LAST TIME ON PRISM AEGIS!
"I wonder if I can talk to Koi! I'mma gonna go test that, bye!"
RIGHT NOW
Reiko has come to the botanical gardens to walk across the bridge over the Koi pond. The garden is busy, but that just means her weirdness will be covered by the mess of people around, as she lays down on the bridge and peers down into the water, watching the vibrant colored koi swim under her.
"Hiiii Fishy Fishy Fishy." she says. "Hiii Fish..."
The koi just swim lazily past. "Come on Koiiii, say something."
One comes up to the surface and Reiko waits with BATED BREATH. "*blub*". Just nibbling a piece of stray koi feed on the water.
Reiko sighhhhs defeated. "Okay so I can't talk to Koi. Lame!" she says as she stands up slowly.
As one young girl tries to talk to the Koi, someone watches from the shadows of the busy park. His dark form crouches there on a street light and a toothy fanged grin crosses his lips. His red eyes locked right on her as she tries to get the Koi to say something and then only chuckles when she realizes she can't speak to the fish.
With an easy push off and his wings aiding him to take flight, he moves over the crowd before he spirals down with a spin into one of the trees. The people oblivious but for someone of that magic sense, there was something very dark near by.
He lowers himself down slightly. The black armor more visible to make out, even though it seems to ignore the light, where the deep crimson lines of his armor stand out against it. Including that gem in the center of his chest armor. His skin a dark brown-gray skin and those red eyes peering out from the shadows of the tree leaves. His wings can be seen slightly spread out before he places up his index finger to his lips, as he looks at her. "Shhh..." he says before he chuckles gently. "You just don't listen closely enough, little girl." His voice is slightly deep, but there is an echo there in his voice. A younger sound that is hidden behind the other.
Reiko Touyama hears an echoy voice come up behind her as she turns to face----
Some sort of monster-like individual with weird skin, armor and wings and---- she freezes in place for a moment and her maw just opens wide. Reiko.EXE has crashed, please reboot the Reiko.
She shakes herself out of it her Chroma Crystal isn't going haywire, so it isn't a shade. Do Shades even talk? Not like this.. anyways.
"H..hey! No..it's not that! Just... uh. What are you!?" she asks with wide eyes. This thing doesn't look nice so she shoves her hand into her pocket just... grasping it around her Chroma Crystal. Juuuuust in case.
The demonic being stays in the tree for now. He cants his head to the side. The breeze blows his black bangs gently around his face. Those red eyes looking at her before he tilts his head ever so slightly to the other side. "What am I?" There was a soft chuckle. "That... is always good question to ask."
He places out his hands on two branches, his clawed fingers easily digging into the bark. "To make it easy child." Those eyes of his narrow dangerously. "I am the Predator and your are my pray. Now why don't you make this interesting and run!"
With a demonic roar (if you ever seen Gargoyles, think of that sound), before he shoves off and rushes right for Reiko in a pounce. Ignoring all fact of the people who could see him. Perhaps because Alatar doesn't care if people see him-- or perhaps Hotaka pulled the trigger to soon intentionally.
It was hard to say when two minds occupied one body, but in most cases like this...
Alastar had command.
Reiko Touyama jumps back on the small foot bridge as Alastar comes down at her! What did she do to deserve this!? "I'm not.. fish food! Ya know!" she says as she gets back onto her feet and begins, indeed, running away. She's small-- not athletic, but she's able to loose herself past a group of people. (Who are now staring as people begin running away because HOLY CRAP MONSTER DEMON THING!)
She dives into a bush.... and yanks out her crystal.
"CHROMA PRISM ORANGE! TRANSFORM!"
The Crystal turns into a wand, as Reiko transforms into Prism Keeper Orange-- it's a short transformation squence that features two koi that tie a bow in her hair- one terms into a koi shaped bow clip!
She flys up and out of the brush upwards- just straight from the bushes-- taking some flowers with her as she tries to get skyward on those little fairy wings.
She turns around and points her Chroma Wand into the direction of Alastar. "I'm going to-- um... Orange Rush!" she calls out as she fires a vibrant orange beam of light from the tip of the wand at the pursing 'demon'.
"You stay back!" she demands!
She runs and so do the people. His eyes gleam with glee and he can not help but smile. "That's it! Run! All of you!" He then laughs, though a voice reminds him of the people with this and he huffs to the side. "I can be cleaned up later." He murmurs to himself, before he leaps into the air to chase after her.
Only there is a flash of bright light and he flips back with a flap of his wings and lands back down on the ground. "So you are..." He then watches her jump out and blast her orange light in his direction. His foot slides back before he roars out, "Demon Wall!!" Then places out his armored right arm as a massive blue flames erupt outward and around.
The beam impacts the shield and he slides back on his feet a bit. His red eyes narrow gently before he places out his left hand. Demonic fire forms in the air as it takes the shape of a the demonic scimitar-like sword called the Daemon Breaker.
He uses his right arm then to knock the light away, before he goes to leap up at her and swings the blade down in a cleaving slash.
Reiko Touyama flies pretty much like a drunk butterfly. She's so incredibly new to this magical combat thing. She'd only done it once- and that was.. helping Red with the Shade not even just a week ago. When she got her Crystal. But now she's alone, facing something that tried to pounce her!
She gasps as her blast is deflected--- and now he's leaping into the air. She tries to dodge right, but- being a drunk butterfly means the opposite happens, putting her into the path of the sword and causing her to free fall for a bit.
She slapshes into the koi pond below, scating the fish to the FAR other end of the pool as she huffs and stands in water that's up to her tummy.
She flys back into the air, hovering over the pound, as she points her chroma wand at Alastar. From the tip of the wand, magical, vibrant koi explode forth, one after another, all trying to seek thier target of the demon. They don't do much besides try to collide with the demon and explode into heart shaped sparkles- which will probably hurt!
Alastar watches the young girl impact into the water and he kept help but find himself smirk, even just slightly chuckle. Damnit Hotaka! Though when she leaps back into the air, his red eyes watch her. "You are out of your league, hero!" He roars out.
As she fires her magical koi his wings flaps and he sails up high, then his wings wrap around him as he spirals downward. The koi following him no doubt as he tries to break them off his six, like a jet fighter trying to shake missiles almost.
He opens his wings and uses the momentum to propel him back up, however before he can fully recover a few of those magic koi find their target and explode in hearts, and while the force wasn't heavy-- it was distracting enough!
Alastar slams back down into the ground, rolling a bit before he slides back to his feet. "Not bad." He says with a smug grin. "Just not good enough!" The armored right hand glows with demonic flame as the orb settles above his palm. It then splits into the three, before he twirls his body ad throws out his hand.
The three demonic orbs of fire then go racing right for Reiko!
Reiko Touyama manages to hit Alastar with her flurry of low power but rapid koi. She beams. "Ahaha--I hit him!" of course, that's just a couple of hits- nothing major. The jerks still in the game. But so is she!
She watches as the demon charges an energy orb EXACTLY like she's seen in about every action Anime ever. It's like she inately knows what's coming! She throws her wand up and forward.. "S..Scale Barrier!" she calls out--- a sudden wall of orange being formed between her and the orbs with the pattern of a koi's scale on it. One weakens the shield.... Two causes to form a glowing crack! and the third goes right through it, knocking her back down into the ground this time. At least she stopped two out of three!
So she's still in the game. She then fires off a larger koi at the demon from the tip of her wand.. "KOI CHARGE!" she yells out as the koi flys towards Alastar, trying to collide with him like some sort of fishy rocket projecticle swimming fast through the air!
As she launches the attacks, koi in tiny skirts fly out behind her with pompoms on thier fins wave them out once then explode into heart shaped sparkles.
She blinks again. That keeps happening. Maybe she shouldn't had drawn herself so--- animated for Mei's story. >,>
Alastar watches the rocket fish come in and tsks softly. He waits this time and times it to flip out of the way as it explodes in hearts, glitters, and all that good cheer. He back flips again as more come, before he leaps up on top of a street lamp.
"Hmm." He does a smile. "I think that is enough games for now. Don't you think so?" He chuckles, before his opens his wings fully. "Maybe next time we can be more serious!" He then takes off straight up into the air.
Just-- what was that all about?
Reiko Touyama eyes go wide as Alastar stands on a lamp-post says something snarky, and begins to fly away. "H-Hey! You can't attack me and run away!" she says angrily, puffing her cheeks >:I.
She tries to fly after him, but she's not fast enough--or agile enough as she gets high up! Higher up than she's EVER been.
"Nrrrrrg! Next time you.. you winged jerk!" she says as she shakes her fist.
Then she looks down and realizes how high she is. "A..A-hh!" she closes her eyes and begins to fall--- she manages to catch herself before she hits down on the path in the garden.
"Just... what did that jerk want with me!?" she asks aloud.
Then she notices some people who were hiding behind a bench staring at her.
"Ah--------!" she says surprised. "Just your.. friendly neighorhood Prism Keeper!" she says, flashes an awkward smile and begins flying off over the fence and away somewhere to safetly get out of her transformation.
