Reiko Touyama has been in a comatose state since the day of the Tokyo Tourism Board's Art Contest, and Griselda shattered her Chroma Prism. Orange, the color, has dissapeared- being replaced with a drab shade of grey.
She's resting peacefully in a hospital bed by a window. Her hair is also grey. Her eyes are closed. She seems to be sleeping. Expressionless.
Sitting on a nightstand nearby is a green bird, Gigi, who's being all fussy about things and trying very hard to draw a get well card. This isn't working very well. She doesn't draw good. She is not a creator. She was never meant to be a creator. but she's going to try. Darnit.
Kaeru Aokawa barges in, the blue-haired girl wearing blue and stops and stares at the scenario. "Reiko-san... I... I'm sorry..." she whispers, staring at the gray-haired girl. She just sits down on the chair, lowering her face and whimpering. "I... I was so far away - I couldn't come... I couldn't help..." She glances at Gigi. "Gigi... what do we do?" she whispers. "Is there any hope?"
Yuzuki Amemori is going to be trying to help the girl, she kind of feels like aside from trying to help during the incident and the follow up meeting, she should give her a visit. She's wearing a black fitted tee with a mixed color paint splatter design along the left side and sleeve to go with a long skirt. She brought a get well card, just a small little thing and a small number of peony flowers. There's a mix of colors in there including 'grey' on the idea that when she wakes up they'll be orange. That'd be good right?
Spotting someone familiar, she hesitates at the door and says, "Oh erh, I'm sorry! I can wait outside." While bowing in apology.
Reiko Touyama looks up. "Blue-chan!" she says. Gigi can talk now. But she can also turn into a green hair'ed girl about Momo's age. Which she does. With a soft transformation of green warm light and she nods nods. "It's okay Ka-chan!" Gina says. (Because she's Gina in this form.). "We're going to fix this soon!" she says.
She looks over to Yuzuki Amemori. "Oh! Hi! You were at the meeting right?" she asks. "Nono! It's okay!" she smiles. "Ka-chan this is someone who is going to help!" she says wide eyed.
Reiko Touyama is still comatose. Yup.
Kaeru Aokawa nods slowly. "I am... a close friend of Reiko's..." she states softly. "Gina-chan... what do I do? I feel terrible. Like I failed." She doesn't know what else to say. "I was away - I couldn't help when orange ceased to exist... in Peru, actually. My mom took me to a international conference about the rainforest and rare species like the poison-dart frog." She sighs softly. "I even have a picture I was going to show Reiko..." She got the photo out - of a gray frog on a leaf. She then slumps down and starts crying.
Yuzuki Amemori runs her fingers through her hair, leaning back out of the door and checking around. She feels like she's intruding even with the invitation from the bird-girl. She stands up straight and says quietly, "I was at the meeting. I was at the show too- not like this mind." Well, she had been there in this way too, but they didn't see that. She walks over to set the flowers down nearby, taking a moment to make sure they're arrayed nicely, making a few minor adjustments. If there are any other flowers, she'll check those too if they've been knocked out of order or anything.
There's only so much that can be said when you're the oldest... still kid really in the room. Before too long passes, she crouches down next to Kaeru and gently pats her back while trying to be reassuring, "We'll be going to help-" she looks to the bird, "Right?" She seems like she's not sure if she should back out quickly or wait. She's not around this kind of thing that often!
Gina-chan frowns quite hard. "It's--it's okay... Ka-chan! I'm sure... she'll be really happy to see it when she wakes up...! It's-- everything is going to be okay!" she says worriedly as she begins to cry.
She looks to Yuzuki and gently takes the flowers and walks across the room to put them with the other well wishing flowers and cards.
She walks back and frowns a bit. "Right. We're going to be doing something about it!" she says with a curt nod.
"No worries!" she huffs!
She puts on best determined look.
Kaeru Aokawa whispers, "I thought... when these real crystals came... that they were just part of the game again... how... how could this happen? That being a 'protector of color'... means that literally? How did Reiko's crystal break?" she whimpers, hugging Gina-chan. "I coudln't do anyt hing - I felt the shockwave - I saw it wash over us... and take the color away. Nobody else saw anything..."
Yuzuki Amemori stands up and brushes herself off, "That should be soon right?" She was about to say more, but hearing the younger girl asking why their game turned real gets a very ugly look directed at the bird-girl. She doesn't say anything about it though and that passes soon enough. What does she do? Should she step out, give the two some privacy? Make sure that Gigi actually tells the story?
"There's no use in being upset that you weren't able to help then as long as you're going to help fix it, right?"
Gina frowns. "Hiroko-chan is... Griselda. Princess of the Grey Kingdom." she says softly to Kaeru. "Something happened and she realized Reiko was Prism Keeper Orange... so she attacked her while she wasn't transformed. Before she could do so."
"Color is the source of all imagination and creativity. That's what you guys protect when you protect color!" she says. She's been asking Mom and Dad question's obviously.
"Because without color. Things stop being made. Created. Never progress. Never again." she says matter of factly.
She looks to Yuzu. "Yup! We're gonna help!" she says.
Kaeru Aokawa sniffsniffs as she slumps. ".... Hiroko? So when we became the Prism Keepers, with similar costumes to the one we dressed up in - she became our foe, the one SHE dressed up as?" she asks, sighing softly. "The first priority is to restore her crystal. Do we have the shards anywhere?" she asks. "How... how do we fix this? I want to enjoy oranges again... have you tried them lately? they taste like wood."
Gina frowns and shakes her head. "There's nothing left of it Ka-chan...." she says silently. "We need to go..to Spectra, a pararell world to replace it." she says softly. "We have lots of help though. It won't be dangerous at all!" she says. "Right.. you don't know. What made the game real..."
"Um. So. Um. The Grey Kingdom existed. Before your story. It's ruled by a being named Nox, who hates... creativity. And Progress. And Creation." she says. "He was drawn to Mei's story because it contained the perfect storm of... everything. Minions with a similar name. A way to make his creatures more powerful-- Shades. So he stole the story, and made it real." she says silently.
"Aura.. the Ruler of Spectra-- the fountain of creativity and color! Um. She took. The other half. You guys. And made that real. And she sent us with them. We're Motes. Motes kind of travel the colorways and we help urge people mentally to create and think!" she says.
"So we have to go there. Because Aura can help us create a new Prism."
Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Alright... I'm in. So what do we do and how do we do it?" she asks, clicking her tongue as a little blue frog appears on Gina's shoulder. "I... I need to help - I wans't there to protect the oragne crystal. But I need to help restore it." She sighs softly, rubbing her forehead.
Yuzuki Amemori shrugs as the girl is too distracted to really do anything else. Standing up, she looks to Gigi and says, "I'll be there when we go." She checks around the room curiously, then heads for the door.
Gina looks to Yuzuki. "Um. Bye Yuzu-chan!" she says perching on her tiptoes. She looks over to Kaeru. "Don't worry. Okay Kaeru...? Stuff. Happens sometimes. Reiko knew what'd happen if her Chroma Prism ever got damaged like that." she says.
"She did her best, just like you all do." she says softly.
Kaeru Aokawa murmurs, "Nobody told ME that the prisms were so vital..." She sighs. "I..." She sighs softly. "I will do my best. I thoguht it was just a game. I... I... didn't know how serious it was..." She sighs. "I'm sorry, Gina. I will make this right>"
Gina merely gives a hug. "We'll figure it out, together!" she says, the tiny girl hugging as /hard as she can!/.
