It's not that he's been locked up inside the ENTIRE time but, usually he was being watched too closely to slip away. He's not trying to actually ESCAPE, mind. He doesn't want to hurt his 'savior's feelings by just disappearing like that. What he IS trying to do is see if he can manage to get any fellow mahou's attentions so they can know where he is.<br /><br />Due to the linker ganking messing with his ability to control the effects of the DNA fusion, he's been stuck as a seal for a while now. That's meant he can't really communicate with the girl who's 'found' him and his trying to find...HIM because she thinks that he's his own owner. He's trying to let people know he's ok, and possibly find some way to get back OUT of seal form. Due to all this, the highly endangered ringed seal is creeping around the park from bush to bush, trying to find people while not making a scene because what the HECK is a seal doing here? Seals aren't the stealthiest of creatures in shubbery and his face is likely spotted peeking out now and then.

They're staying warm enough and getting enough food to survive on, but they were definitely glad to see her and the snacks she provided.<br /><br />At this point, though, she's planning on heading home. The empty bowls are in the bag she brought them to the park in, and she's just enjoying the winter sights. The gentle puff of frosted breath, the soft layer of snow, the odd trails going from one bush to another, the peaceful relative quiet of the park...<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;''...wait, back that up a bit.''<br /><br />She pauses and follows the odd track with her eyes, trying to get a sense of which way it leads. Some of the small piles of snow dislodged from the shrubs give a rough idea of which side was newer, and there ''is'' a faint smell of the sea -- not enough to track by, but enough to tell if she's getting warmer or colder. Okay, the scent is slightly stronger over here, and that track has the crisp look of being freshly trod...<br /><br />...wait, is that a '''seal''' peeking out of that bush?!<br /><br />Ikiko walks over with an amused smile. "<span style="color:#afaf00">Long way dryward you are, waterdog,</span>" she says in animalspeak. While she's a ''lot'' less fluent in general mammal than she is in canine, she can at least manage full (albeit awkward) sentences... which is more than what she can say about avian, for instance.

"<span style="color:#afaf00">I got attacked awhile back by those...er...yolkensomething? The people stealing linker thingies.</span>"

Oh, I should probably also let you know they attacked while I was out here on my way home from work.
