It's after-school. USUALLY, Biv picks up Momo after school. Usually. It's no problem for the motherly-like bluebird to come handle Momo. That's her job. It's what she does! But her and Roy have to-- do something. They were vauge about it- but Reiko was pretty sure it involved lovebird stuff. She was entirely wrong, but still.
SO THUSLY, Reiko has come to wait out in front of the first year classrooms eagerly waiting for Momo so she can take her home. She doesn't seem sad or upset to be here.
Really, she likes her friends little sis! Ring!~ There goes the bell!
She'll hopefully be along any moment!
As the bell rang, Momo gathered up her notebook, pencil, and crayons and packed them into her backpack before shrugging it onto her shoulders. She talked animatedly with some of the other girls as they walked down the hall and then broke off from the group when they got outside.
Raking her eyes around, she frowned when she didn't see Biv. Where was she?
Reiko Touyama sees Momo and her eyes light up-- and then she sees her frowning and worrying so she hurry up and runs over. "Momo-chan!~ Biv has to do a few important things so I'm here to take you home today!~" Reiko says. She smiles and holds her hand out.
She is obviously waiting for Momo to take it.
"So how was school today?" she asks. "Learn anything new?~" she asks softly.
Turning her eyes towards the voice calling her name, Momo appeared briefly shocked until recognisation of the voice. She started running, backpack flopping around on her back as she ran towards Reiko with arms outstretched. "Reiko-chan!.
Momo took the hand in her own, smiling brightly at Reiko.
"It was okay, we didn't really do a lot and Momoso-kun spilled his juice on my colouring book.". She pushed her lips into a little pout, huffing as she did so.
Reiko Touyama beams! She holds Momo's hand because it makes sure she doesn't loose her in the crowds. She turns and begins to walk away from the school. She's wearing her own orange backpack. She head tilts. "Well that's no good! We'll have to get you a new one then.." she says as she taps her chin.
"Or I can draw some special things for you to color, too~" she says softly.
She smiles some and walks to the edge of the road. Looking right. Looking left. Looking at the light to cross. She begins to cross when te light says 'Walk'. Another good reason to hold hands!
"Don't worry, School'll get more intresting for you soon~" she says. "It's almost time for 2nd Grade!" she says. "Then you'll start learnign about Math and Science and----" she blushes.
"I'm kinda boring you. Don't worry." she says. She smiles. "Is your camera okay?" she asks softly. "Do you need new film?" she asks.
Momo Akatsuki seemed excited about the prospect of a new colouring book, and even more so with mention of Reiko drawing the pictures for it herself. She held tightly to the hand as they crossed the word, musing over something else Reiko had said.
"I don't to start second grade... I like first grade and sensei is nice.". She tilted her head at the blush but being seven didn't really register that it was anything to ask about.
She picked up the pink and glittery little camera around her neck and fiddled with it. "It has one of those card things and I think it has a lot of space left.".
Reiko Touyama embarrasses easy. She's always been like that, but she still follows along. She looks down at the camera and smiles. "Oh, digital, right..." she says softly. "I'll have to get you a film camera, maybe for your birthday! Film's a lot different and it's good to experiment!" she smiles.
"I'm gonna get into sculpting chocolate soon." she says softly. "Well, going to try to, at least." she says with a soft sigh.
She looks down thoughtfully. "...So has Uncle Roy and Aunt Biv been treating you well Momo...?" she asks with a soft smile. "Remember... you can always bug me for things, too! Us girls gotta stick together!" she says playfully.
Momo Akatsuki 's eyes get wide at the prospect of a different sort of camera. "Does it work like my digi? I like being able to go right home and print them out to put on the wall. I've got a whole wall of pictures!". She spreads her hands wide as she tries to describe the wall.
What kind of choco-late?". She seems super interested in such a prospect considering was sweets.
At the question she shuffles her feet a little. "They're okay but they aren't onee-san or mamma... I'd like to do stuff with you though! You're like... Onee-san number two!". She beams a bright smile at Reiko.
Reiko Touyama grins some. "A film camera.. you gotta get the pictures developed from film! But maybe we can find you an old instant camera too in a second hand shop... those are harder to come by nowadays though--- you take the picture, then it spits out a picture and it develops in the sunlight!" she says.
She grins. "Well I'm thinking standard milk chocolate, but I might see about flavoring some chocolate.. maybe.. orange flavored chocolate? For chocolate koi~" she grins a bit.
She smiles and reaches down says "one.. two...." and then with a soft lift and a omphhh places Momo on her back for a ride~ "There we go~" she beams.
"Your sister cares about you a lot, Momo... she just has to... go to that study group over far away. I'm sure she'll be back before we know it!" she says with a stern matter of fact nod and a smile! "Okay?" she asks.
Momo Akatsuki hangs from Reiko's back with her chin resting on her shoulder. "That sounds coool, I don't even have to go home to get the picture?". She was excited by that idea, because then she could just take lots of pictures without worrying too much. "Do they run out of paper like the printer does? I get in trouble if I print out too many pictures at once.".
"That sounds yummy, although I like strawberry chocolate the mostest. It's delicious.". She smacks her lips at the thought of strawberry chocolate.
"I... Know, but I miss her. I hope she does come back soon. I'll do whatever she says if she just comes back.". The happiness in her voice momentarily dwindled and she sniffed a little.
Reiko Touyama grins. "The film comes in a cartridge you load into the camera, the cartridge runs out after about fifteen pictures or so." she says. "My grandpa has an old camera like that...I wonder if he'll let me borrow it to show you..." she says softly.
She walks down the road as she sighs a bit. "Yeah. I miss her too." she says softly. "She's my best friend, you know, your sister!" she smiles.
Reiko Touyama, right now is enjoying her time. Not worrying about Prisms, or youma or anything right now, just taking Momo home and talking. It's a nice grounding moment in her head.
"I've seen Hoshi and Chouko and Kaeru a lot recently. Do you remember them?" she asks with a soft smile.
Momo Akatsuki tilts her head a little. "I'd like that. Getting to see one and stuff, it sounds awesome but I'd have to be extra extra picky about what pictures I take.".
She purses her lips and ponders a moment before shaking her head against Reiko's shoulder. "I don't think I do... I remember you but I see you lots so that's why.".
Reiko Touyama grins. "That's part of the fun you know." she says softly. "Figuring out what you want to take a picture of!" she says. "I just draw.. but I lie drawing stuff from my head primarily." she says. "Made up stuff~" she says.
Like Prism Keepers. And other magical girls. Made up. Yup. Not really at all. Yup.
Ah! They're at Momo's home! Living in the same Ward as your school has it's advantages- such as being within walking distance of home. She smiles.
"We're here!" she says as she walks up to the house. "She should be home by now..." she says as she grins. "Got it from here Momo?" she asks softly.
Momo Akatsuki wrap her arms around Reiko in a hug before sliding off her back and smiling. "I've got it! See you later, Reiko-chan!".
Momo quite enjoyed time with her sister's best-friend and she practically skipped up to the house.
