That have to do with a big black dog he summoned eating him and stuff. She's a little ashamed that got so out of hand!<br /><br />There's also the 'turn other people into vampires'(?) dream she had and that's been disturbing her.<br /><br />Regardless. Eilam gets a polite text inviting him to her manor.<br /><br />'Manor de 'Crima' as Lacrima has been light-heartedly calling it is a formerly abandoned manor that many people-- mostly school kids- claimed to be haunted. It was not actually haunted.<br /><br />The manor has a more Eastern flair to it. It is not a /mansion/- and has the look more of a summer home of someone who does own a mansion.<br /><br />It's exterior is rundown. Windows are replaced- it looks like however. There's suggestion that yard work was done fairly recently--- it was mostly overgrown a week ago.<br /><br />Lacrima, in a fancy dress, is standing at the top of some stairs, past an old iron gate that is rusted open- down a footpath to the front door.<br /><br />She is patiently waiting, staring toward's the road.<br /><br />There's some kids peeking from the far side of the sidewalk. They're probably rumoring about the pale ghost girl that haunts this place- and also- /that's totally her look!/.

Not to say he wasn't easily scared, he was. For someone who was immortal, in the physical sense, he was very easily scared. Of pain, of others being in pain, of losing things, magic was kind of scary. Lacrima was scary. Her dog was scary. Everything is scary. Except this place. He wasn't much bothered by old and decrepit, if only because that'd be a bit... ironic? It just made him sad to see things dying around him. Seeing other things aging either had him jealous, or sad.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This mansion? Did leave him feeling a bit... sad. It was likely built sometime after the war, possibly during Occupied Japan, and left to rot perhaps as the owners passed away or something else untowards happened that left it in limbo. Why was Lacrima here? This is a stereotype at best. Did she not like his place? His offer? He'd offered to help her out, let her feed... or at least try, if it was bearable. But she'd went and got her own place. And was apparently doing things with Amu instead? Normally Eilam wasn't one to feel rejected, especially by someone he had no feelings towards other than 'Please don't leave possibly immortal friendu' but yeah.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He wandered up towards the doorway, his attire fairly... well, Eilam. Nice suit, tie, shirt and pants and shoes. Generally looking rather fancy. Because why look like crap if you feel like it too? "Everything okay?" he asked when he realized she was standing there.

Lacrima's eyes don't follow them. She wasn't looking at them anyways.<br /><br />Eilam. Her eyes register this movement however, and she looks down and seems to wait for him to come to the door. "Hello." she says quietly.<br /><br />"Let's go inside." she says as she opens the door, and ushers him in.<br /><br />Then the answer. "No. Nothing is okay. Everything is wrong." she says as she walks down a small, front corridor. There's two rooms, off to the side. One appears to be a study, another a sitting room that looks like it has a green-house roof, down to the halfwall on the otherside.<br /><br />There's a big living room however. She has a seat on the couch.<br /><br />"Rules..." she says quietly. "The basement is off limits because I haven't cleaned it yet. It reeks of contamination and bad wine." she says. "The bedroom, at the far end, right side upstairs is Jiaying's sideroom." she says. "I respect her privacy." she says. "The room next to it is the ritual room. You are not to enter for safety reasons." she says.<br /><br />"That's all." she says.<br /><br />She offers the seat next to her.<br /><br />"I'm sorry... about. The .. dog. Thing." she says. "I thought I'd learned to control it. I got...excited. About that. And I lost control." she says quietly. "The room's been 'warded' to prevent things from escaping so easily next time." next time.<br /><br />She wraps her arms around herself a little protectively. "Are you okay?" she asks.

Following along, though, he said nothing, just... looking, and listening, to anything she had to say. But when it came to be rules, he felt a bit amused by that. Rules... she'd taken the time to plan out exactly what he could and couldn't do while he was here. Which could either be a good thing in that she was thinking ahead, or a bad thing in that she might be trying to hide things? Probably sounds rather weird, but I'm trying rather hard to accept I can't just... I am being rather selfish when it comes to you, I know. I could just let you sort out your own problems as I did mine over time, but I'm still scared of you getting hurt or... light magiced away or something and I'll lose the only other immortal person I've ever met."

Is there a reason you seem to have no desire to feed off me? The one person in this world who could probably feed you forever with no harm to them given their own condition? Like, do I smell bad to you, or are you only interested in girls, or... what?" He was legitimately curious about that. Then again... some things just didn't work well with his curse. Not that he knew exactly how /her/ feeding/curse worked for that matter, beyond the basics.

I know it is me projecting a fair bit, but I don't want your path to immortality to have the same problems mine did if I can help it. "At least stakes through the heart, crucifixes and garlic and holy water do nothing. I can cross running water. I don't need to be invited into a place to enter it." she says. "And while I feel uncomfortable in the daylight it doesn't hinder or hurt me-- I do however. Feel comfortable in cramped spaces. Which makes me wonder- if I should be resting in a casket or a coffin. So much that he nodded a little and said finally, "I really hope it all goes well for you. And as for why i am trying to help? I suppose I am being selfish too. But not because I feel good helping others. I just don't want to be alone again. I mean, sure, others are... around me, but knowing I'll be here forever and everyone I care about will just be gone one day, it's kind of a nice thought to think there's someone else I can at least have memories with that won't up and vanish one day. I know I probably can't do too much, but the offer is there. Because in the end, I'll always be around. That's... never going to change. Even if I'm not useful for much of your needs at all, to my knowledge."

I have... gotten past that point in my life. And even if I am in Japan, where eating raw is popular, I still prefer my meals quite cooked.
