"Fishy, Fishy Fishy o/~" sang Reiko melodically- not very well, mind you, as she held up an orange fish plush that seemed to be modeled after a magikarp from Pokemon, which might aswell be a koi. She spun around. "Oh fishy fishy come home with meeeee~"

A magical koi popped into existence near her left shoulder. It stuck earmuffs on. Looks satisfied, then poofed away into sparkles. The koi must not be a fan of her singing.

She actually notices this one. "Why... I never! I'm not /that/ bad!... maybe I outta just keep to drawing..." she blushes and huffs.

Then her eyes traced over to a wolf plush. She began to walk towards that direction.

".....I wonder if they have one in Ikiko's colors...." she asked to no one in particular.

Window-shopping is often a fun way to spend an afternoon, especially when you have a little money and you want to make sure that you get something really neat. And what better place to look than Twin Bells, with its wide varieties of plushes and other toys?

She walks in the door, smiling to Miss Matsumoto as the bells on the door chime. A flicker of orange catches Ikiko's eye; from the brief glance she was able to get, it appeared to be a koi poofing away. So Reiko's probably nearby, although she's not sure why it looked like the koi had earmuffs.

She walks over, arriving near the younger girl just in time to hear the question. "One what?" Ikiko asks from behind Reiko.

Reiko Touyama stops in front of the wolf and canine plushes. The only wolfs they have are in grey. There's some dog plush that is nearly Ikiko's color. But Ikiko isn't a Cute Dog Tsukiko! She's a Cute /Wolf/ Tsukiko! She seems kind of sad. Maybe she can get Miss Matsumoto for a special order for a certain color....

Oh! Think of the devil and she appears!? She beams and smiles to Ikiko. "Ikiko!~" she says.

"Oh! I was.. um.. looking for a plush in your color." she says vaugely. "But they only have wolves in grey!" she huffs. She holds forth her Magikarp plush. "They had these back in stock!~ I didn't have my allowance last time I saw them, and when I came back.... they were all sold out." she says with a curt nod.

"But I got one now!" she beams.

".... Do you like Plushies Ikiko? Or are you here for the cards?"

Ikiko Hisakata smiles. "I like plushies, and I do have a few at home," she nods. "I'm not one of those people who has an entire room full of plushies, but I do like them." There's even one or two that she curls up with when she's having a bad night, but she hasn't done that in... about a month, actually.

She looks at the wolves, then glances over at the dogs. "I do have a more domesticated color pattern, don't I," she admits sheepishly. "I think that's what happens when the wolf spirit is that outnumbered for so long." The thought that her werewolf heritage might be more tractable than originally believed brings a small smile to her face.

She takes a closer look at Reiko's plushie, then nods approvingly. "Looks nice and huggable," she notes. "Not quite as cute as your usual koi, but certainly easier to hug." How well a plushie can be hugged is an important trait, after all!

Reiko Touyama beams. "Yup! I.. uh. I have a lot of koi plush. And fish plush. Actually. Grandpa calls my room.. the aquarium." she blushes. "But! I have names for them all! I know they're just... toys. But They're my friends too!" she huffs. She won't have anyone try to tell her otherwise, ever!

"Yeah, you do I guess. I mean. I guess. When I think wolves I think. Gray?" she asks. She huffs. "Ah---I'm sorry. I know you're not gray." she says softly.

She pauses a bit. "Ikiko... have you ever been... um. Did you ever find yourself in some sort crazy dimension and everything looked like paper cutouts, but weirder and surreal?" she asks in a lighter tone so nobody overhears.

Ikiko Hisakata patpats Reiko's shoulder. "Most wolves /are/ gray," she points out. "It's a better color for hiding in the wild with."

She blinks a bit at the number of fish plush that Reiko has, but she nods appreciatively. "Being able to keep the names of that many friends is pretty impressive!" she smiles. "And I suspect there's a story behind each name, too!"

Reiko's question prompts a headtilt, but the words 'weirder and surreal' being in the same sentence as 'crazy dimension' brings a frown to her face. "Like... a weird dimension, just outside our own, filled with malicious monsters and a nasty entity controlling them?" she quietly replies, in about the same lightness of tone as Reiko. The paper cutouts were different, but the rest of the description reminds her of that hideous circus... "Were there people -- normal people -- with spiky butterfly marks on them?"

Reiko Touyama blinks. "Yeah! There was. I mean, something like that. I was flying when I saw some folks dissapearing at the top of the hospital. I flew down and I ended up in some sort of weird hospital world. And some people were acting weird. And there were fluffy nurses with giant syringes and it was /horrible/!" she insists. "I.. it sounds like something called a Witch." she says. "Nag----" she pauses. "A friend said that they drop grief seeds and they're a thing Puella Magi need to survive. I promised to grab them if I ever saw an opening, and to help her deal with things like Witches." she says. "...I had a nightmare after that one. And really weird things were going on. I hope I can help here at the next one." she admits sheepishly.

Ikiko Hisakata nods. "For me, it was at one of the smaller parks, and it was a circus carnival," she remarks. "I recall that there was... /something/ that was fought over, and that someone said that it should only go to one of a small handful of people." She blinks slightly; Reiko's half-said name sounds somewhat familiar, but Ikiko had been a bit preoccupied with a pile of unconscious bodies to recall a name clearly.

"I'm pretty sure it /was/ a grief seed that was being fought over," she finally says. "I might try helping out with that the next time I fight a Witch; hopefully I'll be able to make sure that the grief seed goes to a Puella Magi."
