The world in a part of the Harbor District in Uminari City is a world of wondorous sweets. That is, Some buildings are now giant cakes. There's frosting instead of grass. Lamp posts are like thing wafer cookies topped with strawberries and whipped cream and in the middle of it is, in an elegant woman with a parasol leaned against her chair sipping a cup of tea with a pink beret with an apple stylized onto it.
There's a Terribad here, with a pink scarf, glasses, and a giant skewer of chicken and vegtables it's using as a giant sword, or hammer or some sort of weapon. By what appears to be a stand for such food is a mirror, with a vendor trapped inside!
"Chicken is horribly savory, it's awful. This is much better, Cure Trashbird." insists Hosshiwa. "But I don't expect someone as unelegant as you to get that."
Oh yeah, fighting the Terribad is a seafoam green Pretty Cure. Cure Gull! There's a seagull on her shoulder who's currently holding on for dear life as Gull is leveraging her wings to keep her more mobile as the Terribad seems quick to move and swing that giant food skewer.
"Oh my god. It's Cure Gull. Stop callin me Trashbird." she calls out as she avoids another swing, the ground shaking as that skewer hits ground.
Gull doesn't seem to be getting in many hits. This thing seems to be moving too fast- but she's holding her own. At least, the gaint feather lodged in the things chest suggests she's gotten in at least one good hit so far.
"Nrrrrg just a few more openings and I can....." the Cure mutters to herself.
*poke poke poke*
"HEY GET UP!" The soft pink fairy yells to the sleeping Naomi. Its Saturday Morning and no school. That means sleep. Sleep is good! Why wouldn't she be passed out right now!
Naomi groans and rolls over, "What? Just five more minutes momma." The young girl doesn't get her five minutes. Nope She gets pushed out of bed by the pink fairy.
"Come on! There is a Terribad! I can feel it. Get dressed. We have to move!" Lilac states while throwing water on Naomi to get her awake.
"Oh come on! I'm up! Did ya really have to do that?! Wait what? A Terribad!? Crap." It takes her a moment to get dressed and then she runs out the door without any breakfast. It takes her a few more moments to get to the harbor. And then, Oh goodness. All of those sweets! Her stomach growls loudly and she just looks at Lilac, "Can't we just..." The little fairy just gives her a sharp look that speaks volumes. "Oh come on. Fine. Lets find the general."
It doesn't take much longer for her to see just what kind of madness is going on. "Put the Seagull girl down." She snaps at the general. "Hosshiwa? I met your friend the other day. Let the girl go, release whomever you have in the mirror and just go away. Take your Terribad with you!" Hey she's trying right?
Cure Gull flies good and fast, like her namesake. That's the only good thing going for her right now. She's trying to get behind this thing-- or catch it off guard but it's a little too fast. Nrg--- she'll have to rely on a lot of faster weaker but quicker attacks she things as she draws her hand back---- in a moment.
Then there's shoting and words--- and she has to dart backward's a moment. She looks over to Naomi and blinks. Then an agitated look. "Ugh, it's nobody. Go away nobody."
Hosshiwa turns and narrows her eyes. "Someone as elegant as me hardly has time for you." she insists.
"Peon." she insists at Naomi. "I am simply too elegant for you to handle. Leave at once." she says.
"ABOUT AS ELEGANT AS A TRASH BAG!" yells Gull.
"SILENCE!" yells Hosshiwa.
The Terribad turns it's attention back at Gull. "Heeeeey uh, you should probably run!" Gull calls back as she darts backwards against the backdrop of sweet.
She's doing a good job of distracting the thing at least, if she's having a hard time getting an opening for an attack.
"I reallllly am going to have a hard time keeping your safe with this thing here!" she calls out.
The young girl shakes her head, "Of course I'm not going to run!" She takes a fighting stance and gets ready to go.
The pink fairy with her just face palms, "Spark, use your mirror. You won't do anything like that."
"Oh umm." Naomi turns deep red. This is awkward. "I should probably do that. Time to change!" She pulls out her mirror and calls out, "Pretty Cure Rolling Mirror Change!" Immediately the air is filled with yellow and cyan lights looking like lightning streaking. The girl is struck by what looks like lightning and her hair shifts. Her body is covered with a cloak and her clothing quickly goes through the right changes. Then she tears off the cloak revealing herself to be a Precure. A Love prebrace appears on her right wrist and a case for her mirror appears on her left hip. "Curiosity, Sparking the fires of Creativity, CURE SPARK!" The lightshow ends and Spark gives a little smirk. Looking at Hosshiwa, she gives one final warning, "Last chance, Get out of here and releace the person in the mirror!"
Of course she isn't expecting her to listen. Her attention goes to Gull and by default the Terribad. "Hey big guy, Over here!" She darts back before calling out, "Spark Lightning STRIKE!" She goes charging at the Terribad and Lightning hits her just before she connects with the monster. All of that energy has one place to go!
Cure Gull has to take a moment, just a second to pause. "Oh for crying out loud...." she mutters. Corvus shrugs his wings a moment before she darts backwards and lets her feet touch ground finally. "YOU KNOW YOU COULD HAD DONE THAT WHEN YOU ARRIVED!" she calls out.
Hossiwha blinks and frowns. "Ugh, a purple Pretty Cure. Purple is such an awful color. Reminds me too much of grape. The worst of the flavors." she insists.
The Terribad gets shocked in the back which causes it to stagger and Cure Gull's eyes light up. "GULL WINDY PUNCH!" she calls out as she jolts forward---throwing a wind infused punch that has an effect of leaving seagull feathers in it's wake--- which sends the Terribad flying backwards even still.
Awwww yeah, that one felt good as she punches a fist into her palm.
"Hey! Look! I know you mean well but these Phantom Empire idiots don't listen to reason!"
"I'M TOO ELEGANT FOR THAT!" yells Hossiwha. "I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!" she insists loudly.
Gull kind of facepalms as she takes another leap toward's the Terribad- which is slowly getting off up it's butt.
"This only my second time even changing." Spark comments to Gull. She quickly takes flight towards the Terribad. In midflight she hits her prebrace, "Spark Blinding Flash! She quickly gets in the creatures face and brings her hands together. There is a serious flash of light that goes off and Spark quickly gets the heck out of the way.
Then there is Hosshiwa's voice. "Kinda annoying isn't she?" She states to Gull before she glances over at Hosshiwa again. "Sorry don't have time for petty fake nobles, Trying to save lives." She comments before landing and getting ready to attack again.
Flash! Cure Gull blinks rapidly as she rubs her eyes, and arghs---! Okay she probably shouldn't look at this girl's attacks she thinks now. Her own fault. She sort of falils. Corvus likewise is hurried waving his wings in front of his ace.
The Terribad has it worse of course, being blinded and calling out 'Terribad'!.
Cure Gull blinks and frowns.
"Hey, you! Let's end this before Hosshiwa does something stupid like call in Kindbads. I'm not in a good place to form change right now!" she calls out.
"Wings of Hope, turn into a sacred power!" she calls out lifting her PreBrace, a double spin--- a "Pretty Cure--- Hopeful Feather.. Shoot!" she cals out--- summoning that translucent wing emblem with spins around her fists as she then proceeds to punch it into the Terribad-- it gets Enveloped-----
Now all that's left is for Cure Spark to follow up.
"What, no! This isn't elegant at all!" insists Hosshiwa loudly in contempt and complaining.
"Light of Curiosity, Turn into Sacred Power!" Spark scries out as she also spins her Prebrace. "Love Prebrace! Pretty Cure, Ball Lightning!!" She shouts as a set of intersecting lightning bolts appear behind her. A ball of lightning goes flying at the Terribad wrapping it up as well leaving it to its fate.
Spark turns from the end result of the attack. This also gives her a pretty good view of the whining Hosshiwa. She smirks and crosses her arms. Clicking her tongue a few times she simply shakes her head.
"Wings of Hope, return to the heavens!"
"Spark of Curiosity, return to the heavens!"
The Terribad gets engulfed by the two attacks and with the ever present:..
"Sooo Relaxing!..." disspates into the purificative energy of the two attacks. The vendor is free--- but ends up collapsing unconcious-- he seems to have fainted upon waking up- his constitution must not be up to this craziness.
Hossiwha, in the meantime, watches 'horrified' as her world of sweets dissapears, and she hrms.
"I won't forget this!" she calls out shaking her Parasol at the two before she dissapears-- into a quick burst of what appears to be some sort of almost ninja like teleport.
Gull looks around and then activates her wings as she flies upwards towards the top of the building. "Hey, come up here. People won't see us up here and undoubtley, people are going to come back and I don't like answering questions~" she sings out.
Spark nods to Gull. Her own wings appear and she is about ready to lift off when she glances over towards the unconscious man. Quickly she moves over to him to check on him. Taking a bag, he happened to have at the time and sliding it under his head, she smiles a little. "You'll be alright."
A moment later, she is in the air, flying to the rooftop to join Gull. She gives a smile and a polite bow, "Cure Gull, I presume?" She giggles a little. "Blue-sama mentioned you. He also mentioned you two weren't on good terms. None of my business though. I'm Cure Spark. Nice to meet you. I'm really new to this."
Then, Lilac who is still with her of course, speaks up, "I feel mmm the fullness of a hot and yummy meal! Ooo! Ahh Ah! My nose!! Rub it please!!!" Spark giggles and rubs the fairy's nose. Out pops a few cards. These ones holding the chef likeness on them. They are quickly put in the album.
Spark just stands with her mouth open. "If I use those, I'll be able to cook? This is so weird! Its going to take some serious getting used to I think."
Cure Gull lands on the rooftop as she sits down on top of an air conditioning unit after giving it a quick windy gust to clean all the dirt off. She sits down and wiggles her butt into it. Corvus sighs a bit. "That one was a little close." mutters the bird.
She head tilts. "Cure Spark, right? That's what you said earlier." she nods. "You're new then."
Then she frowns. "That's because he's a big jerk who thinks he can tell girls what to do! Him-- and-- and Tadase-kun!" she huffs. "Why is he even warning you about that!? Stupid!" she huffs and crosses her arms.
Corvus pats Haruna's head a bit to calm her down. This mostly works.
She looks at the card and peeks. "Oh, neat." she says.
"Yeah, that's how the PreCards work." she says.
"I havvvve...." she taps Corvus. Corvus blinks and reaches into his tail feathers and pulls out the much larger PreCard Decor as she opens it. "Nurse... Suit... Idol... Ninja... and my Form Change... Blueberry Waltz." she says.
"Phantom Empire has been more active recently, so I'm sure I'll have a chance to get more." she muses.
She offers the decor back to Corvus who puts it back away.
"But... yeah. I'm Cure Gull. This is my partner Corvus."
"Hey." says Corvus as he waves.
"So you haven't been doing this long. Two transformations. Okay."
"So how'd you get your Love Seed?" she asks. "Did you just find it.. or...?"
Spark smiles and lets out a soft giggle, "Blue didn't warn me about you. He actually mentioned that you were active and it was likely that I would encounter you. Listen, I don't exactly like the whole love rule myself and I told Blue I'll try not to fall in love with anyone but I am not making any promises on that. Lifes too short to not enjoy that sort of thing right?"
She gives a little smile and then looks at Gull's PreCard Decor. "Woah. Okay there are a lot of different cards. Wait what are form Change cards? I know about the ones that let me turn into Cure Spark but I didn't know about any others."
As Corvus makes his introduction, Spark just gives a smile, "Nice to meet you Corvus. This here is Lilac. She's my partner in this mess. Well I think she is. Blue introduced us earlier this week and its been crazy since." Lilac smiles and gives a little wave.
Then, turning back to Gull, The rookie gives a little smile, "Yep, Just started all of this earlier this week. Tuesday, I think. Time's sorta run together. As for my love seed, My mom was put into a mirror by Namakelder. A Terribad showed up. They told me to leave. I didn't want to. I wanted to save my mom. But they were right. I couldn't stay. I'd of gotten really hurt if I did. So I ran off. I ran into a strange man with blue hair and eyes. He gave me a love seed and it blossomed. Next thing I knew I was fighting with a terribad and barely recognizing myself!"
Cure Gull listens and nods. "Okay so... alright." she says. "At least you got a chance to hear the rules." she says softly. "I..um. Don't really want to go into my story right now." she admits. "Just...I did a lot of bad things because I was very sad. I got hope from a bunch of a people- and I was able to stop what I'd done." she says softly.
She looks down. "When I was doing the bad stuff...I met Hannah Sharpe. She was my first.... real friend. She helped me at the end too. Then I fell in love... and I told her. And she reciprocated so-- that was kinda that." she blushes.
"Hannah is. She works for some bad folks. She gave her arm to save me and-- did some stupid stuff to get it back." she mutters.
"That upset the group I used to work for, that I was associated with her and her group. So they tried to make me choose.. I said no." she says.
"But that's why everyone's so upset and dissapointed in me." she mutters. "I think it's stupid." she says crossing her arms.
"My sister's really upset- but she forgets that the only reason she-- she was rescued from Phantom's stupid Graveyard is because Hannah worked so hard for me to get me there! And fought with me to save her! We almost died!" she says stamping a foot down.
"Nrg.. I'm sorry. I just get upset when it's brought up." she says softly. "People like to bag on Hannah because she does stupid stuff... but they never remember the /good/ things she does." she mutters.
Spark shakes her head, "Its Okay. I don't know her. I don't know you. I can't judge anyone. Besides, if I did, it would be easy for people to point out the mistakes I've made and stuff. I make it a habit of blowing things up!"
Lilac floats over to Corvus and inspects him. "You weren't always a Seagull were you?" She asks curiously. She likely senses the magic on him. "You seem nice! Whats it like being a bird?"
Cure Gull sighs and shakes her head. "No he wasn't. He was a raven, once upon a time ago."
Corvus nods matter of factly. "But that's what I don't wanna talk about." she says as she stands to her feet. "Been about a year ago as of yesterday so it's just on my mind..." she says.
"Look... Spark? I need to go. We'll probably meet again. Um..."
"Look up Haruna Kurosawa at Infinity. That's me. The girl with the gull feather hairclip!" she insists. "And we can talk then okay?" she asks as she waits for Naomi's last words, before she begins to leave.
Cure Spark smiles, "Okay, I guess if you want to, look up Naomi Yomada. I go to Infinity too. I'm still in Elementry school though." She blushes a little and nods. "Okay I should probably get home. All of those sweets that Hosshiwa had created sorta made me really hungry. Lilac got me out of bed and raced me here!" She blushes a little."
"Next time I'll get a hose on you! You can't be lazy. You got responsibilities now and not just ones to your family." The pink fairy smirks as she lectures.
Spark rubs her head, "I thought you were supposed to be a helper. Not a teacher."
