Lacrima had something bothering her. Mainly why the hell did Mars and Jupiter and Nephrite go to beat up Takashi and how the hell did they even GET there unless like. Nephrite got all Dark Kingdom again and had dark-powered teleport powers!? No. No-- that'd been a problem and as far as she knows things are back to basic almost normal drama around the ECFH as opposed to missing powers or people being kidnapped.

So there are many ways to handle this. Honestly? Lacrima knows she's going to end up completely unrational about this at some point. SHE COULD go seek Rei out on a patrol. She COULD ambush her somewhere else but instead she's showing at the gates of the Hikawa Shrine- largely because she knows this place weakens her and if there's somewhere she's going to have such a confrontation it's where she can't accidently get out of control and start shoving dark energy spikes through people in a fit of loss of self control.

This does not stop here from arriving late one night, when the Shrine is closed and old people are in bed and starting to glower with obvious dark energy, pushing at various wards and the sacred consecrated ground of the shrine to try to make it call out.

"Rei Hino!" she calls out.

"Get. Out. Here!" she huffs.

Lacrima's plan is as appreciated as it is worrying, and pretty much makes Rei's case against dark energy, were she to hear it. Then again, she's pretty biased.
She expected that this was coming, albeit not where Lacrima would be at possibly her weakest. She supposes she should know by now that the people Mamoru-kun befriends tend towards well-meaning sillyness like that. Rei's hardly an exception. It's kind of comforting, except that there's still an angry vampire at her home.
Two crows flutter down onto an archway above Lacrima, staring too intently to be normal, as one of the shrine doors slide open, revealing Rei Hino with a small electric light behind her; her eyes seeming to find you in the dark instantly. "... Lacrima-san." She says flatly, and shuts the door behind her. For once she's not dressed in elegant robes or flattering modern fare, but a simple dark red pair of pajamas and light blue house-slippers as she crosses her arms, watching you with irritating calm.
She'd ask what Lacrima's doing here, but... Rei already knows. She's FAIRLY confident Lacrima isn't here to attack, but... she's still part of Eclipse. Rei can't completely relax.

If Lacrima wanted to attack Rei, there's better ways to do so then showing up the place that Rei knows affects Lacrima aversely and weakens the vampire to be sure. There's still that awful dark energy aura around her- it's bright purple. There's cracks of white light at the edges as it touches various wards. It's almost like an odd pretty glitter.

"What the hell!" she calls out. "Why the hell did you invade his home and beat up Taka-sama!?" she calls out.

"HE WASN'T EVEN DOING ANYTHING //BAD// OVER THERE. HE WAS RESARCHING HIS FAMILY TREE!" she says. "Is that so bad!? Was there something he's not supposed to know about it!?" she says as she actually stamps her foot.

"Or are you worried he'd discover the secret of Lucky Charms or some dumb crap!?" she says. Because you know, Ireland and leprechauns.

Rei glowers slightly at the aura of dark energy, but seems satisfied that the wards are doing there jobs. Lacrima's not here to attack, but... anger makes you act unpredictably. Rei knows that better than some people.
Rei opens her mouth, then... closes it on the Lucky Charms line with a brief perplexed look. She shakes her head and tries again. "No. I don't know anything about Takashi's blood line. I don't care what he learns about it..." she tilts her head, "... and he can eat all the Lucky Charms he wants."

Lacrima doesn't stop glowing with dark energy rage. Nope. "You didn't answer my first question. Why the hell we're you there!?" she says angrily. "You're avoiding the question!" she says. "If not because you we're worried about his research or any dumb crap like that!" she says.

"How did you even get there." she says. "Is Nephrite back in the dark juice and you guys DUSK STEPPED there!?" she sputters. "Because you most certainly didn't bust in the front door and you didn't take a plane."

She's clenching her fists. She's trying hard to not... try to blast anything really. She wants to. "So you know." she says with clenched teeth. "I came here because it's honestly the best place to have this dumb discussion because I can't do much otherwise." she says. "So don't take it 'personally'." she huffs.

Rei closes her eyes slowly and tersely replies, "I appreciate that."
When she opens her eyes again, the look in them is... intense. "Did you know he once kidnapped Sailor Jupiter? That he created a duplicate of her and kept her prisoner in the Dusk Zone while it attacked us?" Her voice raises an octave, "Sailor Earth wasn't even the *first time* he hurt us! And while we were there? He promised to do it *again*. 'Perfect soldiers' that aren't burdened by what makes us people." She glowers, "Takashi Agera had un. payed. debts, and he only *ever* regretted that his experiment failed. He is a cold, vicious little monster and... and..." when Rei realizes she's shaking, she bites her lip and closes her eyes, willing herself to settle down.
"... We went there to make him understand there are consequences for hurting us, not matter how badly Mamoru-kun wants to believe in him. It escalated. That's your answer. As for how we got there?" She averts her eyes to the side. "Trade secret."
Lacrima 2018-10-16 21:48:10 99053
Lacrima scowls. "Yes. I know. I didn't know at the time but I know because I rescued him from that particular bad idea." she says more tersely. "He's being more open with me about his ideas so I can kick him if they're bad ideas now. After Mamoru. Because honestly? I was really really upset about that too." she says.

But then Rei Hino hits one of those bad spots. One of those points in which WHY she chose to do this confrontation this way.

"THAT COLD VICIOUS LITTLE MONSTER..." she says angrily. "...WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO CALL ME HUMAN. WHEN I WAS THIS.. THIS THING." she says. "...TO KEEP THEIR PROMISES WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD HELP ME RATHER THAN GIVE ME LIP SERVICE LIKE THE REST OF YOUUUUUU." she says. A clumped 'you' of heroes. Also that aura is getting stronger. "THAT 'VICIOUS LITTLE MONSTER' Also DIED FOR MAMORU. THAT 'LITTLE VICIOUS MONSTER' CAME TO HELP SAVE ME FROM MY GOD DAMN BROTHER WITH THE REST OF YOU KNOWING FULL WELL HE WAS GOING INTO 'PUNCH HIS FACE' TERRITORY." she says. "THAT 'LITTLE VICIOUS MONSTER' TRIED TO SUBDUE MY BROTHER ALL HIS OWN SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO." she says.

"YOU CAN CALL HIM ANTHING ELSE! BAD! MISLED! EVIL. VICIOUS. EVEN." she says.

"BUT HE ISN'T A MONSTER." she yells.

Knots twist in Rei's stomach as Lacrima's temper flares. "Lacrima-san." When the aura of dark energy intensifies, she tenses as charms and wards spark and sizzle all around her. "Lacrima-san!"
Rei's heart starts pounding as there is now an enraged dark energy user shouting within a hundred yards of her sleeping grandfather, her eyes blazing as she, perhaps unwisely steps towards Lacrima, barking, "LACRIMA-SAN!"
Her voice lowers down to a terse whisper as she replies, "I don't know what Takashi Agera has shown you... I don't know what on *earth* he's shown Mamoru-kun and Ami-chan. He saved Mamoru-kun? I owe him for that. He's been kind to you? I believe you. But he hasn't shown me anything, not *one* thing to make me believe there's enough humility in his heart to *really* understand or make up for what he's done. He talks about us like *cattle*, Lacrima-san, and if you're telling me he's *so* much different, that he doesn't have a selfish motive for *everything* you've mentioned..." she sighs. "Then I don't know what to think. All I know is we had to draw a line. If he never harms us again, we'll never harm him again. That's all there is to it."
Lacrima 2018-10-16 22:32:02 99055
Lacrima can only keep the rage up for so long, and there's also those wards pushing back where the burning dark energy doesn't last for long as she twitches. She's trying to not let herself get too out of control and while she so irrationally angry right now her hands are keeping right by her waist- albeit tightly held into fists.

"That's right you don't." she says. "Takashi is many things. He is foolish and egotistical. His way of thinking may not always be correct, but I know his heart is in the right place." she says with frustration. "Someday he's going to realize that." she says. Maybe soon, she thinks, but she doesn't relate that verbally.

She takes a deep breath, that dark aura is down a little bit as she's trying to focus. She closes her eyes. "Fine." she says finally at that last bit. "Fine that's fine." she says. She can admit that much. Besides. Takashi isn't even in shape to DO anything and he knows it.

"I really really hate wards." she says before there's a snap of white light slapping across her and that dark aura all but dissipates as she shakily collapses down to her butt. "But.. reason I came here. Can't.. attack easily. Even if I wanted to, mind you." she says.

There's a terse nod an instant before all the tension and anger disappears the moment Lacrima is dropped to the ground by the wards, replaced by surprise and worry. "Lacrima-san!" She gasps and reflexively drops to one knee and grabs you by the shoulders, as if you needed to be stopped from falling back and hitting your head. Eyes wide with alarm, she quickly grows self-conscious of how awkward this situatiion is and pulls her arms back, still kneeling at eye level with you. "I- I'm sorry, that's..." She turns her head to look at the wards anxiously, "... I've never seen that happen before. No one's ever..." she averts her eyes, "... channeled dark energy that... that aggressively- I-" she just shakes her head and repeats. "I'm sorry." Man. Rei was half ready to fight a second ago, and now she just feels sorta bad.
Lacrima 2018-10-16 22:59:02 99057
Lacrima cackles. "Sorry? Don't be sorry. I was pushing against wards and... whatever holiness is." she mutters. "Again it's why I had this talk here." she says. "I mean I could probably break it. If I wanted to. But I don't. I don't wanna get that strong." she says. "With dark energy it's.. it's... either Power or Rationality... pick one." she mutters.

She does eventually get to stand on her own. "JuSt..." she mutters. "Look... Takashi. Means a lot to me. If you need to beat him up. Fine. Do it. But know I worry about him and know If he needs help I'm going to be there too if I am able." she says.

She looks down. "I did mean what I said that night." she says. "That dark things shouldn't hurt humans unless they can't help it. If they need to. Like I do. I need to feed." she says. "I'm a vampire." she adds. "but they should not harm them permanently then. Do as little... as possible." she says quietly.

"Look. I'm done here. This is starting to hurt finally." she says. Obviously she's burnt off any rage she came in here with and is back to a more normal state. As far as normal goes.

Rei listens quietly, hints of pity and confusion on her face. She can't blame someone like Lacrima for existing, but the more she hears about it, the less she wants it to exist. All the same... that's essentially what Lacrima IS now, and wiping it out would mean...
Rei isn't willing to go down that road.
"... Yeah. Take care." She says quietly. She doesn't want to lecture Lacrima, and there's nothing she can say about Takashi that she likely doesn't already know, or that wouldn't upset her, so she resists the urge to try. But, with her back turned to Lacrima as she leaves, she calls out softly, "Lacrima-san. Make him understand that. I never want to do this again." before she quietely slips back inside the shrine, and the two crows, seemingly unperturbed by the violent reaction of the wards, finally fly away.
