It's evening, a cool, crisp night, and everything seems rather quiet. Or at least Tadase would probably prefer them that way. Instead there's an incessant sound - his phone is buzzing nonstop.
Tadase pulls out his phone, and notes the text is coming from Kukai. He opens the door to his room and walks out into the little courtyard around his family's very classically Japanese house, leaning up against a tree and pulling it out to read the texts.
Kukai Souma seems to be writing a lot, rather fast. Kukai: "That girl you told me about, Utau? Back in Tokyo. Putting on a concert at King Penguin Park in few days. She saw Daichi, talked to her, Iru, Eru, didn't let on was Guardian. Saw Tsubasa there. Dropped hint. Hope she got it. Said something about Ikuto joining the band?"
Tadase texts back after a moment. "Okay, Utau's back in town. That's okay. She's got a concert - Ikuto's going to be with her. Got all that. You seem like you're in a real panic, Jack-kun. What's going on?" Then, after a moment, he adds.
"Ikuto shouldn't be much of a problem anymore, right?"
Kukai Souma has found a quiet place in behind a bunch of brush under cover where he can sit down and not feel like he's going to have 3 sets of eyes looking over his shoulder. He goes to typing. "Sorry. Just spent 20 minutes pretending I was a random jerk with a Chara so she didn't catch on, and sprinting off soon as I thought I was far enough away. Also Tsubasa. How annoying. So what, you're saying Utau's not a problem anymore? I admit I didn't listen real well last time you talked about her. And I have no idea about Ikuto. She called him her brother." He adds a shrug emoji at the end of the message and sends it.
"No, Ikuto should be a problem anymore, because of what Amu did. Didn't you hear - if not you should talk with her."
"Yeah, Ikuto and Utau - they're brother and sister. We grew up together. Before Ikuto became a jerk."
"I've never met a Tsubasa... I don't think?"
Kukai Souma makes a noise at that. "Oh. Ok. Well... if you think it'll be ok. Um. Yeah, I haven't seen Amu. I should find her." He chuckles. "Thought you knew everybody King-kun." Smiley face emoji. "All right. Well, thought you ought to know. Gonna go home and see if I can relax."
"Thanks for letting me know. I... I don't know what to think. Let's keep an eye on it, but I'm not a fan of panicking."
"Just be careful - I bet whatever Ikuto was involved in, Utau was too..."
Kukai Souma rolls his eyes at the 'be careful' and sends one last note. "I'll keep my finger over the big EMERGENCY button if I need to. Jack out."
