Ahhh Dinner was really good tonight Udon was just what the doctor ordered! Not to mention the ochazuke that wajust really hit the spot for her. It was just so yummy. After helping to clean up, Naomi asked her moms if she could go to the game tonight. Seishou @ Infinity U! It is supposed to be a really good volleyball game and well, it sure beats sitting at home doing next to nothing. With her moms' permission, she was off.
The gymnasium is packed. People from both schools have arrived to cheer on their respective teams. There are a few food vendors about but seeing as this is a school event, Its not like its a huge professional game. A number of the players are out warming up and everything is good to go!
Naomi is sitting with the rest of the home team fans. She attends Infinity so why wouldn't she be cheering for them. She did change before coming to school. She happens to be wearing a white top, with a pink jacket over it. Her arms are exposed. A pink plaid skirt sits on her legs. She has a pair of sensible shoes on her feet. Her hair is done in a single pony tail and she has a blue headband on with a pair of bow.
Tonight's a volleyball night for Infinity University, and that means Akane Hino is out and about taking part with her team. Wearing a simple t-shirt and shorts, with sneakers and socks to go with it, Akane waves to the crowd as she takes her place in the court. After warming up and getting introductions out of the way, the game is on! And it's what Akane does best, especially when she's in a great mood!
Akane shows her skills on the court as she delivers amazing spikes and provides great saves for her team. Even then, the scores are still fairly close together. Nevertheless, Akane still remains very optimistic as she continues to play as best as she can, trying to put on a great show for her fans!
Sora is one of the better players on her team, and she's always up for a challenge. Infinity's high standards mean a game against Infinity is never easy, and what better to take her mind off things than physical exercise in a competitive setting?
Like the other girls on her team, she's wearing the Seishou sports uniform, and as her teammate sets the ball up for her, she smashes it past the net, a quick, high speed ball right for the furthest corner of the court. It's on point, it will stay inside the lines if not disturbed.
"WOO!!! Go Hino-San!!!" Of course she knows who Akane is. Not because of meeting her but because she is the star player and that means she's at least heard of her! So she continues cheering!! Quietly she stands up and moves up to the vendor.
Up at the Vendor there is a line. Or course there is a line!! There are two men holding hands, There is a young couple with two kids waiting in line. A woman dressed in pink with an umbrella and a pink hat. Two kids from school and a group of girl texting their friends, all in front of her. She simply sighs and waits patiently.
Akane runs for the ball, attempting to save it, but she misses and the ball is in. Nevertheless, Akane still smiles about it and gives a thumbs up to the opposing player. "Good one!" She says, keeping a good sportsmanship attitude about her. "We can still keep this going!" She waves to Naomi as she hears the cheering before getting back into position.
Sora has a smug grin when she lands the shot, and turns around to high-five her teammate. Then she gets back into position, ready to respond when Infinity players respond to her teammate's serve. She's in the zone, and completely ignoring the audience, including any of her own schoolmates that may be watching.
Naomi Yomada giggles happily as she sees the wave. Yup she knows that was to her. That makes this just awesome!!! It even makes the long wait at the concession stand a little more tolerable. Finally the two men are helped and they move on to go enjoy the game. The young couple moves to the cash register. The pink lady steps forward and the kids from school... just stay put. "Umm, the lines moving, can you move up?"
"Line? What line?! I'm texting my boyfriend!" the first girl states.
"Yeah I am talking to my girlfriends on the other side of the gym! Just go around. Gosh!" The other comments.
Naomi just laughs and shakes her head. She steps up behind the pink lady.
Akane meanwhile continues to focus on her volleyball game. She steps up the game, feeling the effect of the cheers for her. Even when it seems tough, Akane always manages to keep a big smile on her face, almost like it motivates her to do even better. "Come on team, we can do this!" Akane yells after a nice point is scored by her team.
Thus the point against them comes in, and Sora looks towards the teammate responsible for that corner with a 'you can do better' look. She doesn't say anything, and that is entirely unfair of her. That was a rough ball to defend against, and Sora knows it.
Still, the girl's nothing if not competive. Her pride allows her nothing less, and so she gets ready to receive Infinity's incoming serve. She can't allow herself to let them win because she wasn't ready. At least it has to be because they were that good.
Finally the Pink woman is up. She looks at the man, "Yes I would like some cake and some chocolate milk. Maybe some Moshi too." She states. Her voice is prim and proper. "Maybe some ice cream too." She smirks and gives a sharp look to the man at the counter.
Naomi has turned and is watching the game. Its a really good one and the teams are neck and neck score wise. "Come on!! You can do it!" She cheers out. Then, she hears a very familiar voice. She quickly whips around to see whats going on.
The man at the counter just shakes his head. We have some ice cream but we don't have the other things you want. We have Dango and crepes too as well as sodas and water. We don't have anything else, I'm sorry."
The woman frowns, "How dare you not have the sweets I desire! Do you know who I am? I demand the sweetest of foods and you can't even help with that. I guess I will have to make my own! Let the future reflected in the mirror turn Terrible!"
Naomi quickly speaks up, "Hosshiwa NO!!" But it's too late. The man is quickly sealed in a mirror and red ribbons wrap over him.
"Come on, Terribad!!" Hosshiwa's sadistic laughter fills the are as a terribad in a hat an apron appears. It is wielding 2 dangos, one in each hand. "Make me some sweets now." She states as she sits down and sips what can only be sweet hot tea. Suddenly the stands begin turning into a eclairs. Cakes and various sweets begin forming over the whole place. The volleyball turns into a pink gumdrop.
It's advantage to Infinity, and Akane's about to serve. If she does this the right way, she could easily win the game for her team. But just then, screams break out in the stands, and things start to change into... sweets? Even the volleyball changes. Akane realizes what's going on quickly, and rushes away saying, "I'm going to get help!" And she is planning to get help... albeit as herself! She waits until she's out of sight and then proceeds to transform from Akane Hino into Cure Sunny. With that, Cure Sunny rushes back into the gym area and, with swiftness, leaps into the stands, pointing at the evil being behind this.
"You have made a bad mistake, interrupting this wonderful game! Sweets are nice, but there's too much of a good thing too! I am the brilliant sun with hot blooded power! I am Cure Sunny!" She stands proudly and stares down the enemy. "You will not triumph here, the light shall win!"
In the chaos, Sora thinks for a moment that she ought to intervere. Then, Cure Sunny arrives, and she just heads to her locker room. In this chaos, there's no way the game is going to continue, and there's no need for her to step in any longer. Thus, she removes herself from the scene.
Naomi looks around. It's Chaos! That is a good thing for now. That means it will be unlikely that anyone notices when she does this! "Time to Change! Pretty Cure, Rolling Mirror Change!" The light show hits and the girl quickly goes through the transformation sequence. "Curiosity, Sparking the fires of Creativity, CURE SPARK!"
Hosshiwa looks up and sees Cure Spark and Cure Sunny. "Pretty Cure, have you come to learn what is to be a real Lady? I was just wanting to enjoy some sweets." She gives a sharp look to Cure Sunny, "There is no such thing as too much of a good thing dear. Perhaps you need to learn that lesson. Terribad, teach these two that lesson!"
The Terribad cries out, "Terribad!" And points the dangos at the two. Two blasts of energy go flying at the girls. One for each of them.
Cure Sunny yells for Cure Spark to look out, while she herself summons balls of light and mixes them into a larger sphere. She tosses it into the air and then literally spikes the ball of light at the enemy. "The light shall teach you a lesson!"
Cure Spark quickly jumps out of the way. "Okay big guy, Lets dance!" She launches herself toward the Terribad rapidly punching it repeatedly. Every punch is charge with energy and Spark is definitely moving!"
Between the light ball and the rapidfire punches the Terribad goes down. "Terrrribaaaad." It lands on a wall that had turned into a giant tiramisu.
Hosshiwa looks and frowns, "How dare you! Kindabads! Get out here!" Suddenly there are almost two dozen of of the smaller beings. They quickly move in.
"Hiya, I'm Cure Spark, Nice to meet you. These guys are easy there are just a lot of them!"
"And I'm Cure Sunny!" Cure Sunny replies with a big grin. "We can do this! Let's show them that might makes right!" She proceeds to conjure up more light magic, using the projectiles to strike at the small beings. "They have bigger numbers, but we've got positivity on our side!"
Several of the Kindabads go down from Cure Sunny's attack. The kindabads surround the two and are definitely looking for trouble. "TERRIBAD!!!" The big nasty one gets up and is ready to fight some more several pieces of Dango go flying at the girls.
"Lets take me down hard!" Spark exclaims as she quickly turns the gem on prebrace. "Spark Beautiful Halo!" Her hands begin glowing with cyan and yellow energy. She throws her hand up to the sky, An explosion of energy goes out in all directions forming a halo and frying up a number of those kindabads.
"Yeah, we got this!" Sunny says to Spark. "Let's keep it up!" She tosses balls of light into the air and starts juggling them before tossing them at her enemies. "Catch these!"
Meanwhile, the Dango coming Akane's way are quick to meet some martial arts style attacks from her. Even without her powers, she's still a formidable foe. A few kicks and punches and her enemies are taken care of!
Cure Spark was busy trying to take down kindabads. She didn't notice the inbound Dango ball. It hits her and sends her into a milkshake. It takes her a moment to get out. "Ick! How can you like this stuff Hosshiwa! Gods its gross!" Its her a moment to get out. Her attention goes solely to the Terribad. Quickly she moves to Sunny, "We need to finish this!"
Hosshiwa laughs as she watches Spark go for a strawberry swim. "Pink looks so much better on you then yellow and blue, Cure Spark." She looks to the Terribad, "Finish them."
Running over to help Spark up, Sunny looks to her and nods. "Then why don't we combine our powers together? I'll use my power of light and you can use your sparks or whatever?" She points to the enemy and says, "OK? Let's do this together!" She prepares to summon forth her powerful magic for a combined finishing move.
Cure Spark nods to Cure Sunny, "Lets do it." She smiles. Quickly she turns the gems on her prebrace and the lightshow kicks up. "Light of Curiosity tun into Sacred power!" A pair of intersecting lightning bolts appear behind her. "Love Prebrace! Pretty Cure Ball Lightning!" She calls out. The two lightning bolts fly forward forming into a ball and wrapping up the terribad!
"Light of Sunshine becomes Light Power! Pretty Cure Ball Sunshine!" Cure Sunny calls out as she sends forth a large ball of light and power into the lightning, combining with it to add more force and power to the attack. Together, this should be enough to deal with the enemy in front of them.
"Spark of curiosity return to the heavens!" Cure Spark states as she turns away from the trapped Terribad.
"Sooo Relaxing." The Terribad Says before it vanishes. That is the end of that terribad.
Hosshiwa is suddenly annoyed. All of her sweets have vanished and the concession stand man is freed from the mirror. He suddenly looks quite confused and is a little exhausted. Hosshiwa growls, "Next time, Pretty Cure! I will show you how you are Supposed to treat a refined lady such as myself." Then she blinks out of existance.
Spark smiles bright, "That was so cool! Your powers are so awesome! Fire is so cool! Sorry, I'm still pretty new. This was my forth time fighting with the Phantom Empire. Those guys are annoying and they always seem to attack at the worst time." She frowns over that last part.
"It always seems to happen, but don't worry, now that I've found you, there are more Cures to be found I'm sure, and we're gonna make a great team." Sunny smiles eagerly. "Besides, we've taken care of the threat for now, so we won!"
Cure Spark blinks, "A Team!? That would be so cool!! I know of one other Pretty Cure. Though her and Blue are a little at odds. That is Cure Gull! I was talking with her a lot today."
Suddenly something comes flying from what looks like an abandoned bag. Sunny would likely recognize it as the area where the girl who was cheering for her was sitting. Cure Spark! Good job! That was really good! I didn't want to get in the way." The pink plush fairy comments. "I feel the mystery of magic inside. Eep Rub it pleeeease!" She sticks her nose out to Spark. Spark quickly rubs her nose and the fairy giggles and then sneezes! Out pops a pair of cards. They look like a tuxedo complete with tophat and wand. A Magician.
"Cure Sunny, This is my partner, Lilac. She's really sweet when she's not trying to tell me how if I eat sweets I won't fit in my cure outfit."
"Nice to meetcha, Lilac!" Sunny replies with a big smile. "And that's true, if you eat too much you won't be a good Cure!" She giggles. "But I'm sure fighting these beings does more than enough good for that!"
The fairy gives a bow, "Hello Cure Sunny! Nice to meet you!" She smiles and and extends a paw to shake.
Spark gives a little duck face. "I found a way to keep myself in shape! I am going to learn to dance!!!" The girl spins around a little and falls on her butt.
Sunny reaches down to help Spark up. "Don't give up! You just need a little more practice! I bet you can do it!" She smiles and gives a thumbs up. "For now, we did a great job today!"
