Sayaka hasn't visited Kyouko at her apartment for a while, and with the dire situation of things recently, she's become increasingly worried of the red headed girl. Is she eating properly? Is she still working hard at the conbenie in spite of everything? Or is she spending all her time fighting youma and draining all her energy?
With a sigh, she reaches Kyouko's apartment and slips in through the front door after someone walks out, rushing to her floor and knocking on her door. Although Kyouko did give her a spare key, Sayaka still feels a bit nervous just barging in.
"Kyou-chan? Are you there?" she calls out anxiously.
It's not long after their adventure to the thrift store! Momo's still in the t-shirt and shorts she stole/borrowed from Kyouko, having decided to wash everything (plus Kyouko's clothes) tomorrow.
When there's a knock at the door, Dog looks up from his spot on the couch, sniffs the air, then rests his head on his paws again.
Momo humphs! "What if it's a burglar?"
In response, Dog lets out a snore.
Momo hums as she goes to the front door. She wonders who it is! How many friends does Kyouko have? Ohhh, she wants to meet lots!
She opens the door and opens her mouth, but when she sees who it is, she shrinks back a bit and hides behind the door.
And, with a shyness she hasn't felt since coming back, she looks up at Sayaka with large eyes. "Kyou-nee's not home, Sayaka-san."
Yes. She's seen the picture!
Sayaka arches a brow when the door opens..To reveal a strange girl she's never met, but who seems to resemble Kyouko in many ways even if she is a bit younger. "Oh? who are you?" She offers the girl and warm and friendly smile, peeking in the apartment and spying a cute dog snoozing further in.
Huh, and a dog too? How strange, has Kyouko recently adopted a kid or something? She pays little attention to the sister reference; Perhaps she's just an acquaintance at work who grew close to Kyouko, but how come the red head never mentioned her before?
Trying not to think about it too much - Kyou-chan's always been kinda secretive - Sayaka attempts to step into the apartment. "Hey, don't be afraid! My name is Sayaka Miki! I'm err...A close friend of Kyou-chan's!" she hesitates to call it more than that, still uncertain of what they are, exactly.
"I know that, silly." Still shy, but now with a grin. One little fang popping out...
She opens the door to let Sayaka in! (Even if she wanted to, which she doesn't, Kyou-nee would be mad if she shut the door on Sayaka's face! Plus that would just be rude!)
She blinks for a moment, though. Oh noes! Kyouko hadn't had time to tell Sayaka!
"Momo Sakura..." Then, as she closes the door, she's on the defensive! "You can't get mad at her, okay! I just found her a couple days ago, okay! And things happened! So if you get mad at Kyou-nee, I'mma...hafta kick your toe!"
She can't kick anything else! This is Kyou-nee's not really almost sort of lady friend!
Sayaka relaxes when the girl seems to accept her into the apartment. A quick glance around confirms that Kyouko's not here, but if she left this girl behind and on her own, surely she must be trustworthy..? She bluenette continues to smile gently at the girl as she looks around. Hmm, dog must belong to the girl, although she doesn't try to become acquainted with it just yet..
Glancing back at momo, she arches a brow at the name..An expression that goes from surprised to shock to...Disbelief when she mentions her last name. "Whaat? wait a minute, but...But I thought Kyou-chan's sister died years ago! How's that even possible!?"
Then she remembers how Naomi had mentionned a new Puella in town going by the name of Momo..Surely that's a different Momo..Right?
She sighs, rubbing her temples, trying to figure this out. Okay..So if she's here, Kyouko obviously trusts her, but is her story for real? "Don't worry, I wont be mad with Kyou-chan..I'm guessing you're pretty new to town, right? What...What exactly happened?" and why's her hair white? How odd..
"Oh, I did! But I got better!" Less shy now, she goes back to curl up on the couch, disrupting Dog's nap. He gets revenge by using her lap as a pillow.
Then she shrugs! "At the north pole. I heard Sailor Moon's wish, and Kubey heard my wish."
Another shrug!
Then she gives a bit of a nod! "Sorta! Kinda!" She hums in thought. "Yes? No?" She shrugs. "I dunno if I'm new or not. Is two months new? Or has it been three...five? Four?"
Another shrug!
"Err...." She just...Stares blankly, warily even, at the girl as she shrugs it off so easily. "Sooo, this was Sailormoon's doing? But I thought that only affected people who were directly killed during that battle.." Sayaka scratches her head, trying to figure this out. If Momo's alive..Does that mean everyone in the world who ever died was brought back to life or...?
Thenn...She mentions that dreaded name, and Sayaka's eyes narrow. "Kyubey, huh...Soooo you're a Puella Magi, now?" damn that Kyubey. Since when could he grant wishes beyond the grave?
"Oh wait, so are you saying that it was your wish to live too? Or did you wish for something else? I mean, it's not edxactly the best time to be a Puella, although to be honest, being a Puella is never the best thing.."
Just how much did Kyou-chan fill her in on things, anyway?
Momo hums in thought. "No, Sailor Moon didn't bring me back. I just heard her wish and say Kyou-nee. And I wished really loud that I can go back to her. I think it may have been...special circumstances? I don't know!"
She scritches Dog's head, looking him over for fleas. "I know it's a bad time. But I've been doing good! And I got Kyou-nee, so." She looks up at Sayaka and beams! "It's okay if it ends up bad, it's the nows that matter!"
Sayaka nods slowly....How very strange, that Kyubey was able to hear her wish from beyond the grave. She did not realize he was that powerful. "Hmmm...I see.." She continues to frown however, not liking this somehow.
"I suppose Kyou-chan must be thrilled to have her little sis back.." Sayaka does manage a small smile for the girl, but the whole thing just doesn't seem right. Why couldn't she come back as just a normal girl..?
Slowly, the blue-haired girl sits down on the sofa, watching the younger girl as she plays with the dog. "I'm sure that Kyou-chan will take very good care of you and your dog..What's her name, by the way?"
Momo nods! "She is! Now that she knows I'm not fake!"
She scoots just a little to give Sayaka some room.
"This is Dog! He was kinda shy at first, but I shared my food with him." She sighs down at Dog and pokes his nose. Dog lifts his head, turns it to the side, and sneezes before settling back down. Such a polite Dog!
"Kyou-nee says we'll try to keep him here, but she's not sure if she'll get in trouble or not."
Her face crumbles! But she hides it in Dog's back! "I don't wanna get rid of Dog! He's my best friend, even if I tell people he has rabies! But I don't want Kyou-nee to get in trouble!"
"Dog..." she arches a brow. Is that really his name. What a weird name. "Oh, okay...Nice to meet you, Dog!" she offers the dog a hand, while trying to figure out this strange and quirky girl. "I'm sure Kyou-chan will let you keep him here regardless. She's pretty resourceful that way." another restrained smile.
"So...Do you enjoy being a Puella? You dont find it scary?" she sure seems chipper..For an undead girl..
She sniffles and wipes her eyes in Dog's coat. Gosh, it's dusty in here!
She looks up at Sayaka with large, wet eyes. "You think so?"
Plus, hadn't Kyouko said they'd find a place, if nothing else? A friend (or Sayaka) he could stay with?
Dog sniffs at Sayaka's hand for a moment before giving it a couple licks. Uh oh! Looks like her hand will smell like doggy breath for the rest of the day!
Momo nods! "Of course it's scary! Each one's different." She shrugs. "I don't...hate it? I probably should, but. I'm learning stuff! Like how you gotta let a gunlance charge a bit if you want more power!"
Sayaka chuckles as Dog licks her hand. She doesn't seem to mind terribly if her hand might smell of dog breath after, and just wipes it on her skirt like it's nothing. "He seems pretty well behaved, so either way..." she bites her lip, pondering if her parents would let her keep a dog. "I guess I could always ask my parents if we could keep him if worse comes to worse.."
When Momo gives an honest answer to her other question, she smiles and relaxes. Smart girl, just like her sister. "Yeah, I guess you just get used to it. Sometimes it can even be fun. Well I'm glad you at least have your sister to watch over you. I dont think I could have survived long if it werent for Kyou-chan.."
Momo agrees very much! "I think he used to have other people. He can sit and stuff."
It makes her sad to think about, but then again, she has Dog now! Yay!
She looks up at Sayaka and grins. "Me, too! Kyou-nee's good at lookin' out for people. And lots of times, she made sure I got the bigger portion!"
