Hammy Villains and Cheesy Heroes

Location:	Uminari City - Central Harbor
Synopsis:	Both Shinobu and Hinote seem to have a very good taste in practice spots.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Oh what a night. Sure there was the fact that she couldn't get over how cute the guy was that she was hanging out with, but then the whole change in perspective has got her thinking more clearly than she has for days. This of course doesn't mean she isn't going to visit her favorite spot or do some practice. So She's made an exit from her dorm. Today she's got a back pack with her which contains water and a snack. She hopped on a bus and got taken to the Central harbor. Down the pier she went with her cane in one hand and a bo in the other.

After being at this place a few times, she's got a solid feel for the imediate area. She sets her cane and her back pack down and uses her staff to find her way around. Once she's in a good postion, she begins going through the motions of a lovely kata.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari lives in Uminari. Well. He did. Now he's living with the other Guardian Knights in Mitakihara. But his parents still live here and he's still living there until sometimes soon when he moves out. His parents don't know about that one yet. He should probably talk to his mom about it at least.

Hinote has with him, a bokken! It's your standard wooden practice sword and he's holding under his arm- that'd be silly, walking along with it on your belt. Wouldn't it!? Well not like the person he's coming up upon can see it. Why he's coming all the way out to the pier?

Probably for the same reason Shinobu is. No one likes going to the VERY edge of the pier. You get deeper out in the water. Some people get frightened. It doesn't bother Hinote much.- there's a plenty strong railing that isn't easy to fall over unless you REALLY tried to do so.

He huh'ed and stood back a bit, as not to get in the blind girl's way.

"Hello, again, Shinobu-san. I guess when you can't see the deep ocean around you isn't so frightening, eh?" he asks.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu makes several strikes with the staff in rapid succession. Then its planted for a high kick. With fluid like motion she retreats herself, using the bo to block some unseen attacks. "I guess you could say that. I just find this area very peaceful. It's helped me a lot this past week. If I fall in, it serves me right and I'll follow the pier to the shore."

A warm smile forms on her face. Its not hard to figure out who is there. She recognizes the voice! "How are you today Hinote-san? With school out I can't exactly get in touch with the Kobudo club so practicing here is my best option I think."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari hehs. "I'm good, mostly." he says with a soft tone. "I tend to come all the way out here for practice myself." he says. "Kendo Club, and all that." he says. "Don't worry, I'm far enough away so I won't bump into you, or you won't clock me in the side of the head." he smirks.

"Lord knows I've had enough of that, Seishou's Kendo Captain is a slave driver who likes knocking me out cold to show off." he laughs.

He frowns. "That water's gotta be ice cold right now thou. Even in the summer it's chilly. I'd hate to take an ice water bath right now." he laughs a bit.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "I know. I can tell right where you are." She smiles a slides the bo down to toward one of the ends and does a wide 360 sweep with is, which is followed by a spinning roundhouse kick. She drops to the ground only to flip back up to her feet into a good stance.

"I've been doing this since I was 8. My mom insisted. I use the bo more then the other weapons because I don't need a permit or anything to carry it. Some of the other weapons I've trained with, I do. Most of them can cause a lot of damage. Not saying this can't but I am less likely to cut someone open with a bo then Say with a pair of sais or kamas." She smiles and continues her motions.

"Also I won't fall in. I don't think anyway. I Got this area memorized so I can maneuver a bit better without my cane."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari says. "Also, there's nothing illegal about a big stick." he insists with a playful tone and a smirk, though she can't see the coy smirk of course. He still does. He nods. "Yeah, you mentioned that before. About not being a victim again." he says. "Can't say you told me more than that, but I figure it isn't my bussiness." he says.

"I took up Kendo because I wanted to be a better swordsman for the people and world I sworn to protect- though I find it's benefits neglible so far. Swordfighting comes naturally to me when I'm the Knight-- and besides. It's not even the right sword. Europeon styled longsword." he chuckles.

"Then the whole fire magic thing I can't add to it in practice." he says.

"All practicing does is keep my on my toes, I suppose." he relents.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smirks, "Since we are being open, Physically I am blind. Not so magically. According to Kyubey, its because of the potential I have inside. I see life energy and magic. Its why I like being here. The water conducts energy... Magic falls into that catagory. So The water is the closest I get to actually being able to see." She smiles "Though the water I see is all shimmering violet with the occaisonal life moving through it.

She plants her staff and jumps upwards holding herself steady as she does a quick bicycle style kick. She lands it and then brings the bo down to the wood with a loud crack.

"I wouldn't know about madically being good at anything. What I do know is I've got several years of experience now under my belt. It was enough I've had to change Senseis twice and now, I don't have one. I had to learn to pay attention to my other senses to actually get better though."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari nods a bit. "Heh. I didn't even know how to fight before the whole... magical knight thing." he admits. "Well. I knew how to mock fight. It's important for stage productions. Though costume weapons are WAY heavier than the real thing. I wonder why that is..." he mutters a bit.

He shrugs and nods. "---I dunno. Magical fighting is kind of like. Instinct. You just...know...." he says.

"I dunno if it's done anything otherwise. I know the bird who followed me outta the portal says I feel 'warmer' than some others. I dunno." he shrugs. "I don't feel very different or warm." he chuckles.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura thinks a few moments, "That is really interesting. For me its just fighting. I've not fought anyone or anything magical which is probably for the best. You'd have a significant advantage. The closest I've been to an actual fight was earlier this week when. I didn't know it but apparently Sailor V was up in arms during a big meeting. She attacked someone but... The place was so saturated with magic and life that I couldn't see anything."

She gives a little smile. "Practice weapons are like that too though. Usually heavier. I think its so you get a feel for the real thing. Like how a baseball player weights a bat and then removes it when its time to actually use it. Silly huh?"

Idly she cracks her neck and begins windmilling the staff on oneside then the other then across her back.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari ughs. "Runealy told me about that. The details at least. That someone got trigger happy. Sailor V? Really? You figure she'd be the last person to start that!" he says as he crosses his arms. He sighs and crosses his arms. "I knew I should had gone with her..." he mutters. "But I figured she'd be safe there with everyone there." he says.

"Would had been ironic, you know? Spend months making sure she's safe while carring out the task she set us on, make sure that she's alive to save her world. Save her world. Then she dies because Sailor V hit her square between the eyes with some sort of /love/beam on /accident/."

"I mean. That'd had been /horrible/. Don't get me wrong. Me and my friends would be upset as hell. Heck I am kinda upset at the prospect alone-- but. No harm, no reason for me to go seeking answers from her."

"How long were you at the meeting for?" he wonders.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
"All of the main meeting. I head the ins and outs of it. That this city is in deep come the end of the month. At least according to Homura-chan and Mami-sama. Things are going to get ugly. Apparently the Puella Magi are feeling the affects of this big witch on the way."

Shinobu gives a soft smile to him. "But everything will workout. I just know it. There are plenty of people who are going to fight. I am just sad that they had to get into that in the middle of the meeting ya know?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari shakes his head. "I don't know what it was about, sadly." he says. "The argument I mean." he says as he hehs.

He nods a bit. "This sounds like a big deal to Puella Magi- but it's also a situation we all need to deal with. People are at risk. I understand that evacuating the civillians will be easy enough at least." he mutters.

"Dad isn't going to be home until the end of next month, so no worrying about him. Worried for Mom though. She's a police officer. She's going to be involved in... that mess." he mutters.

"I wonder if there's some way to get her outta town before it hits..." he thinks, tapping his bottom lip.

"...maybe I can talk to dad..."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura gets an idea. She gives a smile. Carefully she uses her bo as a staff to get back to the bench where her backpack is. "I'm going to be getting on the radio as soon as I can to prepare people for evacuation. I will tell them whatever they need to hear to get them cleared out but early warning is best.

She fumbles through her pack for a moment or so until she finds her query. She pulls out her voice recorder. "If you make a statement, I can get it on Infinity U's radio station. Your words will carry more weight then mine."

She smirks, "Well, I can't say that a big nasty witch is coming to town because people would think I'm crazy!" She hmms. "I was told that people would experience this as some sort of natural disaster. Maybe I can do this vague like?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari blinks. He totally freezes up a moment. Huh. Oh. OH! Well. He knows that... people supposedly see this as a 'storm' at least... non-magical people. If he remembers what Runealy relayed.

Oh. uh. Right. Recording. Hinote summons up his best suave announcers voice.

"'Hello everyone, there is a large supercell storm coming this way, and it's probably best you begin to evacuate in an orderly fashion- no doubt the authorities will be with you soon enough- remember, please do not panic, and keep a clear head.'"

He pauses.

"How was that." He asks.

He ughs.

"Terrible. It'll do." he says as he taps his chin.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura covers her mouth and starts laughing. "It was good. Really. One small problem. I didn't even have the recorder on!" She laughs out this time not bothering to hold it back. "Its okay here, let me get this going." She takes a seat and turns on the recorder.

"My friends, I bring you loathesome news today. A threat is coming to this fair city. A very dangerous disaster of great proportions. Now I do not expect you to believe me. I am but a voice on the airwaves. What would I know about such a fierce calamity? As such I, Hakumei, your humble civil servant have sought out a well known friend of this community, One whose family has supported this city and continues to do so. My friends, I give you Mr. Hinote Kagari." She smiles a little. Her voice was intense, dramatic and sounding much like someone who is intending to stir up emotions of fear and dread. Pretty good for someone who is looking to do a radio show.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari totally anime-sweatdrops. Sadly, Hinote is not what one would call an improvosational actor. He does good when he has a script. Can he fudge it and make stuff up? Sure. But a whole bit is kind of hard to come up with on the spot. Once again, he puts on his best voice. It's descisve. It's probably the hero voice he'd been practicing for the day he actually plays the role of a hero /on the stage/.

"Well. That is correct. You should seek out shelter, and follow the advice of the civil servicemen and women that will no doubt be coming to your aid. Please stay turned to an emergency broadcast channel for instructions- and please remember, do not panic, and everything will be okay, hopefully, soon enough." says Hinote confidently.

He sort of rubs the bridge of his nose.

"I suck at improvistation." he insists.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
The recorder is still rolling. "That Was Mr. Hinote Kagari. Pay attention to the news and when they say to go, do so. Take only what you need, don't worry about luxuries as they with hope they will be there when you return. This is your host, Hakoume with this special bulletin."

CLICK* The recorder is switched off and put into her bag. "I'll edit it later. That was good. You did fine." She smiles and gets out a bottle of water to drink from. She pulls out a second one and offers it to Hinote.

"Sorry I didn't mean to put you on the spot. You were here and I figured it would be good to get that recorded. That way don't have to go to the office to record." She laughs.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari hehs. "I'm better when I have direction and a script. I mean. Eventually I'll pick up the improvastional aspects. My dad's good at it. I'm still amatuer hour in the drama club, technically- though- I am very good for my age." he insists.

He sort of brushes his hair off a bit as he blows his bangs a bit and accepts the water bottle, unscrewing the top and taking a rather large gulp. Talking in a weird voice takes it's toll on the vocal box, afterall. Hydration is key!

"So. You given more thought... to the thing?" he asks politely.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura snickers. "That it is. I have actually. Still no idea what I'd wish for but I do think I am going to do it. Who wants to live forever anyway." She gives a weak laugh over that.

"I actually slept well last night considering. That is something I've not been able to do all week.I woke up refreshed and ready to take on the world!" She smirks.

Shinobu just smiles, "I've wanted to be in radio since I was a little girl. Even before I lost my vision, I would always be listening to the radio. The stories and the songs... The DJs laughing and everything."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari nods. "I'm afraid radio was never my strong suite." he says. "But I do my best." he says.

He sort of brushes his right arm off a little as he hrms. "Just trying to find my own way with my acting." he says. "We're launching the interschool play here in the third term." he says. "You should come... I mean. You can listen to it, at least." he laughs.

"...and I play a hammy villian." he smirks.

He taps his chin. "Maybe you'd like to meet up someplace on purpose next time?" he asks.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "It takes all kinds to make the world go round. Public speaking just works for me. Dunno why it just always has." She smiles brightly and takes a long sip of her drink.

"I think thats what everyone is doing. Just trying to make their own way. I'd love to be a voice actor. I dunno How well I could do as a regular one. I mean I've not seen anything except life energy and magic in the past five years. TV's don't exactly pick those things up without getting scrampled so oh well for that."

She starts laughing to herself, "A hammy villain? Well I guess if I play a cheesy hero we can throw sandwiches at the crowd!" She giggles playfully. Oh and I would love that! Did you have a place in mind?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari hehs. "Well. Midori-ya is the usual place I like to go- Cafe and all. Game Center Crown has good milkshakes." he says. "Though Game Center's charm lies in it's sights, too--and well. That'd be kind of mean. So Midori-ya, I think." he says placing his hands into his pockets, bokken still under his arm.

"I'll call you in the next couple of days then, see how it is for both of us. For now, I think I'm going to have to head home now." he says.

"Is there anything else you wanted to mention before I head off?" he asks curiously.

Shinobu Kimura blinks out of instinct under her glasses. Does it do anything at all, no. Except for maybe show surprise. She beams happily. "Its a date!" She exclaims. "Oh Midori-ya is nice! I got eclairs there. They are soooo yummy and the chocolate is really rich! That will be fun!

"I look forward to your call." She smiles sheepishly. "Okay well. be safe! I'm going to finish up my practice and then I will catch the bus back."
