Nanoha's parents will probably have a lot of questions. Then again, they won't be the only ones. The penthouse apartment bed is soft and comfy. But the room is definitely not Nanoha's when she awakens; and the young mage will find that someone has tended to her injuries with a knowledge of basic first aid.
Fate, herself, is asleep on the couch in the other room, the sun is starting to rise. It's been a full night since the horror at the hospital, and quite frankly, the blonde was utterly exhausted when Takashi brought her home, but she stood up and took the time to empty out the last of the materials from the first aid kit, which now rests open and empty on the glass coffee table across from her. It looks like there had only been enough to treat one person, leaving Fate to sleep off her own scratches and bruises, still in her Barrier Jacket, with a blanket rumpled around her ankles, rather than tugged up properly.

When one falls into unconsciousness, which turns to sleep right in the middle of the actual real zombiepocalypse, one has a lot of unpleasant dreams. Meandering around a zombie infested Tokyo. Various horrible monsters. Feeling like you're drowning. Hey you.

Wake up.

This isn't really pleasant wakeful sleep that Nanoha wakes up from. It's a sharp sudden opening of the eyes and a gasp of breath as she disorientedly tries to place herself. This isn't were she fell down. This isn't the morgue of the hospital. She doesn't know if that's a bad or a good thing yet. She doesn't recognize this place. It doesn't have decor she's familiar with. She pats herself down. Wait. Are is that gauge wrapped around her right upper arm? Someone's tended to injuries and it wasn't her. Unless she was awake and forgot. That would be more problematic.

Then she suddenly looks worriedly around fast until her eyes catch what she looked for first. Mainly, Raising Heart, in it's tiny marble form. She settles down and frowns. Regenerating. Not active. She isn't getting any answers from Raising Heart right now.

She still picks her up and places the marble into her pocket. She then stands up with a wince. Everything hurts but she can move. She'll be okay. She peeks out the window. Okay. She's in some sort of tall building in the city so she throws 'Riventon's Spooky City Limits Mansion' out of her head for possible locations.

She walks to the door and opens it, peeking her head out carefully. A small hallway.

She steps out and begins to tip toe around. If whoever here wanted to hurt her well. She imagines she'd be 'taken care of' already. And also the first aid attempts. Right?.. Thusly...

"Hello?" she tries murmuring out carefully at first.

Meanwhile, Fate is still out. Exhaustion taking its toll on her after so long, one night of horror is all it takes to have her dropped out just as hard, just as tired, and just as wrecked- if not moreso than Nanoha. But when the small redhead emerges from the bedroom door into the spacious livingroom of the penthouse apartment, her first greeting is not from the blonde huddled in her cape on the couch...
[HELLO.] Bardiche Pings lowly, keeping quiet for a moment, before Fate starts to stir. Her cloak shifts aside, giving one more glimpse at the girl's slender, back, before she rolls over and slowly starts to sit herself up, rubbing blearily at exhausted scarlet eyes. "Mn... You're up."
Nanoha Takamachi 2017-10-30 13:53:42 85692
Nanoha Takamachi peeks in to the main living room when that device voice pings. Wait. She knows that device's voice. Bardiche- Fate's device. Her eyes trace the living room to the couch and---

There's Fate. Who looks more like she feels. She isn't quite frowning. But well- she doesn't know if she's been captured or what. She doesn't think she is.

"I am up." she says quietly. "Where is this?" she asks hesitantly. Because she wants to know where she is. "You're hurt." she says softly. She does eye the empty first aid kit. Which.. well means there's nothing she can do. Is there another one? She begins searching the walls for some reason. Expecting to see one hanging there. Maybe it's because there's one hanging in the bakery kitchen and she's expecting to magically see that for some reason.

Also. Doesn't Fate have a familiar to help see to these things? Nrg. Maybe Arf is actually off getting a new First Aid kit quickly for all she knows. So she doesn't immediately make a judgement on someone else's familiar. Unlike say. Making a judgement on Riventon. Which she's still sure is to blame for that.

"....are you okay?" she asks with a voice of concern. This is awkward. But it won't take her too long to get out of it. She just needs details first.
Fate T. Waldia 2017-10-30 13:59:20 85693
This is awkward. And was not planned out very well. And for a moment, Fate is left staring like a tired deer trapped in the headlights when she realizes she's going to have to actually answer the other girl's questions. for a long moment she remains silent, folding hands on her lap and opting to evade eye contact.
"I'm fine." She answers, at length. She is very much not fine, but her pride will not allow her to give any other answer. "I told Arf to stay out. She's getting suspicious enough as it is, I can feel it. You shouldn't stay here for long."
She's blunt, but she has a point. It's not safe for either of them, the longer Nanoha stays, and unfortunately there's no sign of any spare first aid kits laying around. That answer, alone, should explain everything. Fate took Nanoha home.
"I'll teleport you somewhere, when you're ready."
Nanoha Takamachi 2017-10-30 14:29:25 85697
Taking your rival home for world ending artifacts to apply first aid is rarely planned out well.

Nanoha Takamachi was too busy worrying about the various scenarios Raising Heart has readied her for. (One of those was what to do when you find yourself captive.) that it hasn't occurred to her WHY the First Aid Kit is out. Then she remembers the various gauze and wraps she remembers feeling.

Did Fate do that?...

...of course Fate-chan did. And she's alone here. And she can talk about things. But Fate is also right. She shouldn't stay here long. Which means there isn't enough time for her to obtain a first aid kit for Fate. And she doesn't know what supplies exist in this place to jury-rig things together. She reminds herself to see if she can't keep a first aid kit stable in Raising Heart's Dimensional container later.

--not that she'd be able to access it right now.

"No. No you're not fine." she says quietly. "Let me... look around. A moment." she mutters as she walks back towards the way she came. She's looking for a bathroom. When she finds it. She begins exploring. Surely there's... a bottle of alcohol or a towel she can tear up, right? She does find a towel. No alcohol though. She frowns a bit and walks back into the room and eyes what's left of the first aid kit. There's some of the ointments left. Various smaller, useless pieces of gauge. Way too small bandages for this mess. A few packets of what appear to be your basic OTC Ibprofeoun and Asprin type medication that probably won't put a dent in the pain. But you gotta try.

She rips a strip off the towel and then applies some of the ointment on it- well. Some being whatever is left of the tiny tube and then attempts to take care of what looks to be the most heaviest wound she can see.

"That's all I can do right now." she mutters. Because that's all that's left right now.

"Sorry." she says a little shamefully.

Then she clears her throat.

"Why did you bring me here, Fate-chan?" she asks, finally. Because that's been on her mind for the past ten minutes. She has to ask because... there were others there that could had most likely gotten Fate to help. Or Fate could had let Riventon do something horrible to her-- afterall. They can't be friends. Right?

Not like Nanoha ever believed that. But Fate-chan seems to think so.
Fate T. Waldia 2017-10-30 14:54:51 85700
"I'm fi-" Fate tries, she really tries to be firm, but Nanoha will not let her. Lips purse into a thin line, mixed consternation and exhaustion as the young redhead practically invades her home in search of a means to tend to her injuries. But Fate falls silent as Nanoha begins her search, and manages to locate something servicable.
Rest in piece towel-san, your sacrifice goes towards a good cause. Fate, surprisingly sits still, and does not protest as Nanoha shreds parts of the towel, but her brow does knot. "You don't have time for this." She says, voice soft and weary. But then Nanoha begins.
Light as the other girl's touch may be, Fate tenses. In fact, she flinches away from the initial contact, and not from the pain. Her own injuries are very minor- a few cuts and scrapes here and there, but she clearly spent all of her focus tending to Nanoha the night before.
So why does she shy away from physical contact?
Nanoha's next question is met with a sound. A stuttered vocalization that signals the start of beginning to say something before realizing that Fate has nothing to say. She has no answer to give. Not a logical one anyway.
"I don't know." She answers, honestly, at first. Before she clarifies, brushing blonde hair out of her eyes. "I already said I don't like hurting you. I didn't want to see you get hurt, either."
It's a rare glimpse into the normally frigid girl's gentle nature.
Nanoha Takamachi 2017-10-30 15:30:24 85703
Nanoha Takamachi does notice that reaction, and she isn't trying to keep prolonged contact or touch. She's doing just enough to make sure it's wrapped then she's moving her hands away. When she's done, she's done. There's nothing else she can do sort of warping space and time to make another first aid kit appear and she doesn't know a teleportation spell yet.

Raising Heart kind of prioritized 'giant lasers' first and foremost. The other stuff comes later.

She blinks as Fate tries to vocalize and ends up saying 'I don't know'. Then Fate kind of cooly moves the hair out from her eyes. Nanoha can't do that. She has shorter pigtails. Her hair just gets in her way. She fidgets.

"I don't wanna see you get hurt either." she says quietly. "Which is why I feel kind of bad I can't do much more for you right now." she admits sheepishly.

"...and I always have time to make sure you're okay." she says. Well that's true of anyone really. But right now that just happens to be Fate-chan.

"Even if I technically don't." she asides as she looks around cautiously.

"....ugh I have no idea how I'm gonna answer the obvious question when I get home." she mutters. Yeah. Parents.
Fate T. Waldia 2017-10-30 15:48:18 85708
Unfortunately 'Materialize medical aid' is not a spell that Bardiche knows, either. But Fate allows Nanoha to finish. Before the blonde tugs her legs up onto the couch, hugging knees to her chest. She's saring.
For a long, silent, moment she stares at the other girl with those weary scarlet eyes. "You don't have time, right now." She does re-iterate, but she's not quite pushing Nanoha out of the door just yet. Then she looks away, once again evading direct eye contact. The obvious question. A question asked by parents.
"I can't help you there." She replies. She can't exactly tell Nanoha to say 'say you stayed over at a friend's house'.
    They cannot be friends.
"You didn't need to do that for me. Arf would have gone out for more supplies." She notes softly.
Nanoha Takamachi 2017-10-30 16:16:34 85711
Nanoha Takamachi says. "I don't." she says. "But I have enough time right now to have done that." she says quietly. "I didn't need to do it. But. I had to do. Something." she says quietly.

Nanoha Takamachi doesn't really comment on the Jewel Seed. She doesn't know who has it. It seems sort of petty to ask right now. Even if Fate got it- what can she do about it? Certainly not try to mug Fate in her own home.

"You didn't need to bring here and make sure I was okay." she says quietly. "- you probably didn't have time either then." she says. "But you did it." she says.

She kind of wants to have a discussion at Fate. 'See. This is what the Jewel Seeds do. Even when one is doing something they think is good.' and similar threads.

But she can't bring herself to. Not right now.

"I should go." she finally says. Because. Well. Fate isn't enjoying this, clearly. Or she is and she finds shame in it. Or she's worried that Arf is gonna bust through the door like some sort of furry Kool-Aid man.

"I guess when you feel you're ready." she says quietly. "With the spell."
Fate T. Waldia 2017-11-17 18:41:30 86616
Arf busting through the door would be an absolute disaster. The thought of that happening right now makes Fate agitated, shifting uncomfortably where she sits. She'll probably have a great deal of explaining to do even after Nanoha leaves, if she can manage to keep the whole thing under Arf- and more importantly, Precia's noses. But between the two of them, Arf's nose is dangerously keen.
Between them though, Fate is more than fully aware of the Jewel Seeds and their dangerous nature, the exchange would be awkwardly cyclical, but Fate reaches for Bardiche.
[NO.] The device pings. [I WILL DO IT.]
"Mn." Fate murmurs, leaving the transportation spell in her Device's capable, metaphorical, hands. This should give Nanoha just enough time to say something more, though.
Nanoha Takamachi 2017-11-17 19:03:12 86617
Nanoha Takamachi shifts uncomfortably. She wants to say. Something. Anything. She'd hug. But she's already seen Fate shy from that contact- and she generally knows why right now. Ugh she still needs to think up an excuse. She's probably gonna call Arisa when she gets out and beg her to tell her parents that she was over there last night. Then she'll dodge questions for the next month.

Like Always.

She tries to think of something to say. Something she can do right now. She's done all she could for Fate's own wound. "You know you can call me for help if you need it, Fate-chan. We can worry about who gets what when the situation is more under control." she says quietly.

"I'll come. I promise." she says with as much determination as she can. Raising Heart would have something to say about this. If Raising Heart still wasn't in it's standby repair mode and effectively sleeping.
Fate T. Waldia 2017-11-17 19:27:28 86618
Quietly Fate is internally chiding herself. Bardiche did that on purpose, and she's fully aware of it. But it gives Nanoha the chance to say what's on her mind. But she closes her eyes and takes a slow breath as a golden magic circle begins to form beneath Nanoha.
"Even if that were true... We're still on very opposite sides, and you know it."
She wants to accept such a heartfelt offer of aid. But... She cannot. She wants to say 'please, don't make this any harder on the both of us', but she knows Nanoha will not stop. "Mn... Go home and rest." It's as good a 'goodbye' as Nanoha is going to get before Bardiche finishes the spell and transports her somewhere close to Midori-ya.
Fate sighs and casts a glance at her Device.
    Bardiche almost smugly says nothing.
