Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus spent the better part of last night trying to calm Haruna down. She felt bad. Even as a Precure, she couldn't protect one of the few friends she's managed to make so far from something terrible and dark. She also wondered if this is how she made people when she was draining souls as Scorn. This isn't really a particularly happy mindset, to be in- and above it all--- Haruna didn't want Hannah upset at her for failure to protect Ao, either.

Corvus managed to calm her down well enough to sleep and in the morning, she felt much better about it. Still not sure, but at least she understood she did her best.

A stop in the gift shop, and an elevator trip later, Haruna arrives at the door of a hospital room holding a card, silver raven on her shoulder as she knocked on the hospital door, before peeeeeking in through a small crack opening it a little...

"Ah...it's me! Haruna..." pause. "Is it okay for me to come in?" she asks sheepishly.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Although Yuko hasn't been as distressed about the Ao situation, she still felt like she had a duty to make it up to her, Hannah, and Haruna somehow. After all, she had gotten there too late to stop the strange doll, and there was little the Precure could even do to fix anything after the fact. The logical part of mind told her that there wasn't any reason for her to feel that way what with her lack of omnipotence and all, but...

     Well, heroes didn't always follow logical ways of thinking. Still, Yuko does try to contribute in some small way: She arrives at the hospital and the door to Ao's room with a backpack full of freshly baked (and soft!) snack foods. Spotting Haruna and Corvus, she tosses the two a sheepish wave before moving over behind them to form a sort of queue for visitation. Or.. However that worked.

     Clearly, she hasn't been to hospitals very often.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
That strange girl that burst into the room for Ao along with the heroes is here! Miss White sits beside the sleeping form of Ao Karina, hooked up to a dozen different medical devices. Objectively, she's better: skin's less pale, she's breathing easier, heart rate is more stable than it's ever been. However, she's still out like a light, and has shown little signs of consciousness. A coma, according to the doctors. Not unusual, they said.

It's taken true force of will for Miss White to not just punch them. She's feeling unusually violent today, and protective. One hand clings to Ao's as she sits, the other side of the room taken up by the massive russinan Familiar Viktor.

"...Swear to God, Vik, gonna find that little piece of trash, and feed it limb by limb to Rap-kun personally!"

Viktor winces a bit, only to seize upon the distraction brought by the two entering girls.

"Da, come in comrade!" Even his voice feels hollow and worried. Not a good sign.

"Hey, Haruna-chan." Miss White says, not bothering to force cheer into her voice. There's a quiver there, though in rage or sadness it might be difficult to say.

She pulls out a chair, then another.

Hmm? Is that Yuko?

"Oh, hello there. Do...you know Ao-chan?" Thank goodness she left her Device on.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa just has a lot of baggage of the emotional variety and a week hasn't exactly been enough to clear it all. She walks in. "Um...I bought... a card... Oh! Yuko-chan~ Ar--" Oh Hannah asks for her. She head tilts at Yuko now. Hannah doesn't know her? Might just be Ao's friend then. She places the card next to a table next to the machines that Ao-chan is hooked up to. She looks down.

"I'm... I'm really sorry. I took off... when Corvus told me felt something...." she says softly. "Th.. that thing kept throwing these stupid rabbits in my way--- I couldn't catch her." she says as she looks down.

"Now she's all like this again..." she looks down.

She looks up to Viktor. She blinks. It's that russian guy from the arcade. She blinks.

"Uh...Hi-again!" she says to him.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     "Hey, Haruna-chan. And... Weren't you at the game center?" Going from a sympathetic smile at Haruna to a surprised look at Viktor, her face all but freezes when she spots Miss White. So /that/'s what she forgot to do. It suddenly comes to her that she prooobably should've transformed first before showing up. What's a girl to do in such a situation?

     Lie her pants off. "H-huh? Oh. Um.. yeah! She's a... Been by my store a couple of times. I heard she got hurt, so..." She wiggles that backpack a bit and manages an awkward chuckle. Master liar, she is not.

     Still, the thought probably counts for something, right? "Is it okay if I come in? I've got snacks and soft foods in case the hospital stuff tastes like... Erm. Hospital stuff."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White takes a small sigh. She stands up, walks over, and will try to grip Haruna's shoulders.

"Haruna-chan, deep breath. Calm. We /all/ screwed that last one up. No point in getting mopey and depressed. Reflect. Plan. Get stronger. You know what she's capable of now. We can make it up to Ao-chan by taking out a threat to her." Comes the girl in an almost big-sisterly tone. Then she lets go.

She manages a smile. "Besides. You were there when she needed you. If she..." Her strong demeanor cracks for a moment, and eyes screw shut.

"If she were awake right now she'd be hugging you and me and telling us to stop worrying. Chin-up, okay? Being sad like this doesn't suit you."

Then she peers to Corvus. It's her usual glare, the chance to offer a scathing glance a bit cathartic after everything.

"What'd you sense, anyway, Pidgeon-kun? My Familiar got some data, but not much." They were all preoccupied after all.

Viktor offers a wave. "Hello...green kitten? Am comrade of Miss White. Pays good, should think of second career." Black kitten sounded less strange.

To Yuko, Viktor grins. "Dah! Is good for blood-flow, DDR and silly fighting game! Develop rat-like reflexes!" That's not how it goes, Viktor.

It puts a ghost of a smile on Hannah's face though. She 'peers' at Yuko. Suspicion is open on her face, but she rolls with it, covering for the girl in turn.

Was she one of the girls who responded to help, or just a truly concerned citizen? She'll have to dig more into her favorite grocer later.

"Yeah, yeah. Come in, please. Anybody who cares about Ao like that is welcome. Friend of a friend, and all that." She stands up, and offers a hand.

"Kasagami White, nice to meet you." Odd name. Maybe she's half japanese?

"...She fainted. Ao's never been in the best of health. She probably overworked herself." Yup, roll with it Hannah.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus ducks behind Haruna in an almost comical fashion when he gets glanced at. He's really certain that Hannah is going to fry his bacon and serve him at her next BBQ. Haruna digs him back up and cradles the big, pets, and places him back on her shoulder. There's kind of Yuko here, but Corvus apparently just doesn't care, so he talks.

"Just overpowering darkness." that's all Corvus said. It's not like he's some sort of magical scanning device. "Kind of like how a Terribad feels, or some sort of youma."

She looks back towards Yuko and Viktor.

She blushes. "Ah--as long as.. you're not upset at me.. White-chan." she says looking down a little. "I hope she'll be okay. What did...um...."

"Overworking..." You can hear the vauge air quotes, more of Yuko's sake--- nevermind the talking bird.

"Do to her...?" she asks softly.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     "Kitten..?" There's another blank stare from Yuko to Viktor at being called that, a light giggle escaping her a moment later. "Really? Well.. I'll think about it." Sure, Miss White did do some morally questionable things liek rob a bank, but... Money.

     ... No! She couldn't let such thoughts corrupt her. She was a Precure, dammit, and she... Would have to keep that down for the time being. Still, to have her thoughts shaken to such an extent... She'd need to work on that on her own time.

     Besides, she's got bigger things to worry about. Namely, Miss White looking at suspiciously! Was Yuko found out so easily? She'd have to be careful not to say anything else that would incriminate her. She does offers her a somewhat awkward smile in return, taking the girl's hand and shaking it firmly.

     "Minami Yuko. Pleased to meet you, too, White-san." There's even a bit of suspicion on Yuko's face at the explanation, but there's no way she can reveal what she does know without... Well, revealing herself. At least Corvus is helping to take that heat off of her, intentionally or not. What might be even more suspicious, however, is the fact that Yuko's not even questioning the existence of a talking bird nor any of the things he's talking about. Terribads, youma, but not a peep from her!

     Instead, she just takes her backpack off and sets it down to reveal... Baked goods! All pre-wrapped and carefully packed in several harder containers for safe storage. "Is Ao-chan awake? If she's overworked herself... Hmm. The caffeinated ones might be good, but that might stress her heart too much. And too much sugar's not good, either." She puzzles over those boxes for a while, then looks over at Haruna, Miss White, and Viktor. At least Haruna's trying to help keep her cover, even if the green-haired girl is forgetting to. Sort of. "Oh. Aah... Would any of you like anything to eat? There's probably stuff in here Ao-chan shouldn't be eating anyway, so... Dig in?"

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Her moment of fun completed, Miss White sighs, and then just gently rubs the top of Corvus' head with a finger. See? She can live and let live!

"Thanks." She whispers to the little birdie. Is this...a truce? Probably. It won't stop her from grilling the poor bird later though. She has a reputation to uphold.

"Just get stronger and keep trying to help Ao-chan, and no matter what side we end up on, you'll always be my friend, Haruna-chan." Adds Hannah with an oddly calm smile, all warmth and simply /her/. The darkness ever growing in her heart recedes for a moment, but then her blast shields of charm and worry over a friend raise right back up.

"Near as I can tell? Physical exhaustion. Ao-chan isn't exactly the most hardy of people. So she might be out for a few days." She gulps, and insecurity reigns in her face.

"...Or weeks." She mumbles. Suddenly both hands are rubbing Ao's limp one. She doesn't look to the two girls or Viktor anymore, instead her world entirely herself and Ao for a few moments.

"....Huh?" Yuko shocks her back into reality, and then she tries a smile. She lets go of the shake.

"Oh. Uh, heh. Charmed, kiddo." Deep breath. In. Out. Miss White is on pins and needles, and she hates herself for her own weakness. She needs to be strong, for Ao, even for Haruna.

At Yuko's question, Ao takes the opportunity to mumble.

"...careful White-chan...urt yourself...need to smile more..." The girl offers in some dream, before she falls silent, right back into her sleep. Hannah shivers, hope glowing then dieing off.

"She drifts in and out. Usually how it happens. Bluntly, she could be out for an hour, or weeks. Hard to say."

She pats the offered food though. "Thank you, Yuko. You're a good girl. Doing that for her, I mean." Her words are heartfelt, and she looks away. Yuko and Haruna are here for her best friend. God, she wants to hug them both so much right now. Tears are wiped away with an arm. Another deep breath, and some small bit of enthusiasm comes to her voice.

"She's a light eater! Come on, let's dig in! No need for it all to go to waste! She'd yell at me for hours if I let that happen!" She reaches for a container of bread, and starts to devour it with obscene haste.

Magic can work up one heck of an appetite.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa just knows Yuko as that green haired girl she met the other day at the Arcade who won a free cake!. She doesn't know she's Cure Boost. If she did we'll she'd be flying into a hug and thank yous and other things. She smiles at White-san. "I'm sure she'll be sooner rather than later." she asks.

In reality, Haruna wants to walk into the nearest bathroom and start banging on the mirror and command Blue/God/Kami-Sama to make with the healy blue sparkles. But she knows that isn't how these things work because if there's ANYTHING she's learned this week, it's that gods are really horribly flawed.

She does peek at foods. "Um.. there. Uh. No. I think I'm full." she says weakly.

Corvus seems to appreciate the head rub and starts feeling a little better about life. He peeks down into the bag. Oh. Is that bread!? Oh god share it! Share Share Share! Wait. He just kind of swoops down to the bag and begins sort of wing rumaging through it.

"I think he's hungry thou..." she says as she head tilts.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Yuko can't help but feel an upswell of sympathy for Miss White. Here she is, with her injured friend, and the solution to the problem isn't just punching the hell out of something. Granted, if that was the solution, Yuko would be joining right in, but the most she can do at this point is give the girl a firm pat on the shoulder.

     "H-hey. Ao-chan will be okay. She just needs her rest, and the doctors... Or someone will find a way." There's a knowing look in her eyes as she says that, offering another sympathetic smile to both Miss White and Haruna. Inwardly, though, she's already starting to wonder if her gamble in potentially revealing herself to them was worth it.

     ... Wait. What was she even supposed to gain from doing that? Oh well.

     Still, Ao-chan's mutterings did seem to help, and Yuko actually seems content to just sit back to let the others go for the food first. She had brought them for their benefit, after all! The green-haired girl gives Haruna a worried look, her head tilting to the side just a bit. "Are you sure? There's plenty for everyone. Bread, muffins, croissants... I think some donuts, too. It's not healthy to go too long without eating." She even looks towards Corvus and Viktor, waving at them and gesturing at the food. "You, too. Feel free to..." She pauses at watching Corvus dive right in, a light giggle leaving her a moment later. "... Dig in."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah gives Ao's hand another gentle squeeze as Haruna speaks. She needs to have confidence in her friend. For all the battles Hannah's been through, Ao's been through ones just as deadly. She gently puts the other girl's hand at her side, brushes a brunette lock of hair from her face, then turns back. Yuko too speaks words of encouragement. They'll find a way. Miss White won't let it be otherwise.

"Yeah. She's strong. So, she is going to be okay." Mutters the girl, before there's food.

Nom nom nom! Corvus and Hannah may well be devolving into an eating contest here, all manners dropped as she's stuffing her face!

"Mmph! Pretty good, Yuko-chan!" She mutters in between sucking down food. Viktor, for his part, is daintily eating a muffin. With a knife and fork. Despite his side, he seems to be a light eater!

After a while, Miss White stands. The two girls will be all but pulled into a hug if they'll allow it!

"...I appreciate it. Both of you." Pause. "For being here. I won't forget this." Then she slumps down into a chair.

Leaning back, it's not long before she's snoring away, exhaustion finally claiming her.

Haruna Kurosawa is hugged, and Corvus is eating and with White-san falling into a nap, So she sneakily grabs Corvus, who has a gigantic hunk of bread in his mouth up out of the bag and places him on her shoulder. She begins to leave and opens the door.

She looks back. "Are you coming, too Yuko-chan?" she asks, head tilting a bit. She doesn't seem as awkward talking to Yuko right now when she first did...

Which she tried to shyly hiddddde behind arcade machines.

"I think they both kinda need rest." she says sheepishly.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     There's some visible relief in Yuko's expression once Miss White relaxes, even settling into eating her share of that food. Yuko even scoops up a muffin for herself, making sure to eat the bottom first before even touching the top. That's where all the good stuff is, after all! The hug does draw a light squeak from the green-haired girl, but she does return it after the initial surprise.

     And then she's asleep! She makes sure to leave the leftovers in a closed container behind and puts a blanket over Miss White before heading out with Haruna, an appreciative smile given to the blonde girl.

     "They do. It's... Been a rough day, I bet. And thanks for coming. I almost blew my cover back there." She chuckles lightly and wipes her head off dramatically. Sure, she wasn't actually sweating, but... But... Dramatic effect, dammit! She does look considerably more relaxed now, though, without anyone else to listen in one them.

     "It's good to see you and Corvus still around. Was getting worried after what happened back at that tower..." She reaches over to try and pet the bird lightly. "How are you two doing, anyway? Adjusting okay?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles. "White-san'll be okay!" she says. "She's a good friend...." she says softly....

Then Yuko begins talking about the tower, and she pauses, and her eyes widen, then begin closing. "Ah... you were. there!? Ah--w--who are you?" she asks suddenly. "I mean. If you were there. You. Already know who I am." she says softly, giving a side long glance standing just outside the room.

Corvus doesn't stop a pet. Pet's are good.

"I was in a lot of pain. So was Corvus. We're... okay now. It's just..." she bites her lip. "It's hard. I've been... dead inside of the past two years..." she admits.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Yuko actually seems surprised by Haruna's own surprise! "Y-yeah, I was. You don't...? Oh! Right. Because.." She nods slowly as it all comes back to her. Seeing Haruna as Cure Boost, seeing Haruna turn into Cure Gull, but never actually showing up as Yuko.. Right. Time to fix that.

     She's still petting Corvus, of course. Good formerly-demonic-bird.

     "I'm Cure Boost. Er... The one with the shields." She stops in the petting for a moment to punch her fists together, mimicking the motions she would normally make to draw out those massive shields of hers." She glances at the door as well, then continues while lowering her voice.

     "... So yeah, that was me. It's good to meet another Cure." She smiles brightly for a moment, although her expression softens once Haruna opens up about how she's been feeling. Yuko stays where she is for a moment to figure out the best course of action, eventually deciding on stepping forward to try and give Haruna a light hug.

     "Well... You're safe now. Er. Sort of. I mean, with the type of stuff we're involved in..." She starts, then trails off. That sort of talk won't help the girl feel better! Instead, Yuko just tightens the hug for a brief moment before stepping back and keeping her hands on Haruna's arms lightly. "But you're not alone any more, okay?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts. Her eyes light up when she say's she's Boost and really, reaching out to hug Haruna at that point isn't nessacry because she's already pretty much mid leap at Yuko and hugging tightly. "T..thank you..." is all she can say. "Blue said that.... I'd become something horrible... if I didn't..." she trails off. "Thanks..." is all she can really say in the end. Regardless, she does listen to Yuko talk, and make those hand motions...

She remembers those hand motions. She did them.. at....

"Ack! I...I though you... were. Threating me... when you did that. At the Arcade." she says sheepishly.

She beams. "I know I'm not alone. Just..." she says. "Kind of hard. To make friends sometimes... when everything you open your mouth. Stuttering comes out." she says.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Yuko's actually caught a bit off guard by Haruna coming towards her, although she does manage to avoid an actual collision! That's always a good thing, right?

     "O-oh, sorry. I wouldn't do that to you after all that. I couldn't do that in here even if I did." She laughs lightly and pauses for a moment, then laughs again albeit a little more awkwardly. "N-not that I'd want to! But.. You know what I mean, right?"

     Lowering her hands to give Haruna some personal space again, she adjusts a strap on her backpack before speaking up again. "No need to rush yourself. Getting used to talking to people is tough. Takes months and months of practice even to get like this." Yuko points at herself, then furrows her brow upon recalling what Haruna had said a moment ago.

     "But what do you mean that Blue said you'd... Become something horrible if you didn't do something?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa looks down. "I guess you don't know that story..." she says softly.

"I met Corvus... during a muesum trip. He was trapped in some sort of tablet. He said that, if I could free him. He would give me a wish. I wanted to... wish my sister back from.. um. The dead..." she says softly.

Corvus kind of closes his eyes and also begins to look /extremly/ guilty.

"He was lying. He made me... drain souls, just so he could get out and--- destroy everything that upset him-- the world... humans..." she begins to look guiltier.

"Some people came together and sealed him in the tablet, but I was still left with. Those powers--- and they began to poison me and my heart. It made me easy for something to control me and do something terrible to release him."

"That's what. That night was about. Corvus took. Part of my soul. All that was left was. Corruption...Darkness... Evil. Whatever you want to call it. If.. if Blue wasn't there. If... if..." she swallows a bit. "I'd be something like that doll thing... or worse." she says.

"I know my sister isn't dead now. She's just... captured. Because she was a Pretty Cure...." she says softly. Corvus is awfully silent.

"oh! Um.. Corvus. Isn't like that now. He lost someone important too.... it was a long time ago. But. It's what. Made him that thing. I couldn't. Just... destroy him. Or seal him. When...."

Corvus speaks softly. "I owe Haruna a lot...." is all he says.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Yuko remains silent as Haruna tells her and Corvus' story, eventually biting her lip lightly at the mention of Haruna's dead sister and the lengths she went to in order to try and bring her back. She even looks over at Corvus for a moment, although she doesn't say anything at all. It's not until Corvus speaks up that the green-haired girl finally speaks up.

     "That's... Hnn. That's rough. So what we have to do now is figure out who captured your sister and where she is." She nods slowly to herself while her cheeks puff out: First on one side, then the other. She starts pacing for a moment before turning to face the two suddenly, actually looking somewhat serious in her expression.

     "Just remember, Haruna. Corvus. Whatever you did before is behind you. Good, bad, whatever. The important thing is that you're willing to make up for the things you did starting now. If you can do that..." She looks from Haruna to Corvus, then grins confidently at them and holds a hand out while opening her mouth to continue in dramatic fashion.

     ... And then she stalls. She struggles for a while to come up with something to really seal the deal, the hesitation and uncertainty becoming visible on her face. By the time the awkward silence sets in, she lets out a long sigh and droops in place. "... Nn. That didn't come out as cool as it was supposed to. Uh.. B-but you get what I mean, right?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa ahs! "I already know who took my sister...." she says softly. "Blue called him the Precure Hunter.... Phantom. He also said he doesn't want me trying to fight him...." she says softly. "I talked with him a lot... and another man." she says. "Cure Tide- my sister, used to work for a group called Virtue. So that's where I am right now." she says with a series of nods. She smiles some.

"Ah--- Yuko, it's okay! I get what you're trying to say!" she beams. She leans forward and takes her hand.

"Wanna come back to my dorm room and play that game with me?" she asks. "The one I won at the Arcade!" she says softly.

Yuko Minami has posed:
     Yuko's expression brightens as Haruna takes her hand, and she chuckles softly at that reassurance. "Great! Yeah, I'll have your back. As will.. Um. Virtue?" That's a name she doesn't recognize. As a word, sure, but as a group? She'll have to investigate that further given more time. Hearing Phantom's name pop up again also gets her attention fairly quickly, but she doesn't say anything about that right away. Although she's already aware of his existence, actually tracking him down is something else entirely.

     Then again, now's probably not the best time to dwell on such serious subjects for too long. No, it's time to relax for once! "Ooh.. The Gamebox.. .Bone.. Thing? Sure, that sounds great!" Her eyes light up at that. If there's one thing that can snap Yuko out of an unending train of thought, it's video games!
