Synopsis: | An makes a new fellow energy draining friend! |
Cast of Characters: | Norie Okana, An |
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima got hit with a purification last night. It rended her being. She hated it. Pieces of herself was missing... it nessicited spending overnight in the Dusk Zone. She didn't like doing that. It made her feel... native. Regardless, popping out. There was the other matter.
That tingling feeling at the furthest reaches of her senses. That hunger. The encroaching 'feral' feeling that made her wide eyed and uncontrolled and less human than she already is.
She finds a target easily, this early in the morning. A Sanitation worker working on bringing trashcans from an alley to the truck at the roadside.
She desceneds down on him. Hard, fast. No finese. There's a yell, but it doesn't last very long as Lacrima utters her draining word and begins to leech that energy she needs desperatly. This will just be one of a few she'll need to get back to normal.
Of course. Someone else might had been looking at the easy target too- perhaps with more finese than Lacrima had. For all she knows!
- An has posed:
As luck would have it, An is also out tonight, looking for someone to 'feed' of of, so to speak. Perhaps a cardian would be more efficient, but Ail was better at bringing them to life, and lately he'd been busy trying to figure out why the Makaiju was still wilting.
Desperate and unable to wait a moment longer, An had struck out on her own, scanning the city by rooftop, seeking some sort of easy prey that wouldnt fight back. This city seemed to be teaming with magical girls, afterall!
Unfortunately, as she approaches the sanitation worker, someone else gets there before her and she lets out a gasp as she descends after the strange girl - not a gasp of fear or surprise, but just plain annoyance. Enough perhaps, to attract the girl's attention.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima drains the energy of the sanitation worker and eventually he's fully unconcious and she can feel that internal feeling begin to withdrawl. She's still low. Very low on reserves. But she's at least keeping her faculties right now as she leans up to her feet.
There's a gasp. She turns around quick and hard-- as if to move to drain, but something catches her off guard. It's probably the green skin. The pointy ears. And the odd manner of dress, as she stops.
"...ah." she says. "You're not human." she says. Lacrima, with her pale skin and somewhat point two canines at least passes for a very sickly human at a distance. But up close. It's clear she isn't.
"...was this someone you knew?" she says deadpan. "I'm sorry. I needed to feed. He'll be okay. In an hour. Or so." she says a little coldly.
- An has posed:
An continues to watch the girl as she drains, and drains...And drains. Hey, maybe she can suck whatever is left over, although she HATES leftovers! How..Lowly! Another thought does occur to her too.
Of course - she could always drain this girl's energy, although judging by how this girl was even capable of draining energy in a similar way to herself, it would suggest that she is more threatening than her otherwise rather frail yet gothic-lolita appearance might suggest.
And then she speaks, ever so casually, catching An off-guard, somewhat. "Hmph. Someone I knew? Hardly..Just some random human that I was going to feed off of...But it looks like you just stole my meal.." There's an edge to her voice, and her red eyes narrow angrily upon the girl, although she hasn't attacked yet, not quite sure what to make of Lacrima.
"And WHY are you apologizing? And who, or WHAT are you, anyway? Most normal school girls around here dont just go around feeding on people and apologizing!" Fishing, yes, she's fishing for information. Is this girl a threat? Or..
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima head tilts, ever so softly as she listens. "I required the energy. Absoultely." she says. She merely just stands there. She doesn't move to strike or fight. She just... stands there. hands at her side. Deadpan. Not much of expression on her face at the moment.
Perfectly neutral.
"School girl?" she says. "I am not a human. For starters. I am a vampire. I drain energy to survive. I do not like what I am. but I still am it. Since you didn't know this person, well. Then no harm." she says flatly.
"Are... you... a vampire too? You said you were going to feed off her?" she asks.
- An has posed:
An gasps, as the girl explains what exactly she is. Well...She's not green, and she doesnt look like an alien..But perhaps this is merely a human guise. "Wait..You're a vampire? And you drain energy!?" well, this is interesting. "Could you be...? are you the one who summoned those energy draining plants from the sky that time?"
More importantly, is she..An alien?
Then the question is reflected upon herself, and An merely smiles, arms folded loosely. "Well...I suppose you could say that. I'm an alien who came to earth seeking energy that could sustain me." Best to leave out Ail for now, until she can learn more about this mysterious girl.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima head tilts. "Ah you mean the situation with the plants. No. I had nothing to particularly do with that and know very little about it." she says softly.
She head tilts a bit. "I am a vampire yes. I... used to be human. I'm not anymore." she says quietly
"Oh, you're from. Space then." she says. This has a mildly intrested tone to it. She head tilts. "So. You do need energy." she says quietly. "But you're not a vampire." she says.
She head tilts again softly. She doesn't smile. That expression is deadpan. "....Are you here to wipe out humanity?" she asks.
- An has posed:
"....Oh.." She sighs rather disappointedly, so this one is not an alien. Or at least, she's not the alien who created those plants. But then when she explains further, An realizes she's not even alien, but human. Does that make her her enemy..?
Even so, she is curious, inspite of her current hunger. In fact, Lacrima may notice how she touches her head every so often, looking a little..Exhausted, probably much like herself before she recently fed.
"That's right, I'm from space...Somewhere, up there.." she smirks as she points skywards, nodding again to her second question.
When Lacrima asks another question, she frowns and shakes her head. "Well, that would be silly. If we wiped out humanity, we'd have nothing to feed on, and would have to move on...We've travelled so long and so far to find a planet as full of life as this one, it'd be a waste. No. We just need enought to survive, but those damned magical girls keep popping up to inferfere!"
She clenches her fists as she speaks, clearly annoyed.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima head tilts. "So you've had run ins, too." she says. "With Tokyo's 'Heroes'." she says. "Yes. They don't like the fact I need to eat energy from people, despite the fact it does not kill them and all they do is wake up later a little tired." she insists.
"Oh. Good. You have the same outlook I do. That is. I need humans to survive. If they stop existing. That is trouble for me." she says.
She head tilts.
"Getting upset at the 'heroes' is not very productive." she says. "At least when they're not around. I find it makes me burn energy faster, when I experience high negative emotions. However. My situation is much different than yours. You probably do not." she says.
- An has posed:
"Yeah, as a matter of fact, I have.." she pauses, considering. It would make sense to not wipe out the entire human race. But what if that's what the Makaiju wants? She cant really speak for the Makaiju, or Ail's plans, whatever they may be; Only for her own. And while she has no love of the human race, they're more use to her alive than dead. At least for now.
"Well, it seems that our goals are similar, even if you're not an alien.." She smirks, almost throwing that out like an insult. But catching herself at the last moment. This girl is no longer human, either.
She frowns at her last comment, however. "I have every right to be upset with them! However...." maybe she's right, maybe she is burning energy. "Well, right now, I'm starving, and I just lost my meal..." She nods towards the collapsed sanitation worker, then looks pointedly at Lacrima, as if she could fix her little problem..
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima ahs. "No, sadly, I'm returning back into this plane of existence from being 'purifed'." she says. "I have nothing to spare for you. I myself, need to drain more people within the next hours." she says.
"However. I will help. I will be coming back here. With a person. You drain them." she says as her form shifts to... Norie. Norie who hasn't been seen properly in Tokyo when she went missing.
She walks out into the sidewalk....
She comes back, dragging someone. "Oh my." she says, voice filled with mock concern. "The hurt puppy is right over here..." she says dragging a boy along with her who seems to be in his later teens.
Orders up, it seems!
- An has posed:
An arches a brow, about to protest to Lacrima's response. She'd argue that she could easily drain on the vampire, with all the energy she's recently drained she is probably ripe for the picking! But of course, Lacrima is probably the closest she could ever hope to finding an ally among the earth creatures.
She smiles coolly as she thinks this over. Yes, might as well spare her for the time being. She may prove useful. And then, quite surprisingly, the girl offers to bring her something to drain.
"Oh? What's this..? Why would you do that?" and suddenly, there he is, a plump young boy, who looks just full of energy. She smiles wickedly as she flutters over to him, grabbing his free hand and without a word, An begins to drain his energy.
"So sorry, we're all out of puppies today!"
'Norie' is given a quick, wicked smile and nod as she works on sucking the boy - not enough to kill him, but enough to get her fill at least. "Ahh, that hit the spot. Seems I underestimated you, Miss...?"
Ah right, she didnt get a name yet..
- Norie Okana has posed:
The boy seems confused. It happens so fast. He's drained. He falls unconcious. Lacrima moves down to pick him up and move him over by the still unconcious sanitation worker. "Do you feel better now?" she asks softly.
She head tilts. "Lacrima." she says, shifting back to her 'normal' form-- the dress, and pale complexion all.
"Because." she says quietly. "I know what it's like to be 'starving'. I do not like to feel like that. It makes me feral and unintelligent and I just attack until I drain enough to regain coherence." she says.
"It sounds like you need it just as bad as I do." she says softly.
"It's easy to trick people. Like that." she says. "Mock concern. Drag them in a hurry and make it seem urgent. It's a trick that a friend taught me." she says.
"Then you drain them when you get them alone." she says.
- An has posed:
A slow smile appears on An's face as she drains the boy, feeling her energy gradually returning to her. "Ahh, that's soooo much better. I feel great!" she drops him once he loses consciousness, barely giving him a second glance as Lacrima scoops him up and out of the way.
"Hmph. Well, seems like I owe you one then, huh." Well, that's about the closest she can get to saying 'thank you..' "Soo, you're a professional at this, hmmm?" looks like An could learn a thing or two from her. It wouldn't hurt to ally herself with this one.
"hah, that was great! Trickery huh. I'll have to use that next time. Oh, my name is An.."
Peering at the girl as she easily shifts from one appearance to the next, An does likewise, twirling around and instantly shifting into her civilian appearance.
"In this guise, I am known as Natsumi Ginga. It's much easier to walk around when you dont look like an alien!" Well at least her mood's improved a bit.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima nods. "I am...."
"Well my other name is Norie Okana. But that name doesn't mean much to me anymore. You'll notice that 'she is missing'." she says quietly. "But you may hear people call me 'Norie'." she says.
She head tilts, and nods a bit with a deadpan expression still. "I apologize if I come off as cold. I do not feel... 'positive emotions'." she says softly. "Very well. Or much at all." she says.
"Natsumi..." her expression does soften just for a moment. "Ah.. you share a name. With someone very important to me." she says. "I will call you. Ginga-san. For now." she says softly.
"I need to. Continue on. And drain some more people before midday. My apologies." she says as she begins to slip off into a nearby shadow. Where she dissapears, perhaps mysteriously!
- An has posed:
"Norie..? I think I heard about her in the news. Why is she missing then? So you can be Lacrima all the time?" she smirks. Well, whatever it is, it doesnt' really concern An much. What does concern her is energy, and potential allies.
"Well then. Nice to meet you, Lacrima-san..Cant say I have many allies, but it seems we have an understanding. I imagine we'll run into each other again." She nods as she watches the other girl disappear into the shadows. As for herself, it's about time she checked in on the Makaiju..
