Sakura Kinomoto was skating out of the playground(she had been swinging) and humming softly as she walked, skipping, enjoying herself. Having a grand old time.

Kiro wasn't with her, as she had left him behind to rest. He kept getting the bouts of exhaustion! It was super duper MEGA frustrating! Poor Kiro... She wanted to help make him better.

On top of it, her brother was working on some project and Tomoyo was with her mom. So Sakura was on her own and really had nothing to do, aside from having fun at the park. So of course she did. Lazily skating along the ground through the plants, heading towards the koi pond. Their colors were just so pretty!
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 17:36:16 90389
Takashi wasn't being lazy today, though. No experiments to monitor, and no projects in activity meant he had to find something else to pursue. And one of his helpful allies had handled that well - Black Sakura had found her opposite, Sakura Kinomoto, out. Alone. An easy target. It was time to get more of the cards.

The shadowy entity hadn't waited for Takashi, though, and had already begun to pursue Sakura. She might end up feeling her before she saw her - which may have saved her from Black Sakura's glinting scythe slamming down just in front of her, the morning sunlight reflecting off the blade. Silently, she looked at the one who's form she had taken.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 17:47:30 90395
Sakura Kinomoto did not. However, she WAS lucky. As the scythe came down... She turned to the left, seeing a ducky. "So c-" Then scythe! She looked down and paled. Then to her other half. She stumbled back, her key rising to her hand and... "Key that holds the power of darkness. Reveal your true form to me. I, Sakura, command thee under convert! Release!"

Her wand in hand, she readied herself for the girl. "Black Sakura," she said firmly. "What are you doing here?" She didn't sense any cards.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 17:51:38 90397
The elegant, black-formal Sakura spins her scythe once, pointing the end at her. "I'm here to liberate your cards." she said, using Sakura's exact voice. It had that effect of being off, like listening to your own recording.

The world shuddered for a moment, and out of a patch of dark energy, like stepping through a portal, came Takashi Agera, holding his darker key. But it wasn't a wand yet. "You still hold too many of Clow's artifacts. Time to change that. I've been patient with you for too long."
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 18:06:06 90403
Sakura Kinomoto stepped back. Oh crud. Both of them. She reached for her phone, then paused. No. This was what she'd trained for. She'd spend WEEKS readying herself. Besides, if another phone broke, well, Tomoyo couldn't replace all of them. Although... no. Two on one. Realistically, she knew she didn't have a shot and... However...

She charged straight at Takashi. A forward assault? she drew a card and...

"Through!"

And then would go through, hopefully, him and make a run for it. She was a tricky little girl.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 18:10:17 90404
Not only that but Takashi wasn't in Henshin. He wasn't expecting it, and made a clumsy, Dark Energy aided barefist swing at her - before he contacted nothing and she dashed through him.

Black Sakura, though, spun her scythe and gave chase much faster - less disoriented than Takashi himself. "Get back here with our cards!" she shouted. Takashi blinked a few times and held his key up. There was a glow of black energy... then white? And a few feathers dashing through the air?

Takashi stood, and turned on his heel to face the fleeing Sakura. Rather than his usual magical labcoat, this one appeared to be made of... grey feathers? "You can keep running but we'll just follow you home. Or you can stand your ground and prove you deserve to hold those cards." He called out.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 18:18:10 90406
Sakura Kinomoto actually stopped. That's true. He could follow her home. She'd never actually beaten him. She needed help. She needed... someone. But there wasn't someone this time. And he'd follow her home. She turned to face him and drew a card.

"They are NOT your cards. They are MY friends," she said firmly. "And if anyone doesn't deserve them, it's you! You big... big meanie!" She then... "One second." She stopped a second to slide out of her roller skates and put her shoes on. "Okay. Ready! Three two one, go!" Because she played fair! And ran at him! She drew two cards...

"Fight! Dash!" And in about a half a second she went from about twenty feet from dark dakura... to in her face, launchin an open palm strike at her chin. And... "I'm sorry!" Of course she was. -.-
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 18:30:55 90412
This was... clearly not a thing that Black Sakura was expecting. She moved to interpose her scythe between herself and the speedy young Sakura, in a last moment. But there was still a hallow 'ping' sound as the more elegantly dressed of the two flew backwards... bounced once off the surface of the koi pond... and on the second impact went beneath the waters.

Takashi idly twirled his own Clow Key before leaning on it like a cane. "Well, I'm impressed. But that's not going to be enough. Sword! Release!" Takashi's key went from a key to a wicked, curved blade which he stopped leaning on and went into a fighting pose. But instead of swinging it, another card suddenly appeared at the tip! "Release!" And then the sword unleashed a surprise gout of black fire towards Sakura.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 18:35:36 90415
The fire enveloped the girl and... Fwoosh. Overwhelmed her. She didn't even get a barrier and he felt no resistance.

Until the fire ended and... rather than a charred, sobbing sakura... there was a hole in the ground. What in the-- "Arrow card!" she called out from behind him, in another hole. Arrows rained down on him as she moved back and drew another card. "Rain!" she called out. The arrows disappeared as she hit the rain and... Water began to flow down around them.

She stood across from him, panting from the exertion, though staring defiantly. Keeping her distance. Her eyes narrowed on that sword... she had to be careful.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 18:51:14 90418
With wide, aggressive swings Takashi swept some of the arrows out of the way with the sword, leaving an inky black trail behind each swing. But he still had to dodge some of them. With the rain, Fire had to take a back seat.

And elsewhere, Black Sakura's head popped up above the water. A koi swam around as she steadily grew more annoyed, swatting at the poor thing but missing.

Takashi drew yet another card, and his feather-coat glowed for a moment as he drew power up. "Sand, collapse and twist! Release!" From the card, stepping out of it like a djin came Sand in her humanoid form, a woman in flowing clothes. But that rapidly stopped as she became a ferocious desert twister, sucking in the rain... the wind... some leaves from the trees, growing and growing in power. It also made Takashi's feathercoat flow awesomely in the wind.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 18:54:59 90419
Sakura Kinomoto took a step back. Sand twister?! Oh you have GOT to be kidding me! She stared and gulped as the winds picked up. Okay, if she wanted to fight this, she had to... stop it. She drew a card. "Wind card!" she called, hitting the stard with her wand. "Calm these fierce winds and end their rampage!" she yelled.

The wind card shot out and tried to envelop it. Well. It WAS a domain card so... it had to win. Right?
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 19:00:51 90422
Normally, yes. But Takashi's jacket was more than a fashion statement; it was Dark Energy imbued with the strength of one of Clow's Guardians, and he channeled it into the card. Sand's upper body formed while her lower remained the twister, and she locked arms with Windy, pulling her into her humanoid shape as well, struggling with her.

And slowly, she started to... push Windy back?! "Come on, kid. My cards are going to draw from my strength of heart and purpose. You can't win, even if the card is stronger by base. My ability far exceeds yours." He was cheating too, but that wasn't really relevant.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 19:09:18 90425
Sakura Kinomoto pulled the wind card back. He was right. She couldn't beat him like this. She needed more than just windy. She drew... a second card.

Earthy. The dual domain spells. Using two at once... she'd never actually done that. Using two had been hard but... Domain cards were difficult.

But she had to try. It was her only chance. She ran forward and... "Windy! Earthy!" she called out.

Wind and earth enveloped the sandstorm and, for a minute or two, the battle raged, tearing the area up and leaving destruction in their wake.

But... finally... when it ended... The winds disippated. The sands were gone. But the young girl was bruised, battered, covered in sweat and down on one knee, supporting herself on her wand as she panted from exertion.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 19:13:44 90426
There was a wide circular hole where the beautiful gardens had once been, where only twisted and gnarled growth remained. And... a downed Sakura. Takashi walked over, blade in his hand, that sickly-black ink trail following behind him. He hefted it up. "I'm not going to let you ruin everything by holding the cards."

But at the last moment he turned it so instead of cutting through her he'd be thwacking her with the blunt side of it. Still a lot of dark energy, but. "I'll be taking the cards now." He brought it down with a great deal of force, negative energy wafting from his arms as he did so.
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 19:18:34 90428
Sakura Kinomoto was sent to the ground and collapsed... And then smiled up at him.

A moment later she disappeared in a puff of smoke. There was a sound behind him. "POWER!"

OH this was going to hurt. She held the wand up, over her head and drove it down at him.

"The cards are NOT YOURS TO TAKE!" she yelled. "They are my precious friends! They are my comrades! I WILL NEVER EVER LET THEM GO!" she screams.

BOOM! Dust and debris rose into the air, sent flying in all direction.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 19:23:16 90430
The power of Sakura's attack was evident as the dust cleared - Takashi in his new cloak having been pushed back a good few feet from where he dug his heels in, and the Sword he'd made from his Key having hairline cracks in it. It flickered and the Sword Card faded out, leaving only the bird of prey-headed staff behind. Takashi grunted, and it took him a second to get to his feet, but when he did, he yelled angrily.

"Power is what is going to defend this world. Not friendship! Power is absolute! It's truth!" and with each word he swung the cane like a heavy mace, Dark Energy still flowing off of it, the beak of the staff like a piercing nail at the end of a bat. "And you're not strong enough for Final Judgement, you'll doom us all!"
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 19:31:07 90431
Sakura Kinomoto took a step back as the mace came at her and... "Shield!" she yelled. A barrier of pink formed around her. The first blow glanced off. "Power doesn't mean ANYTHING without those to share it with! I may be weak by myself! But I have my friends to guide me! To help me!" The mace cracked the shield. "They are by my side no matter what! And the cards are the symbols of the bond we have. AND I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM UP! BECAUSE THEY ARE MY FRIENDS!" And the shield shattered. The mace came at her.

Her wand swung down and, when the two hit... Lil girl got crushed. At least, that SHOULD have happened. Instead. A white light erupted from the wand and, for a moment, shoved him back. She stepped forward, her wand glimmering like a beacon. "And I will save them all again!" And she reached out towards him with her free hand....

And a card flew from his jacket. Cloud? What? And, likely to his surprise... His name disappears. Replaced by Sakura's signature, once again.

And again to his surprise... the other cards were tugging towards her hand too. But then the light faded and she stumbled back, staring at the card. Panting with exertion.

The twin card had been a good distraction but... She was exhausted. Her magic was spent. And... unlike him. She was alone.

When there's a battle going on, sometimes it makes peoples senses tingle. So Cure Gull went off on a little patrol in the afternoon. That teal green beam of light sort of making the rounds. Nevermind that Corvus was his usual 'hold on for dear life onto Cure Gull's shoulder's' self while she did this.

She stopped though. What was giant push of energy right then? She got in closer and then she could make out.... Sakura-chan!? Fighting..

Oh.. Oh no.

She'd jet downwards, however, towards Riventon.. with a mighty kick, and when her foot- hopefully- touched.

"GULL HURRICAUNE KICK!"- a might burst of wind blasting downwards with the kick!

She'd hop backwards-- toward's Sakura from the might of the kick- and frowns. Corvus is there. He flaps backwards and checks on Sakura's condition a moment.

"HEY, YOU." she says. "RIVENTON. I'M GONNA CLEAN YOUR CLOCK, GOOD. IF YOU DON'T WALK AWAY RIGHT NOW." she says, raising her hands up. "AND LEAVE LITTLE SIS ALONE."

Nevermind the feather motif. What's that about?
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 19:56:10 90440
'Raven'ton is alerted to Cure Gull's presence before she connects, and raises up his hand to produce...

Nothing. This henshin is for controlling the Clow Cards and he had to forgo some of his more common powers to focus it. He realizes all of this in about a split second before the hurricane kick hits and he is about to follow Black Sakura's trajectory into the Koi Pond when he rights himself in mid air. At least he kept flight.

"You're welcome to try, kid!" He snapped back as though he didn't just almost end up swimming with the koi. But he could feel it. The cards were... restless. Not all of them but some of them. He grumbled angrily. "She's got things that belong to me, Punch-Bird. Things that are really dangerous for her to have and not me. Stand aside!"
Sakura Kinomoto 2018-04-21 20:02:53 90444
Sakura Kinomoto was panting and about to get her butt kicked. And then.... Gull kick! Her eyes widened and she stared with awe. "Oh my gosh, Cure Gull! You're so amazing! You totally kicked his butt!" she said with a grin.

And reached out and took her hand, smiling up at her. "T-thank you. I.... I almost called but... I didn't... I couldn't just run." She held up the snow card. "But... But I got one of the cards!"

Awwww. he didn't splash. She frowned and... Drew her wand "Let's... let's get out of here. I took out Black Sakura, but I... I'm spent," she said. Then... "Cloud! Cover us!" she said. Clouds enveloped the area and she grabbed big sis, holding on.
Haruna Kurosawa 2018-04-21 20:13:39 90445
Cure Gull is furious and it practically shows. Luckily, it's a righteous fury, rather than wrath. "No, they belong to Sakura-chan." she says angrily. She knows that Riventon is talking about the cards. "What's with the new get up anyways!?" she says. "Did you raid Corvus's old wardrobe." she snorts.

Corvus would usually have a snappy come back for that, but he's too busy making sure Sakura is okay. (and she is!). "Whew." goes the Seagull.

She's about to lunge forward when Sakura-chan starts speaking and there's suddenly a smokescreen of sorts in the form of the clouds.

She'd hold Sakura-chan as tight as she could, before taking off and away. It's better to get Sakura-chan out of this right now--- aiming for a direction away from Riventon.

She's hoping he'll be too tired or spent himself to be worth pursing right now, perhaps.
Takashi Agera 2018-04-21 20:16:44 90446
Riventon is mostly too tired, to even respond back. First Sakura's Power boosted strike, and then Gull's superkick? He'd have to report to Eclipse medical to make sure the ribs weren't broken. It kinda felt like they might be. So he was happy to make a fist-shaking show at their dissappearing act - but he wasn't going to follow. He looked over at Black Sakura, just now crawling from the water. "You know... you told me she was alone and easy."

The overly-dressed girl began squeezing the water out of her dress like a rag. "She was. She must have been training." Takashi grumbled. "There's no way she could have trained enough to match me." He said that, but in the back of his mind, he wondered. "We'll try again soon. We're down a card, and that's unacceptable. If she costs the world everything..."
