|Poses=:'''{{#var:98|Euphemia Barchetta (98)}} has posed:'''<br><span></span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;UMBRA headquarters is inside of what is known as Stacked Space, an easier term to handle than non-Euclidian Space, or Mixed Alternate Dimensions. Eclipse as a whole makes heavy use of stacked space in order to both more easily get around and have far more work area than real estate would otherwise allow, not to mention safely hide away dangerous laboratories, experiments, manufacturing spaces, and all kinds of other things the mortal authorities and magical heroes of Tokyo would not agree with, and UMBRA is no exception.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The pool room, as it's now called is no exception. It's wide open space, nearly the size of an entire 'floor' of UMBRA HQ with a boring smooth gray concrete floor, almost the kind you'd expect to find in a warehouse. It'd almost feel sterile and boring because of this if not for the addition of a very large rectangular swimming pool set right into the center of the floor. In ground and covered in shiny white and blue tile it's beautiful and inviting, the concrete immediately around it lighter and unpolished, forming a perfect circle in the center of the room.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Even more impressive is the makeup of the room itself. The walls are almost entirely glass and the ceiling has an enormous glass skylight as well. Of course this being a part of UMBRA's stacked space the view outside is upside down, giving the impression of hanging upside down in the middle of the sky, several thousand feet in the air, above even the tallest skyscrapers. This makes for beautiful panoramic views of the Mitakihara District, and indeed of Tokyo as a whole. In the daytime one can look 'up' through the skylight to the city streets below, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and a glorious view of the city lit up at night. It's absolutely spectacular; assuming one can get over the vertigo of it.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The rest of the space has been warmed up with girlish touches, the area around the pool littered with various swim toys and floaties. The air inside also miraculously, or rather magically, never steams up and the pool is always invitingly warm, a few degrees cooler than the air outside of it, no matter the weather or season outside.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;How this space isn't renovated to be used for some executive or CEO's office is anybody's guess, and Euphemia has been tight lipped to anyone who asks. Mainly though no one asks, because they're too busy enjoying the sweet pool and the amazing view.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Speaking of Euphemia, she's currently wearing a simple white one-piece swimming suit, running across the wide open floorspace before planting her feet and long jumping with a loud, "WHEEE!" tucking her knees up and holding them with her arms before crashing into the water and sending a huge splash across and around the pool. It's exactly the sort of thing she'd be told not to do anywhere else as the pool rules are sternly pointed out.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Except this is UMBRA's pool. There are no rules.<br> <br>

:'''{{#var:86|Ayana (86)}} has posed:'''<br><span></span>It is exactly the lack of rules that leads Ayana to the pool: it's a place where she can work out her frustrations, her fears, and her need for physical activity without tearing apart whole city blocks. Not that she's really capable of that, but she ''assumes'' she is, and so: the pool! A crackle of dark energy surrouds Ayana as she steps into the room, dressed in a two-piece tankini of dark blue with pink butterflies all over it. She twitches a little (or maybe it's just her image twitching beneath the gloom that surrounds her) and then seems to move suddenly, practically (but not literally) teleporting atop the diving board. She bounds once, and then leaps high into the air, before curling up her knees into a cannonball. Her tails--all three--arc around her as she flips end over end over end and then crashes into the water in immitation of Euphemia. Except without the 'whee'. The filter had better be magical, because there's going to be fox fur all over this pool quickly. Cresting the water again, she spits a mouthful of towards Euphemia like a watergun, then angrily declares, "My splash was bigger than your splash." This is not the usual cheerful kitsune that lurks these halls. Something's out of place.<br> <br>

She gives a cheer at the large splash, flailing and shrieking playfully as the water is watergunned on her(she doesn't try to avoid it), only to let out a good natured whine, "Aww! I didn't know it was a contest." Her mouth then turns into a thin line, longer on one side than the other, and with one raised eyebrow. Her eyes narrow and she scrutinizes the fox familiar carefully.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;She stops swimming for a moment and merely treads water, continuing to squinty eye at her new swimming companion for what might be an annoyingly long time. "...you seem upset!" she suddenly declares.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A quick dive under water has her as a white and blue wavy streak, her long cyan hair loose and unbound, before she pops back up out of the water only a couple of feet in front of Ayana, "What's eaten' ya, foxie?" It's a cheerful and perhaps annoying comment that might mask the actual concern. Though if someone knows much about Euphemia they'd know 'cheerful and perhaps annoying' is pretty much a given whenever she's involved.<br> <br>

She doesn't hold a consistant place, and when Euphemia pops up right in front of her, the grumpy foxgirl's gloom haze rapidly engulfs them both, before ...<br /><br />*BOOP*<br /><br />Nose-to-nose, the girls touch, before Ayana flails and falls back under the water. She surfaces a moment later with much thrashing before she resumes her paddle around Euphemia. "The dance," she says unhappily. "Mamoru Chiba-san was supposed to dance with me, but then he just ''ignored'' me for some stupid blonde girl. And then there was this professor that I bumped into, and then a blue-haired girl rushing paset, and nobody paid attention to me. And then I started to leave and ''that's'' when the professor noticed me, but he made me stay, so I was there to notice when stupid Mamoru Chiba-san left with his ugly mean girlfriend, and then some purple-haired jerk came along and ruined Taka-kun's dance!!" She splashes her arms unhappily in the pool, flailing them around wildly in a temper tantrum. "I didn't even get to eat any food because I was so busy trying to do my job, and then it wasn't even the right person I was supposed to distract! I failed him, and also that stu pid purple-hair girl ruined all of my plans for Taka-kun! The whole entire stupid night was a complete disaster!" Beat. "Well, mostly a disaster. The professor helped me find my missing butterfly wings."<br> <br>

Noses poke, and Euphemia laughs with closed eyes as Ayana flails and thrashes from the tiny touching. Amazingly enough she doesn't even seem bothered by the dark energy surrounding Ayana. At all. Though if the Familiar can sense such things she -is- affected by it. She has no real resistance or immunity, especially out of henshin, and yet she doesn't seem to care. Odd.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Aww, so the boy you wanted to dance with had an ugly girlfriend he danced with instead of you?" She doesn't really know who Mamoru is, oddly enough considering Takashi's feud with him, so she doesn't get the extra importance of that 'mission'. "Maybe next time you should find a way to give her food poisoning so she gets stuck in the bathroom all night," she offers with a grin.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As to the rest of it she has to consider a bit more. The 'temper tantrum' actually looks like a lot of fun, so she simply joins Ayana ins splashing water all the heck over the place. Then she swims over to the edge of the pool and drags a big foam noodle into it and starts clinging to it, seeing how long she can stay upright without swimming despite the mininmal buoyancy it adds to her. "Wow, that girl ruined all your plans in one night?" Her nose wrinkles up in a look of annoyance. "No fair. I'm jealous." Not of ruining Ayana's plans specifically, but she's sad there's someone that can be more of a bother than her. That's her job!<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A pause, "What kind of plans did you have for him anyway?"<br> <br>

She crests the surface nearby, then wraps her arms around Euphemia from behind, clinging to the other girl for support since she can't stay still, and it seems Euphemia ''can''. "Yeah, it was really mean of her. She's probably a magical girl, being that evil! I don't know why they think it's okay to just come in and ruin everyone's plans and beat everyone up like that!"<br /><br />She takes a deep breath, then explains, "Takakun needs a girlfriend! He's always happier, and does better in his research, wh en he has someone to dote on him. And I try to dote on him whenever I can," because she's a good familiar, "but he keeps sending me out to research or meet magical girls, or go to stupid ''school'' or dances, and I can't be there for him all the time! Talking while your under water can quickly lead to inhaling various amounts of water, and so as she kicks and swims she has to stop talking in order to have a wicked coughing fit.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Luckily she manages to swim over to the edge of the pool, abandoning her noodle and getting an air mattress instead, slinging it under her arms so that it's enough to keep them both afloat without trying, her leg kicking sending them back and forth around the pool.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At no point has she complained about Ayana clinging to her and in fact has a bright and happy smile on her face! "Ohh, Takashi-san should get a girlfriend, you're right!" A happy giggle, "You're such a good Familiar for thinking of that~" She pauses for a moment and stops kicking, getting a very thoughtful look on her face. A rare quiet moment. Then she busts out laughing for upwards of a minute. When she's done she shakes her head, "I don't think we'd work out! So it sounds like we'll need a Plan B."<br> <br>

And then Gull-chan came along and I thought that would be a good idea, but there's this pink-haired girl he seems to really like, so ... Though maybe that's a moot point, because Ayana seems to already have a better Plan B. She can't help giggling at the idea of a girlfriend for her boss being gift wrapped and set on his doorstep. Besides, we were dating me I'd make him let me into his lab and then the building would blow up and we'd have to find a new HQ but Eclipse might not have another one." She's surprisingly serious about that.<br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Still paddling around, Euphy looks over her shoulder at Ayana and gives her a very mischievous grin, "A better question is why wouldn't -you- work out, Ayana-chan?" That grin widens to epic proportions. "I'm pretty sure Takashi-san loves himself best, and you kinda -are- him already. It's perfect!"<br> <br>
