Lost in Mitakihara

    It's late evening, and theoretically there should be Crime going on in some vaguely sketchy part of Mitakihara, but Ayano Koizumi has had no such luck. She's been running around all evening. She's gotten to the end of her endurance, and is leaning against a wall, wiping away some sweat from her face with a handkerchief. There's a loud hissing, and her eyes immediately scan over to see - a cat running out of an alley. She relaxes, leans back against the wall.

    Her eyes scan the street again, to see if there's anything going on as she pulls a bottle of water from her backpack.

    Meanwhile, the sound of heels clicking on the ground might be heard as a young girl named Akane Hino can be heard walking down the street. She'd been out trying to find something to do, but ended up empty, and unfortunately seemed a bit out of it as she walked home. She was looking down at the ground as she was walking. In fact, when the sound of the hissing was heard, Akane didn't really notice it. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the other woman at first until she got a bit closer... in fact almost bumping into her.

    "Oh... excuse me!" Akane said as she looked up and stopped suddenly. Backing up quickly, she stepped back and scratched the back of her head nervously. "I'm terribly sorry, I was kind of lost in thought!"

    Ayano sees Akane coming at the last moment, and drops the water bottle, whirls around, starting to extend her arms. Seeing that the other girl has stopped, she lowers her arms, relaxes again, and smiles. "Don't worry about it."

    She slides her foot under the now half-empty bottle, kicks it up to her hand without splattering more water somehow, then looks back to Akane, tilts her head a bit to one side.

    "Lost in thought? Are you in some kind of troubling situation?" Her concern sounds almost /eager/ - she's been looking for some sort of trouble all night. She holds the (slightly dirty on the outside) water bottle out towards Akane.

    "Well, that's the thing," Akane says, visibly sweatdropping. "I was trying to meet up with my friends, but apparently their cell phones were turned off, and I couldn't locate them. I've tried several spots too." She bites her lower lip then looks up and tries to force a smile. "So basically, I guess I was headed home... until I bumped into you.

    "To be honest," Akane adds after a moment, "I kinda think I also took a wrong turn, so I'm a little lost. I dunno what exactly to do now."

    Ayano smiles. "I've gotten lost here lots of times! I can guide you back to the train station, if you like. Or do you live around here?" Since Akane doesn't seem interested in the water, she finishes drinking the bottle down, then pulls her handkerchief out and wipes off the outside. "If you tell me where your friends are at, I might be able to figure that out too."

    She pauses, then throws the bottle into her backpack, starts zipping it back up, glances up at Akane as she does. "Ayano Koizumi, Ally of Justice. What's your name?"

    "That'd be great," Akane says with a smile as Ayano mentions the train station. "I really need to get home and that would be so wonderful." She seems to have a natural smile to her personality. "Thank you so much!" She shakes her head at the mention of her friends. "Oh, no, that's OK. I'll meet up with them later." She nods when Ayano introduces herself. "I'm Akane Hino, nice to meet you Ayano." She doesn't let anything drop about her alias, since she's not sure if Ayano's really a magical girl or not.

    "Nice to meet you!" Ayano looks more like a strange Seishou Middle School student than she does like a magical girl. In fact, there's very little to imply anything magical about her. She hauls her backpack up, hurls it over her shoulders, and starts heading off, pauses, looks back at Akane. "This is the way to the train station!" She seems full of energy now that she has a task set in front of her. "Which school do you go to, Hino-san?"

    "Infinity University," Akane replies with a proud smile on her face. "I'm part of their Volleyball Club, and I love it!" She grins even more as she continues to walk alongside Ayano. "I'm glad you could show me to the train station. It's nice to be out, but I need to get home too." Her uncertainty has now disappeared entirely and is replaced with her usual cheerful attitude. In fact, if Ayano knew about the Pretty Cures, she'd understand why Akane is the Cure Sunny!

    Ayano blinks at Ayano's sudden increase in cheerfulness, but accepts it after a moment. She smiles, nods. "Glad to be of help!" Her expression turns a little more thoughtful. "I like volleyball, but I don't play that often. I imagine it's fun, being in a club with everyone!" She blinks, glances back over to Akane.

    "Which volleyball position do you like best?"

    "I personally don't have a favorite position," Akane replies. "I just like playing the game and getting out there and doing the best for my team. And it is kind of fun being in a club." Akane stretches her arms over her head and twists her neck a little as she talks.
