Girls' Night Out | |
---|---|
Date of Scene: | 25 April 2016 |
Location: | Mitakihara - Downtown Neon District |
Synopsis: | Norie and Utau decide to enjoy a girls' night out, hitting a nightclub where they get picked up by some shady young men, and they decide to teach them a lesson for trying to take advantage of them. |
Cast of Characters: | Utau Hoshina, Norie Okana |
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau has been feeling pretty anxious lately. And with her recent nightmares, she's been feeling especially depressed and upset lately. Unfortunately, she doesn't exactly have any friends, spending most of her time isolated in Easter's skyscraper, and now that she's been avoiding Kukai altogether, she's been feeling especially lonely.
This particularly chilly evening finds her wandering around the Neon district, around the same place and time that she had been wandering around it the other day when she had run into Norie. Tonight, she feels herself drawn towards the particularly bright lights of the flashier nightclubs, and starts to wander towards them.
As always, she is dressed up and today is no exception; Dressed in a slightly gothic black frilly lolita dress with hot pink ribbons and accents, she looks ready for a girls' night out. Now, if she could only find some other non-goody-goody girls to join her.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana is out and about aswell, like the other night. She needs one mark. One person to drain. She's doing her best. So far. No one's bit. She'll give it another hour, then she'll just... go and do the old usual--- find someone out of the way and just drain- rather than try to lure someone more deserving in.
She had her purple hair and purple eyes and slightly pale skin out--- but she was wearing a slightly darker purple dress-- not her 'Lacrima' costume, but a normal purple dress- that had a bell skirt and looked elaborate to a degree-- Utau might remember it as one of the dresses she was looking at last time they met.
She passes by Utau at first--- then blinks and double backs and catches up with her-- if she'd noticed her back or not, she doesn't know, but she calls out..
"Utau-chan?" she asks softly. "Is that you?" she asks to the other girl. It's hard to read if she's pleased or not to see someone-- but the fact she isn't outright upset is a good indication that there's no ill will there.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau sighs tiredly. It had been a long day at work, and although Miss White was testing out a new invention that could supposedly steal heart's eggs, it seemed that Utau and Ikuto's unique abilities were far more efficient and therefore they were still needed. With all the slack lately, she'd been made to work extra hard.
She almost misses Norie, but when she calls out, Utau smiles faintly. Finally, someone who understands her and doesn't judge her for having to make difficult decisions!
"Norie-chan..How have you been?" she gasps at her beautiful dress, admiringly, "That dress looks gorgeous on you! Were you headed to the nightclub as well? I'm so tired and frustrated with life, I thought I'd try and have some fun for once..What do you think? Want to join me?"
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana thinks a moment. She's quiet. nightclub? She isn't starving for energy. She's never been to a nightclub. 'Norie' was a 'good girl' who went to dance practice, got good grades and generally respected people. She wants to dance--- but becoming a horrible dark energy creature hasn't been particularly good for her grades near the end of last year and she'd started burning bridges by pushing people away from her too hard.
One could argue that Norie isn't even Norie anymore, even though she still desperatly wants to be only that. But still. "A nightclub? I've never been to one, actually. I was out uh...."
"Doing the... 'food' thing." she says while in public. "But.. um that might be fun. and I might find someone there, too, so!" she says. "I can go!" she says. There's a look of antcipation on her face, as close as she's going to get to 'excitedness' right now. But she still wonders.
"I don't know of any though. Do you?" she asks. "Will they even let us in?" she asks meekly. Is there an age limit? She doesn't know! She always just assumed! Heck. She wouldn't normally be caught dead down here. Well. She is being caught 'dead' down here but that's a different thing all together!
"But let's go, yes!" she says.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau smiles sweetly and nods. She's a bit of a bad girl herself, as if it wasn't obvious, but she's good at the charm thing too. Furthermore, Utau was secretly hoping she could find some cute boys to dance with that could distract her from certain other annoying brats.
"I'm glad. C'mon, it'll be fun! We might even meet some...Promising people?" she smiles and winks as she says that, and it's hard to tell if she means potential boyfriends or potential meals.
"I guess, I have some 'work' to do myself, as I've been slacking off lately, and they wont let me see my brother until I do." She pulls out a flyer, showing it to Norie, "Here, the 'Pink Flamingo' looks good. They're a little more toned down and not so fussy about age.. Although alcohol is likely to be served, but of course, here, they're not as strict."
She had noticed the slight hesitancy in Norie's reaction, and as she reaches for her hand, Utau does her best to reassure her. "Don't worry, it'll be fine! We'll just dance, listen to some music, maybe have a drink or two..You're pretty graceful, I'm sure you're even better on a dance floor!"
And if Norie will let her, Utau will lead her to the famed 'Pink Flamingo', a colorful little club with a bright pink bird on the front and disco lights flashing from within. The people coming in and out seem pretty upscale, respectable folk, unlike many other dingier, more questionable clubs along this street.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana blinks. "Graceful...?" she asks. Well, she /was/ in dance club, but no one's ever called her graceful before. She'd probably blush- if she were capable. She still follows along, being led along-- whoooop! There she goes! She blinks rapidly, and off to the club they go. At least she's dressed well enough, speaking of.
"Do you really like my dress that much?" she asks suddenly, another blink.
The words Utau say hit home with some things she'd been thinking about since Natsumi's reading. Mainly. She'd never /been/ in love or been flirted at... and while she has a basis for how other things feel- she doesn't know how those feel and this causes her to be a little hesitant. She still follows along however, in the end.
Does Alcholol even effect her? She doesn't want to find out. Besides. Surely they won't serve her anys, right? That'd be scandolous!
Norie may be too sheltered, even as a vampire. Maybe this will do her some good. At least she isn't preaching to Utau. That seems rude, doesn't it?
She's carried into the club with a blink! She's glad she's not looking like regular ol' Norie right now. She doesn't want people to ask 'Norie' why she was here.
"Let's try to have fun then!"
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau nods. "Of course! I love Victorian Goth style..I think it says more than words can say alone..A little bit of nice, a little bit of naughtly, all rolled into a nice little package. It's not a style that many can carry. But we look pretty hot tonight."
And with that, she struts confidently, gracefully into the nightclub without missing a beat. Utau pauses only briefly near the top of the steps to peer around, noticing that there are plenty of kids from school here, and while she's mostly home-schooled she does recognize one or two faces from some of her on-campus classes.
Normally, stepping in like this would cause many people to stop and stare at the famous pop star. But in the flashing lights, the crowds and the up-beat dance music playing, it's easy for even a popstar to get lost in here.
"Let's see..How about a drink first?" and she heads for the bar, waiting for NOrie to join her.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana does notice that Utau isn't 'hiding' today like last time and she doesn't wanna end up in some paparzai tabloid. Luckily, flashing lights and the dimness of a club means it's pretty terrible conditions for that and she can claim plasuible deniability if someone wants to try thier luck anyways.
Hot? Well. She never thought about that, she's just glad she looks good. She comes across the floor and around with Utau as she looks toward's the bar. "The bar?... sure." she says.
She pauses. "What are we ordering?" she asks. "Um. Maybe you should order. I'll just order something boring." she says softly. "Like a coke." she says as she follows along.
People are dancing. She bites her lip. This isn't her usual dancing style. But she's familar with it. Dancing was her favorite thing after all.
There's just no real audience here except those who choose to look.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau smirks, "Really? That's it? How about something a little fun? Tequila Sunrise? For two? Or maybe add some Vodka to your coke. I do like a Gin and tonic.." she states with an impish glint in her amethyst eyes. Apparently she's not new to this, and who can blame her?
Afterall, superstars like her are used to the spotlight, as well as the flashy parties and dances afterwards. Of course, Utau's never really been to a club with a friend as she never really had any close friends to begin with, even if she had hundreds of fans who adored her from afar?
"Alright, I'll order one Coke and Vodka for you, and a Tequila Sunrise for myself, how about that?" And the next time the barista comes their way, that's exactly what she ends up ordering. "Hmm..." Peering around the night club, Utau cant help but tap her foot to the beat, getting into the rhythm of the music. "So, never been to a night club before? This is your first time? Have you danced before?"
Actually, she's not usually this chipper. Maybe it's the mood. Maybe it's the fact that she's with a friend. And not a false one, but one who can truly understand her and not judge her, unlike plenty before her. Or maybe it's because for once, Utau's actually having a little bit of fun tonight.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana Most certainly isn't judging Utau, but she can't feel the more positive end of the spectrum of emotion easily. antcipation substitutes in for hope... mild bemusement is her happiness- and that's the expression she wears. Bemused! It's probably 'happy enough'
Hers Coke and Vodka... Vodka!?
Is that really okay? Still, she gets just that. A Vodka and Coke. Utau probably is used to stress and alcholol supposedly helps with that? Still she tips the simple cocktail to her lips and--- snort- a quick snort. She wasn't prepared for that. "Weird..."
"Nope... never been to a night club." she says softly a little speehishly.
"I used to think this was a ... bad thing to do?" she asks. "But that doesn't seem to matter anymore to me. Considering what else I do." she says softly.
"So isn't going to a nightclub kind of demure to that? So Might aswell!" she says as she takes another sip.
She just makes a face this time.
"I..don't even know if alcholol will effect me." she admits. "Considering what I am..." she says.
"I guess we'll find out tonight." she says with that midly bemused look again!
"Enjoying yourself it seems at least. So that's good!" she says.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau takes a sip of her drink and smiles at Norie through the glass. "Nothing wrong with having a little fun at a nightclub. Just have to be careful which nightclub you choose, and the type of people you find there, oh, and how you behave while you're there. No one likes a hopeless drunkard, but a bit of alcohol can relax you, and make you enjoy the night a bit better."
She shrugs, and for a moment, she seems a lot older than her fourteen years of age. Being kidnapped, losing both parents at an early age - even if at least one is still alive - and having to practice hard to stay in the spotlight, not to mention hunting for X-eggs, will do that to a young mind.
She smiles a bit when Norie mentions what else she does, and Utau can only nod knowingly, "Try not to worry too much. Let's just have some fun! How's the drink, by the way? I asked them to put a bit more coke and a bit less Vodka than usual.."
As she speaks, a small group of young men seem to be checking the two girls out, nodding appraisingly. Utau seems to be quite aware of this and flashes them a charming smile, winking at Norie.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana nods a bit. Not to worry. Okay. She can do that. She thinks.
Worrying is an easy thing for her to do. She doesn't know much of Utau's past- except her brother is being held by Easter and that's why she has to do bad things.
She nods. "It's okay. It tastes odd. Does Vodka really taste like that?" she asks softly. Another sip. So far it isn't affecting her.
She gets a wink. She looks to where Utau is looking. Young men checking them out. She blinks once. and looks back at Utau. Then she leans over and whispers. "Why are they looking at us?" she asks softly.
Norie seems clueless. She leans back.
She gives a wave! This might be a bad idea or seen as an invitation over. Hopefully she isn't ruining all the things.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau's actually used to guys checking her out. Hey, there's a reason why she used to be a model afterall. "Oh, they're checking us out. They think we're pretty cute, and they're about to score big..." she smirks, glancing sidelong at them and nods back.
"They're going to head over in a few minutes, and try to chat us up, then they'll probably ask if we want to dance. Keep it cool.." Clearly, she's no stranger to this kind of experience, although in the past, Utau's always turned people down, being a pretty fussy sort. Among other things.
And not long after the words are out of her mouth, do the four young men head towards the two girls, grinning and winking.
"Hey there, cuties! Mind if we buy you a drink? You guys are pretty sexy! I'm surprised you dont have boyfriends with you! What are your names?" They're looking directly at Norie and Utau as they speak, pulling up barstools to sit next to them - more like crowding them, but they clearly look interested.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana hrms. "Oh..."
Then a look of shock, one of the few genuine expressions she's made tonight. "Oh!". Uh oh. What---what does she do!? Utau is saying to play it cool. She tries to cool off and come down off that high. Oh dear.
How does she act? She's so confused now! Um.. okay. Boys come and sit down and ask to buy her a drink. She's almost finished her rum and vodka. She bites her lip that probably doesn't help her look any uglier. (Why do some boys like that anyways!?)
She decides to answer. "I think I'd like that." she says tapping her chin. "OH, well I'm here with my friend. I guess we're having a girl's night out." she says motioning over to Utau thoughtfully.
She places her empty glass down on the bartop.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau arches a brow at the teens, hiding a smile behind her drink. She takes her time, playing it cool - rather than jumping immediately when they offer to buy her a drink. "I suppose you can if you want." She shrugs, "It's usually polite to offer your name first, however.."
Utau very carefully, slowly, takes another swig of her drink, and the young men peer back at her then at each other blankly.
"Oh! Err..My name is Ryo, this is Kazano, Umaro and Daicho." He nods to each of them in turn, before turning back towards the pair of them.
"Oh how nice! Enjoying a weekend night..And you two look so young and innocent. How old are you? You look all dolled up and no place to go. Do you have boyfriends..?"
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana watches Utau play cool. She can't help but play cool because she's natural 'cold' as her default. She kind of has to force herself to be anything else. Luckily, she isn't so bad as to come off as a complete ice queen though.
Do boys really find girls with her complextion and odd purple hair and eyes intresting? Maybe the lights are just making her look better and not as pale.
Norie never paid attention to vampire novels or people's intrests in them.
She gives a bemused smile, it may be forced. "No, I do not." she says. She lies about her age. "I'm fourteen." she says. She is two years younger than that, but it's less scandolous, she figures, if people think she's older while she's /drinking/.
Why does she even care!?
Maybe some image issues still matter. Maybe.
"My name is...." freeze. What name should she give. Norie!? nrg... "Lacrima." she says. "It's a spanish name. Isn't it intresting?" she asks. Yes. Let's g with that.
She looks over to Utau and gives that bemused half smile again.
She's handling herself better than she thought, maybe she's also looking at Utau to see how she's acting. So cool and collected it seems.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau follows suit after a moment's thought and nods. "Akita Uzuki." she lies, and why not? Afterall, if they knew who she really was, they'd probably try and hold her for ransom, or something equally dubious. Clearly, that's happened before, or something similar, which is why she so easily lies through her teeth.
The young men nod appraisingly, two of them walking around the girls to get better looks from a different angle. "Mmm, nice.." they murmur, licking their lips. Which is almost kinda creepy. The other two young men, pull their chairs uncomfortably close to the two girls, taking their hands and kissing them.
Utau mostly ignores them as they appraise her, taking another sip of her drink. "Enjoying the view, hmm?"
They just chuckle, "Nice to meet the both of you, and what beautiful names you have.." They attempt to peer intently into the girls' eyes, and it may feel a little creepy, because they couldn't be younger than 16 or 17 or maybe even 18 years of age. But for some, it might be kinda exciting that these older, cool boys are interested in these younger girls!
"So then! How about a dance? You two girls look like you're all alone, and itching for a dance partner!"
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana hrmms.. Utau is used to this. Norie is not. She looks back at the two men and one takes her hand and kisses it!? Oh my. Her hand is un-naturally cold to the touch and to his lips probably, but there could be countless reasons for this. Hands just get cold sometimes, afterall. Perhaps she just had bad blood flow, with that pale look she has.
Her eyes are stared into. She merely blinks back. She remembers scenes from some movies. But that's the closest she's getting to anything like a feeling.
How would she react? If she was Norie. She has to imagine. Would Norie feel creeped out by these older boys? Would she be blushing frantically? Would she enjoy it? Hate it? Feel small? Feel big? She doesn't know.
These were things she was worried about during Natsumi's readings.
Maybe it was time to try to find out how she might feel. Besides.
It's not like she just can't drain the boy if things get out of hands. She has power. They do not.
"What do you say Utau. One dance?" she asks, bemused smile. She waits for Utau to decide here, it seems. "Couldn't hurt...." she says. "Could it?"
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau just smiles sweetly, "Well, how nice..You boys must be in highschool at least. But I suppose there werent any nice girls your age to pick on, hmm?" she doesnt seem flustered at all when her guy kisses her hand, but continues to remain calm, in control.
She's not particularly interested in any of these boys although they are all very attractive, but it's a distraction at least, from a certain someone who's repeatedly annoying and hurting her feelings all the time, and she's here to have some fun afterall!
Utau arches a brow when they suggest they might be desperate and sighs, "Please. We are hardly desperate, although we WERE hoping for just a girl's night out.." again, she takes her time sipping her drink, although it seems Utau is almost finished. The bartender has already ordered another drink however for the two of them and she smirks.
"Guess you want us pretty drunk before we dance, hmm?" she sighs, slowly rising to her feet, "Well then. I suppose we can humour you for a bit, and save the drinks for later.." The boys grin eagerly, seemingly quite impressed by her stoicism. But they find Norie's innocence absolutely adorable too.
There's only two of them and four boys, and after a bit of light arguing, two of the four take the girls' hands and lead them to the dance floor. "Then, let's have some fun!" the current song is a fast, upbeat tune, suitable for quick jazzy steps. Utau is moving steps to a Salsa dance, and she smiles reassuringly towards Norie as both of their dance partners follow suit.
No, they're not in danger yet. There's nothing to worry about. Let's just have fun! her smile seems to say.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Innocent. Words that do not describe Lacrima for 100, Alex.
She rises to her feet, following Utau and smiles a bit, holding out her hand, like she might imagine a princess or a well to do oujo might. She's neither, but she's willing to be led to the dance floor along with Utau. She sticks near Utau. She feels comfortable around Utau right now.
This actually works, however, to forget her troubles, it seems, because soon she's stepping in line dancing. Her dancing is more swaying to the beat. Graceful motions, practiced. She looses herself a moment-- it's the /first time/ she's danced in eight months and the more she dances the more she feels that piping feeling inside her. Almost-- almost as if she could sense some form of happiness deep inside.
It's really just a powerful memory, but it's enough to give her a bemused smile and closed eyes a moment.
SHe doesn't keep them closed long though. She doesn't wanna bump into anyone afterall.
She does pay attention to Utau. She figures Utau will let her know when it's time to break it off.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau smiles back at Norie, glad that she's enjoying herself. She was pretty nervous the first time they met. For her part, Utau seems to be enjoying herself as well, and her movements are also very graceful, deliberate and practiced. Clearly she knows her moves and she fits right into the dance scene.
The two young men grin as they dance with the girls in a circle, although occassionally finding an excuse to bump into them or brush against them in a 'romantic' sort of way. But this is a pretty fast, upbeat dance and there isnt much time for that mushy kind of stuff.
"Hey! You girls are pretty good! Guess you're a lot more practiced at dance clubs than you look!" they grin at each other, seeming to share some secret joke between them.
Finally the music changes to something a bit slower, more romantic. The young men grin even wider, stepping closer to their dance partners, grasping one hand and resting the other hand on their hip. It's a slow, romantic rhumba style beat that plays next, being sung by some whiny boy band but the tune is a good one.
The two young men twirl and sweep the girls around the dance floor expertly, clearly experienced dancers and every bit as practiced and graceful as their partners. Still it may be intimidating just how much older they are.
"So, how long have you two been dancing? You seem like naturals! You should come to this club more often, we're always here! But we've never met such special girls like you two before! I hope we're all enjoying ourselves, hmm?"
- Norie Okana has posed:
This is actually a more regular form of dancing that Norie is used to. Slow dancing. She gently touches hands with her dance partner, and doesn't seem to mind the touch. It's not inappropiate for the dance being hand. She knows what to do if boys get too handsy. Something a dance instructor taught her-- but she doesn't need to do that yet.
Intimidated? Not really. She isn't used to dancing with someone older however, but this isn't throwing her off much at all. She glances over to Utau, who seems to continue to enjoy herself.
She softly looks back up to the boy. "Since I was a very little girl." she says with a soft half-smile. Her smile never is pronounced. She says. "Thank you for the compliments. I'm very practiced." she insists.
Yes, she is mostly enjoying herself!
She figures she'll continue to enjoy herself as long as Utau is.
So far the Vodka hasn't affected her. It probably won't. Heck she doesn't even get anything from normal food anymore really, it isn't surprising her that the alcholol isn't really affecting her.
Of course. She didn't drink a whole lot either. So maybe it's too soon, she thinks in the back of her head, to assume that.
Ugh she hopes she doesn't make a drunk fool of herself later. Hopefully Utau will tell her when she's had enough-- if drinks are had later.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Fortunately, the boys dont get too handsy although they are intently watching their partners. And when the song reaches its climax, they almost seem to try to lean in for a kiss...But then suddenly the song has ended and they both look a bit disappointed.
Utau for her part, breaks away from her partner and heads back to the barstool. "I'm a little thirsty from all that dancing. Think I'll finish my drink now." she pauses only briefly, waiting to see if Norie will join her, and then heads to the barstool and slowly sips away at her drink again. The two young men follow, their other two friends already sitting at the bar and chatting lively with each other, looking quite drunk.
"So, how was it? Did you enjoy the dance? You couples looked amazing on the dance floor!" Utau smirks a bit at that comment as she sips her drink and just shrugs, "It wasn't bad. I've seen better though." this of course causes the two dancers to glance at each other almost jealously. Who could possibly be better than them?
And they sidle ever closer to the girls, almost uncomfortably so. "Hmmm, would you girls like to move someplace a bit...Quieter? We're sharing a college dorm, it's nice and warm..And a lot quieter than this place.." They exchange glances and smiles.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana eyes light up. Ah! So this is where it was going this whole time. When Norie told Sora that she was draining 'not quite innocent' people, this was the kind of person she was talking about. Ones who would so easily follow a too young girl into an alley deserved to be drained of every little bit of energy she took from them, afterall! Right?
She purses her lips and looks to Utau. She gives her an odd look, it's not one of confusion o questioning, but it's odd-- as if to say something unspoken.
"Well I've been dancing for a long term. You were good too." she says.
"What do you think?" she asks to Utau softly.
"I could do with a... bite to eat... before we go too far though." she says with almost a soft, practiced pout.
Yeah, there's definitly an unspoken undertone there of 'I think I found who I want to drain'.
Hopefully, Utau's caught on.
She almost says something about and egg sandwhich, but she figures that might be TOO silly.
She once again, seems to wait on Utau.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau barely misses a beat as the lions attempt to lure the kittens into their den. But these kitten have teeth! She smiles sweetly at them, nodding slowly to Norie. Yes, she's certain the other girl knows exactly what she's up to. Indeed, these are the kinds of people who deserve exactly what they have coming to them, and it's almost too easy.
Afterall, these two girls at least appear to be merely harmless teenagers and nothing more. Perfect. "Hmmm, not bad, not bad. I couldn't say they were the best though, but perhaps we could go a few more rounds..At your place of course.."
She does indeed catch Norie's hint about a 'bite to eat' and she smiles and winks subtly at her. "Hmm, i'm feeling a bit hungry myself, but it's so loud here. How about we buy something on the way to the boys' place, hmm? I'd like that." And she finishes the last of her drink before rising to her feet, offering her dance partner her hand.
"How about it then, Lacrima-chan? Let's go have some 'fun' with these boys!"
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana beams and stands up with Utau and smiles and offers her hand to her own dance partner. She smiles a bit. "Yes, that sounds fun." she says, then looks towards the boy. "Doesn't it?" she asks softly. Yes, now she's playing it up a little bit.
Just a little.
Hopefully, none of the boys catch onto the two's decitful double meanings!
She allows herself to be led, for now, as she looks over to Utau.
"This should be fun... right?" she says. That coy manner still there.
Oh, such pretty girls being led by older handsome boys going off to galavant and get into mischief it looks like!
Maybe not for long, but the illusion is fun, if but a moment, to Norie. Fun is still an emotion she has- but only because it can be used to spur the more deceitful things. Case in point- right now~
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Lacrima's partner grins with a hungry look in his eye, like a predator sizing up his prey. "Oh yeah. Loads of fun. We'll keep you entertained for hours!" his grin widens when he sees she is falling for it, and he takes her hand, leading her out of the nightclub. Utau's partner does the same, exchanging secretive glances with his friends before follow up the stairs. The other two boys follow shortly after.
"So..How far away is your place then?" Utau ponders aloud, "Did you bring a car, or will we be taking a nice little stroll.."
It's one of the two behind them who answers, "Oh, we dont live far, only a few blocks away from here. A good 20 minutes at the most. Don't worry, we'll warm you up if things get too cold!" Another secretive grin is exchanged between the two boys in the back and they all pile out the door.
"This way. We're really glad you've decided to stay, I'd really like to get to know you better, but it's so loud in there. I'm sure you wont regret this!" He begins to lead Lacrima down the street and into a dark and spooky looking alleyway, "Come on, I know a short cut!" Utau and her partner are lagging a little ways behind them.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana is led down an alleyway! Oh so dark and spooky! Surely she isn't used to alleyways at all. Except when she drains people there and leaves them unconcious and breathless. When she gets about halfway down the alleway, she figures this is safe enough for her to make her move.
She lets herself shift again. That dress changes to her normal Lacrima outfit-- the dress with the slight bat theme-- that Norie thought was novel. Vampire.. n' all. Even though she can't shapeshift into one.
She doesn't think anyway. "So tell me..." she says, pointed teeth more pronounced. "Does this usually work out so well for you?~" she asks, just a little breathily. "I bet you're so full of yourself right now!" she says half in a upbeat tone even.
She doesn't actually let go of the boy's hand this whole time and neither does she actually /let/ him, her grip vice tight and oh so cold to that touch still.
"Draneje." she says curtly. The energy draining happens, a light purple glow eminating from her hand as she begins to drain the boy's energy fiercely, softly pursing her lips.
"Don't worry. This won't take long~ You'll wake up in a few hours. Or should~" she insists with wide eyes.
Somehow, she still looks innocent as she does this. It's creepy , perhaps, in it's own way.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Lacrima's partner has already moved deep into the alleyway, far enough from his friends so that they're isolated and alone for a short while. It's only then that he makes a fast grab for her, about to try and..Take advantage of her, and a flash of light reveals a pocket knife that he's about to bring up against her neck to threaten her, should she try and struggle.
But Lacrima's already a step ahead of him and clearly prepared for this. She manages to drain his energy before he can pin her against the wall, causing the knife to drop from his hand as his body is rapidly weakenned of energy. "What...Are you...Witch!?" he yells, and his yells attract his friends nearby, one of whom already has his arm around Utau's neck, dragging her into the alley with a knife against her throat.
Utau however, just watches calmly with a smile, and begins to sing, black wings forming on her shoulder blades. Seems she has a thing for the bat theme as well, and as she sings, she entraps her would be partner in her entrancing music, causing him to fall to the ground a moment later, asleep, but not before she draws out his heart's egg, branding it with a large red 'X'.
"Too easy.." She smiles, glancing over at Lacrima, noticing that she already has taken care of her would be attacker. "Hmm, seems you've got things covered here as well. Well..Looks like they had it coming, anyways..." She's about to head out of the alleyway, and enjoy the rest of her night without these bozos..When the two other young men block the exit, each of them brandishing knives, and guns as well, with silencers on them.
"Hold it right there, freaks!" and they start firing their guns at the two girls.
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana continues to hold onto the boy and drain... and drain... and drain....
Until he falls unconcious. She watches him fall, down to the ground. Not dead. Breathing. But he'll be sleeping for a bit. She leans down a bit. "I'm sorry, Vampire! Not Witch. But you'll sleep real good..." she says, not that he can hear her. Or maybe he can if he's just drifting off. Regardless.
She turns to face Utau and smiles. "Right--let's..."
Gunfire. She blinks. Normal... weapons?
This isn't magic. It's guns and bullets. Bullets impact her. Utau can hear the thwip even. There's no blood however. What there is, is small wisps of smoke rising from holes on her person. She does wince, but it's not a severe reaction. Not one that should happen from being struck with bullets.
"I've never been struck with normal weaponary before. I knew it shouldn't hurt me too much, but...." she begins taking some steps forward toward's the boys with the weapons. It's a brisk pace.
"They're not capable of killing me. This feels odd~" she talks. Maybe to Utau. Maybe to herself. She throws her hand out-- and a bolt of dark energy flies out towards one of the boys. It's weak. But well. Magical attacks. Even weak ones probably hurt a lot when you're mortal.
"Utau, be careful if you can't take it.." she says softly.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
"No sweat, we can take these guys!" she smiles confidently, ready to call it a night. And then the two thugs with the guns start spraying the alleyway with bullets. Utau's not an immortal vampire. However, she does have other abilities. Even as she ducks behind a trashcan, Iru leaps into action, transforming with her, becoming Lunatic Charm.
To the thugs, she may appear as yet another vampire, at least so her costume makes her seem; Another batgirl, complete with wings. Fortunately these wings are tough enough to protect her against a spray of mere bullets, and she wraps her wings protectively around her body, advancing steadily upon the two men.
When she opens her wings again, it is to unleash a fury of magical energy bats at the two young men. Combined with Lacrima's magical bolts, the two young men flee in terror, vanishing into the night. Fortunately, none of them were hurt that badly, but they sure were given a scare.
Once the immediate danger has passed, Lunatic sighs, shaking her head, a bit disappointed. She didn't expect much more from those types of people, but it would be nice to meet a decent guy for once.
"You alright, Lacrima-chan? Looks like they've gone.." of course, it seems that Lacrima can more than handle herself, and Utau smiles, quite impressed. "Well, wasn't that fun..At least you got your fill..And I got an egg out of it. I suppose it wasn't a total loss.."
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana softly relaxes and blinks some as she watches the men leave. There's a big black splotch where her dark energy blast hit. She lowers her hand and looks to Utau and seems to waver a moment. She steadies herself. "Hahaha~" she mutters.
"Nrg... So-sorry. I only have 'dreams' of being hit with things like that. It was a little jarring. Um.... I should. Probably..."
She seems to close her eyes and thinks a bit.... then those bullets that managed to hit her clatter to the ground around her as they seem to fall from her person. "That's better." she says.
"Okay." she pauses. "I'm okay!" she says. "Are you okay?" she asks.
"Are boys normally like that." she asks. "They seemed nice enough until they tried to take us to thier dorm." she says.
"That was kind of creepy." she says.
"Right. I feel a lot better!" she says.
"Sorry that ruined the night. Still wanna do some things before it gets too late?" she asks, that looks of bemusement returning relativly fast.
"Oh..."
"Right..."
She lets most of her look fade back to the look she was sporting before. "There." she says.
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau peers thoughtfully at Norie, now that the danger has subsided. Wow, she didnt even break a sweat when the bullets went flying. It's kinda..Creepy, actually. Then the bullets clatter to the groud, and she gives a slightly nervous chuckle.
"Wow..You were amazing. I've never quite seen someone like you." still, she's a little scary too. Utau's just glad she's not her enemy.
"Yeah.." She quickly checks herself over, and realizes that she got nicked on her shoulder, the same shoulder that got scratched by a youma in another recent battle, the one she ran away from. "Oh.." She clutches her bleeding shoulder, "I should probably deal with this.."
Utau fortunately brought her purse with her, although it was discarded on the side when the thug tried to make a move on her. She grabs it from the side of the alley and searches through it, pulling out a handkerchief, transforming down as she does so, then wraps the red handkerchief around her wound. "Ugh..I think it's alright, for now."
Looking back at Norie, she just shrugs and smiles, "It's alright, I knew what we were getting into with those boys. I mean, I suppose a small part of me hoped they might be decent, but.." Utau shrugs, "I guess decent guys are a rarity..But hey, we could go for a bite to eat..Do you..Eat regular food?"
- Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana says. "I can eat regular food, just as I could drink regular drink earlier." she says. "I like eating! It's familiar." she looks down and nrg. "S--sorry. About that. I'm not really... hu---" she sighs. "...normal... So...." she bites her lip a bit.
"I don't bleed. I'm not even sure if I have blood." she admits. "But..if you're hurt. Shouldn't we go to a doctor's?" she asks.
Then a pause. "Right. How the heck would we explain that anyways." she says. "We got shot at." she almost giggles a little nervously a moment.
"So let's go eat, Utau-chan!" she says. A little more normal like now.
"Maybe we can even find you someone decent!" she says.
"Who isn't out to shoot at us!"
- Utau Hoshina has posed:
Utau shakes her head, "No, don't apologize. It's not your fault, you're doing the best you can with what you have.." She pauses, staring down at her wound, "I'll survive. I'll see a doctor tomorrow, I suppose. Fortunately the darkness covered us, so they shouldn't be on the lookout for us or anything." Plus, magical girl obscurity usually factors in.
"Alright, there's a good sushi bar a few blocks away, if you're into suchi. Right now, I'm hungry enough to eat just about anything!" of course, Utau is always hungry, "All that dancing around burned up a lot of energy. So let's go!"
And she wipes the dust off her dress as she steps out of the alleyway, pulling her hat over her head to hide her features. She's not really in the mood for rabid fans tonight.
