Comeback, Butterfly!~ 8i8

Reiko Touyama eeeeeeeeeeee Chouko Murasaki was coming back! It'd been a while! Of course, she has the single Chouko released because of course she bought it the moment she heard it came out. Now she knows.. /two idols!/. Of course. She knew Chouko's hesitation so she didn't know if she should bring any of it up. Still. It was important to support your friends!

She's dragged Hoshi out out to the lilac bush the group used to play at and began hurriedly and freverntly texting Chouko.

"Chouko-chan!~ Meet us at the usual spot! :D." the text said. Reiko's text name was, as usual 'Reikoi ><>'.

She waited patiently with Hoshi. "Ah--I hope she comes by!" she says to her yellow haired friend. Reiko is a little worried.

She imagines being an idol can change someone, one way or another! The music! the singing! the slowly building fame even!? She didn't know if Chouko was quite famous yet. She perhaps didn't care!

Hoshi is quite alright with being dragged along, ever happy to be with friends, to make new ones and to re-encounter old ones. "I'm sure she will." Hoshi tries to smoothen Reiko's worries, sitting down next to the bush and lookup up at the sky. One of her stars comes out, holding a microphone and miming singing.

Chouko hadn't replied back to the text, so it was anybody's guess whether she was actually coming or not. In fact, she's actually late. By about ten minutes. And when she does arrive, she's running, and looking behind her. Her face is all red and she's breathing heavily. Finally she's within earshot, and skids to a stop, panting.

"...Sorry!" Her voice is just as quiet as it's always been. She bows, still catching her breath. "It... took me a while to get free."

Though those who remember her wearing very simple, patched clothing may be a little taken aback. She wears a pretty lavender shirt with ruffles at the neck and sleeves, with a violet, plaid jumper over it. near-white lavender tights and dark purple mary janes complete the outfit. It's... all brand new.

Reiko Touyama is starting to worry. Maybe Chouko is too busy for them now after all? That's okay. It's not like she isn't used to friends bailing on her by now. She's about to say something to Hoshi on the matter when Chouko shows up and she turns around beams!

"Chouko-chan!" she says. She goes to hug Chouko when--- she gasps!

"W--woah!" she says wide eyed at Chouko's cloth. "Woah! Those are really pretty Chouko!" she beams wide. "Your clothes I mean!" she beams.

THEN she hugs! It's not a super tight vice-hug- she may not want to mess up Chouko's lovely outfit now!

"Chouchan~" Hoshi greets cheerfully, but not quite getting up. She'll get her turn, or she won't. Reiko got first dibs on this. "What's it like being famous?" She doesn't ask what it's like being rich, she knows that already. "I'm sure they're keeping you busy, hope you're having fun"

She finally gets up and notices Chouko's new clothes. She's wearing her own rainbow dress today, been wearing it more since she awoke to being a Prism Keeper for some reason. "I like those, Chouchan." She sounds cheerful, and then a star appears right next to her wearing a fancy dress and walking on her shoulder like it's a catwalk.

Chouko seems nervous, actually, when Reiko mentions her outfit. Almost scared. But she seems to relax when Reiko hugs her. She does indeed return the hug. Probably more tightly than Reiko does. There for just a moment, she clings! But she does remind herself that she's being clingy and lets go.

Indeed, Chouko will give Hoshi her turn to hug! She's been away for a couple years at least, right? Also hugs are nice! They're more important than a silly outfit anyway. as for the question, Chouko shakes her head. "...I'm not yet. Not... really." She waves a hand dismissively. "But how have you both been?"

Reiko Touyama looks to Hoshi's starpal and has to stifle a giggle. Chouko probably can't see it. Then that begs the other question that immediatly comes to her mind as she gives Hoshi suddenly the flash of a worried look-- before displacing it, because--- Her friend is back! Eeeeeee!

When the hug gets tighter, she hugs tighter back. She just doesn't wanna mess up Chouko's clothes and have her be upset if she rips it by accident.

"I've been. Okay." she finally admits. "Mei's... been sent off to a finishing school..." Hoshi knows this a lie, this is the same lie Hoshi was told. "So It was kinda lonely for a bit but--- Hoshi's back in my recess period now!" she beams.

"I'm so glad you're back Chouko!" she says excitedly.

"Well.. /I/ bought your first release!" she insists.

"If you want, I could ask dad if he could talk to people. He probably won't but maybe?" Hoshi's dad has connections, important ones, but of course Hoshi would never presume to do that kind of thing without asking first. She returns the hug, warm and cheerful. "Reichan, we need to get you some more friends." She mentions, glancing at her starpal and back to Reiko, then meaningfully to Chouko.

No, Chouko shows no signs of being able to see Hoshi's little starpal, so no worries there. She seems sad, her face falling a little when Reiko mentions Mei's not there. But she smiles again, however subdued, when Reiko mentions that she and Hoshi are in the same recess period. "That's good," she replies happily. And she looks a little embarrassed when Reiko talks about her single. "It's... just an experiment," she explains. "They're seeing how the public reacts, so they can change things to appeal to more people."

But then Hoshi's words of Reiko needing more friends gets a blink. Chouko looks between the two other girls and blinks. "Is everything OK?" she asks, meaning the question to both of them.

Reiko Touyama kind of wants to be up front with Chouko. 'Hey, remember how we used to play this silly little Prism Keeper game, well it's real and you might be Prism Keeper Purple I want you here really bad Chouko. ;_;' and she wilts a little herself. Besides. Would that be fair? Chouko seems so busy....

A koi appears, it looks mopey. Chouko can't see it either. Hoshi can. Mopey koi, Mopey Reiko. She shakes her head and tries to perk her mood up. She only half manages.

"It's just been a busy couple of months!" she says with a short step bounce. "So-- an experiment? Well! I liked the beat and it was peppy and upbeat! I like that kinda stuff!" she says with a grin! "Is there some way I can give input besides to your face, Chouko? Or was... um... 'Voting with my Yen' good enough?" she asks.

Hoshi's starpals seem intent on trying to cheer Reiko up. One of them stands on top of Hoshi's head, holding on to a ton of tiny balls of varying sizes and colours. One for each of the eight planets, in fact, and then it starts trying, and failing, to juggle them. Another star, this one carrying a basket flies all over the place to catch them as they fly all over the plac.

"I should buy it, just to see what it's like." Hoshi kind of agrees with Reiko that she want to support their friend. She then answers Chouko simply, "I just don't understand why Reichan has so few friends. She's nice and kind and I think she just needs a little help, so let's help her."
