She takes another sip of coffee. "She started to drain energy, and I asked her if she was planning on killing me, and she pointed out that killing humans was silly as she needed to feed off them. I never did get a name, but she was once human, and is no longer, and is coping poorly with the transition. Very rapid mood swings. Apparently she can never make the drain entirely pain free, so no subtle possible, and she usually drains quickly so they pass out quickly, but with me? I suspect the conversation was just confusing enough, or I ticked her off enough, that she wanted to make it hurt longer."

She still had some level of curiosity as well, she could be engaged in conversation, even if I couldn't always predict her reactions."
