An has posed:
    Another warm day in Penguin Park. The cherry blossom trees still bear the last inklings of colorful fruit and pink and red petals although with the winding down of summer, many of those beautiful leaves are gradually turning all shades of golden, red and rust.

    Still, people are able to enjoy the last few days of warmth before fall and eventually winter set in. Many students are enjoying quiet picnics outside today, where the weather indeed feels more like summer than fall.

    Even so, there have been an unusually large number of rumours stirring around lately about many students feeling exhausted and suffering from a strange form of heatstroke or something else. But afterall, with the warm weather and midterms on the horizon, perhaps it is nothing to worry about!

    Natsumi Ginga is here again, sitting under a tree all by herself, enjoying a little rest after a tasty meal, although she has no picnic basket with her, and just watches people passing by..

Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka is sitting out, enjoying the sun and the chance to watch the plants quietly. She's enjoying a quiet lunch, with a small, pink dog-creature cuddled against her leg and taking small bits here and there from the lunch. Totally normal.

Granted, Haruka's teal eyes are also searching for a small purple bird flitting around, listening to rumors of unusual exhaustion. It's not quite what their group is used to as a sign of trouble, so it's more that Aroma is just listening to whatever rumors possible without knowledge of their significance. After a few minutes, the bird can be seen flying back to Haruka, landing lightly on her shoulder and puffing up. A keen observer might notice the bird's bill moving, and even someone who wasn't would notice Haruka shrugging and replying, then offering the bird food as well.

She is unfamiliar with energy-drain attacks, and thus, Haruka misses the import of the rumors, and is returning peaceably to lunch.

Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
The rumours have filtered their way to Section 2, and Tsubasa is investigating on the quiet, wearing her school uniform and hoping against hope there's no fans of her in the park right now. She's keeping her head down and quietly sipping from a milkshake she picked up on the way here.

But make no mistake, this is investigation. Section 2's analytics team is analyzing the feed she's transmitting, and doing a much better job of looking into any potential magical signatures than she herself could.

An has posed:
    Natsumi yawns a bit, climbing slowly to her feet. She'd been waiting a while now, and it's about time she checked in on her...Friend. Glancing around the park, she notices some new arrivals, and smiles wickedly. Great...Fresh meat! Time to do her thing!

    She had already planted some posters around the park about some ongoing spring market, doing her part to help the park officials, and with a few remaining in her bag, she continues to post some more posters on nearby trees.

    As luck would have it, she passes right by Tsubasa and Haruka, offering them each a spring market poster. "Hey, check this out. It's going on for the next few weeks, just a block down between here and the botanical gardens." she offers in her most advertising and welcoming tone, which sadly ends up sounding more pushy than anything else.

    However, it does attract a few people's attention, who excitedly get up and rush towards said market. "Hey look! It says here 'live music and entertainment food trucks and samples, and outdoor games! Cool!'

    She smiles sweetly. Perfect.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori has made her way to the park, not because she's heard any rumors or anything like that. Mostly because she's wondering if someone's still sleeping out here after... things. Not that her mind stays on that subject for too long. She also needed a break from her work, both music-wise and school-wise. What this really means, she's got her headphones on and she's jamming out to something electronic sounding while making her way around! She slows down as she nears a gathering crowd, one of which is handing papers out. Maybe she can duck aside before someone tries to rope her into things.

Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
Tsubasa does seem at least somewhat curious, looking at the poster with the kind of passive interest of 'I dunno if I am interested, but let's take a look' She doesn't really respond to Natsumi however, wordlessly moving on while she keeps looking, which may seem quite cold, but she took the thing.

Whoever is looking over her proverbial shoulder from the Section 2 HQ is telling her to take a look, that it's probably nothing but worth investigating anyway, and so the idol casually changes course to head in that direction.

Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka takes a flyer with a smile, Aroma chirruping at An and Puff agging her tail. There's a cursory glance down at the paper before Haruka resumes eating her lunch. To be honest, she would much rather go to the botanical gardens than whatever event this is, but she wouldn't say that out loud. She scratches Puff on the head, listening to the hubbub about the event with a smile on her face. After all, it's nice to be surrounded by happy people.

An has posed:
    Natsumi spies Yuzuki, who looks vaguely familiar - not that she keeps track of people or really cares anyways - and makes a beeline towards her. "Hey, you! Yu--something. Check this out!" and she attempts to hand her a flyer, one way or the other. "It's only on for another week or two, and it's great fun!" She stares at her a moment longer, but just cant remember her name.

    Haruka gets a frown though as she looks uninterested. "Oh come on! Check it out! You'll regret it if you dont!" fortunately Tsubasa looks more interested and she smiles at her in that pushy way. "Yeaah, that's the idea. Hurry up before the market closes!" she continues to buzz around, harassing people in that annoying Natsumi way of hers..

    However, what sounds like a sudden scream cuts through the air..Wait, was that in the direction of the market? Most people just ignore it. They're not police afterall. Besides, it sounded like it was deeper into the forest. Probably just kids playing around...Right? HOwever, for the more magical sensitive, they may just pick up some sort of magical aura coming from the general direction of a particularly large cherry blossom that's further into the woods surrounding the park..

Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
That pushy behavior earns Natsumi a cold dead stare from the pop idol, a stare that means one thing only, 'get out of my sight.' Tsubasa keeps going until the scream and the magical aura, at which point she stops in her tracks. A little after, she heads for someplace out of sight and fishes a red gem on a string out from below her shirt, at which point she sings.

    "Imyuteus Ame no Habakiri Tron~"

Her relic activates, the red gem glows and the protective plates of her Symphogear attach themselves to her arms and legs, sharp blades extending from her legs. A katana in her right hand, a red object embedded in her chest, and headphones on her ears.

She immediately rushes towards the source of this scream after, keeping her eyes open for anything of note.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks completely baffled by the paper being forced into her hands, acting like she was taken off guard. "S-sure uh-" she frowns before asking, "What is it?" While wondering if that was good cover. She does read the paper over just to be polite though. It's about then that she hears the scream, head turning towards it while asking, "What was that?" while folding the paper and putting it into her satchel. Tsubasa's given a curious look, like she recognizes her from somewhere. Fingers through hair...

She's gone though and there's a shrug. "Hey uh- I'm going to go make sure no one needs an ambulence, go look for help just in case." While taking off at a sprint, looking for the source of the scream, not changing herself since she's not sure if it's something mundane or not!

An has posed:
    Natsumi frowns a bit at the noise, peering in that general direction. Damn, Reci is being too noisy, but hey, at least she'll get the job done! She smiles to herself, but quickly feigns concern as she peers in that general direction, like many others in the park and just shrugs. "Just some kids playing, right?" she laughs nervously and continues to walk around, handing out flyers..

    However, it seems at least two of these girls have already decided to 'check out the commotion.' alright, all the better for her! This day's working out better than she had hoped! Natsumi stays where she is, just nodding slowly at Yuzuki, "Err...Sure..Be careful, hey?" sadly, her words dont sound terribly honest..

    For those brave souls who do track down the source of the noise, once they run deep into the woods and away from the general populace, they may find three teenagers already unconscious and laying on the ground. Further up ahead, by the big cherry blossom tree is a giant tree-like youma with long purple hair, a trunk like body, deep roots going into the ground and large branches for arms, radiating large cherry blossom flowers that seem to absorb everything they touch. Right now, she's already absorbing the life energy out of two more teenagers, entangled around her deadly vines and covered in energy draining cherry blossoms!

Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
When Tsubasa sees the source of the commotion, she rushes forward, jumping up to land on a nearby tree so she can get a better look at what's going on, and what she sees is definitely not good and worth acting upon.

    "A blade that cuts like a sudden wind, lovely as a thousand flowers~"

In the air surrounding the tree youma, blue energy constructs start to appear, one by one, each one of them shaped roughly like a sword. They all point in the direction of the creature, hovering in mid-air for a moment.

    "A slashing moon sparkles in the sunlight. Sadness, return to the pure land... for eternity~"

Then, with little warning, they all fly at once, going for the flowers, the branches and most importantly, the vines that entangle the victims.

Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori stumbles onto the scene and sees the chaos involved and begins to duck away from it all. not to run away, but to et herself enough time and space to henshin. Finding a nice out of the way place, she reaches her hand out and says firmly, "Grasp the cord of fate!" before pulling the invisible cord, which comes away as red string that surrounds her before fluttering away, leaving a young woman in heavy armor with a rather large sword.

She bounds back towards the tree, pillars of earth appearing beneath her, launching her closer in leaps and bounds until she introduces herself. Not with anything as flowery as the song Tsubasa is singing and instead, she's introducing herself in the way she knows best. Loudly, with a battle cry and a savage overhead swing that is a bit too telegraphed, but it does look like it would hurt. Is she trying to get it's attention?

An has posed:
    During the chaos, a pink haired, green skinned alien girl appears out of seemingly nowhere, watching the battle from a nearby tree. She smiles wickedly, licking her lips. "Nice work Reci! Now get rid of those silly magical girls!"

    As she orders the cardian, it snarls and turns its attention towards Yuzuki at Tsubasa. Unfortunately, Tsubasa moves quickly, slicing through the vines that trap the youma's latest victims, quickly releasing them from her grasp. The two girls fall unconscious to the ground, joining the other three unconscious teenagers. They're still alive, but they look exhausted, their energy drained.

    "R...eee....cciI!"l the tree youma snarls, turning its rage initially upon Tsubasa, and swings out massive clawed branches towards her first, attempting to entangle and/or slam her against a nearby tree. Swinging around, she narrowly misses getting badly hit by Yuzuki's strike, although it does break off a few branches. With a growl, she swings aroud, trying to fling another branch appendage at her to slap her out of the way.. The youma would continue to pursue her new opponents; However, glancing around at its most recent victims, and with a silent order from An, both Reci and the pink-haired alien suddenly vanish, taking with them the bounty of newly drained energy. Reci has served her well, and she wont gamble her to these magical girls this day!
