It's cool and comfortable, however, which makes it a better day than most. The sun is nowhere to be seen, but it seems to be a few hours after noon. <br /><br /> Kukai Souma is sitting up in his bed, drumming his fingers, tapping away at his phone, playing some simple little game to keep himself occupied. Bed and phone games and television and books are not his style, so he feels a little irritable. Kukai is alone in the room at the moment, with only a nearby box of baked goods to keep him company. <br /><br /> The long bandage from his upper left shoulder that leads down into his gown diagonally is enough to keep him here, as well as the padding around his ribs. Much of the worst of the bruising and cuts over him are gone, however. He appears to be recovering well.

He looks around the room for a moment with his eyes - Daichi had been so bored he'd decided to go exploring, and Kukai had agreed - but then focuses on Miss White and Haruna. <br /><br /> "Hi..." His voice is full of trepidation and defiant nerves. "It wasn't exactly a trick. You knocked me into a diner and had it cave in on top of me." He looks back and forth at the two of them. "Well. I'm not all right but I will be. My brother will be back soon, too." Kukai looks like he's in the middle of deciding fight-or-flight, and so far in his history he's always chosen fight.

"Well it started personal. That heart's egg you stole was from a personal friend of mine under my protection. I... don't know how to explain it, but she had another dream grow inside her during all this, so she's all right, but still. I felt like I had to get it back." He holds up a hand. "Before you get started I know it's already gone - I believe you, strange as that sounds - but still."

Your brothers are coming by again and I~" He skids to a stop in midair as he sees Haruna and Hannah, going stiff and scared. "... you guys! What're you doing to Kukai!" The shoes are getting closer.
