Even for Hannah, hiding something like bullet wounds is difficult. And so, Hannah Sharpe is 'home sick', as far as anyone knows. Horrible flu, and Infinity's medical ward is denying all visitors.
Miss White, on the other hand, is free to roam. She gets odd looks as she pays for some coffee from a street vendor, but unlike Sailor V, it'd be hard to out her as a magical girl on appearance alone. Just some strangely dressed punk like so many others.
And so Miss White returns to the scene of the crime, finding herself a bench. She lets out a little sigh of relief as a quick Area Search shows the Witch's Barrier is well and truly gone.
"...What a disaster." She mutters to herself, wincing. While her arm's healed, those gunshot wounds are still nasty. Letting herself drift off for a moment, she simply enjoys the feel of sunlight on her skin.
Amaya is well... broken ribs are bad, and she does not like hospitals. Right now there is a hospital bed for her, and she has just snuck out of the hospital. She got the pain killers that they left at her bedside and left.
Amaya is definitely curious as she makes her way back to the scene from last night. Her ribs poking at her, causing a dull, sharp pain that is tolerable thanks to the pain killers. She has even stopped by home to let her parents know that she is okay after a 'Hit and Run' accident that she told the hospital.
Now Amaya spots a familiar face, and starts to make her way over to Miss White, quietly. It doesn't take long, but she gets a few feet away, enough to stay out of reach. "Hmm... Why does evil return to the scene of the crime?"
There's a noise, and Miss White doesn't bother looking towards the girl. Wind Divination tells her all she needs to know, and the gesture likely wouldn't earn her many points.
"...Oh. You are the one from last night." The girl that Homura gave a golf club. And took out a Familiar rather violently. There's an odd smile on her face at the memory.
"To reminisce over the eve of my victory!" There's a faux villainous laugh here. Yup, she's hamming it up Tomoe style.
Then with a real laugh, she slumps back. Wince. Ow.
"Actually, I was concerned that you all had left a Familiar or two alive. Violent creatures, people might get killed if they just run free. But it looks like any escapees have already fled, or they are all dead. One plus from the night I guess."
Another grunt, and she sips her coffee.
"For the record, bullet wounds are terrible. Avoid them. Who are you, anyway? Most people run away when they see things like that. You took a golf club to a monster's kneecaps." There's honest respect in her voice.
Amaya sighs very gently, "Violently yes, but that Familiar seemed more like it was already dead... The blood was already coagulated.. Odd that it's body can still function like that."
Amaya shakes her head gently, then goes to sit on the bench, carefully. "There is no victory for what you are doing.." She closes her eyes trying her best to block out the pain.
"I am just a teenage girl that has several cracked ribs and a few broken ribs at the moment. Also, I snuck out of the hospital.."
She carefully leans back against the bench with a bit of pain showing in her face.
Hannah chuckles a bit. "You give it too much credit. Treat it like an expression of hatred. More of a concept than anything that was once alive. One that just wants to tear your head off. So be careful about getting around things like that. You will not always get so lucky as to have that girl around." Comes the magical girl sternly.
A brow rises. "Big talk for someone that only just met me. Do you even know what I am after? I assure you, victory is one thing that is possible. Your friends with the speeches about justice are just fools. Try not to let them fill your head up with false words, no matter how well meaning." Hypocrisy is high on this one.
After a sigh, she scoots over on the bench. "Sit down. You are just going to strain them if you keep standing up. Here, drink. Might keep your mind off the pain." Coffee might help, perhaps. One of those fancy espressos: from Galaxybucks.
Amaya refuses everything, and will just deal with the pain at the moment, "Lets just say we forget about the word justice for now. What were you after in that mess?"
"Should I have brought my bo staff with me this time?" She glances to to Miss White, "So if I recall, you call yourself Miss White.. You robbed a bank, and the people last night just started to attack you for no reason for the most part. They got in your way because you were trying to catch that thing alive, but they wanted it dead?" That is all she got from last night. "I didn't see too much justice in their actions last night, just blind prejudice."
Amaya closes her eyes, "I still think you should turn yourself in from robbing that bank though. Justice to me is about keeping the innocent people safe."
"If you keep getting into trouble like last night? You should start carrying it with you all the time. Not that it will do too much good against a strong familiar or a Witch." Comes Hannah before shaking her head.
She's silent for a moment, taking in the girl's words. She certainly has a unique perspective, and a level head.
"Alright. You seem like you have a bit of common sense to you, so here it goes. Witches 101: the big thing I tried to capture? It is called a Witch. Big honking monster filled with terrible emotions that likes to cause feels of hate, depression, violence wherever it happens to set up shop. That thing you stepped into? It is called a Barrier. Most Witches like to draw in people like you and eat them for breakfast. The little creatures? Familiars. Think of them like little robots or minions of the Witch."
Then, a nod. "All I know right now. Point being, that the girls that fought me all admittedly had a decent reason for wanting it dead. Frankly? I want it dead too." Explains Hannah.
"Every single one of them. Problem is, a lot of the time, they have a nasty habit of bringing themselves back to life. There is a way around that, but that is something of a secret for others to share. Keep confidence, that sort of thing."
"But that particular solution is extremely inefficient, and dangerous. There has to be a better way. And in order to find out what that is? I need to study one in a controlled environment. Pick it apart, understand the thing down to its roots. Find every single weakness that can be exploited, then make a weapon or a technique that takes advantage of it." Her legs cross, and she sips her coffee.
"And unfortunately, my partner has a horrible lack of that thing called 'diplomacy'. I was going to explain it to them, maybe get a few to help, but..." She rolls her eyes.
"Oh well. Cannot pick your partner sometimes I suppose."
She just laughs. "And what? A girl robbed a bank with a pair of knuckledusters and robot gangsters? The police would /love/ that one! I would get laughed out of the building, or screened for drugs."
"Too much training to let my emotions to completely take over me, but I did kind of scream at the top of my lungs in anger.. Any other day I would not have done that.. Fear though.." She sighs a bit.
"Capturing it alive would seem to be the better choice at that point." She nods a little bit, "If I had powers of my own, I would be more than happy to help you catch one to study it, but I will not fight against you, or the other girls. At least as long as you don't hurt any innocent people. If you ever do, you will have me on your tail in no time." Amaya quickly seems to forget the power gap...
Hannah rubs the side of her head. "Hard to predict how a Witch effects people. You were standing despite and not trying to kill yourself, so, you are at least a cut above others. I am not immune to it either." Indeed, her blood gets horribly hot in a Witch Labyrinth.
The woman closes her eyes, pondering. "That is my thinking. But, I am not the type to hold grudges. You want to help, do you? Think you can withstand the emotional burden?"
The woman 'looks' Amaya in the face. "Make no mistake. If you come along with me, you are risking your life. You got /lucky/ last night. Are you really ready to die? Do you have parents? Siblings? Friends?" Two hands reach for Amaya's shoulders, and sightless eyes stare at her.
"I like bravery, but this is not something to just rush into. You could seriously be killed even /if/ you have powers like me. Here." She lets go, and pulls out a number to a burner phone.
"Take a few days, think about it. Spend some time with the people you love. Then call me. Once you get on this train, only thing you can do is ride or leap off. And the landing can be messy, trust me.
A bitter little chuckle. "Yeah. I do not want to hurt innocent people either. I have enough on my soul, I like sleeping at night. Promise me you will treat this with the gravity it deserves?" Comes Hannah seriously.
Amaya looks away from Miss White, and looks around the park a little bit. "I have my parents. They are worried sick about me right now, and even tried to keep me from going out just a little while ago. They even know I snuck out of the hospital. That, they are fine with though."
"I'm well built, very tough thanks for all the muscle that gets me called an Amazon in school, along with my height. I have a few friends at school, but no one really that close. The people that get along with me are pretty much just the people in clubs that deal with sports."
Amaya is then quiet for a little bit, "It might be more than just a couple of days. If you don't mind that.. I mean, broken ribs take a long time to heal.. I can't wait until they mend themselves..."
"Oh? Some kind of sports demon? What school do you go to?" Asks Hannah conversationally.
And then she stands up, reaching up to get a measure of Amaya's height. "...Wow, they are not kidding." She's small by comparison!
A swat to her back. "Then we will get along just fine." A little hint there, as an olive branch.
"Take all the time you need. I have a few backup plans anyway. And try to stay out of trouble, alright?" Then she just sighs.
"Is what I would like to say, but I have a feeling that is not in the cards."
Amay gives Miss White a glare for a moemnt, "Sports demon...?" She sighs a bit, letting her face return to neutral.
The swat to Amaya's back sends pain shooting through her and the look on her face is just that of pain. If it wasn't for her broken ribs she might of reached out to throw a punch at the shorter girl, but that would just cause even more pain, "Don't... do... that... My ribs, remember..?"
"No... It is going to be the case until I heal.. Rapid movement and other motions of the like will just cause me more problems I don't want right now, unless I have an increased healing factor. In that case, I do not.."
Woops. Hannah lets out a little titter as she stands up. Then winces. She too in clunching her stomach. There's a little red under the bandages now.
".../Right/. Uh, sorry. But still, good, heal up okay? Who knows, maybe I will see you around." She too isn't exactly high in the healing department.
STanding, she offers a wave, and in a burst of magic the girl is gone.
