Naota Uneme has posed:
It's hot!

Why is it so hot?

Are we being punished?

Well, Naota for one isn't going to take this weather lying down! No, he's put on his swim trunks (navy blue with a red stripe along the cuffs), grabbed his towel, put on a healthy amount of sunblock (because sunburns are no fun!) and has now arrived at the pool! He'd called Ataru and Kiri to suggest they join him. Kiri was busy, sadly.

Ataru Touya has posed:
Pools. POOLS. His worst enemy because. Well. He's either going to go through the embarrasment for putting on a girl's one piece, which he doesn't want to do.--- or wear normal swimtrunks but also keep a shirt on and look weird about it. He takes the lesser of two evils and decides to call Naka-Chan.

"I'll be just a bit late. Need to pickup something first."

Ataru arrives in bright red swimtrunks, and a black t-shirt. He also now has sunglasses that improve his coolness stat by +50. He also has a dab of sunblock on his nose, which has the effect of -10 coolness.

Look 40+ net gain of coolness is still pretty good.

"Hi Naota-kun~" says Ataru. "I'm here! Not too late. I didn't really own a proper swimsuit yet." he insists.

"How do I look!?" he asks. He glances towards the pool.

Junko Fuma has posed:
Weee! What could be more fun in the heat?

Well, ice cream and a whole waterpark might be, but the pool is pretty great too! So here Junko is, sitting at the edge of the pool in her bathing suit-- a tankini witha white bow, red and white stripes on the top and ruffled blue shorts. Sailor bathing suit! She even has a little fish hairclip to keep the blue hair out of her eyes. She also happens to be leading a group of younger kids in the pool through the theme song of some action senshi show, complete with all the arm poses. Because maturity is overrated, anyway!

At the end of the song, the group as a whole lets out a cheer, including Junko-- who then grins evilly and splashes at the kids. "Grr! Now I am Baron EvilBear! Watch out!" She says, before proceeding to jump in and start chasing children.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    It's the middle of summer... And after her mysterious injury, her coach wanted her to at least take a few days off to recover... So today she's resting on a beach chair at the pool, dressed in a one piece bathing suit. Her right arm is still in a sling, and under that arm she's holding on possessively to what looks like a medium-sized plush doll.

    Of course, if Raquel had her way, she'd be tucked away somewhere nice and cool... likely still back at Verone Accademy's dorm. Either way, she was here, and Mari was hugging her. There could be worse fates.

    Admitedly, Mari would much rather be at practice.. but if she's being forced to take time to recover, working on a decent tan could be a second best option. She wasn't really here with anyone though, so for the moment she was just off by herself.

Naota Uneme has posed:
    "You look fine, Ataru." He gives his friend a shoulder-bump. "Let's just have some fun in the water today, okay?" He watches Junko's antics and grins, racing toward the pool until a stern look from the lifeguard makes him slow down to get in under normal pool regulations.

Ayana has posed:
"CANNON BALLLLLL!" declares a voice from the bath house. Out rushes a girl with long black hair trailing behind her, dressed in a green tankini (sans shorts). Ayana rushes towards the water full tilt, feet slapping the concrete as she runs and leaps into the air. And indeed, she does curl up into a cannon ball and lands with a surprising amount of splash for a small girl.

Ataru Touya has posed:
Ataru Touya walks to the side of the pool and smirks. "Of course I look fine. I always look fine." he insists, voice full of false bravado of egotisim. He grins. He however, just splashed by a cannon ball jump. Also. There's an evil 'baron' chasing children. He can't help but giggle. Just a bit. His eyes glance over to Mari a moment. Getting a tan could be nice, too. But he'd rather just swim. So he grabs the ladder into the deep end and paddles out a few feet from the side of the pool.

"Oh. Water's nice and cool." he insists. "Come on Naota-kun. Get in."

Junko Fuma has posed:
"Eeeyaaa!" Junko says, as suddenly there's a huge splash! When it's over, everyone's drenched, and looks are exchanged before all the children (and Junko), all begin to cheer. "That was so great!" They probably manage to drown out any objections such a large splash might bring up. Junko herself bounces to the center of the pool, looking for Ayana as she surfaces, eyes sparkling. "That was great! So cool!" And then a grin as she points to the fox girl, "You! Join me as Baron Evilbear's fearless partner!" She throws her arms skyward, apparently really into her role, and is probably having more fun than anyone younger than her is. "Come on! It'll be fun! We just have to capture the younger kids." A thumbs up is given, with absolute confidence in her ploy to 'terrorize' the people swimming!

Mari Katsu has posed:
    That.. was unexpected. She went from relaxing to soaking wet as Ayana's cannon ball displaces enough water to have it shower her all the way over on her lounge chair. Opening one eye, Mari peers at the gorup with a slight smile before she starts to move to join them, only stopping when she realizes she'll have to put down her 'toy' to do so. ... After the other day, she was hesitant to DO that...

    A few moments pass, before Mari gently places Raquel down on the chair after she stands up and quietly steps over to the edge of the pool, slipping her feet into the pool before she slides into the water as well, remaining on the shallow end of the pool so that her feet can rest on the floor comfortably.

Naota Uneme has posed:
    Naota blushes. "I was gonna get in! I just didn't want to go to fast, that's all." He sits on the edge of the pool, dangling his feet in the water for a minute or two before sliding in and swimming after Ataru. "You wanna go stop the baron, maybe? We could be heroes an' all that."

Ayana has posed:
Ayana surfaces again with a curiously small doggy paddle, then spits water out right at poor Junko. Then her sapphire eyes widen in surprise and she blushes. "Sorry! I didn't see you!" She glances over her shoulder at the lifeguard, who is busy yelling at her not to run again or else she'll be banned from the pool. With a roll of her eyes, she glances back to Junko, then asks, "WHo is Baron Evilbear? And why am I his fearless partner?"

Ataru Touya has posed:
Ataru Touya goes back to watching the 'chaos' in the pool of Junko and Anaya splash about. He gives a smug grin as he looks over to Naota-kun. He looks over to plushy girl as she joins in. He looks back to Naota. "Sure. Let's go 'save the day'. "Come my royal steed!" wait. When did Naota-kun become a steed!?

"Or.. Knight. Or something. Whatever a Prince has! COME!" he insists as he begins swimming that way towards the group.

"Here we come to /save the day/." he insists.

Junko Fuma has posed:
Junko sticks her tongue out at the lifeguard when he starts interfering, only to get spat on by Ayana! "Geh!" She says, then dives down before rising again, shaking her head fiercely and liking splashing water on nearby people herself. Then she looks at Ayana, a glint in her eye. Suddenly, she raises both arms like a scary bear! "BARON EVILBEAR! Sworn enemy of the Senshi Wild Five!" Behind her, a boy and girl of about seven do the Senshi Wild Five poses, while Junko lowers her arms and nods repeatedly, pleased. Then she points to Ayana again, "And you're the partner because you've got what it takes! We have to catch all these children!"

Wait, did someone just say they're here to save the day? Junko looks behind her with exaggerated fear, "Oh no! Heroes!" She says, and tries to paddle behind Ayana. "Such heroic figures!" Goodness, is she putting a hand to her forehead and pretending to stagger in the water? Yes, yes she is. The children involved in this little play cheer excitedly for Naota and Ataru, enjoying this little water circus.

Ataru Touya has posed:
Ataru Touya is coming to the rescue! He pushes his hands out and pushes/splashes water in Junko's direction. He manages to still splash the children because children are here in the pool to be splashed and had fun with it. "I will defeat you in the name of!....um..."

"Good. Prince Pumpernickle!" he insists. Yeah. That fits in with Baron Evilbear, right? That'd be the good guy, right?"

He throws another splash of water.

That lifeguard is probably facepalming so hard at all the make belive haminess.

Naota Uneme has posed:
    Naota isn't a steed! Unless we're playing cavalry, but it doesn't look like we are! He accepts 'knight,' though. "Yeah! We're here to stop your evil schemes, Baron Evilbear! With, uh," he falters for a moment before rallying, "the power of true friendship! Take this! FRIENDSHIP WAVE!" He dives, swims forward and then comes up and throws a splash in Junko's direction!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana, being suddenly between the boys and their antics, and Junko's evil ways, takes the brunt of the splashing and waving. She sputters, and her long hair--already floating about her--goes every which way in the waves. She sinks beneath the surface, then surges up again, doggy paddling and sputtering unhappily. "Just like magical boys to be evil," she declares, then turns around to face Junko, grabs her by both shoulders, and /kicks/, sending waves of water splashing back at the boys even as it pushes Junko deeper into the water.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari actually raises an eyebrow at that... 'Magical Boys' comment.. Though she immiediately straightens her face in favor of moving a bit closer to the group.

"Ah... Hello!" The easiest way to ever break the ice. "Magical boys? That sounds like some kind of pool game. Do you need another player?" She asks as she gives a slight smile. "I may not look it, with my arm like this, but I happen to be pretty active!" She comments with a grin before she smiles innocently, her free hand slapping across the surface to send a wave of water at the group playfully to sort of cement her intentions - even if it meant having the entire group turn on her, it was still all in good fun, right?

Ataru Touya has posed:
Ataru Touya is indeed a magical boy. It's like some unwritten rule that magical boys /must be jerks/. Even if just a tiny bit. He acks! he continues to splash back. Splash Splash! Then Mari comes in with a sling and he calms down off it. He's not trying to hurt anyone here and he backs off a bit.

"Hey... are you sure your up for that?" he asks Mari with pursed lips a moment.

Junko Fuma has posed:
Junko is busy giggling and laughing behind Ayana, even as she's splashed with those ultimate hero splashes! Kids caught in the crossfire also start splashing wildly-- at each other, at the heroes, at the villains, honestly there's just people having fun and causing a ruckus. Even some parents, holding on to toddlers, show their kids how to smack the water, in the spirit of things.

As Naota dives in and gets closer, she turns to try and swim away-- but is suddenly grabbed from behind by Ayana, and with a "Gweh?!" sinks beneath the water as she serves to anchor Ayana, flailing beneath the water.

ONce she's down there, though, after a few seconds she slips out from beneath Ayano, and sneakily frog-paddles past the boys, holding her breath. If she manages it, she'll come gasping to the surface behind the boys-- not too far from Mari, actually. Just in time to see Mari splash at the boys. "Ya-haa!" Junko cheers, both fists aimed skyward as she jumps a bit-- causing a bit of a wave when she drops again, just enough to sway nearby giggling kids. "Baron Evilbear's Terror TeddyGang shall win the day! Oh ho ho ho ho!" Oh yes, a oujo laugh to top it all off, complete with the requisite pose.

The children seem to object to this, and an adorable little girl in the arms of her mother calls out towards Ataru, "Pwince Pumpanikky! Noo!" And helpfully leans down to try and splash herself. "Fwenship! Fwenship!" Uh oh. This seems to spur on the other kids! Soon there is splashing all over, and Junko bounces next to Mari and Ataru, grinning as she lifts a hand to try and keep water from getting in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'll stay nearby and make sure it's okay. Trust your onee-san and just have fun, neh?" She says with a wink.

Naota Uneme has posed:
It's a madhouse! A MADHOUSE!

Well, okay, it's a pool full of kids splashing each other. Naota is only too happy to join in the general melee, splashing left and right. "We're outnumbered, Prince! We need to watch out for each other." He swims so that he's back to back with Ataru. "Let us make this our last stand!" Posturing and posing are in evidence.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's support pillar vanishes beneath the waves, and once more the long-haired girl vanishes beneath the surface. She emerges again, once more sputtering and splashing doggy-style to try and right herself, then kicks away from the splashing towards the edge to try and right herself. Once she's clear of it, the fox-girl takes a breath and turns back to watch.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just smirks a bit at the concern before she gives a slow grin and nods her head.

"Don't worry. I've had worse done to me than this." She motions to the sling with a nod of her head before she smirks. "besides, i've still got one good arm and two perfectly fine legs. A water fight isn't going to kill me." She retorts with a grin as she glances to the others. "Besides What fun is a water fight without /everyone/ making it as chaotic as possible, ne?" She asks with a slight smirk before giving a thumbs up to Ataru. "Come on. Give me your best shot. If you don't, we'll just have to soak you till you fight back." She adds before giving a one handed slap of water to Ataru again. She's nothing if not persistant.

"So who's team am I on? Or is this a free for all~?" Mari asks with a grin.

Junko Fuma has posed:
"Mine!" Junko says happily, and if Mari isn't quick to dodge she'll find the exciteable blue-haired girl putting a hand on her (good, nonsling) shoulder! "Teddy Bear Troops, splash with all your might at the two heroes!" She declares, smacking water towards the pair of brave lads herself. Some of the kids prove their innate evil natures by ALSO splashing-- though some at each other more than at the boys.

Junko Fuma has posed:
....and that's about when the the shrill sound of a lifeguard's whistle blows through the pool area, and the buzzkill scowls, "Hey! Kids! No more splashing, that's dangerous!" Immediately the air is filled with a disappointed, "Awwwwww!" from all sides.

But the lifeguard isn't done yet. He jumps into the pool, heading straight towards Junko and looming over her, "Fuuuuuma! How many times do I have to tell you not to cause a ruckus?!" He barks out. Junko immediately gives a nervous laugh, turning to try and walk away, but the guard grabs her arm and starts dragging her out of the water, while pointing towards the others old enough to know better-- Naota, Ataru, Mari and Ayana! "You four! Out! One hour of reflection!" Can he even /do/ that?!

Well, no one else seems about to argue with him. Junko lets herself be dragged off with a sigh, but calls out, "Ahh! Sorry! I'll treat you to something tasty for playing along. And don't worry, kids, Baron Evilbear will be back!" A fist skyward! ANd the kids cheer, before continuing with less...splashy games.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana grumbles unhappily at the lifeguard and sticks out her tongue, but she does pull herself out of the water anyways. "You people are /mean/," she says to the lifeguard as she stomps off towards the lockers. "It was just a little splashing."

Junko Fuma has posed:
As the lifeguard lectures and rants at Junko, she stands there with an uninterested look on her face, tilting her head and smacking her temple to get the water out of her ears and completely not paying attention. Well, almost not paying attention. As soon as the lifeguard stops for breath Junko bows deeply, "I am very sorry! I was overcome with my feelings of summertime youth! I will be much more cautious and respectful, and must go apologize to my fellow swimmers and tell my friends where I have gone wrong, since you've shown me the error of my ways!" She salutes the lifeguard, who looks taken aback, blinking at this outburst, but Junko just bows again and then runs away, giggling and unrepentent, to the lockers.

When she sees Ayana there, she waves, "Hey! Sorry about getting you in trouble, neh? That lifeguard can be really boring. I think he broke up with with his girlfriend or something."

Ayana has posed:
"This is the fourth time this month I've been kicked out," Ayana says unhappily as she sticks her tongue out at the retreating lifeguard's back. "I think he just doesn't like tankinis." She motions to Junko's outfit, then to her own. "Too much tummy showing, I guess." She grins, then reaches up to wring her long hair out, then pads towards the locker rooms. "Honestly, I wish there was another public pool nearby I could go to, but my parents think I should learn to get on with this one, better, so they won't let me."

Junko Fuma has posed:
"Eh." Junko waves away the lifeguard and talk of tankinis, looking down at her own. Really it's less than an inch of stomach showing on her. Pretty modest. But she looks sidelong at the lifeguard, "Eh, he always finds some reason to yell at me. It's like he's against fun." Loud, dangerous, rambunctious fun. She grins at Ayana, "My dad says that energy is a sign of a healthy youth, though! So they don't call my house anymore because they just have to argue with him."

Finding her shoes, she slips on her sandals, then once dry enough she puts on a light sweater over the bathing suit.
