Its social area is casually anonymous, oriented around couches and video games. It's one of the two with full kitchens.<br /><br />There is the one that is Mamoru's, or the main apartment, depending on the way the person talking about it is looking at it at the time. That's the one with the mural Naru painted, and with the ''other'' full kitchen.<br /><br />There is the one that is Nephrite's, and Unmei has been pointed firmly away from those doors, just on general principle.<br /><br />And then there is the one that is Kunzite's and Zoisite's.<br /><br />Unmei's likely become more familiar with it in the last few days. The place is subtly more elegant: the furniture is well-chosen and matching, the carpeting and upholstery more expensive. There is art on the walls, framed. There is a Go set permanently out in the main room, though not the one that Kunzite's used with Unmei -- often enough there is a slow-motion game in progress there, and once Unmei's seen Kunzite place a stone in passing. There is a piano; that is Zoisite's domain, and Kunzite does not touch it.<br /><br />There is Kunzite's room, which Unmei has seen through the door now and again when it is open. It is, for the most part, more barren than the guest rooms. Though there's art there, too. A framed rendering of a European castle. A framed piece of calligraphy, reading 'First, do no harm.'<br /><br />Very little else.<br /><br />That's the door that Kunzite -- Kazuo, out of uniform -- opens now to regard Unmei steadily. "That depends," he says. "Did you remember to eat yet today?"

That door opens, closes again and then, a polite knock at the main door of the apartment that houses Kunzite and Zoisite.
