This is a current-events and plot-status page for BSSM theme, to facilitate OOC communication (since the cast has grown to a size where it is no longer easy to track). If you see something on here that you are interested in following up on, PLEASE contact the people involved! If you have something going on, or you want information distributed ICly, PLEASE feel free to edit!

Xenian Flowers

• The flowers are gone.

• Fiore sacrificed himself on the asteroid to help disable the flowers long enough for them to be taken out. His spirit is currently housed in a rock (the magics on which are potentially unstable, and everyone who might be able to fix them is dead) and a rose; Mamoru and Makoto have planted both in a flowerpot as of this ongoing scene taking place the day after.

Takashi

• Jupiter is back, and her Nullheart version dealt with, but Jupiter is not in good shape. Emotional support while she processes would be welcome.

• That Takashi Agera, Mercury's troubled ex-boyfriend, is also Riventon is now open knowledge.
  • Makoto has related to Kunzite (and Naru) her trip to the Dusk Zone and the number of nullheart frames she saw at the UMBRA labs. This information should also be shared with the Sailor Team.
  • To wit, lots. Makoto destroyed the empty, not-yet-customized bodies; it may be wise to keep an eye out for signs of largescale energy-gathering efforts, since finding out who's interested in rebuilding the dark energy constructs may give clues about what the things were supposed to be for. (Or maybe Riventon just has creepy hobbies.)
  • Kyouko raided the lab on July 26th and reports finding a fresh batch of Nullheart frames like the ones Makoto destroyed. Either there were more that Mako didn't find, or Takashi has been making more since.

• Mamoru's apartment is missing its balcony. See ECFH below.

• As of the recent charity dance, Takashi and Ami are ... something, again. As of July 5, the information has begun to circulate, and Ami and Makoto had a fairly spectacular argument over it. Matters are subsequently pretty strained between the two girls.

Cutting the Cord

• Puella Magi are in trouble; witches and therefore Grief Seeds are scarce.

• Several Puella have an open invitation to yell for help from the ECFH rather than burn their magic on healing.

• Everybody that was at the Nullheart Jupiter fight knows that the girl who showed up to rescue Riventon was wearing something that looked a WHOLE LOT like Kyubey around her neck. (7/14 update: At this time, Kunzite is aware and has notified Ami and Mamoru that this was a Nullheart Kyubey. The Puella Quartet are also aware.)

• Wraiths have started manifesting as of 7/10, giving an alternative to Grief Seeds. Kunzite has passed known information on to Virtue via Ami as of 7/12.

Doom Tree

• People who Ail and An might be pursuing this time around: Usagi, Dai, Mako, Neph, Kunzite ...
• Rei, Makoto, and Daisuke had an encounter with Ail and An the evening of July 14. Talking didn't accomplish much, but they heard and saw enough to draw comparison to Fiore. Offers of help were, of course, rebuffed by the pair.

Naru Tracker

• July 7, evening, Naru drops out of usual contact. Kunzite checked on her but apparently she was watching Netflix or something, not an immediate problem. July 8, morning, she failed to meet up with Hannah before school; Hannah called Kunzite, who texted Usagi and asked her to check on Naru at school. Naru did not show up at school. Usagi fled school, went to Naru's place, found her under a curse that removed willpower and ability to care, Escalated.

• Previous known incidents in the current streak: July 6, afternoon, Naru and company watched by creepy doll (ghost? spirit? thing?) in the Crown. July 5, evening, Kunzite reports Naru apparently drained and bruised, no details. June 24(?), "one star draining, do not recommend." Drained and battered, unknown assailant, apparently random, Princess Runealy might have more information. June 23, Xenian flower, general, apparently did pretty well. June 17, Lacrima, apparently random alley ambush. June 3, apparently random attack in park by unknown villain, AND targeted intentionally by Fiore.

• Kunzite has dealt with Naru's apparent intent to go it alone by casually shoving her into taking up Hannah's offer of training in Hannah's usual terrifying punchiness, and possibly also Nadeshiko's offer of the basics of the naginata. Whether he's interested in equipping her better to deal with fights, or keeping her too busy to run into as many villains, is anybody's guess.

• On July 8th, Mamoru and Usagi contacted Nanoha Takamachi to discuss the possibility of hooking Naru up with an Intelligent Device. Nanoha suggested that they speak to Lindy about the possibility of obtaining one- as she might have collected Intelligent Devices that no longer have an owner from Artha-related scavenging. July 12, by request, Kukai and Nadeshiko checked Naru out and came to the conclusion that she is probably not going to turn into a Chara Bearer anytime soon.

• July 13, after dark. Naru met the Wraiths, briefly. Texted Kunzite to let him know. Madoka encountered Naru and Wraiths while on patrol and provided rescue. Debriefing yet to come.

• July 15, a glorious chaos of Hannah and Maeko protecting Naru from Lacrima. Because that's not confusing and awkward at all.

• August 14, Naru returned to Tokyo after 2 weeks away and all hell started breaking loose. She's attracting youma and other monsters approximating daily (rather than weekly), although she usually can dodge and alert someone rather than get drained. Ami put a tracker on her (pings out to Senshi and Shitennou if things go weird) on the 18th. Massive Wraith attack on the 19 (complete with getting her brain put back together by Mamoru by pre-approved agreement), getting tossed in a Cage of Despair on the 20th. Attacks are continuing. She appears to be spitting out extra energy uncontrolled (and unaware).

ECFH Status

• CONSTRUCTION HAS STARTED. For reference: "The apartment that tends to be in use these days while the first one is under construction: the layout's more or less the same, just oriented toward a different part of the city, on the other side of the building, and mirrored for obvious reasons. (Amusingly, this has a tendency to confuse Mamoru early in the morning and late at night.)"

• Mamoru's apartment is missing a balcony. Also, the main living room is in sad shape and Mamoru has been sleeping in an alternate bedroom rather than deal with the amount of blood on the floor of his. Homura and Madoka's new company has been contracted to do work on the apartments. Like dealing with the flooring issue. (Plastic-sealed mosaics?) And reinforcing walls. And possibly magically reinforcing walls...

• Yes, they've been told primer, because Naru is still contracted to paint the place in Interesting.

• The roof is Nephrite's semi-permanent stargazing spot. Be aware that he will be very cranky if anybody messes with his stuff (or sets it on fire or blows it up or possesses it with some kind of angry chair monster).

• Makoto is back in charge of the kitchen, and in figuring out which of the excess kitchens will be turned into a fullscale backup. Yes, this means there is food in the place that is not takeout again.

• Ami has ICly pitched to Tadase that it might be Virtue time for the guys. Kunzite will be talking with Tadase shortly.

Black Moon

• Black Moon arc discussion will happen in late July. Black Moon arc proper will not start until after people have had some Serious Downtime.

Very Long-Term Background Conspiracy

• If you have something in your background that you would like to hook in to a conspiracy related to Mamoru's car accident when he was six, please tag Kunzite's player. This plot was originally intended to lead into the Dreams arc, so it may be a very long wait for things to show up; but on the other hand, there's plenty of time to make decisions or refinements.
