A text earlier in the day from Reiko had been answered, though surprisingly not by Eilam himself. Someone identifying himself as one of his caretakers had been asked to respond for him that he wasn't feeling the best at the moment, but she was welcome to come by and talk. He had wanted to speak with her as it was. And with the attached address, well... it would lead to a manor on the outskirts of Tokyo!
The manor is small, certainly, but also fairly old. Not that it makes it seem larger by being old, there was a fair bit of lawn, lots of well-kept trees of various kinds. A lot of pink cherry trees, though, especially lining the main pathway. No one can say Eilam dislikes pink. The manor looked to be a strange mixture of western-influenced design, but also an era home that was made to try and 'look' western while still maintaining some level of Japanese taste. It works more because the entire place looks like it was built to design and less like it was upgraded over time.
At the moment an older Japanese fellow, mid-50's, wandering the grounds and looking here and there at things in the gardening. Inspecting, perhaps. Along with him was a landscaper who he was talking to and pointing some things out. The large iron gate and walls that surrounded the place gave it a little more feel of it being private.
Reiko Touyama arrives at the manor. How did she get here? Well she cheated and flew a bit of the ways before untransforming from a Prism Keeper and walking to the gate. She'd wait to be let in past the gate. She gently tilts her head and bows a bit. "Hello!" she says to the older man.
"Um, I'm looking for Eilam Hisakawa-kun?" she asks as her eyes glance over to the cherry trees.
She looks back and keeps her smile however. She's just happy to be awake again. And not having a nightmare.
"Hm? Ah, hello." he said, stepping over towards the gate and pushing in a code on the inner side so that it opened. "Yes, he was hoping you would decide to come by. I am Soru Kaito, I help take care of his needs as required. If you need anything while you're here, let me or my wife, know." Once she was inside the gate, it shut. "Go ahead and start marking the spots I told you about and I will be back shortly enough." Kaito said towards the landscaper and made his way to the front door of the manor.
"He is in his study at the moment, last I saw, resting. From what I understand, Miss Touyama, you know enough about his condition, so I suppose I do not need to explain anything about that." She was led into the foyer of the house and down the hallway towards a door that was partially open. An office/study of sorts with lots of books and the likes, soft jazz playing in the background. Eilam himself was inside at the moment, though his eyes were closed. He was laying back in a rather comfortable-looking recliner. Possibly asleep, hard to say, but before stepping away Kaito gave a knock on the door and offered Reiko to go ahead inside.
Reiko Touyama watches the landscaping work with some intrest for a moment, wondering what's being put in-- or taken away for that matter. A privacy hedge? More trees? Spotlights and Turrets!? The last one sort of gets a big red X over it because, most certainly, Eilam-san isn't that kind of person. Right?
She lets herself be led in and she thanks the man politely as she closes the door behind herself and walks forward as she steps quietly.
"Eilam-san are you awake? Or waking up?" she asks.
Then a koi appears next to Eilam's head. It has a giant gong next to it and it's gearing up to swing. Reiko gives it a /REALLY EVIL/ eye and it gulps and dissapears into orange sparkles before it can actually ring it.
She looks back to Eilam and waits for signs of concisness.
"I'm awake." he said softly, "Just ... a bit of a harder day than usual." At first he didn't open his eyes, though after several moments he did, looking towards her with the obvious signs of being rather exhausted about him. He did smile, however. "You are certainly worth opening my eyes for. Thank you for coming." reaching up with a bit of effort to the sides of the chair, Eilam grunts softly and pushes himself upright. "You are welcome to sit in the chair nearby and talk, or... with me, though the chair is a bit cozy."
Despite the teasing words, he wasn't even trying to push his luck. Really he was just attempting to offer to let her sit where she likes. His attire today was fairly lazy, actually. He had a plush orange and cream throw blanket tossed over his lower half, and on his top half, well, he had on a loose-fitting thin fabric house robe. Something that was more for decency, likely.
Reiko Touyama smiles a bit and decides to sit in the nearby chair. Because well. Coziness is nice! But oh dear she'd blush to high heaven. She's already blushing as it is. Worth opening her eyes for, etc. Luckily, it's just light and not 'Might aswell be Prism Keeper Red' blush.
"A harder day than usual?" she asks. Reiko is dressed in her normal attire. Not much change here.
"Is something wrong?" she asks as she leans forward. "Specfically or just. One of those days?" she asks with a little concern.
"Also. What are you doing to your yard out there?" she asks sheepishly.
"I may live forever, but I was trapped with my illness. For whatever reason, it still eats away at my strength sometimes. I'll be okay, just... no dancing tonight. I'd apologize with a kiss but you would have to be the one leaning in tonight, haha." The laugh at the end was more of a soft chuckle, relaxing and looking at Reiko quietly for a moment, as she spoke. "As for outside... just adding a bit more color. There is a lot of pink, and it is nice, but it never hurts to have more color. I thought a little bit of orange could be nice near the pink, right? I mean... even if I do not have any orange on me, I can always look out the window and see you're okay if it's still there." He had hoped that sounded less creepy than it could. He totally meant that in a nice way, IE: Knowing you're alright because I can still see orange in the world, but hard to know how others will take such. Then again, it's Reiko. She could take a fish making bubbles as romance, if the fish had long hair.
Bifishoen are handsome, go away. :I
She blushes a bit and huffs. Well guess what! She does in fact, lean down and give Eilam a peck on the cheek. Because she knows that he thought he wasn't going to get it and just get Reiko to blush and do nothing, well, ha! jokes on him!
Somehow.
She does head tilt and blush a bit. "Well..." she says. "Orange is nice. It doesn't look too bad next to pink. Not horrible at least. If we're talking athestics, white would be better. But white also practically goes with everything." she says softly.
Then she says with a blush. "But that's a nice sentiment still the same." she says softly.
"I'm sorry I... made you. Go into a hospital. Like that." she says quietly. "I do appreciate you visiting though." she smiles. "A lot. Even when I wasn't awake!"
The kiss on the cheek made him smile. "Well, yes, white and black go with anything, but who wants colors that are just with anything? So lazy. But you didn't make me go, I wanted to see you, to check on you. You are..." he started to say important to him, but that might come off a bit stronger than intended. "Well, I think you know I like you as it is, Reiko, and it should be implied that you being safe and happy... that is important to me, even if you're the one with the magic, doing all the saving others."
He talked a bit soft, though he seemed to realize this and put in a bit more effort to speak at a bit more normal of a tone.
"I wanted to see you, silly." he paused at that, and decided to simply bring it up. "Though I do need to ask you something. I found out, according to a girl by the name of Amu, that apparently you told at least her about me? About my... condition?" As he asked, Eilam turned his head to stare towards her quietly, waiting for an answer. "Why would you..." he started to say more, but stopped in favor of taking a slow, deep breath and stopping himself from speaking further. He didn't sound angry, somehow, he seemed more disappointed.
Reiko Touyama immediatly sours. "Huh?" she says. "Nrg." she frowns and shakes her head. "It isn't like that! We started talking. About boys. and stuff." she says. "And I mentioned you..." she says. "And she started acting like... you were intent to hurt me.. or harm me.. or something, like using me. For my magic or stuff like that- and I couldn't really..form a good argument that didn't... really... rely on telling her a thing." she mutters.
"She was supposed to keep it a secret just. I got..kind of. Upset." she crosses her arms and rolls her eyes up. "I'm sorry..." she says quietly.
"I'll.. go. Just."
"I know you don't want to hurt me!" she says with a huff! "and I wish people would just belive that if I say it!" she says.
"I shouldn't have to explain who I like and why or defend it..." she mutters. She crosses her arms.
"I'll..leave. If you want...I just..." she mutters. She's a flustered mess suddenly. Embarassment and upset and the like. "You probably don't need this right now."
Eilam rather impassively listened to what she had to say, not interrupting. He let her say her piece, fully, before he moved his arm to rest over the arm of the recliner, hand up, "I asked Kaito to respond to the text message, to invite you here, because I wanted you here. I wanted to see you, because despite what you seem to think, I do still want to see you despite knowing that happened. I found out about it two days past. Yes, I was a bit bothered finding out someone I did not know, or trust, knew things of me. I..."
He paused at that, thinking of what to say. "I would be lying if I said it did not make me uncomfortable still. But I admit it is my... fear of such that has kept me safe for as long as it has. Nothing good has ever come of others finding out about it. Except you." being said good thing. "I trust you. I even... trust your judgment, despite you still being a little inexperienced with life, but at the end of the day, things like that? Terrify me. Because it only takes one mistake to bring my life down on top of me. Others, you... might be safe knowing that even if the worst happens, it will be over one day. I do not have that."
A small sigh came out of him as he said that. "I just wanted to ask you why. You scared me, is all. I do not want to worry you with /why/ it scares me, unless you truly wish to hear, but I am not upset. I would still be happy to hug you anytime, after all. Even if my hugs right now would not be the tightest."
Reiko Touyama frowns and sighs and just leans in and does offer a hug. "No. No, it /was/ stupid of me. Just. I came out of this coma, Hoshi came to get me out of the hospital and I wanted to go immedaitly to get a shake and Amu also just came home from a trip in Europe." she says.
"I didn't tell her you were sick. Just that. You lived for a long time n' stuff." she mutters. She kind of wilts into the chair now. She's upset at herself clearly.
"I'm sorry." is all she can say. "I just. Didn't like. Being told that you had intents to hurt me or insituated as such." she says.
"I hate when people expect the worst of people..." she says quietly.
He did attempt to return the hug, but as he had said, he wasn't able to really squeeze back or anything. "It's okay. I brought it up because I wanted it known that I did know. I'm not hiding stuff from you... and I am trying to be honest with you as well. It has been far too long since I let myself get... attatched to the idea of being around anyone and now that I find myself fond of you, I am trying in my own way. I trust you, okay, Reiko? I trusted you to learn of it... and I am going to have to trust you to not tell anyone that you would not trust anything. If you trust them, though..." there was a moment where he hesitated, "That is good enough for me. I do not want you to pull away from your friends for me, or get upset about me. Okay, Reiko? I am not the jealous type. I am not going to get upset, or angry. The only way I would really be upset with you... is if you tried to hurt me by telling others. But you did not. So... do not worry too much about it." he mumbled something under his breath, to the effect of 'I still l... you.' rather hard to hear if it was like, or love, or something else, but his voice seemed to taper off as he winced, pain seemingly getting the better of him briefly.
Reiko Touyama frowns. "I trust Amu. She's.. she means well at least. Usually. She's the one who gave me my rainbow phone I use sometimes." she says quietly.
She knows Eilam is weak. He doesn't need to return the hug. She seems understanding of this, always has been it seems.
Then he mutters something 'I still L-something you'.
This'll bug Reiko for the rest of the night of what he said because Reiko is why to be embarassed to actually ask right now.
"Just relax." she says quitely to the wince. "I'm not sure if that'll help." she says quietly. "But... trying to relax. Helps when I get hurt bad." she says quietly.
"But I am." Eilam says, eyes closed as he did. "I have been more relaxed ever since I saw you tonight, and that... silly face you make when you get embarrassed. Would you like... mmph." Eilam winced again as he started to slowly work himself upright in the recliner again before digging out his cell phone and pressing a button. "...any dinner? It should be done shortly. I like to... eat unhealthy when I feel bad. Good food... stop my heart, haha, food so fatty it clumps going in. It should have been done about a minute or two ago, the... fish."
