Some troublemaker.<br /><br />But yes, he's hungry right now. And this means...<br /><br />Out in a flower stand, a number of exotic plants, their petals dark mixed with some other color, slowly stir and pulsate. Unseen by the people, a faint vapor begins to emanate, bearing a soothing aroma...<br /><br />An anaesthetic aroma.<br /><br />People begin to feel sleepy, and can't keep their eyes open. Everywhere along the boardwalk, people are slumping to their knees, and falling to the ground.

Pausing in the air over the Park, she frowns in thought, eyes racing between the falling and fallen. We can widen it if we need to."<br /> <br />As she speaks, a series of magical circle start to fade in the air beneath her feet, slowly revolving against each other as more layers build. &lt;&lt;COMMAND INPUT ACKNOWLEDGED,&gt;&gt; the book chirps. Now, just to wait until the calculations are complete, and the barrier can be brought down.

Always on the alert, she decided to keep a cautious distance as people started falling asleep. "Woah, what the heck's going on?" with a soft frown she brushes her hand over her soulgem, instantly transforming into a Puella, pulling her cloak around her mouth as she peers aroudn for the source of the trouble. Out comes her soulgem, wondering if it is witch or wraith related..But it doesnt seem to be reacting..

And grow. Yes, grow. They branch out in twigs, sprouting arms. Their petals become spikey, and then these turn to spikes completely. And they start to walk away from the place they were on exhibition, spreading out in various directions, amidst the crowd. Their ropey limbs, tendrils of vegetation, as they find a person on the ground, wrap around them, and begin to draw their energy away.<br /><br />One of those plants comes into view of the white-haired boy, and he unceremoniously runs towards it and kicks it away just as it was about to latch onto a victim. "Branches off!!"

As the energy dome lowers to ground height, the sleeping normal folk, entwined with branches or not, fade out of existence, leaving only herself, Sayaka, and the white-haired boy facing down the youma.<br /> <br />Oh, the wonders of sweet sciency magic.

"Woah, what's going on?" peering at Rashmi, she arches a brow and smirks, "Oh, heh, you must be a magica device user, huh?" okay, that she has seen before. However, with the immediate threat before her, there's no time for idle chitchat.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She summons her sword, rushing at the nearest youma, hurling her weapon at it as it gathers speed, surrounded in a bolt of blueish white energy. "Shooting Stinger!" she yells, attempting to impale the plant and hopefully slash it to bits, before rushing at another plant, hacking and slashing at it with more summoned swords. Seth follows suite, though landing on his feet, just in time to see the youma-plant explode into that puff of smoke, again leaving behind the sunflower.<br /><br />"That makes two of us, Sayaka-chan!". he says. Then, he looks at Rashmi. "Hi there. I don't think we've met."

So as a result, from all over the place, the plant-youmas decide to gather on the spot where the three teens are located.<br /><br />One plant... Two plants... From around the corner, two more, to a total of four... Then, crawling and jumping from the roofs, three more...<br /><br />And before you realize it, some good two dozen of these flower-youma are gathered in the boardwalk.<br /><br />They don't attack, though. Instead, they bundle together, and squeeze... And /merge/!<br /><br />In a matter of seconds, these plant-youma make one big youma, a humanoid version. The petals bloom...<br /><br />And a human face can be seen at the center, a woman's face. &lt;&lt;Food... Feed...&gt;&gt;<br /><br />The creature looks between the three teens. But.."Seth-kun, if you know something..Now's the time to say so!" she grits her teeth, rushing at the mega youma, and summons six swords that appear around her in a flash of light, encircling her as she rushes at the youma, then leaps skyward at the last minute, hurling all six of them at the youma before landing. Glancing at Rashmi sidelong, not wanting to lose sight of her foe, she frowns, "Dunno, can you get a..A reading off of it?" she's seen other people with intelligent devices like that do readings of some sort afterall.

The shield shudders and cracks, but doesn't actually break.<br /><br />Sayaka's swords are fired, and like sharp edges have cut wood in the past, they provide more effect and cause the creature to roar in pain.<br /><br />Its response is to thicken its other arm into a solid wood construction, and swing it at Sayaka like a baseball bat is swung at the incoming ball.<br /><br />*POW!*<br /><br />Needless to say, she's down for the count, landing behind the now-vacant amusement stands.<br /><br />&lt;&lt;DAMN YOU!&gt;&gt;, Seth shouts, voice changed into a thundering roar. He jumps into the air, dark energy blowing from his hands, which condenses into a long sword of an seemingly alien design. And he starts swinging wildly at the wooden carcass of the youma, cracking shell and bits off it. &lt;&lt;I'll kill you... I'll kill you...&gt;&gt; The creature staggers and roars in confusion.

Bright yellow wings of light unfurl from the upper corner of each cover, and a series of targeting circles form in the air in front of Rashmi, dialed in toward the creature's heart.<br /> <br />&lt;&lt; O fire of life, with golden light sear away all shadow from the heart of man! &gt;&gt;<br /> <br />As she chants, at the center of the farthest circle a ball of mana begins to form, and grow, and grow.... stopping only when it's the size of the mage summoning it. Raising the book to the heavens, she stabs her empty hand forward. &lt;&lt; SOLAR STORM! &gt;&gt; Each circle collapses in turn, the final one ejecting the magical energy in a coruscating beam of golden energy, aimed at the giant creature's heart.

Flowing from the creature - and previously flowed from whatever innocents it could drain - to his body, Seth slowly but surely becomes replenished.<br /><br />For however long it lasts, that is.<br /><br />But his time is cut short as Rashmi fires her Solar Strom, so he jumps away from the creature to avoid being hit by that energy blast.<br /><br />The creature stumbles and collapses on the ground, wilting progressively. As it goes through the final moments, its human face looks towards Seth and moves its mouth as if it were trying to say something, holding out a branch - or hand - to him.<br /><br />Then, it explodes into smoke, leaving behind the sunflowers, the hosts it had until then possessed.<br /><br />And the white-haired boy? The feeling of haunting has returned to his face, mind rushing to try and process what just happened. He shakes his head is disbelief.
