Sakura Kinomoto was sitting at the library then, studying as she went through a small math book. Her homework was out in front of her and... of course, Tomoyo was recording it. "You're supposed to be helping me," Sakura said with a sigh.
"I can't help it, you're just so cute when you're like this, sakura-chan! Working so hard..."
"Stop iitttttt," Sakura blushed, face red. "I'm not that cute..."
"And that just makes you cuter~"
She was so red faced.
The Good news, Its Saturday and even Infinity is not in session today. The Better news? Its Snowing! The Not so good news? Well. She's gotta do some studying. Its not homework. No. Its actually for something more interesting. She wants to try to build a small computer. She seen someone playing Fallout 4 and decided she wanted a real working pipboy! So, in order to do that, she needs to learn about computers.
The young violet haired girl is at the library and has a small stack of books. She is reading through them making notes. Mind she is not much older then Sakura and Tomoyo. She's 12. Quietly she flips through several pages. At least that is how she is studying, until she hears someone making some noise!! She looks up and quickly brings a finger to her lips. "SHHHHH!" Wait a second, Those two look familiar. Thats Sakura! And Tomoyo! She recognizes them from the last fight with Namakelder. Of course she would recognize them but they likely wouldn't recognize her. "Oh hi!" She whispers to them.
Sakura Kinomoto cringed and looked over. "Sorry, sorry," she said softly, shaking her head. "Tomoyo-chan, you're going to get us in trouble."
"It'll be worth it to see your cute face studying..."
Sakura just sighed and shook her head. Her friend was so weird. Then the other girl talked again and she glanced over. "Ummm... hi? Can I help you?" she asked in confusion. Then her eyes glanced to those books. Urk. And here she had trouble even using her smart phone half the time!
Naomi Yomada smiles, "Oh I was just curious about what you were doing. I was just doing some studying. I want to make something cool but I need to learn how to do it." She whispers and then lets out a soft giggle. "I'm Naomi, By the way. May I sit by you both? I think we have a common acquaintance. "
Idly she begins slipping her papers into the bag and gathering the books together just in case she needs to put them away. "I can't believe how much snow we are getting."
Sakura Kinomoto eyed the girl in confusion, but nodded none the less. "Yeah. Feel free. Ummm, someone from school? Oh!" She perked up. "You must go to my brother's school, right?" she asked with a smile. "Is that how you know me? I go by there sometimes! Not often, though. But sometimes to see Yukito-san," she said with a little sigh of love.
Naomi Yomada smiles as she takes the stack of books with her over to sit by Sakura. She sits down and gives a little smile. "OH umm, No. Nothing like that." She pulls out another piece of paper and idly begins drawing something. It only takes a few moments before she sets the little drawing in front of Sakura.
The image is simple. Two lightning bolts intersecting. Its nothing special at all. At least nothing special to anyone who has never seen it. To those who have seen it, They would recognize it as the symbol that Cure Spark makes when she transforms. It also appears when she does her finishing attack.
Naomi gives a friendly smirk and then winks one of her blue eyes playfully. "Curiosity, Sparking the Fires of Creativity..."
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and looked confused, looking between the two. "I... don't get it?" she asked. "Is it some kind of code?"
"Sakura-chan... think hard," tomoyo said with a sigh. "She is so cute when she's oblivious, isn't she?"
Sakura just turned redder as she tried to piece it together.
Then, finally, it clicked. Her eyes went wide and she almost stood up. She looked around, before leaning in. "S-spark... Spark-kun?" she asked softly, whispering to the other girl.
Naomi Yomada smiles softly and pulls out her prechan mirror about half way with five cards, Two marked Cure Spark, Two marked Rock Candy Break Dance, And one that looks like Naomi if she were wrapped in a glowing purple towel with the name Naomi Yomada on it.
She slips them back into her pocket. "Bingo." She giggles a little. "How has your hunt for for cards going?" She asks curiously. "I was just doing some research. I want to make a thing from this video game. I need to learn to do it or I could wind up with a big problem. Like having something blow up on my arm."
Sakura Kinomoto went wide eyed. "W-what? If it's going to... if it's going to put you in so much danger, you shouldn't... you shouldn't risk it! You shouldn't risk getting yourself hurt like that! If it's soemthing that dangerous, you should ask an adult for help."
She shook her head. Then blinked. "I said to the girl with... magic powers. Right. I guess... yeah."
Tomoyo just recorded all of this. One day it would be a movie. You'd see. And all suffer for it.
Naomi Yomada blinks and makes a little face, "I tinker and I blow stuff up all the time!" She giggles a little over that. "Its what I love to do. I want to be an inventor! I want to make all sorts of cool gadgets and gizmos. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Its fun though! Imagine having a computer on your wrist! One that can do all sorts of things! I bet it would be fun!"
She looks over at Tomoyo and snickers, "My name needs erased off of there. I don't think you want the responsibility of knowing who I am if the Phantom Empire comes looking right?" She giggles
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, staring at her. "R-really? Could you make a thing that, say, hit really obnoxious big brothers upside the head every time they got mean?" she asked with a smile.
Tomoyo nodded. "Of course, I'll edit your parts out, don't worry~ I'm just here for Sakura-chan~"
Sakura blushed. "D-don't mind her. She's just exciteable. That's all." Right, that's the word for it.
Naomi Yomada laughs, "Umm I don't think you should come to me for things like that. Last time I did stuff like that I got in a lot of trouble. My sister was being a jerk. I forget what she did but I wanted to get her back! So When the rest of my family went to sleep, I snuck out of my room and into the area where the hot water heater is. I opened it up and put blue dye in it. I wanted to dye my sister's hair blue! I heard someone wake up and put everything back together. I don't think I did it right because the next morning, I got woke up to the sound of a loud BOOM!" She eeps and looks around. "Sorry!"
She covers her mouth and then continues, "My mom was in the shower. The blue hair dye dyed her skin blue. She was blue from head to toe. Then the hot water heater exploded. I was grounded until my mom's skin turned back to it's normal color. I can't believe I made her so mad!" She giggles happily.
Sakura Kinomoto stared at her with wide eyes, a look of horror on her face. "You... you did something like that? But... but that's so dangerous! couldn't she have been really hurt?" Aw, suck a naive girl. "I-I just want... I just kind of wanna smack him a bit for when he's being a big butt head. Not actually hurt him. A-and daddy would be so disappointed in me if I did something like that. A-and Yukito-kun, too..."
She squirmed in place and smiled at the idea. "Would serve him right, though. Ugh, calling me a monster each night..."
Naomi Yomada giggles playfully, "I didn't mean to blow up the hot water heater and The dye wouldn't have hurt my sister. She was being mean so I wanted revenge!" She laughs and idly looking over the notes she took just a little bit a go.
As for a thing to smack your brother with, umm, you already have two of those things! They are your hands silly!" She giggles a little.
Sakura Kinomoto giggles softly. "I-I would never do that! That'd be so mean! I might use the little card on him though!" she grinned, then perked. "O-oh! I got a lot of other cards, here," she said, holding them out. Wow, she was making fast progress. "And I can even, sometimes... sense them. Just a little bit," she whispered. "Kero says I'm getting a lot stronger."
Naomi Yomada smiles, "That is a good thing. I'm glad for ya." She smiles as she looks over the cards. "Thats really awesome!" She hands them back over to Sakura and just sorta goes quiet for a few minutes. She's got a lot on her mind and as much as she wishes it was just about her next invention, its definitely not that.
She snaps out of it for a moment. "Sorry. I am sorta worried. When you make friends with people who want to take away all the goodness in the world. Things get a little freaky. I am looking at what I am going to have to do and well... There is this guy."
Her face begins going white as she speaks. Clearly this guy is not the 'Oooo Dreamy' type. "His name is Phantom. He is the Pretty Cure Hunter. He tracks us down, He takes us away, and we aren't seen again. I spoke with a friend of mine. Cure Gull? We are teammates. Anyway she told me that he takes them to this his own personal grave yard. Remember that mirror that Tomoyo-san was put into? He's got hundreds of those. All with fallen Pretty Cures trapped in them."
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, listening. Then she said that. She dropped the cards and... didn't pick them up. She just let them lay there for a moment.
Then, finally... "Grave... yard. Cure gull? She... I ummm... I... I know cure gull and I..."
She went quiet for a long time.
"Sakura-chan?" Tomoyo asked.
Sakura shook her head. "Can this... he... traps them. Can he.... can he erase them? Erase their... memories and... and the things they'd done... too?" She then paused and shuddered. "If he ever... if he ever comes after you... call me... okay?"
Naomi Yomada takes a deep breath and bites her bottom lip. "I have a feeling that, when the time comes for that fight, that Oresky is not going to play fair. I have a feeling that its going to get seriously messed up. He's a class A jerk who will do anything to prove he is number one."
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "I know. And that's why I have to be there. Why you have to let me help you. Please." She hugs her. "Please. I don't want to lose any more friends..." she whispered gently.
Tomoyo blinked. "Sakura-chan? Lose any more friends?"
Sakura urked, shaking her head. "N-nothing. Nothing. Just... you know. Sometimes when... friends move a-away and all. That's... that's all. Heh."
Naomi Yomada takes a deep breath. "From what I've learned, Non-Precure have had a lot of success with fighting Phantom. He's a real pain. I hope he doesn't show up. I will let you know when things happen. Ideally this will just be between myself an Oresky. Sadly I know his style way too well. I called him out during a fight once. Rather then fighting fair, He called out a bunch of kindabads. I mopped em up and then sorta used my finisher on him." She rubs the back of her head.
"I wish that was the end of it. Some sort of dark energy hit him and fully countered my finishing attack. That is my strongest attack and that happened. I should probably talk to Blue-sama about it and see if he can explain it. All I know is I need to get stronger if I am going to do this."
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, crossing her arms. "So he's... not as good fighting others. Maybe he went for alternate..." She shook her head. "S-sorry. I'm probably sounding weird, aren't I?" She then picked up the cards and blinked. "No, it's fine. Sorry, I didn't mean to drop you," she whispered before putting them away. "If he can't handle them, that's all the more reason to call me, right? I mean, I'm getting lot stronger. I... I even fought and did well. Really."
Naomi Yomada winces a little. "Keep in mind, Kinomoto-san. Even if his magic is not as effective against other types of Magical Girl, He is still very dangerous. I think I really need to meet with Blue-sama though."
She hmms and quietly pulls out what looks like a pink cell phone. She presses the screen a few times and makes the call. "Kami-sama... I need to meet with you. May I drop by the Cross Mirror room soon? I need to learn some things." The soft male voice on the other end sounds very nice. She isn't really talking on it like a normal phone. Its more like a video phone. The man on the other end has Sky Blue hair, Sky blue eyes and is dressed in a white open shirt.
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and looked over, cocking her head to the side. He looked okay, she guessed... granted, if she was to meet him in person and feel his magic... she'd have liked him a lot. Probably.
She glanced down to her homework, working on it and, when done. "Naomi-chan? Would you be able to help me with some of these problems?" she asked. "I mean, if that's okay?"
"Of course, Naomi-chan. You seem a little worried. Are you alright? Who is that with you?"] The man comments in a very kind tone. He looks authentically concerned about her.
"Oh umm, Yes this is Umm Sakura Kinomoto. She is a friend. She is hunting Clow Cards. She wants to help out of Phantom decides to drop in. Yes this sorta has to do with that." Naomi looks a little worried over that.
Blue looks very saddened by the subject of discussion. "Of course, Naomi-chan. You may come by whenever. Remember though, If you do see the Pretty Cure Hunter, Run. Do not fight him." His tone lightens and he looks glances at Sakura, "Hello Kinomoto-san, I hope your hunt is successful."
"Thank you Blue-sama. I will see you soon." She hangs up and looks at Sakura with a smile. "Sure I can help out. That was Blue by the way. God of the Earth..."
Sakura Kinomoto gave the guy a little wave, smiling. "T-thanks," she said softly. "I'll do my very best, hee hee. Blue, huh? He didn't seem very... mmmm hmm," she mumbled, shaking her head. She supposed it was just a title, though.
"So, if I add five pies and then I give away four of them, but then I gain three boxes with six pies each and... it's all so confusing."
