He is fully aware of just how ridiculous, in this era, that phrasing is.<br /><br />The one he leads her to appears to be the one that the temporary furniture migrated to when they doubled the seating in the main one. Its own set of glass doors, this time intact, leading out onto a separate balcony. It's not even university-student decoration, so much as university-student still in the process of moving in.
