The Otherworld is a dimension of pure emotion, shaped by the feelings of humans on Earth and peopled by Otherselves, the reflections of each and every person in our world. These Otherselves bear the overwhelming emotions of humanity, so that the humans themselves can deal with life and keep on living. Some people feel more strongly than others, though, and these people in turn birth more powerful, Ascended Otherselves. Recently, some of these powerful Otherselves have found their way into our world, using their human counterparts as a conduit. In addition, it appears as though someone is attempting to manipulate people with powerful Otherselves, for reasons as of yet unclear.
