Tides and Tadases

Synopsis:	Haruna searches for a picture of her sister in her Cure identity! Tadase helps! Corvus gets paperwork! Everyone wins!

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
The Guardian Tea Garden is also a private Virtue meeting spot occasionally when a Guardians Only Club sign isn't hung up near the entrance. It isn't there right now. Tsukawa isn't here. Blue isn't here. No one of particular note is here. Really, all there is , is Haruna.

She's sitting at the tea table while she has a box of books. Scrapbooks, Photo Albums, Old Virtue Notices. Mainly. Haruna asked what kind of magical girl Aki was, and Tsukawa indulged this by plopping a box of important contents on her lap. Tsukawa never knew Cure Tide's identity- and that's sometimes just how it is with some of these organizations. He does now, of course.

She flips through the scrapbook and sighs a bit. It mostly has pictures of Virtue Tea Parties, small social events and things like that.

Corvus is standing at the tippy top of her head and peeking down over her nose.

"Is that her?" he asks.

Haruna ughs. "No." she says. "Amakawa-sensei said that she was blue and white, and that's kinda blue and yellow, isn't it?" she asks.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase Hotori, King's Chair of Seiyou's Guardians, is backing his way into the Royal Garden's entrance doors, a very large box in his hands. With school back in session, the crossover between the magical life of the Guardians and the more mundane work they do has returned in full force. Tadase himself is dressed in his full school uniform, Guardian's Cape and all, and once he backs into the door he sets the box full of paperwork down to stretch a bit. Kiseki leans over. "I don't see why we have to do this. It doesn't seem right for a King." he adds, looking at the box. "We could get someone else to do that."

Tadase shakes his head. "It's my responsibility, too!" Then he looks up and sees someone sitting at the table, and tilts his head a bit before he remembers who it is. The girl once called Scorn - Haruna Kurosawa. He smiles and waves as he starts to make the long trek to the table to see what she's doing, the box and it's contents forgotten for a moment. "Haruna-san!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa has the scrapbook over her face. Though Corvus can see from Haruna's head Tadase approaching. He gives a short blink. "Oh!...uh...... maybe...." she says to herself. "No... eyes.. aren't hers. Grrr...." she says under her breath. Why is it so diffcult to find a picture of Cure Tide in all this. Tsukawa assured her that was at least one.

Then there's a voice....

She puts down the book and blinks, and blinks again. Then a look of recognition washes over her face. This is the first time she's actually met Tadase since....

Well that night.

She circles the table quickly, and leans down to Tadase and before she even says anything, give Tadase a bright---not too tight because she doesn't wanna squeeze a fifth grader to death---hug.

"Ah--- T..thank you um..." she pauses awkwardly. "Um... that.. night. Blue told me that he needed the extra help with that.." she says sheepishly. She stands back up straight..

"I know you were there the night of.. the whole tablet thing, too." she says. "I really wanted to come help you guys then but... um. Amakawa-sensei said that... you guys aren't really. Good at the whole. Nursing dark energy stuff." she says silently.

"I'd been pretty useless really if I did." she says.

"I mean. Not that's the situation anymore...."

"OH... Um. This is Corvus." she says motioning to the bird on her head.

"Um. Maybe you knew that already."

Corvus sighhhhhhs just a little.

"What are you doing?" she asks. "I mean. With the box." she says.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase smiles. He waits for her to finish the hug and her stammering expanation and he just keeps smiling through it. He hugs along with her, and then lets her go and smiles. "It's okay. Everything's okay. I know a lot of the story from talking to Blue and Tsukasa-sempai."

Tadase looks down at her. "I'm just glad I was able to be there for you when you needed someone. That's my job - to be a helping hand on shoulders when people need it." Then he turns to the box. "Well, school's back in session, and I have some mundane things to look at too." he adds with a sheepish grin. "It's boring stuff, though. Having you here is much more interesting. Is there anything I can help you out with?" he asks. Kiseki is already in the air, flying over and curiously looking at what she's working on. Tadase looks up.

"Corvus, huh? I much prefer you this way than how you were the last time we met." he notes with a grin.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa is stammering a lot. This is a thing Haruna does. It's not particularly charismatic, but is understandable. "Um... actually. I'm... I'm just trying to find pictures of Cure Tide.... my sister." she says sheepishly. "So... um. I know what she looked like. I mean. I have. Pictures. At home. Just...." she shakes her head. "I did find some notices by her though."

"She apparently really liked kicking some guy named Oresky in the face."

"Then she said she was number one."

"I really dunno what that's about." she says with a blush.

Corvus head tilts. "I prefer myself this way. Speaking in rhyme forever is pretty much torture." he insists bemusedly.

"Um. But. I can stop that. If you need help. I mean. It's not like. The stuff I'm looking thorough is gonna dissapear..." she says.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase shakes his head quickly. "No no this is much more important!" he says, as he rushes over to look over the things at the table. "The other stuff can wait. I understand you wanting to see more about your sister."

There's a pause as he thinks. Kiseki is also stuck in a very overdramatic thinking pose. "Cure Tide... I think... I think I worked with her a few times!" he announces, and Kiseki nods too.

"She was very kind. But also very strong." he says, starting to look through some of the photo albums. "I didn't work with her much, of course... I wasn't really on her level, you know?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa ahs..."Oh...you've been doing this for a while then...huh?..." she asks as she looks down. She walks back over to her side of the table and sighs. She pulls out another book and begins peeking through pictures again. She taps the side of her head.

"Um. Oh. Right. Amakawa-sensei already warned about um. Some things." she says. "Like the P word. Or words like it." she says. "And some other stuff like that." she says.

"It's not like I have a reason to say words like that though." she says silently.

"Was Aki really that powerful...?" she asks sheepishly. "I'm still kind of. Getting the hang. Of the Cure thing. Blue's helped me understand a lot. Mainly. Not to worry and just let stuff happen. As weird as it sounds." she says sheepishly. "Like fighting. Or the intro speech. I dunno what that's even about. It just kinda happens."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase smiles. "Well, she was very strong, yes. But I'm not one of the heavy hitters so much. I leave the fighting of Oresky to people who are much more capable of punching evil in the face when it comes to that." he grins. "And Cure Tide, she was very good at that."

"Like Tsukasa, I didn't know her much as Aki. Things like this is why I'm trying to push for people to become more friendly. So that if something happens, we can lean on each other outside of our transformations too."

"Oh, I know all about things that just sort of... happen." he says, nudging a finger towards Kiseki. "It can happen on a lot of levels. The world has so much more going on. Things can happen almost automatically."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles. "It seemed sorta silly to hide my identity because a lotta people knew it anyways. I also. Kinda felt like I didn't deserve it. I did a lotta things that hurt people...." she says looking down. "And if people wanna talk to me about it...they deserve to." she says with a few matter of fact nods.

She peeks at Kiseki and looks down. "Um. That's a Guardian Character... right? Is that what Kiseki is?" she asks and looks down. "I asked Tsukasa a lotta things. He explained to me a little about that..."

"I'm pretty sure I broke my heart egg years ago at this point..." she admits sheepishly.

Corvus frowns and hops off the top of her head and onto the table, and turns to face Haruna. "You really can't continue to beat yourself up Haruna..." he advises. Haruna smiles and pets Corvus and preens him a bit. "Ha..I know Corvus-chan~" she says. "But... I mean. I can't.. hide from what I done. That isn't right." she says.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase looks up from the scrabooks and various photos. "Haruna-chan. Cure Gull. You can't keep punishing yourself for legitimate mistakes." he adds, looking up. "I think you need to forgive yourself, first. That's an important part of moving on. Of realizing that your past is behind you and the best way you can make amends is by being the best person you can, not beating yourself up about what happened then. Like Corvus said."

"Yeah, Kiseki is my Guardian Character." he says. "He can be a handful at times - that sort of fun isn't exclusive to your little tablet bird." there's a grin there. "Your heart's egg might even be broken, but you can still make your dreams shine brightly, by living your life with hope and love."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus is lost in a world of pets and preenings and----snap back to reality! "Right! What he said!" he says in a manner like he's covering for not paying attention. Haruna giggles because she knows what happened. "No. I know what you mean Tadase-kun~" she says. "I spent two years being sorry for myself. I guess it's just natural after a bit and hard to throw..." she says.

Corvus nods. "Baby steps. She actually went to a BBQ and didn't hide under a table!" He beams.

"Ah...!" she huffs.

She looks down at the album in front of her, and huhs! "Oh......!" she says as she picks up the picture out of it's pocket.

"Ah..! That's her!" she smiles. Indeed! That's a blue and white pretty cure. Who kinda looks like Haruna only older and well. Crazy Cure hair.

"...why is her hair so big..." she thinks. "I only get these spiky bangs...." she says blinking.

"That's her, right?" she asks at Tadase showing the picture. Yeah, that's Tide.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase nods. "Yes, that's her! One of the most awesome Pretty Cures I had the pleasure to fight alongside." he grins a bit. "It's just been a while, so it took me a moment to remmeber everything." he adds.

"But really. I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. Both of you..." he says, pointing to Haruna and Corvus. "You're a great example of what Virtue stands for. Second chances. Hope. Caring. Even for the people that might wrong us - because deep down, there's usually more to it than it looks. That's why I spend so much time trying to help them out. Because when we can help people like you, it's worth it all."

"If I was a strong as you and your sister, I could help even more. But... I'm happy to do everything I can. And if you need someone to back you up, I hope you know I'm always happy to."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa blinks. "A Cure's power must be measured in hair then or something." she says sheepishly.

"I met a Cure Boost recently. I'm gonna try to get her to join! She was there that night too." she giggles. She listens to Tadase's story and looks down. "That girl came flying at me when I went to save to Corvus from hitting the ground..." she says weakly. "If it wasn't for the senshi..." she murmurs.

Then Tadase starts on a tangent that she's heard from another magical guy!

"Ah...! Nonono!" she says with a huff at Tadase. She seems upset, but not at Tadase. "You sound like... Tuxedo Kamen! He says stuff like that too sometimes! But..if it wasn't for him.. and his friends...!" she squeezes her fists. "Blue is a god.. and.. and he even needed your help to stop me from, becoming something horrible." she says.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Now it's Tadase's turn to look a little sheepish. "I was just doing what anyone should have done in that situation. Not all strength is measured in magical power, though. So it's not a bad thing, it's just me doing what I know I'm good at!"

"Tuxedo Kamen is a good friend of mine. And I'd like to think Blue is, but that might be a bit presumptuous." Tadase laughs a bit. "I'm not being down on myself. I just know my talents might be closer to... helping people like you, than doing things directly. And there's nothing wrong with that, either. We're strong because we care about each other, because we protect each other."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles! "Tuxedo Kamen is a good person."

"Yes...! That's what I mean. Just because...I can.. I can fly up and then kick a jerk in the face doesn't make me.. stronger or better than you!" she huffs.

"...actually. Maybe I do get why Tide licked kicking people in faces..." she suddenly says with a blush.

"AH! I mean.. you know what I mean!" she says in a flustered huff.

Still she leans over and gives Tadase another hug, because really, Tadase earns all the hugs right now.

"Thanks for helping me find a picture." she says sheepishly, finally.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase grins as he's hugged again. "I meant what I said. I know you've gone through a lot - but I also know you're a good person. I know why you did what you did. And I really do want to help you however I can. Wether that's something big, like backing you up when it's time to do some of that Cure Kicking... or something like this."

"And I know one day I'll need help, and I have a feeling you'll be someone I can count on there, too."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles! she eventually releases the hug. She begins putting everything back in the box as she recloses it. She does keep the picture of Tide, if anyone complains, well---! She'll deal with that later. She looks down at the picture.

She beams and hands it over to Corvus. Who seems to magically store it for her... wether she keeps her PreCards, most likely.

She also places Corvus into her lap. "Can I help you with your thing now? You helped with mine! It's not like I have to race home to my dorm room..." she murmurs.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase grins. "Just don't say I didn't warn you that it was a little boring." he says, walking back to the front of the Royal Garden and picking up the box, before he carries it back to the table. He opens it up, and it's full of papers. "...some of these are notes from the new students. Some of them are requests from the other clubs... if you can help me sort them that would help me a lot, actually. No idea what the teachers just toss them in out of order..." he makes a dissapointed face.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams. "No problem! Corvus can help too!"

She places Corvus on the table who blinks. "Uh?...."

"...you can read, right Corvus-chan?" she asks.

"Yeah?"

"Then you can help!" she beams.

"This is for the ryhming joke the other day, isn't it." he huffs.

"Yup!" she says un-shamedly.
