Synopsis:	Haruna has Mari Katsu over for Christmas Eve get together!

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa was running around like a spastic seagull girl, because it's CHRISTMAS EVE. Aki got her a portable stovetop for the dorm room. Corvus got her just being there. Haruna got Aki the last three albums that were released of her favorite J-pop group that were released while she was mirrored- and she got Corvus a proper perch so he can have a place to call 'home' besides her bedpost.

Haruna is sort of pacing wildly. Aki is lounging on her bed and reading a book and listening to said albums. "You gotta relax, Haruna. You can't go through this everytime we have someone new over~" she says.

Haruna huffs! "But.. this is important okay!?" she says. "She helped save you too, and--- after the whole thing with Chiba-kun..." she crosses her arms and hrmph. "It's important I introduce you, okay!?"

Aki sighs and closes her book and takes off her headphones and looks at her watch. "So.. who is this again."

"Um... Mari Katsu... Katsu-chan! You know.. Suzu-chan's girl..." Haruna said. Aki tapped her bottom lip and recognition showed on her face. "Oh! Right! Yeah, I remember that now. So she's a Precure then, too? Right? So no worries then Haruna. We'll get along just fine!" she insists.

Corvus is reading today's newspaper on his perch. He seems to be staying out of this for now.

Mari might hear the freverent loud discussion from behind the door when she arrives. Excitment!

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just stares at the dorms as she arrives... Being here is intimidating compared to Verone, probably one of the only places Mari could actually say that. If verone hadn't accepted her, there was a good chance she'd have ended up here, and would be living a completely different life playing tennis for a completely different team! It's not a thought she dwells on long, that's not her style.. Instead her mind drifts to the fact that it's Christmas Eve and she's not with her family. Odd thing about that, given how close she and her sister are. Suzuki-chan was off doing her own thing, so when Haruna called.. She really didn't have a valid reason to turn her down, not that she would have. Just that she didn't have a reason.

    Making her way to the dorm room, Mari stops just outside when she hears the two speaking then pauses raising an eyebrow in silence before she stops and smiles reaching up to knock on the door. What she heard of the discussion was pretty true. Haruna did seem to be the excitable type... not that that was a bad thing at all. It was just something that made her giggle to think about, which was probably what Haruna or Aki would answer the door to see, Mari greeting them with a silly little grin while giggling at the tow sisters talking.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna sort of leaps at the door and opens it. "Katsu-chan!~ Hi! Come in!" she says as she tugs her inside, and peeks outside the door, looking up and down the hallway. She pouts a bit and closes the door. Aki sort of blinks and stands up. She has the familarity of Haruna to her---though her hair is shorter, and a little bit darker- almost a 'brown-blonde', a smidge taller. She's also dressed in a simple t-shirt and jeans. The shirt is a light blue. She smooths her clothes out.

"Katsu-chan, this is Aki Kurosawa, my sister! ---and she is 'Cure Tide', too." Aki gives a soft bow. "It's good to meet you Katsu-san." she head tilts. "Cure Victory. That's who you are, right? Haruna told me. Don't worry." she says placing a finger to her lips. She sits back down.

"That's some name... 'Victory'. Is it that important to you?" Aki asks curiously. Haruna looks back between Aki and Katsu. "Go sit down with Aki and talk, I'm finishing some food~"

Indeed! Something smells like cooking meat.

Corvus gives a wave over to Victory. "Hi, Katsu-chan~" the seagull says. "How are you today?" he asks.

Mari Katsu has posed:
"Something wrong?" Mari asks to Haruna as she passes, noting the girl looking out into the hall as if expecting someone else.. Though she takes a small bow and smiles at Aki as she enters the room. "Oh wow, it's almost like looking at a mirror.. You and Haruna are so much alike." She comments, before she quietly takes a seat and pauses, listening to Haruna as she introduces Aki, taking a small moment to collect her thoughts. Right up until Aki asks her about her name as a Pretty Cure and reveals Haruna spilled the secret to her. That's a bit concerning, but at the same time not surprising.

"Is victory important to me..?" Mari asks, closing her eyes in thought... She'd never really thought about it. When she first came to be a pretty cure, the name just ... kind of happened. She didn't really put much thought into it.

"I suppose the answer to that would be yes. Winning is the only way I can push forward to realize my dream of becoming the best tennis player to ever step on the court." Mari replies before she quietly smiles. "But... That's taken on a bit of a different meaning, lately. ...I can't afford to lose when it's not just my dream on the line. It's one reason I agreed to help Haruna-chan. Bleak odds or not, knowing just how out classed we were.. I wasn't about to leave Haruna to face things alone, not with her dream of reaching you on the line."

    Then Corvus waves, and Mari just grins in a slightly dopey fashion. "Yo! Corvus-san. How's it flappin' bro?" There's a short pause as Mari just grins, overly proud at her own pun, before she clears her throat. "Ah.. Sorry, i'm a bit hyper... Been drinking too much egg nog." She replies and shakes her hed. "Doing well so far, so I can't complain..."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna head tilts and looks at Mari and ohs! "Um..no just..um waiting. for someone...." she mutters. Aki speaks up. "She's hoping Hannah-chan can get away from work long enough to come on by!" Aki says with a teasing tone. Haruna huffs! "H-hey! Maybe! But.. she's busy! With all that's going on!" she huffs.

Haruna disappears into a side area and seems to sort of shake a pan. Meat sizzles. Smells like beef of some sort. "Almost done~" she insists.

Aki seems to mull on Mari's statement. "I see..." she says. She smiles. "That makes sense. I'm 'Tide' because the beach is important to me. It's my happy place. Well---" she motions towards Haruna. "Her happy place too. Our happy place." she smiles. "By the way...." she says. "Ocean Spray Precure" she pauses. "Does that sound like a good name for me and Haruna-chan!?" she asks.

Haruna 'heys!'. "Hey! Stop bugging everyone about that! I still don't like that one!" she mutters. Haruna flips meat onto plates and presents some sort of steak and vegetable mix, that's been seasoned with something not-quite spicy- but something to give it a kick. Corvus also gets a plate as she works on dishing out food.

Corvus peeks over to Katsu-chan and gives her a wide smirk after all that. "Did Raqueal not want to come?" he asks politely.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just... smiles a bit before she shakes her hed. "Raquel is looking after my sister tonight. I couldn't make it home and my parents didn't want to let her spend the evening away, holidays being what they are and all." She shrugs. "So I sent Raquel to look after her."

    Mari gives a slight shrug at that, followed by closing her eyes in thought. "I think it sounds lovely, though I'm not the one you should be asking. Haruna is your partner, after all. I'm not even sure I qualify as leader material over the group of friends I've come to work with.. So I doubt I qualify for giving good team naming advice." She states with a slight giggle. "I've just been preocupied lately running between one thing or another.... I haven't seen my other friends in a while, save for Suzuki-chan, and that's only because she sneaks away from her family to come stay with me." She shrugs.

    Then the food is handed out, and Mari just.. tilts her head slightly before she smiles. "Oh wow.. Haruna-chan, you didn't have to go to all this trouble. I usually survive on stuff like box ramen unless coach or some of the team drop by with actual food.. ...I'm actually a kitchen disaster."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams! "So am I!" she says. "But.. I wanted to learn to do stuff for Hannah-chan and she likes american food so I've been reading up how to cook all that!" she says. Aki sighs and rolls her eyes and begins eating, as she thinks a bit. "I dunno if I'm the leader, but we're a two girl team! So---" she thinks....

Haruna ughhhhsss. "No more team name guessing, eaaaat!" she begs.

Aki stuffs her face and smiles teasingly in between bites.

"Besides..." Haruna says. "Aki's the veteran even if, like, I've done a lot, Aki's been doing it longer total, n' stuff..." she says.

"Yeah but..." says Aki. "You've been at it how long and how many times did you save the world? Twice?" she asks. Haruna sighs. "Once. I don't count the problem I caused." she says with bit lip as she eats her food. Aki smiles. "Well I just punched things! So, you have one up on me!" she says.

Haruna just sighs and leans against Mari for a second. "So...uh, Mari." she says. "How would you feel about a double date sometimes? You and Suzu-chan and me n' Hannah-chan? It could be fun! We can make a fool out of each other singing karoke~" she says. "-also I wanna see if Suzu-chan can sing~ But don't tell her I said that~" she says teasingly.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just giggles a bit. "You'll get used to it.." Mari states to Haruna before she shrughs her shoulders. "This whole 'saving the world thing' is something we all adjust to.. even if I can't claim i've done anything as major as saving the whole world."

    There's a shrug at that, before Mari quietly smiles.

"A double date?" Mari asks, considering that for a moment before she smiles. "I'd love that. I'm still new at the whole dating thing... I feel like at times i'm probably an embarassment to be around and I'm probably just making things awkward for Suzu-chan." She states, poking at her own food in a completley unlike-mari fashion. "..But she puts up with me... So I guess It's working out."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Aki crosses her arms. "Dating isn't that hard you know- and... if Haruna can figure out, I'm pretty sure like that an ameoba could." she insists. Haruna frowns and crosses her arms. "H-hey! It's not that hard..." she sputters. "You just...gotta be open and honest with your feelings---be brave! Ask the embarassing stuff!....."

"Like I still need to have Suzuki help me find the perfect kimono now!" she insists.

Aki grins and smiles to Mari. "You know, she used to be super shy and quiet like two years ago. Well. Two years ago for all you guys- I'm still dealing with the time lapse."

Haruna shoves another forkfull of food into her mouth and finishes before talking. "Oh. That's right." she says. "Aki didn't really feel any time pass and can't remember any of the time she spent in that awful mirror place." she mutters. "She woke up and from her point of view--it was like she just woke up the next day afterwards. It was confusing for her, because like..."

"Well I looked a lot different two years ago!" she says with a smile. "And acted different! and it was silly seeing Aki try to figure out who I was for the first ten minutes I was yapping at her."

Aki nods. "I didn't feel time pass, but I did feel really groggy and then this blonde girl came over and started hugging me tightly and talking my ear off and those are two things the Haruna-chan I knew would never do." she insists.

Mari Katsu has posed:
"Given what we saw of that place... I guess it's a small miracle that that's the case." She states before she takes a deep breath. "Can you imagine what it would be like, waking up from that and remembering every silent moment that passed? Or everything else that exists there. It'd probably be maddening."

    Shaking her head, Mari quietly smiles. "Though I imagine the whole lack of two years is a bit of an adjustment... If there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask, Aki-chan. I still want to help you in any way I can, not just as a pretty cure, but as a friend as well." She states then grins.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Aki hehs. "You can say that. There was a whole mess to sort out since I was kinda legally dead." she says. Haruna frowns. "You can thank White-chan for that when you get a chance! She helped out a lot with that!" she says. Aki sighs and rolls her eyes. "Fine---if I can see her again without punching her in the face." she asides. Haruna looks back at Mari and smiles.

"White-chan was a little sad that Aki didn't wanna have anything to do with her project. But that's okay. It's her choice and--I don't blame her really. But--I also kinda understand where White-chan is coming from..." she mutters.

Aki does smile pleasently at Mari though. "I thank you for that. I'm /mostly/ acclimated now. Most of the shock came from like.... Haruna having actual friends and a girlfriend even... her being a Pretty Cure... dealing with the fact everyone thought I was dead... and--- all that stuff really. It really didn't make me happy to hear all the things she went through on account of me being gone." she sighs. She smiles and pats Katsu-chan's shoulder. "Just thanks for being there for her, alright? That's all I can really say to her friends." she smiles wide.

Haruna nods matter of factly. "Katsu-chan works hard at Tennis. Oh...! Right!" she says. "I'm in the kickboxing club now!" she says with a smile. "Hannah-chan is gonna teach me to fight reallllly good!" she beams.

Aki shakes her head. "She's even in a club now. I'd been trying to get her in one for /years/." she tsks.

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just grins, before she shakes her head. "Don't mention it. Haruna-chan is a great friend. A bit of a goof ball, but that's what makes her uniuqe, and I wouldn't trade that for anything." She states before she smiles. "Still.. Whatever you need, just let me know. .. As for clubs.. I wouldn't mind having another friend or two in the tennis club. Having more people to practice with is never a bad thing!" She states before she smiles and looks to the plate again as she takes a few more bites. "...I wasn't even really that aware that there were that many magical girls outside of my usual circle. I don't think i've even met most of them propperly."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams. "I'm goofy, yes!" she insists. Aki shakes her head. "I think that's just the side effect of the friends she'd made." Aki seems to tap her chin. "I'm more of the dance club type, and---I'm in Infinity here, but---Tennis, hrmph--- maybe I can try it. I don't know much about it except some basics from physical education..." she mutters.

Haruna beams. "That's a good idea! I dun't think I'd like tennis myself..." she mutters.

"Oh....!" she says. "Right..." Haruna says as she places her empty plate down and tip toes towards the cupboard and picks up hairclip. It's been adorned with a set of three purple feathers that have been fanned out, with some white trim. There's a small tennis pendant at one end and a tennis ball at the far end. She presents it! "I've been making these... so... I made this for you!" she beams. "Special! There's nothing else like it! Not like the ones I'm selling in Natt's and Yuko's store..." she smiles!

Mari Katsu has posed:
    Mari just blinks at the two before she giggles. "I wonder if my sister and I will be as close as you two." She giggles. "We get along really well but you two very clearly love each other." She states before she pauses and looks to Haruna as she jumps up.

"Eh?" She pauses, watching Haruna as she retrieves the hairclip, her eyes widdening a bit before she smiles and stands up clasping Haruna's hand holding the hair clip gently - not to damage the hair clip as she shakes her head. "You are giving me a gift that you made yourself special, for me?"

    Taking the hairclip, Mari examines it for a moment before she smiles and fixes her hair over her right ear with the hair clip then moves over to hug Haruna tightly. "Thank you, Haruna-chan... Come by my place tomorrow. I'll have something special for you and your sister!" She states before she almost jumps to the door and waves before she heads out quickly, returning a few moments later. "Remember, tomorrow!" She states before she vanishes from the doorframe again.
