Go! Princess Pretty Cure follows the tale of three girls who all have closely-held dreams, and the ability to fight based on the power and passion of those dreams. They are enabled by the Dress Up Keys and Princess Perfumes, artefacts of power from the now-overtaken Hope Kingdom. The Princess Pretty Cure fight the forces of Dyspear, a literal embodiment of the despair that serves as the shadow to the brightly-shining Hope Kingdom. In the past, there were three Princess Pretty Cure: Cure Flora, Cure Mermaid, and Cure Twinkle. The previous trios dress-up keys are attracted to the people on Earth who are going to be the next legendary warriors of hope, protecting the dreams of others, the Princess Pretty Cure!
