So now he's out exploring again, looking around the park once more, jogging along with his thoughts. Did he do the right thing yesterday? Who knows. But one of the things he knows is that he can't take it back now and hopefully it won't end up being something that comes back to bite him. <br /><br /> Kukai sighs and keeps moving, keeping the future in sight and not the past...

So she has nothing indignant to say to her, except a smile. For a second he considers not introducing himself, but then frowns. If he's going to be afraid of everyone that was there that night, he's not going to be able to continue saying he did the right thing. <br /><br /> So as she goes past he turns and puts on his best smile, waving to her. "Hey Nanoha. How're you doing tonight?" Daichi peeks over at her from off one of Kukai's shoulders as well, waving at Nanoha.

"I don't like that jerk a lot. I think he's doing some really bad, abusive things to Fate-chan." she says quietly.<br /><br />"But what if we didn't topple that thing? And I agree with it, it was a jerk move. Most of the time I would agree with you. But do you know at least half the alerts on Virtue have to do with him or his group? He was a boy who wanted to help me and Fate." she says softly. "I think he really wanted to help Fate. "I know she'll take good care of him now." she says softly.<br /><br />She sighs a bit and shakes her head. "I'm hoping the Jewel Seeds aren't like becoming smart. The fewer of those things he gets his hands on, the better, and for that the pounding was a good thing. "Well... maybe the boy or toy or whatever is happy to have done what he could with them. I know he'll be happy to know she has friends who care for her like you." He rubs his chin, thinking. "I don't know anything about Jewel Seeds, but I know about wishes. And if something wishes something to a Jewel Seed it could come true, yeah? So they're... They're so smart because they're so dumb. Does that make sense?" He eyes Nanoha for a moment. "It's like how smart computers are, but they aren't really smart themselves, they're as smart as the people using them."

And it's hard anyways for people to do that." she says.<br /><br />She shifts uncomfortably about Fate. And there's a little blush there. By the end Kukai's got one fist gripped tight and he's staring at her. Daichi has his eyes covered with his hands, face buried in Kukai's neck. "... And you're going to say that someone who does something like that is someone I shouldn't be sucker punching every time I see him. What the hell is wrong with you? What the hell is wrong with her? If somebody isn't willing to be friends with you no matter how hard you try, sometimes you just have to say 'well, we won't be friends, but that's ok.'"
