Haruna Kurosawa hasn't been to school. Or answering her phone for the past few days. Corvus likewise, is also unreachable. Both are really odd because Haruna at least calls Hannah once a day- and Corvus usually checks up on Aki and that also hasn't happened. Also. Corvus hasn't been seen online in his game which is really weird because he's on that game for at least five hours minimum a day! EVERYDAY!
Thusly. Haruna's apartment is a small- two room deal. It's not large. It is in a slightly upscale part of Tokyo- but it also isn't a penthouse or anything that fancy. Currently there is a very angry girl with blonde hair who is a little taller than Haruna punching the door with loud thumps. "HARUNA IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR I'M BREAKING IT DOWN!" she calls out. This is Aki Kurosawa. Her sister.
Aki has not noticed the doorbell that's right next to the door. No other apartment has this doorbell in the hallway. In fact, it's never been there before. Hannah will notice- Yuzuki might too if she's visited before.
Nanoha asked Yuuno about tracking Lost Logia. Yuuno gave Nanoha one of a few small baubles that he uses to track Jewel Seeds- and has modified it with the readings Shining Star and Raising Heart provided him. He has given it to Nanoha who in turn has given it to Yuuki.
It eventually starts beeping- then projects a hologram of it's general whereabouts at some point this evening. Nanoha can't be here because she's helping her family cater some party. Nanoha is stern about helping her family and sadly can't join Yuuki tonight. Yuuki knows some others she can bring thou.
Aki begins drawing out her Prechan mirror to begin to honor her promise of breaking the door down. Someone probably wants to stop that.
To say Hannah has been worried would be an understatement. She'd all but paced a groove into her apartment's carpet. There's been a sudden drop in youma presence near WPS through the young woman needing to blow off all the worry and steam. And then finally the great network of Worried Magical Girls connects.
Aki and Hannah have their differences, but Hannah would never discount her love for Haruna. Thus, she lays a steadying hand on Aki. "Don't flip. Something weird is going on here. You know that. I know that. Let's see what is going on." Raging Tempest alerts Hannah, and she presses in the button with her cane. Shrug. Time to give it a try.
"Helllooooo~! Kurosawa residence! This is the super-amazing Hannah-chan coming to say hiiii~!" Surely, /surely/ this will draw either bird or Gull to the front door. There's still that hint of 'I really want to punch the door down too' in her voice.
Yuuki has been on the hunt. When she's not been at home or at school, She's been actively moving through the city with Shining Star. Searching, Hoping to pick up on the readings of the Heart's Desire Lost Logia. It has crushed her already. It left her broken as broken can be. She wants it sealed away so it doesn't hurt anyone else.
The various attempts at traking down the Lost Logia have met with just frustration. When Nanoha gave her the device, courtesy of Yuuno, It made her day. She's held that close and waited. Waited for it to do something. Anything! When it starts going off, She quickly gets ready and grabs the phone.
"Sakura-chan, I think I've got a hit as to where the Lost Logia is. Meet me Down Town!" She states and hangs up. With that she gets dressed to go out and brave the cold. Once out the door, she is moving like a young lady on a mission.
Someone actually seems to have gotten Mikoto to relax, the past couple of days. She's spent the past month or two basically freaking out over the mix of her obsessive research into Midchildan magitech, and the missing Ikuto. It's had her wound tighter than a drum for a long while. Rumors that the incident involved her Familiar, Hikari, and the application of chocolate, alchohol, ice cream, or some combination thereof with other less moral considerations, are Entirely False, of course.
She doesn't have anything particular in mind tonight. She's just on her way over to check on a friend in the neighborhood. It was Hikari's idea, of course. (The bag of Christmas presents slung under her arm was her own idea, though.)
Which is when she gets Hannah's call, summoning her to Haruna's residence. So she drops off her gift packages in a Metro locker, and heads off to join her!
She walks up just in time to see Hannah press the doorbell. "Hey there," she calls quietly, "So, we going in or not?"
Sakura Kinomoto answered and then, a quick call later, she was out and about, with Tomoyo. In fact, when Yuuki arrived downtown, Sakura would be wearing a... rather almost simple, but adorable, red uniform. With Tomoyo besides her, the richer girl's bodyguards already heading out now that sakura was there.
She smiled and bowed. "T-thank you for letting us come, Yuuki-san."
Tomoyo nodded. "Don't worry, I'll just record Sakura-chan so you don't need to worry~"
Sakura sighed and shook her head. Her friend was so silly... "So, where is it?"
Yuzuki Amemori makes her way towards the apartment in question wearing a nice warm coat, a scarf and a dark colored bucketcap pulled down over her eyes. She probably looks suspicious. Or just cold and miserable. Either way! Stepping into the hallway to spot a number of people standing around, this confuses her greatly and she turns on her heels to look behind her, then above her to make sure there's not a set going on or something.
She cautiously raises a hand up and says, "Hi?" while giving the group a curious look. As an afterthought, she tugs the scarf down so that she's at least visible. Which means at least one person in the group will recognize her, if not more! Maybe.
Aki Kurosawa has shoved her cards into the mirror and is about to spin the jewel on the mirror when Hannah stops her. She blinks and frowns. "If you have anything to do with this, you know I'm going to punch you in the gut, right?" she asks Hannah.
Aki looks over to Yuzuki and takes a deep breath. "Hey Yuzu." she says. She glances over Mikoto and blinks a bit before looking back to the door.
Hannah rings a doorbell because of course the blind girl notices the doorbell before Aki can. "Huh?" she blinks.
~ding dong~
The door opens. There stands a woman who seems to be somewhere in her late fourties. She shares similarities with Haruna and Aki. She's currently dressed in a dress of some sort, red- with a black skirt.
Aki seems to sort of stares and goes: "What...?"
"Oh! You're home early Aki-chan. Hello Hannah-chan.... and Yuzuki-chan! and... mmmm. I don't think I know you..." she says at Mikoto. (Hannah has never seen this woman in her life. Neither has Yuzuki during her last visit.). "....Haruna-chan is upstairs working on some sort of craft project. I'll call her down! Iwao is in the den, watching TV as usual~" she says a little teasingly.
Aki blinks. "Mom... what are you doing here!? And--- ups-----" she goes ahead and steps in and the apartment has changed into some sort of multilevel house inside. This is supposed to be a two room apartment. This is a large house.
Aki sort of trails off and gives Hannah a frown-- as she leans over and whispers. "This is insane. This is our old home. It isn't even /in/ Tokyo." she whispers.
Aki and Haruna's Mom calls Haruna down. Haruna arrives! She looks perfectly normal and fine. "Hannah! Miko! Yuzuki! Aki! Hi!" a pause.
"Why are you all here. Is something up?" she asks.
Aki remains confused. "Uh...."
Haruna seems to take a short running walk over to Hannah and gives her a hug. "Ugh. I had such an awful dream." she says.
"If you're here to spoil my daughter more you can leave right the way you came." says Haruna's Dad from the den.
Haruna rolls her eyes. "Don't mind dad. He's just grumpy his soccer team lost."
Haruna doesn't seem to this is weird at all.
Yuuki and Sakura can trace the signal to Haruna's apartment. It's the same signal that was at Yuuki's place.
Haruna has friends. A whole /pile/ of friends. Some she recognizes, some she doesn't. Still, the young woman raises a hand in greetings. She winks over her shoulder. That confident, cocky gaze.
It's entirely at odds with her churning stomach and how the very air tastes a bit like ash in her mouth. Something feels wrong that her brain isn't quite catching on to. R.T.'s feeling the same way in more Device-like ways.
"Aki, there's a pipe with my skull's name on it if this is my fault."
Hannah goes silent as a woman opens the door. That voice...she's never met this woman in her life. Her head tilts just a little. And then, she slowly breaks into a very, very forced smile.
"Miss...Kurosawa. Good to see you again! Did you enjoy that new recipie?"
Whisper whisper to Aki and the group at large.
"I don't know these people. Guard up. Could be youma."
Aki helps fill in the blanks. Well, one thing is real. Hannah all but catches Haruna and flashes her a look of utter confusion and concern. She squeezes just a bit. Hands roam on shoulders, just to make sure it's the Gull she knows and loves. And that there's nothing evil attached to her.
Smile. Smiiiile. She mentally commands R.T. to start doing a scan of the area. It's a weak one though, given she's not in henshin.
"Heeeey Haruna! We all came for the sleepover, remember? Why don't we all go upstairs! Lead the way, Haruna." Her voice is a little forceful. Her head beckons everyone else!
Mikoto has never met Haruna's family. (Except for Hannah and Aki, of course. And Corvus.) So she certainly wouldn't recognize this woman. But she does trust Hannah to know them - or not, as the case may be. She nods briefly to the white-haired girl at the news.
"Thank you so much for hosting us tonight, Kurosawa-san. Its' really very generous of you." She flashes a brilliant smile at the woman, and waves cheerily. "Don't worry, we won't make a lot of noise."
She leaves the 'checking Haruna for trouble' to Hannah, who knows her best, and sets Carnwennan - her own Device - to its own passive, well-stealthed scans. (The joys of having a Belkan Supercommando's Device. Almost as good as Mandalorian.)
Yuuki Oshiro smiles to Sakura and Tomoyo, "Nice look Sakura-chan. Thank you Tomoyo-chan." She looks at the device and it quickly shows the source of the signal again. She turns and points to the building. "Thats where it is. We have to move. I think it's got someone. Its the only way we'd be picking up on it." She frowns and looks around. Busy Evening is busy! "Okay I think I need to do the thing." She winces.
Quickly she closes her eyes tight. Her mind formulating the spell that She's seen and done more then a few times. Though this time she's gotta do something much bigger then she's done before. "Magical.. Radiant... BARRIER!" She holds her fist in her hand as she casts the spell. A violet magical circle forms under her and the magic begins extending outward quickly. She's dumping a good deal of mana into this spell and its clear that she is definitely not as talented with barriers and fields as Yuuno is. A few moments pass and the barrier begins encompassing the whole of the building. She keeps it up, making sure the whole thing is covered. Top to bottom. Finally she stops and begins panting in exhausted.
About a minute passes before Yuuki recoups. She smiles a little to Sakura. "Umm... I think it would be a good idea to power up." She takes Shining star off her wrist and begins speaking, "Shining Star,Set up!" Her and the device speak the command in unison as violet light dances around her. Her clothing vanishes only to be replaced by her Barrier jacket. Shining Star changes to Staff Mode which she takes hold of, clinging to it. Finally things fade leaving the Mage looking a bit more proper.
"Okay looks like we need to get up to the right floor. You ready for this Sakura-chan?"
Sakura Kinomoto gasped, staring at the building. "You... you did so much," she whispered. "You're so strong, Yuuki-san!" She said before holding out her key. "Key that holds the powers of darkness. I, Sakura, command you under our contract. Release!" The key formed into her great wand.
She then nodded. "I'm ready. Should we take the stairs? If we need to float up..." She pulled out the float card, holding it up. If requested, she'd simply float them up. Then they could use the through card to just phase through the walls! With a little bit of difficulty.
Yuzuki Amemori holds her hand up and waves to someone she doesn't quite recognize, but she doesn't let that slow her down. It's not the weirdest thing she's seen after all! She presses into the small crowd gathered in the hallway and unzips her coat, leaving it on otherwise for the time being while she puts her hands in her pockets. she doesn't henshin right away herself, figuring if push comes to shove, she can literally shove to make some space. Besides, maybe something else is up and a big armored samurai with a penchant for very loud things would just be in the way.
However, she does use the benefit that her eyes are shaded to look around more closely. Relying on looking like a half asleep teen, maybe worse. The fact that she really is a half asleep teen isn't the point right now though! Eventually she steps to the side, keeping them all in line of sight with the idea that she'll quickly henshin and try a bowling ball approach if it is a youma thing.
Aki Kurosawa whispers back to Hannah. "/These are my parents/." she says. "/This doesn't make any damn sense!" she says. A pause. "...Haruna did tell you? Right. About. Stuff." she says a little shamefully- she makes sure Yuzuki can hear the whispering too.
Haruna seems to be all right. It feels like her. There's nothing like Dark Energy seeping into her or out of her. Her PreChan mirror is in her right pocket where it usually is.
"Recipie? Oh. You mean the pulled pork. Yes. Iwao liked it- I think at least." she says. Yeah. Whatever this thing in- it's filling in the gaps suggested to it.
Raging Tempest and Carnwenan do scans. There's... something here. This place isn't real. It can detect that much. But it can't detect what's beyond it. They DO appear to still be in the same place spatially at least-- downtown Tokyo. So they weren't teleported or in some sort of strange pocket dimension. It seems to feel a lot like a barrier of some sort on some levels- but it's different.
"Sleepover?" she asks between the others. "Did I....? Oh! I must have.. forgot..." she grumbles. "I'll-- um! Yes! Let's go upstairs I need to clean my room suddenly now." she says sheepishly.
Up the stairs into Haruna's Room!
Haruna's room is a pretty spacious room- done in teal green with some sort of seagulls flying border around the top edges. There's a window overlooking some ocean that is /not/ Tokyo's beachline. There's some flowers growing in a box. There's a messy desk with half-made hairclips. There's clothes everywhere. There's lots and lots of books in a bookcase. Some are knocked over into the floor. Haruna begins busying herself cleaning.
"...Anyways. I dreamed like that... Mom and Dad hated me and stuff?" she says. "Because... you know I like girls?" she says with a blush. "...and ugh.. it was pretty awful." she says. "But that's super silly." she giggles. "Mom and Dad love ya, Hannah-chan! Except maybe dad but you know. He's Grumpy dumpy~" she leans in. "Let's just go to the Arcade later on the next date." she slyly whispers with a grin and a short peck to the cheek.
She continues cleaning. Aki looks around.
"Okay." she says more loudly. "This isn't right. Everything is wrong." she says. "Where's Corvus?"
"...huh?" Haruna asks. Aki says. "You know. Corvus. Talking seagull? Kinda used to be a jerk?" she says.
"....Seagulls can't talk silly." says Haruna with a short giggle. "They're just cute."
Yuuki and Sakura's Barrier goes up. It isolates the apartment building. It doesn't seem to affect the illusionary world in Haruna's apartment. The sky /does/ seem to flash a bright purple of a sudden just for a second- out the window.
Yuuki nods, "Sounds good. I'll fly up and meet you there. THen we can use your card to get in." She lifts off, moving quickly to the proper apartment. Once there, She waits, letting Sakura do her thing.
Hannah will certainly take Yuzuki's help. This definitely earns her Hannah points. She makes a mental note for introductions after all this is over.
Mikoto gets to work, too, and she offers a nod to the woman. That Device isn't to be underestimated, and it's good to have a second set of potential eyes.
That very, very brittle smile remains on Hannah's face until they're up the stairs and Haruna is briefly cleaning the room. She uses it to confer with Aki and everyone in hushed tones!
"Yeah, I know. No way your parents would be so...accepting of her and I. Something's done this. It's definitely an illusion." Her fist balls up. Enough that her palms bleed.
"This is a sick joke on Haruna, and when I find out what's causing it I'm gonna throw them through at least two skyscrapers."
Into the room they go. Hannah runs a hand along a wall, taps her cane along various things. She finds the bed with some hunting and a stumble, and sits down.
Why is Hannah's eyes suddenly filled with tears. She grimaces, and wipes them away.
"So...you mean your pet isn't here, Haruna? You know, pet bird." Hannah tries hopefully. Every word has her wincing. No. Haruna's parents would never do that.
"Yeah. Arcade." Hannah's up, standing between the direction of that barrier and Haruna. Just in case.
"So, uhhh...when was the last time you saw me, Haruna? I can't remember." Time to try to piece this puzzle together.
Sakura Kinomoto nodded and used the float card, making her and Tomoyo fly up to the wall. However, once there... they'd both have to hold onto Yuuki's hand so they could dangle, then use the through card to go through the wall. At which point they could just tumble through the wall, with a shriek. Sakura on the bottom, Yuuki on top and... Tomoyo managing to land gracefully on the very top. Perfectly smooth, looking around. Sakura eeped and looked around. "Errr... H-hi?" she said softly.
Tomoyo got off gracefully, turning to record the whole thing. "Oh Sakura-chan, you are so cute when you land like that~' Now was REALLY not the time.
Mikoto offers Hannah a quiet nod as they walk deeper into the house. "I'll keep an eye out," she murmurs, and sets a miniaturized Wide Area Search sphere on the doorframe as they all walk into the bedroom. It's tiny, hard to see, and should at least see or hear enough to give them warning if something approaches. Unless it is stealthed as well, of course.
"No bird? Hikari will be so disappointed. She always loves playing games with Corvus. You know how they can get." She finds a mostly-clean place to sit, refraining from comment on some of the clothing items Haruna is busy putting away despite her mental critique of their fashionability (or lack thereof).
"The arcade's good. I hear there's a boardgame cafe in Uminari, if you want something a little quieter. Just opened, I'm checking it out tomorrow."
Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times as she is suddenly inside a very serene setting. It was very familiar to her. No it wasn't the same look. It wasn't the same place at all. It was however the same magic. It pained her so much. Her gaze falls on the the small group in the bedroom of Haruna. "Umm. Tomoyo-chan. You need to get up now. You can gush over Sakura later."
As Tomoyo gets off her, She in turn gets off Sakura and promptly begins looking at the various people present. "Err. Hi. Sorry to just drop in..." Her gaze falls on Hannah, "Oh hi! Good to see you again."
She quickly begins looking around the room for the source of the reading. "This is the place."
Yuzuki Amemori looks around while saying, "No, totally met the talking seagull. He was there when we were talking to whatshisface that wanted to play with my laptop and I thought it was strange remember? You were jogging? I was teasing you about the beach, he was there too?" What, she'll try for the obvious for now. She's still standing off to the side, though she's at least lifted her hat up so she's got a better view. "Getting a very Stepford feel here." she offers to no one in particular. Maybe she's logging it as a joke for later?
She settles down against.... anything convenient really once they get to the room, figuring it's as good as anything at this point. "Are you doing alright Haru?" she asks while leaning forward, trying to get a better look and desperately wishing she had more magical power for sensing things.
Hannah seems to be holding back tears. "I..is something wrong?" asks Haruna. "I didn't do anything wrong did I!?" she asks. She blinks. "Pet...bird?" yeah she can't seem to remember Corvus and /that's/ a big deal.
She blinks between Aki and Hannah and Mikoto.
"Uh.. look. I don't know any seagulls personally. Not one that talks and besides. Why the heck would someone name a seagull after a crow!?"
Aki sort of twitches. She doesn't really have the heart to start saying this fake and something is messing with Haruna's perceptions and potentially her memory it seems.
Apparently neither does Hannah.
Haruna's clothes are a mix between 'Awesomely fashionable' to 'would not be caught dead outside in it'.
Haruna seems to sit there questioning a bit when then Yuzuki also says the bird was real. "I swear you're all nuts!" she huffs and crosses her arms.
Then Sakura and Yuuki crash in.
And there's a weird, glowing hole where they barged in on. And it /cracks/ reality around it-- right down the walls. Down the floors and the room flares a bright teal green.
Haruna seems to twitch a bit. "Aha-- that didn't.. just happen! That didn't happen. I swear to god I'm going crazy! I'm going to go get mom and dad." she says in a sort of... crazed unhinged manner. Yeah someone probably also wants to stop that before she leaves the room.
Hannah, as on edge as she feels, can't help but feel a touch relieved. She'd vaguely caught Miko setting something out. Extra pair indeed! Really, she doesn't pay Miko enough.
ARms cross. "Board games are for boring people! We should go to the gym next time!" This is less trying to jog Haruna out of things, and more a very Hannah suggestion. Nod nod nod. Cough. Mind back to business, White-san!
Suddenly, it's Yuuki and Saku-chan and a Tomo! Their appearance actually startles the young woman. She's already on edge, what with all of this happening and Haruna /not able to remember Corvus/. Thankfully, the time for subtlety is past. Yuzuki has the right of it. Especially as reality rips itself a new one where Sakura, Yuuki and Tomo burst in!
"Owe you one, guys!"
Then Hannah's pretty much bull-charging Haruna to physically crash into her back and try to haul her to the ground. Arms latch around, and she's pretty much wrestling and trying to pin the poor girl!
"Alright, that's it, no more Miss Nice Magical Girl Troupe! Haruna Kurosawa, listen to me! This is all some sick illusion! Yeah, I know this probably feels like heaven. But what it is, is just a dream! A good one. There's no...I've never met your parents, Haruna. You don't...they don't....nnngh. This is all a torturous lie! You live with your sister! Just you two! Your parents are a pair of jerks, and you're a former dark magical girl called Scorn that become Cure Gull! That's how we met! That's how Corvus became your friend!"
A desperate look back to the others. She needs backup!
Mikoto offers Hannah a look, as the other girl disdains her offer of boardgames. They are far from boring, thank you! "So, I guess I'm boring to you, Hannah? That explains so much..."
And then there are kids bursting in through ... not the wall? Yeah, that makes so much sense. More so than there being a two-story house in a small apartment.
She gets to her feet and steps over to lean against the door, while Hannah has Haruna distracted. "Listen to your girlfriend, 'runa. Has she ever lead you wrong?" Well, okay, maybe once or twice. Still. She tries.
"Time to wake up."
"Shining Star! See if you can find it!" Yuuki states as she looks over at Haruna. "Oh so you're the one." She frowns and moves over to her. "You had a really bad dream recently didn't you?"
The young girl is a little saddened. She hates what she has to do in this case. "My name is Yuuki. I had a dream just like yours. In that dream bad things happened and when you woke up, everything was perfect. Its what you want more then anything so you want it to be real. I did the same thing." She sighs. "Listen. All of this is an illusion. There is a lost Logia here in this room. Its causing you to believe you are in your heart's desire. That dream. It was real. It's feeding off your magic! You have to let go of it. I'm sorry. But you have to!"
< Target Located. Sister, Prepare to engage. > Shining Star states to Yuuki.
Yuuki stands and turns, looking where she's being guided. She still can't see it. "Shining Star, The illusion is still too strong. I can't see it."
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and then slowly got up. She paused and looked around. she didn't know what to do here, now. But her sempai needed her help! She slowly got to her foot and looked around, then looked to Hannah man handling the girl. She took a deep breath. Well, she'd apparently done this one.
She walked forward, moving to block Haruna's way, before kneeling down. "I... I forgot you once, Haruna-sempai. Have you forgotten me?" she asked softly, before holding her hand out to her. "You said... you said once when... when bad things were happening to you. My voice helped to call you back. Well... well bad things are happening to you again and... and I'm calling out to you. Again. None of this is real. It's just a... really good dream. But you can't live in a dream. No matter how badly you want to. No matter how good it feels. You have to wake up. You have to fight back against it. Life is hard sometimes, sometimes it can even make you miserable. But... but you're not alone. You have friends and family. You have Me, and Hannah-sempai, and the other cures, and I think Blue, and your little sea gull. So... so you need to wake up. Please."
She gently put her hand over Haruna's. "Everything will definitely be alright."
Yuzuki Amemori cants her head towards Yuuki as she talks about the fact that this is a dream. There's a muttered, 'huh.' as she calmly steps between the doorway and Haruna while everyone else moves to tackle her. Especially since two younger girls just broke reality. There's a few moments of looking around like she expects to see someone. She even hangs onto the door frame and leans back to look in the hallway while asking, "Hakuomaru?" before adding in an undertone, 'The original' like she expects the others to notice. It's just cover!
Leaning back forward, she asks, "A waking dream?" Just to confirm. She holds her position by the door, though she crouches down with her arms resting against her knees. "Haruna, you shouldn't try to escape like this. You'll never get anywhere trapping yourself." She inches forward while asking, "Come on, you've got a hollow room full of real friends here." There's already a dogpile so she doesn't add to it yet, but she is right there by the time she's done.
Aki Kurosawa was more or less about to do what Hannah was about to do and in ways she's glad Hannah got to it first. (So she didn't have to.) and in some ways upset she got there first. (Because Aki remembers a lot of that day a lot when they left.).
"W--wha-- no! That's a lie! None of that happened!" she insists.
The world cracks even more. Aki frowns. "Don't you remember...? How we ran away?" she asks. "Because Mom and Dad...."
"THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!" screams Haruna. She's actively trying to push Hannah off now. "Mom-- and Dad Love me! No matter what!" she insists.
A crack in reality spits Corvus out and the seagull skids along the floor. "OH SWEET SKYGOD I CAN BREATHE AGAIN!" he insists.
The sound of Corvus's voice only makes Haruna fight a little further.
Yuuki insists this is a dream. Everyone is insisting it's a dream.
"THIS. ISN'T. A DREAM. LEAVE. ME. ALONE!" she seethes.
Then Sakura comes in-- and she twitches. Sakura's voice seems to recall a memory. Of being on a roof. And feeling ashamed because....
"No--nonono. That's not /true/." she says. But she's fighting less-- and less- and the world's starting to crack and pieces are literarly now falling off and disspating into shattering bits of crystal.
"It's not true! /I want it to be true!/." she insists.
< Hey now! > says the Ininfity-shaped form of Unity Loop that seems to pop back into existence. < Are you gonna let some jerk Lost Logia use you like this! Friends are here! Hiiii Friends! > says Unity Loop spastically. It begins to immediatly and annoyingly start to Ping Raging Tempest, Mikoto's Device and Shining Star. Bing bing bing bing bing bing! bingbingbing!
Haruna has weird Lost Logia friends apparently.
The last piece of the world seems to fall revealing!----
Haruna's perfeclty normal apartment with no one else around. It's not a mess.
Haruna is sort of a crying mess because she isn't saying anything else right now. Yeah she's gonna need a moment.
Maybe two. Or maybe even twelve at this rate.
Mikoto would find a book suddenly flying in her general direction. Followed by a rude gesture. "Oh, shut it, Miko! I'm teasing." Mmmph! Tongue-stick!
Everyone piles on. Most far less physically than Hannah, but sh'es okay with that. And all throughout, Hannah is gripping like a really annoying leech. She even reaches, and bonks Gull on the head!
"Listen! Open up those ears and stop dreaming like a kid! This is reality! And it sucks! But guess what? Look at how many people are here today? You know why? BECAUSE WE'RE ALL FREAKED OUT THAT YOU'VE BEEN MISSING YOU IDIOT! I haven't slept in three days! I haven't been able to hug or cuddle my Haruna-chan! And here you are living in dream land, with...with Corvus /stuck in a bloody dimensional wall/! You better apologize or I'm not cooking for you for a month!" Howls Hannah. The others have burnt the reality in, now ti's time to emotionally throw down. Her wrestling soon becomes outright hugging as she buries her face in Haruna's shoulder. She sobs outright.
"Come on. Come back to me. Come back to all of us, Haruna! I...If you didn't, I wouldn't be able to take it! I love you and I miss you you big idiot! And your stupid bird!"
Raging Tempest puts up with all the pinging. Her Master isn't in a good spot either.
Oh yeah, Hannah isn't going anywhere. Haruna gets all the time she needs. Hannah doesn't pull away, but still pipes up.
"G...get in here, all of you! Don't you see she needs friends right now?" Comes Hannah, weeping shamelessly.
The book flying at Mikoto bounces off... a Belkan spell-glyph that forms in mid-air. Helpful things, Devices. "Then come play a few games sometime." She actually sticks her tongue out at the girl. That's ... rather extreme, for her.
"And bring your girlfriend." She grins as Hannah hugs Haruna close. "C'mon, 'runa, you trust us, don't you? Believe in us. We care about you. We're your friends. We believe in you.
It's actually kind of hard for her to say anything further, here, since she knows that being dragged back to reality will just be hurtful for Haruna... that's the insidious thing about dream worlds. You don't want to leave, and it hurts your friends to make you leave.
"Look at all the people who came to help, Haruna-chan. We're here for you. Because you matter to us. And we don't want to lose you to some... illusion."
Yuuki looks at Haruna and winces, "We've never met. But no one should ever faced with this. Its not real, Haruna-san. I'm so sorry. I wish it was. Its all an illusion."
She gives a soft sigh. The illusion falls. Thats exactly what needed to happen. Suddenly she can see the Ruby necklace and she smirks."
< Target Acquired. > Shining Star states in a confident tone.
That is exactly what Yuuki needed to hear. "Shining Star, Ranged Mode!" < Ranged Mode. > Quickly the staff shifts it's form to that of a Bow. The girl gets ready to fight. She quickly calls out, "Shooting Star!" The command is echoed with Shining Star's words, < Shooting Star! > She draws back the bow and a magical star forms. She twirls and fires off the magic. Its definitely a strong attack and it goes sailing at the necklace in an attempt to weaken it.
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, still holding Haruna's hand. And then. The blush started in her chin and slowwwwwwly began to rise up. She pulled back, her eyes wide. 'H-h-h-h-h-hannah-sempai a-a-a-a-and Haruna-s-s-s-s-sempai? You two... you two are DATING? o-oh my gosh why didn't you tell me oh my gosh oh my gosh h-have you two held each other's hands d-do you two hug? O-o-oh h-h-h-h-have you two... ummm... h-have you two even..."
"Kissed?" Tomoyo asked.
"KYAAAAAAA!" Sakura covered her face with both hands, so red steam was practically rising off it.
"Oh, Sakura-chan, you're so cute when you're embarrassed!"
Sakura looked away, trying to focus on something, ANYTHING other than, well, this new information. And there it was! A distraction! She drew the arrow card. "H-h-help Yuuki-san!" And then the chain gun of arrows shot out at the necklace!
Yuzuki Amemori looks super confused about the mention of loogies. "She holds a finger up and is about to ask about that, when she decides her note taking on the magical oddities can wait. She's going to get back to Seishi about that 'So you're new to magic' guide book. Instead, she sits down next to Hannah and Haruna and leans over, not trying to pile into a dog pile hug, but eventually she shrugs and gives both girls a hug. What, they both clearly need one. Even if it's from a sleepy eyed friend. She awkwardly stops after a moment and leans back, looking wildly out of place. There's a reason her stage persona has a mask!
She gives into the urge to poke Haruna gently and says, "Come on, we're worried about you." then suddenly explosions. This gets her awake briefly and she lifts the brim of her hat up and quickly questions, "Hu-what?" half-way to a scrambled attempt at standing up. She gets to her feet successfully and starts to reach out, grasping a red string that appeared and yanking, leaving her changed into a heavy set of armor before it catches up that it's the girls attacking and not anything else. But hey, she has a mask now!
Haruna Kurosawa would answer that question where she not in the middle of crying. And she doesn't want to leave this dream in her head. Nonononono.....!
A magical necklace makes itself known. Yuuki and Sakura know what to do and with a blast and shatter of more magic-- it dissapates and the rest of the hold on Haruna goes ahead and melts away.
Things are fuzzy. She's still crying.
"I j--just..." she mutters. "Your parents... are so accepting of you and me... and just...want you to be happy..." she says. "My parents... don't care... and beat me out of home with Aki." she mutters under her breath. But everyone can hear it of course.
"I want that so bad." she sniffs.
Oh Corvus is over big time. Flap flap flap flap. He sort of hugs against Haruna's head. Unity Loop is more than happen to spin around overhead. This is Unity Loops idea of helping- running around like a cat on fire.
Friends are here! and this helps a lot. She does sniff a little. "I feel hungry...and tired...." she mutters softly. Of course she does because illusionary food isn't real. Among other things.
She calming down a little. She's still crying. But she's talking. "That was so real..." she says softly. "It was really like they were there, you know?.. Caring and stuff.. but.. no. They're still jerks...and will always be jerks and---" she just sniffs a bit and holds onto one of Hannah's hands.
"S-sorry, Yuzu-chan.. you don't need to deal with this..if you don't want to.. board games are fun...Miko...I think..maybe..." yeah her mind is very swimmy right now.
"Unity Loop can you calm down please?"
< Awwwwwwww. >
"Corvus I love you and love you and I'm sorry I forgot you and I dunno what happened but I'm sorry and I hate myself right now." Corvus shakes his head. "Nah-uh. You don't need to say you're sorry. I dunno what that was but... just don't put me in a tiny box for like a while." he insists.
She squeeeeeze Hannah's hand. "I love you Hannah-chan. I'm sorry. I--I didn't... It just... felt... good and... I dunno..." she says meekly.
Sniffle. Sniffle sniffle. "You...you nerd Miko. I'll even play /Settlers of Catan/ with you after this." Pthhhhh. Go handkerchief.
"...It better be Space Hulk. Corvus would like that." Her grin is amidst a sea of tears. And no, for once, Hannah doesn't care.
Explosions. Yuuki winds up, and attempts to Bow that thing to death. It's music to Hannah's ears right now. She's too emotionally wiped to be able to henshin. And the only cure is love and hugs.
Yuzuki is in on it, and Hannah pulls her into a tight hug too! Squeeeeeeze! And a swat on the back. "I...I owe you." She mutters amidst more dampening of Haruna-shirt.
But Sakura has her laughing. Laugh-crying. It's a little weird, and Hannah's overwhelmed, but she /tries/ for the sake of her kohai! "You bet your cute cap! Haruna is the best hugger and hand holder and...err, we'll talk about kissing when you're older kiddo!" She'll take the blush right now. Hannah could use it.
Somewhere in the back of her mind, that amulet flies off. She knows it. Hannah can't hate right now. She'll save that for later. Instead, it's all Haruna.
"Hey! Okay, so I can't say you're wrong. Maybe they won't. But...Aki, back me up here! We're gonna try, Haruna. We're gonna try to make those...they're blinder than I am! So you, me, Aki...anybody who wants to is gonna march on over there! We're gonna show your parents just how much you love me, and I love you, and /everyone/ cares about you! And if they can't realize they're the MOST GIGANTIC IDIOTS IN THE UNIVERSE and beg for forgiveness for you and Aki, then screw 'em! Because you've got friends, you've got an amazing sister, and Corvus, and me, and everybody!"
By now, even Hannah's out of breath, she's tired, and just wants to hug and go to sleep. So she pretty much just flops into Haruna's arms. "I love you too, Haruna. It's okay. It's okay. You're okay now." She whispers.
The gaze that everyone else gets is full of tears and the kind of slightly desperate look one gets when they've had their loved one saved. She can't even find the words, other than have R.T. scan each and every one of them to burn their voices and presences into her brain.
And then there are Explosions. Mikoto blinks and looks up, another shield already forming... but no, it's just the kids. Some magical girls she hasn't met, and one she has. "Hey, koneko-chan. Come looking for something?" She smiles and waves to Yuuki.
Then she gets up and walks over to squeeze Haruna's shoulder. "I'm with you on that, Hannah. Call me if you need anything. 'runa, if you need a place to crash and Hannah's busy, you know where to find me." She squeezes again, then wraps her arms briefly around both for a warm squeeze. "So be good."
And she steps back to take a seat on mid-air near the door. (Cheaty flier!) "So, what brings the Brigade visiting?" she asks of Yuuki.
Yuuki blinks a few times as the Logia vanishes. "Darn it!" She frowns. "It got away again." She hangs her head, Shaking it. She rubs her head. "Shining Star, Any sign of it." She pulls out the locater device. Nothing. No sign of it anywhere.
< There is no sign of the Lost Logia. It appears that the item teleported. > The device responds.
She closes her eyes tight and turns to look towards to Sakura first and frowns, shrugging. "Well. We took a shot at it." She turns to look at the others. "I'm sorry." She frowns. Her gaze goes to Haruna. There is nothing she can really say to her. "I'm sorry. I know how it feels to be pulled out of your biggest desire. It hurts so bad. If you need someone to talk to, You can talk to me. I'm really sorry."
Her attention goes to Mikoto and she laughs a little. "That Illusion was created by a Lost Logia. It gives the person the illusion of their Heart's Desire while feeding off their magic. Its very hard to track."
Sakura Kinomoto squeaked, her cheeks going even redder as she stared. They were all, but then they, and there were. "O-oh my gosh, t-they are, o-oh, I ummmm... W-we should go! yes! now, let's go!" She took Yuuki's hand. "Because, they're going to, ummm, I mean, they are acting all, well, they're, and they, p-privacy, a-and they, ummm, maybe we should go?" Her cheeks could not possibly get any redder.
And then her eyes turned back to Haruna. "Maybe one day you and Yukito-kun will be like that," Tomoyo offered. And sakura's cheeks managed to, despite all possibities, get REDDER! She shrieked, tugging even more on the hand, unable to even speak after that particular tease.
Yuzuki Amemori stands there looking awkward in a semi-heroic pose, wearing a full suit of samurai armor. Then she stops, adjusts her mask and turns sharply on her heels. The armor is gone as quickly as it was there and she tugs the hat over her eyes again while murmuring something like good grief. She nods to Sakura and reaches out to ruffle her hair as she grows rather red, "Come on." She offers both, looking to the others she adds slightly more confidently, "I'm sure there's the a cafe closeby that we can use to give them some time together- close enough we can be there to help?" Only a touch of confidence. She's out of her element here!
