|Synopsis=Set during Chisato Akemi's visit, Homura and Madoka talk about their mothers and each other while getting ready for bed and going to sleep, and then waking up the following morning.

Given the size of it it took a while, but why not show off all those terraces, balconies, bedrooms, and walk in closets? Seriously though, ''the walk in closets''!<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Eventually Chisato was shown where she would be staying, the guest room. The guest room which Madoka had all but taken over for herself. Not that it had been completely redecorated, but the bed was by now filled with a great number of her stuffed animals, and there were several various pictures of Homura on the nightstand, luckily none of her in henshin- that would have been embarrassing and hard to explain! It was already embarrassing enough, but at least Chisato seemed to like cute things, and it really did make sense for Homura's mother to have access to the private bath tub while she was staying over.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Some time later and it was time to go to sleep, Madoka having called her parents and let them know she'd be staying over with Homura. Part of that was pretty much never wanting to spend a night away from Homura if she could help it, both because sleepytime cuddles are the best and because she sleeps a lot better next to her girlfriend. The other part was because there was some obvious issues to work out between Homura and her family and that awkwardness was going to lead to stress, stress Madoka could help avert or work out by being there for her.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;And so she is here, dressed in a light and modest but frilly pair of pink pajamas. Her hair is down, ribbons carefully set down where they'll be safe until tomorrow. Because she wants to and she's thinking it might help her relax Madoka has decided to brush Homura's hair, the veteran Puella sitting on the edge of the bed. Madoka sits right behind her with crossed legs and the hairbrush set next to her, because the first thing she's going to do is give Homura an invigorating scalp massage to get the blood flowing to it and hopefully relax her hair follicles a bit.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;If she's going to brush her girlfriends gorgeous hair she might as well do her best!<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I was really surprised that she came to visit, but I think it will be a good thing in the end. It probably would have been better if she called ahead, but if she lost your phone number there probably wasn't any helping it." As she talks her fingers push into Homura's hair, fingertips pressing to Homura's scalp while rubbing and squeezing in small circles, using firm but comfortable pressure.

:'''{{#var:23|Homura Akemi| (23)}} has posed:'''<br><span></span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Chisato was proud and impressed by Homura's house, though when Homura explained that she got it cheap it made a little more sense. Homura successfully avoided the subject of the mysterious deaths in the house, not wanting to worry her mother further.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Chisato ''was'' curious when she found the room full of plushies, though it suddenly made sense to hear that it was Madoka's influence that made it so. Certainly the fact that Homura had found someone so cute to be with made her happy. She didn't want to say it, but she was worried that Homura might not find anyone at all.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura's house is more than large enough to accommodate a lot of guests, and in spite of everything she'd make room for her own mother. However, a part of Homura is happy that the house is big enough for the two of them to avoid each other when they want to.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The veteran Puella is wearing a pair of violet pajamas, because she's in a cutesy mood and feels like being cutesy while her girlfriend brushes her hair. Her legs dangle off the edge of the bed, and she smiles sweetly at the scalp massage her darling gives her. It ''is'' nice, being able to relax and be cared for. Though it does show a sharp contrast between Homura's interactions with Madoka and her interactions with Chisato, and thinking about that does foul her mood a little. Maybe it's not fair to compare them.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Still, Homura has trusted Madoka with her hair for a long time now, and not once has she been given reason to regret it. Besides, she likes the idea of Madoka touching and playing with her hair, admiring it and feeling its softness against her skin.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Honestly, my biggest complaint is that I wish she'd come around more often. I don't mind that she didn't call ahead. Showing up at school was good enough." Homura's tone indicates that she has a bit more to complain about, but she almost doesn't want to ruin the moment. Right now, things are nice, her hair is being brushed, and she's about to cuddle her girlfriend.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I think the fact that even she lost my number to begin with more or less says it all. Though, I'm actually not sure if I ''gave'' her my new number, which makes it even worse. I mean, it isn't completely their fault. From ''my'' perspective I haven't seen them in over a decade. In their mind they've only been gone about a year, and they ''did'' call on my birthday."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She sighs, and then thinks about it. "No, when I texted them my address, my number was attached to that. They could've called from that. It's just..."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"It's not that I hate my parents. I don't resent them. They haven't abused me or been cruel to me. At the same time they've always been distant, even when I lived with them."

She nods a little and makes affirmative sounds as Homura speaks so she knows she's listening, letting Homura say her piece without interruption. She smiles a little more when Homura says she'd like her mother to come by more often, and lets out a quiet, "Eheh..." at the note of forgetting her new phone number and address.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The massage over Madoka lifts the brush after carefully gathering a handful of Homura's hair before running the brush through it slowly and carefully to work out tangles, followed by more strokes to line the strands up nicely so they fall together as a sheet that reflects light as evenly as possible. She takes the time to enjoy brushing her girlfriends hair, but doesn't go too slowly, because post hair brushing cuddles are not something she's out to avoid.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I think she'd be happy to visit more often if you let her know you'd like to see her more," Madoka suggests. She smiles to herself, eyes focused on her task, "Your mom seems really sweet and cute, Homura-chan. I felt a little sorry for her because she didn't seem to know quite what to do, especially since you're so different from how she remembered you."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Madoka giggles softly, "Though ''I'' don't think you're any less caring and cute you are a lot more confident." She then lets out a small sigh, shaking her head, "Though it is kind of strange she didn't come see you sooner. They did call you on your birthday and that was sweet, but even a year is a long time not to see you." At the mention of Homura's parents being distant Madoka considers aloud, "Your mom seems like the kind of person who has a hard time knowing how to deal with people in general."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;After a moment she realizes that sounds kind of bad and adds, "I-I mean, when she seemed unsure she kinda froze."

The visit was unexpected, but that's not really it. There's never a ''bad'' time for Homura's mother to come visit, though there are certainly times that are more convenient than others. The feeling of Madoka brushing through her hair is soothing. Homura always liked being close to Madoka, and while brushing her hair may seem like a small thing, it's not something that Homura would ever allow from someone she couldn't trust.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura listens to what Madoka says about her impressions of Chisato. Her brows furrow, her eyes narrow, and her mouth frowns. She's contemplating something unpleasant, and... actually a bit unfortunate.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Is that what you're telling me? That she's just shy? That she went my whole life seemingly ignoring me because she didn't know how to approach me?" Her head tilts down, her tone getting a little more sour. It's not as if ''I'' knew how to handle people either, and it's not as if she could teach me. How could I have done anything different?"<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It's difficult even to contemplate, to put years of perceived rejection and neglect in that kind of light... is that really all there was to it? That's almost infuriating.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I spent so long thinking that I was nothing but a burden, that no one really cared, that I only ever made trouble for everyone I came across. That's what I was thinking about, when you first rescued me from that Witch, so many timelines ago. How ''useless'' I was."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She gnashes her teeth, seeming to growl for a moment, but after a while she takes a deep breath and tries to regain her calm. "She didn't say it, but actually I've had a lot of fights with them. Fights with my father over whether or not I was 'good enough'. Fights with my mother over which one of us was pushing the other away more. Who even knows who started it at this point? It doesn't even matter."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She turns her head, just slightly enough to look at Madoka out of the corner of her eye. "I had completely given up on them, but things are so different now. I'm not as weak as I used to be. I don't know... do you think it's worth it, trying to fix things?"

Helping some is better than not helping at all, and what she starts with scalp massages and hair brushing she imagines she can continue with hugs and cuddles later.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I don't know how she was back then, but that's how she seems to me now," Madoka offers, not taking personally any of Homura's sourness, knowing it's her parents that she's upset with.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When Homura tells her she thought her own parents didn't want anything to do with her Madoka leans forward, setting the brush down for a moment and hugging her around the shoulders. "I didn't know it was so bad. I'm sorry things were that difficult for you, Homura-chan." She nuzzles her cheek into the side of her girlfriends head, turning her head and giving her a kiss to the temple while squeezing her tightly again before releasing her again.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I never thought you were a burden, I know that much. Even when you still had heart trouble you were a good friend to have." Madoka separates out another lock of hair and resumes brushing, listening as Homura continues speaking. Her own expression is a mix of sympathy and sadness. When Homura finishes speaking she says in a quiet voice, "I think it's worth it. Even if you'd given up on them they're still your parents. Maybe now that you know you don't need to rely on them, that you can't possibly be a burden it will be easier to talk to them?"<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;On a sadder note she adds even more quietly, "And if you can't, well, I guess you'd already moved on anyway. I think if she didn't want to try to make things up to you your mother wouldn't be here, though."

It's not going to solve all of Homura's problems, but it does make her feel better to have one person listening to her. Besides, Madoka isn't that far off in her judgement about Chisato.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Oh I doubt she's changed that much. You're probably right. I mean... I must've gotten my shyness from somewhere, right?"<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura leans into the hug, fully accepting the support that Madoka is giving her. When her cheek is nuzzled, she nuzzles back, closing her eyes to enjoy the feeling of closeness. When she's released, she sits up a bit more straight, to let her girlfriend continue to brush her hair.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I guess that's it. She clearly wanted some kind of interaction. Yet at the same time something was clearly bothering her and she wasn't opening up to me. Then again, I don't know... maybe it's okay to let people have their secrets. I mean, we've got plenty of our own." 'Our' secrets, since being a magical girl is definitely a shared secret.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"It would be nice... to have my parents around on our wedding day. I think I'd be really sad if my side of the family was just absent. I know that's a long ways off, but I think if I'm going to fix things that it'll require a lot of work."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With a wry smile, Homura adds, "Who knows? Maybe things will be different this time. I'm obviously not kicking her out of my life. If she wants to be around I'm not going to tell her no."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Her fingers tap on the edge of the bed, and her legs cross at the ankles. She keeps her head mostly still, allowing Madoka to brush through her silky black locks to her heart's content. The tangles are few and far between, which is one of the benefits of taking constant care of your hair. Also, it's not as if they fought a Witch tonight.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Still, even if I make that effort, they need to make an effort, too. It has to come from both ends, or it's a waste of my time. I hate saying that about my own family, but one-sided relationships aren't."

Madoka replies, giggling slightly both because she finds that shyness in both Homura and her mother cute and because there were several other things that Madoka noticed similar between them. Now isn't the time to bring those up though, probably.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Madoka nods and is quick to agree, "I don't think she would have come to visit you if she didn't want to interact with you. If she was only trying to settle some old fight I don't think she would have gone so long without bringing it up." She then lets out a soft sigh at the mention of secrets, because she knows very well herself that it's hard having to keep their shared secret from her parents. <br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Sometimes it really is better to keep secrets, though, you taught me that." A quick shake of her head, "I'm not saying that's necessarily true now, though." It is a fact she's learned to deal with herself after learning from Homura how much harm the truth can cause when that truth is awful enough.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I'd be very sad if your parents weren't there for that. I think at the very least we should try to make up with them enough that they'd want to be there for us when we get married." After a moment she adds, "I don't think it's too early to start worrying about something like that, not when it's so important." Madoka then smiles and notes happily, "Your mom seemed to think we were pretty cute as a couple though. I was a little worried just because I didn't know what to think, but she was very nice to me. It must have been a real surprise to hear you were in a long term relationship."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The last locks of Homura's hair have been brushed, and Madoka sets one hand on the bed before leaning over and stretching, setting the brush down on a nightstand. Technically she's done, but with her girlfriends hair brushed out she takes some time to admire and enjoy it, petting over the silky and shiny blackness, combing her fingers through it lightly for another minute before crawling backwards on the bed. She reaches for Homura's hand and grasps it lightly before tugging it encouragingly, "Ready to cuddle, my one and only Homura-chan?"<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She starts trying to push the covers aside in order to climb under them with Homura, nodding in agreement, "They do, but maybe that's why she's here? Maybe it's only a little effort, but it is the first step towards trying to make things right. I don't know if that's why she's here, but it could be."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;It could be, and Madoka thinks it would be very nice if that was true.

Her mother coming back into her life reopens old wounds, but... it's not as if being mad at her or fighting with her is going to make her come around more often. Homura decides that, after all, it's better to endure the small things in order to let the healthier parts of the relationship flourish. Homura ''needs'' there to not be a fight with her mother right now, regardless of problems.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Maybe it has nothing to do with us. For all I know, she came here to escape whatever was bothering her." Almost as soon as she says it, Homura kind of doesn't believe it, but it's a plausible ''theory'' anyways. "It's okay, though. Whatever it is, I'm sure things will turn out fine. It's just a question of how much trouble we'll come across before we get to that 'fine' state."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura smiles as Madoka says that it's not too early, feeling maybe even a bit relieved. "Okay. I think that's a worthy goal to set. Make things right with my parents enough that they'll want to come to our wedding. Something like that... I think I could pursue it regardless of how difficult it gets."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura grunts at the idea that it was a surprise. "Well yeah, it was, but... well, she knows now, doesn't she?" She leans back against Madoka, resting her head on her girlfriend's shoulder, turning her head to the side so that Madoka can still access her luxurious locks of hair. "Thanks for trying to get along with her. I know you'd try to be nice to her anyways, even if she wasn't my mother, but it means a lot to me that you two can like each other." As her hand is taken, Homura turns her head a little bit more to look at Madoka. "Oh ''always'', my little angel."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As she climbs under the covers, she slips downward so that her head can rest on the pillow. Her arms slip around Madoka and hold her close, and her head gently rests on Madoka's shoulders. "I'm not too worried about why she's here. She's my mother and I'm her daughter. That's reason enough. If she wants to fix things, well... good. That can only work out for us in the long run, right?"

"Eheheh. Hopefully it won't be too much trouble, but even if it is so long as it turns out okay I'll be happy. I didn't know you had such a strained relationship with your parents though, Homura-chan. If I had I'd probably have tried to talk to you about it earlier."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She giggles softly, her petting of Homura's hair becoming affectionate rather than purely for enjoyment, "Anything that makes it easier for us to be together is among the worthiest goals. I want both of our parents to be there, and I want them to be happy for us. I want them to see how much we love each other and how much we mean to each other, even if they can't understand why. If getting there is difficult it'll be more than worth it."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Madoka settles her chin and cheek on Homura's head as it rests on her shoulder, happily combing fingers through her hair and enjoying the long silky locks as they flow between them. "I think I'd get along with her even if she wasn't your mother. It makes me sad to think that there's so much tension between the two of you." She can't help but sigh a little when she thinks of what little she knows of Homura's dad. Not that she's blaming him, but if he was the type to encourage discussion and actively try to resolve issues in his family she can't imagine Chisato and Homura would be at odds. Still, it isn't fair to blame people for being who they are, or at least Madoka doesn't think so.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;When they climb under covers together and Homura's arms go around her Madoka takes in a breath and lets it out as a relieved sigh, as if it was something she'd been waiting for all day. Because it really was. She wanted to brush Homura's hair and she got to, but that was something she wanted. This? This is something she ''needs''. Her arms go back around Homura and squeeze her close, and she settles down with her head on the pillow, her fluffy pink hair spreading out beneath her. Homura's head goes to her shoulder and she keeps a hand cupped to it, caressing the back of Homura's head sweetly and petting gently over her hair.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I think so, too," Madoka agrees about their relationship being reason enough for Chisato to come around. "It would be. I hope that's it." She's quiet for a little while, and her eyes look upwards, searching across the ceiling for nothing at all while her cheeks pinken and warm. Finally her eyes find Homura's and she says quietly, "Meeting your mom makes me a little excited. Your starting to become more a part of my family, but when we get married I'll be a part of yours too."

There was always a much bigger issue to deal with, and once those issues were resolved I was admittedly too relieved to think of anything else. Besides... to me, they're ancient history." She ducks her head a little. "I think... to a certain extent... I just forgot."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura smiles and leans into affectionate hairpettings. "I want that, too. If they can be there... if they can happy for us... I think I'd really love that. We're only getting married once, so I'd like for that day to be as good as it can be. For both of us." She's happy at the idea of Madoka getting along with Chisato, though when Madoka talks about the tension her smile fades just a little bit. "Well, that's my family. That's a lot of why we don't talk that much."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura nuzzles her cheek against Madoka's shoulder, and then tilts her head upwards to give her a soft kiss on the cheek. One of her hands moves up to playfully caress Madoka's pink hair, feeling the soft fluffiness against her palm.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She giggles at Madoka's excitement. "It is, isn't it? The two of us, joining each other's families." Her voice softens, conveying a quiet need. "I really want that. You mean so much to me. If I could really be with you forever... if I could really hold you and cuddle you and talk with you forever... spending every night with you and waking up the next day with you... I couldn't imagine anything better than that. I love you so much, Madoka-chan. You're everything to me. I'm so grateful to have you in my life."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She moves closer, closing her eyes, halfway rolling on top of Madoka, resting one leg on top of her girlfriend's while her other leg is nestled between Madoka's leg and the bed. She kisses Madoka softly on the neck, and then works her way forward, leaving a series of small kisses in her path. When Homura finally reaches Madoka's lips, she presses a small kiss there and holds it for several seconds, opening her eyes again to look into Madoka's.

It'd be really wonderful if our friends and families could be there with is. Maybe it shouldn't matter as much because I know I'm going to be with you no matter what anyway, but I still want to have a beautiful wedding day with you. If we do it right it should be something that everyone can enjoy and remember."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Madoka smiles at the kiss to her cheek, and shifts around a little to make it easier for Homura to get at her hair to play with it. "It's going to happen," she says with a happy smile, looking into Homura's eyes, "then everyone will know how much I love you and need you. I'll cuddle you to sleep every night and wake up in your arms every morning." Her expression softens even more, soft pink eyes gazing sweetly into purple, "I love you too, Homura-chan. I can't even begin to imagine what things would be like if I'd never met to, and I don't want to."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The pink-haired girl giggles again as Homura rolls partly on top of her, closing her eyes as her neck is kissed while rubbing her hand up and down Homura's back, squeezing her close both on top of her and to her side. She takes in a breath that's let out as a happy sigh as the kisses work their way across her face, lips puckering gently when Homura's press to them. To love and be loved, so purely and completely? It should be no surprise why Homura spends so much time with Madoka, nor should it be a surprise that others have started to see them as a single unit. But hearing her darling speak is good incentive not to, a quiet, slow little, "Hee hee hee," escaping her as Homura mentions her dream. It gets her mind going because she remembers talking about dreams and weddings and that reminds her where she is. That's right, she's at Homura's house and Chisato came to visit. With weddings and moms on the mind and her brain not quick enough to filter she questions aloud, "I wonder if your mom has wedding pictures... I want a sneak peak of you in a dress too."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Her name is spoken and she's nuzzled, and Madoka smiles sleepily and presses her cheek back into Homura's, nuzzling against it sweetly. Once she's a little more awake, she responds, "Well I ''have'' to get started early if I want to give you all my kisses. There're just so many."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Huh... a sneak peek of Homura in a dress? Her mother ''does'' look a lot like her, so in Homura's delirious mind it makes perfect sense to her. It doesn't quite occur to her that she should be blushing right now, because what Madoka just said would normally be very blush-inducing. The black-haired girl mumbles, "I'm sure if you asked she'd show you."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura nearly drifts back off to sleep, so comfortable as she is in Madoka's sweet embrace. When her name is spoken, it pulls her back into the waking world. "Mmhm." She breathes slowly in, and then slowly out. "I slept really good. How about you, my love?"<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As Madoka stretches out, Homura squeezes her tight. Eventually she decides that if Madoka is waking up then it's time for Homura to wake up for the day, too. She turns her head away from her girlfriend and her hand moves to cover her mouth as she yawns. Once it's done, the hand settles down on top of Madoka's outstretched arm.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Mmm. I'm glad." Her sleepy face starts to smile as she turns her head to nuzzle against Madoka's cheek. "Both that you slept well, and for the cuddles. Cuddling with you all morning long sounds like a wonderful idea."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Eventually her arm remembers that it belongs around Madoka, and moves back into its position behind her back, reaching around to grip the pink-haired girl's opposite shoulder. Homura breathes deeply again, and when she lets it out it's a happy sigh.

It makes perfect sense in Madoka's sleepy mind.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"You think? That'd be really nice. I wonder if she brought them with." The answer to that is probably a resounding no, but Madoka's not quite awake enough to realize it. Maybe if smart phones had been as ubiquitous when Homura's parents got married as they are now it'd make more sense.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Madoka squeezes warmly and happily on Homura as they rest together, squeezing about her waist, and then low on her back, and then a little higher up, enjoying each unique feeling of their bodies pressing so comfortably together. "I slept extra amazingly good because you kept me company all night, just like I wanted."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Much sweet nuzzling is traded between the two of them, and Madoka turns her head to press a kiss to Homura's cheek, giggling softly afterwards and pressing her face a little into the side of Homura's, nose poking against Homura's cheekbone. "Cuddling with you is the best ever," she says in a yawny voice, ending the yawn with a happy, "mmmm."<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She shifts a little more beneath Homura, making a happy sound as her girlfriends arm slides back around her. The grip on her shoulder feels almost like Homura is clinging to her, and that is such a nice feeling. Her hand petting Homura's hair brushes down onto her back, rubbing a warm circle on her upper back between her shoulderblades. She then shifts a bit more, quietly wrapping her pajama clad legs around one of Homura's and crossing one ankle over the other, giving Homura's right leg a hug with her own legs.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Then, suddenly, a high whimper escapes her, and for a brief moment Madoka almost sounds sad, "Sometimes I still can't believe I get to be this close to you so often. I'm so lucky to get to hold you in my arms and keep you close to me." Her elbows squeeze inward, pressing against Homura's sides, and her hands press flat into her back, arms crossing over one another to hug Homura close.

Madoka's neck is the recipient of a few more kisses. Homura takes her morning exercises very seriously!<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homua's barely-wakened mind tries to answer Madoka's question, but doesn't really come to an answer other than to bring up the number of times Chisato has been around and ''not'' been carrying a picture album around. "Probably not... but maybe she'll bring it next time?" At least, Homura ''assumes'' that there will be a next time. Now that Chisato knows where Homura lives and has been invited to stay, maybe she'll be more comfortable coming around?<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Me, too." Homura's voice is still a bit mumbly. "You're so comfy. I can't help but sleep well when I'm in your arms." The squeezes are so nice. Being held so sweetly first thing in the morning is oh so nice, because it's Madoka who is holding her. Homura wouldn't have it any other way. Being with Madoka is just so, so nice.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Yeah," mumbles Homura, in response to the cuddling. "I love cuddling you." Homura pauses, and then lets out another long, drawn out yawn. Afterwards, she smiles and hmms happily. "I get to cuddle my sweet and wonderful little Madoka-chan. Cuddles and love forever and ever."<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Homura's leg feels Madoka's wrapping around it, and there's a sleepy pause before Homura wraps her legs around one of Madoka's in turn. One of her hands starts to gently rub up and down Madoka's back, and she smiles as she feels her girlfriend's back against her palm.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"I'm lucky, too. Your cuddling is so good, how could I resist it? There's nothing I'd rather be doing than holding you, my darling." She takes in a deep breath, but this time instead of yawning she again sighs happily. "I've got my own little heaven and my little angel to share it with me."

She never feels unwanted when her beloved is holding her, and in fact any such feelings have all but completely fled her in these last few months of enjoying her girlfriends company.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Your little angel can't even tell whether or not she's in heaven, because being in your arms is so good it feels like it must be." She turns her head again, soft pink eyes finally more than half open and seeking to gaze into pools of beautiful purple, "Maybe there's more than one heaven? If there is then I think my heaven is Homura-chan's heaven. The only heaven I want to be in is the one with my guardian angel." Madoka smiles sweetly and then pokes her nose against Homura's only to tilt her head so it teases down the side of her nose to make way as her lips seek Homura's.

Once lips touch, Homura shares a sweet and gentle kiss, wanting nothing more than to share this moment with Madoka.
