Flower meet Flora | |
---|---|
Date of Scene: | 27 November 2016 |
Location: | Mitakihara/Pikarigaoka - Botanical Gardens |
Synopsis: | Haruka and Sakura meet flower, dance for a bit and then Sakura gets a new big sister stand in! |
Cast of Characters: | Haruka Haruno, Sakura Kinomoto |
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
The Princess of Flowers Blossoming in Full Glory was walking around the Penguin Park botanical gardens, looking at the dormant and winter-blooming flowers with curiosity. Even if winter didn't officially start until sometime in December, flowers had their own sense of time. She was sure this garden was carefully tended to seem pleasant even in the wintertime, and she enjoyed the sight of it. She had a few flowers blooming inside, protected from the cold, but they were small and spare compared to a garden, chosen to be... right for the climate and season.
She crouched near a lower flowerbed, carefully running her fingers over the dirt with obvious care for the earth beneath. She'd run here, and she was in her running clothes, but that didn't stop her from taking time for a garden. Haruka Haruno always had time for a good garden.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
And then something strange began to happen. The flowers, once dormant, slowly began to spring to life. Like soft snowy crystals, white flowers began to slowly bloom, creating a dazzling, beautiful array of snowy petals. Flowers slowly began to appear then as well, flowers that hadn't been here before.
Reds, blues, whites, purples, all of the flowers mixing in the area around the gardens, sending dazzling flower petals through the air and making the entire area bright and colorful.
Then, one of the rose bushes sprang to life and a strange woman in a pink dress with large curls on her hair and flower earrings reached out, plucking one from the bush.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka yelps, falling on her rear end and staring at the woman with startled surprise. She considers for a moment, watching the woman, before she stands up. "Hello? Is this your doing?" Was this something to do with her, as Cure Flora, or something else entirely?
She can't identify the flowers offhand, and those particular roses are definitely not suited to the season. "...That poor rosebush. It should be sleeping," Haruka says in a small, slightly sad voice. She's happy to see the flowers, but sad for the bush- after all, winter is when flowers sleep, to save energy for the spring. She gets up and walks over to the woman. "Who are you, anyway?"
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
The woman smiled and gave a little nod. She merely waved her hand and the bush returned to its dormant state, aside from the one rose she'd picked. She walked forward, stepping in front of the woman and gently leaned in, tucking the rose in behind her ear.
She then, in answer to her question, waves a hand out over all the flowers as more petals began to flow through the air. It was hard to tell, but... most of them seemed to be coming from her.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka reached up to the rose, smiling a little. "You like flowers, too?" It's mostly a rhetorical question. She glances around with a small, mischevious smile, and pulls out her Dress Up Key and Perfume, transforming for a moment. There are pink, yellow, and white flowers emanating out from the Pretty Cure, in a very subtle breeze. Granted, those petals seem to disappear on getting too far from the Cure, but still.
"I can do something like that, too. There are a lot more of them and the wind picks up when I'm fighting, though," she says, the rose still perched over an ear. She offers a hand to the woman after a curtsey, teal eyes sparkling with quiet good humor.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
The Flower reached out and took her hand and then... proceeded to dance with her. Full on ballroom dance, pulling the girl close, swirling around, her dress sending ever more flowers into the air, creating a blizzard of color around them as they moved.
Unknown to the card, Sakura was already on her way, With Tomoyo in tow. Today she was wearing the witch outfit. "You look so cute, Sakura-chan," Tomoyo said, of course.
"Are you sure there's a card here?" Sakura asked Kero, who nodded.
"Of course, I can sense it a mile away."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Flora laughed at the Flower dragging her into dancing, though she was slightly clumsy at dancing. She hadn't pursued lessons on that with Miss Shamour... yet. She figured that would probably come later, when the cat-fairy dictated. She only hoped she didn't step on any toes as she danced. She smiled crookedly. "Hopefully I'm not that bad of a dancer," she says.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
The Flower shook her head, just smiling. She swirled around a few more times, sending a gentle whirlwind of flowers up into the air. The flowers were thick, now, a few inches. The flower smiled down and then leaned in. She cupped Flora's cheeks and... kissed her on the forehead. It wasn't a romantic kiss, though. IT was soft. The kind of kiss a mother might give their child to scare away the monsters. Then, just like that, she stopped. A look of soft sadness covered her features and she looked past Flora.
To Sakura. Who was staring with wide eyes. "That's the flower card, Sakura," Kero said.
She nodded. "Get away from her! Windy!" And drew the card, casting it. Winds lanced out and... scattered the petals, sending flower away from flora, but leaving her unharmed. The petals fell around them, surrounding them in a dome of them. "Sakura, wait!" Kero yelled, but Sakura didn't seem to notice. Flower stood a few feet away, staring at the young witch and her wand, merely shaking her head.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Flora glared at the younger girl, going from sweetly amused by the maternal kiss to a quiet point of intensity in a half-second. She dropped into a very brief crouch, launching herself in Sakura's direction with an aim for kicking the obvious weapon out of the younger girl's hands. "What are you doing?" she demanded as soon as she landed, Dress Up Key in one hand. Her Floral Tourbillon would only purify if the girl in front of her was powered darkly in any way, but the winds caused by it and the sheer amount of flowers around here would probably increase its power if needed.
Flora radiated Regal Disapproval, her height advantage over the auburn-haired cardcaptor only adding to it as the Princess of Flowers in Full Bloom drew herself up, looking down her nose without thinking on it. She exuded the aura of someone of authority, highly offended and affronted.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto took a step back, squeaking. Kero was stunned into silence. Then her wand was KICKED from her hand and landed a bit away. She gave another little squeak, backing up a little bit, her hands clenching up to her chest. "I... I-I... I was just trying to... I-I was t-trying to c-catch the clow card before it caused any... any trouble and... and i-it was attacking you and... and I... and I..."
The much shorter girl stared up at the large, frighteneing girl and... it looked like she was going to burst into tears. Her little fists under her chin, shaking fearfully, her legs quivering, her whole body swaying fearfully from side to side.
Tomoyo was catching it all on tape, of course. And kero tried to speak up, but sakura completely ignored him in the face of this much more frightening girl.
Flower started to walk towards them, gently stepping through the petals.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Flora's disapproval turned to sympathy as the girl started crying. "...She was making the flowers bloom out of season and dancing with me, that's all. She wasn't attacking." Flora stepped over to where the oddly beaky wand was, picking it up and offering it to the other girl. "Please don't cry. I thought you were attacking, and reacted." She knelt down a little bit, placing her free hand on the other girl's shoulder.
Flora looked up at the Flower card, frowning with concern. "So you're a... 'Clow Card'?" she asked, tilting her head.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto took the wand, gulping nervously and then hugging it to herself. Kero sighed. "Sakura, I was trying to tell you. Flower is a gentle card, she won't attack someone. She probably just wanted to have some fun."
Sakura blinked. "O-oh. I thought she--" And then flower was there. And she was hugging the little girl, her arms wrapped gently around the young lady and softly holding her as she stopped shaking. Sakura then stared up at the larger flower woman, who smiled down motherly at her. Sakura gulped. "I'm... sorry..."
Flower then turned to Flora and gave a nod, before taking Sakura's hand and Flora's hand, gently putting them together and giving a smile. Such the little peacemaker.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"She even stopped making the rosebushes bloom when I told her she was going to hurt them that way," Flora agreed. She smiled as Flower put her hand against Sakura's, and squeezed them softly. "And it was fun." Flora stepped back and curtsied slightly.
"I'm really sorry for scaring you. I'm Cure Flora, the Princess of Flowers in Full Bloom," she introduced herself gravely. "Who are you three?"
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gasped, her eyes going wide. "You're... you're a princess?" she asked softly, before eeping and curtsing politely. "I-I'm Sakura Kinomoto, a pleasure to meet you! I-I'm really sorry for intruding!"
"I am Keroberos, guardian of the seal!"
"I'm Tomoyo," Tomoyo said, holding the camera up. "You're so cute when you're apologetic, Sakura."
Sakura blushed and then glanced to Flower. The card just smiled and gave a nod. She then waved her hand and the flowers ceased their bloom. "So... it's okay if I...?" The woman merely nodded. She gulped and then lifted the wand. She then stopped. "Do... you want to say goodbye... first?" she asked Flora.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Flora nodded at the princess statement. "...Apparently Tokyo has a lot of magical princesses and princes around, though," she said with amsuement in her voice, tempering the rank with how common it was in Tokyo.
At each introduction, Flora curtsied and murmured 'Gokigen'you' in response. At Sakura's offer, she smiled and briefly embraced Flower. "It's not like she's going away, right? It's more like the flowers in winter than it is her ceasing to exist?"
She'd seen Sakura using Windy, after all.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and nodded. "Y-yes! Just like that! And... this way she can be with the rest of her friends. W-well, when I... finish catching them all. I'm sorry it's taking me so long, Flower."
The card smiled hugged Flora back, gnetly holding her for a moment. She then moved forward, putting her hands on Sakura's shoulders and merely leaning forward to place that same kiss on her forehead. The child's eyes went wide as the girl nodded and then stepped back. "R-return to your true form! Clow card!" Sakura said. The card was gathered up, forming back into its cloud form. She stared at the card, then looked to Kero. "She ummm..."
"I think that was her way of saying she approves of you as the card captor," he said with a nod.
Unknown to sakura, her hair was now filled with cherry blossoms. She then glanced to Flora. "I ummm... wow... I've... never met a princess before. It's... it's so nice to meet you," she whispered.
"So, what about all these flowers?" Tomoyo asked.
Sakura looked down. the ground was COVERED in about four inches deep of flower petals.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Flora giggled at the sight of the cherry blossoms in Sakura's hair. "It doesn't mean a whole lot- I was born normal, just like you, and was made a princess just like it seems like you got handed the Cards," she said. "There's a prince from the place where I got my powers here, too," Flora offered. "If you're looking out for things, though... um..."
Flora held up her Dress Up Key. "If you guys find people who have keys like these, in blue or yellow, can you let them know there are people looking for them? They're also princesses like me, Cure Mermaid and Cure Twinkle, and I have stuff for them."
Flora's eyes drifted to the flowers.
"I think the wind-thing you did worked- as long as we scatter them more... Or, since they were kind of caused by magic, I wonder if they do the same thing these do." 'These' was accented by Flora grabbing one of the flower petals she casually radiated out of the air, opening her hand to show it was empty.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. She eyed them and... "They aren't going to disappear," Kero said.
"What? Why?"
"Clow made the flower card so he didn't have to take care of his garden. These flwoers are real flowers, they won't go away on their own."
"Wow, so it makes real flowers? Any kind?"
"Of course, Clow Reed was the most powerful mage to ever exist. Something like a bit of flowers was easy for him."
She nodded and grabbed windy again. "Windy! Scatter the flowers to show everyone!" she yelled. Windy appeared and flowed through the land, gathering the flowers and spreading them all over the park.
Sakura watched with awe, before turning to Flora. "A key? Well... I have the key of clow but... I don't think it's the same. And... that's so cool. A real princess..."
"I bet you'd make a beautiful princess, Sakura," Tomoyo said, which made sakura turn red.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"Well, we do look like we could be almost sisters," Flora said, watching the flowers get scattered with a small smile on her face. She realized, after a moment, how utterly out of context the comment would seem to someone who had never seen her in her normal form. With a brief flash of pink energy, she dropped the transformation.
"See? We could be sisters, or cousins." Haruka dug in a pocket, offering a card with her cell phone number over.
"I think your key would be pretty different, especially if it came from Earth. The Dress Up Keys come from the Hope Kingdom, where Prince Kanata is from." There was something in her face, and her voice, when she mentioned him, a certain fondness that was probably painfully obvious to the even mildly observant.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gasped with wide eyes, staring at the woman. Tomoyo gasped. "Sakura, stand by her!"
Sakura eeped, but did as she was told.
"Oh, you two are absolutely adorable together. She even looks the same way you do when you talk about Yukito."
Sakura's cheeks almost radiated red. "T-t-tomoyo-chan!" she squeaked, covering her cheeks with her hand. "D-don't say thaaaaat!" she whined, wiggling about.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka squawked, most decidedly also red. "H-hey! H-he's just-- really nice, and..." She was digging a hole. She knew she was digging a hole. She took a deep breath through her nose, trying to compose herself.
"I guess it's understandable, considering he's the first person who didn't make fun of my dream of being a princess," she offered to the younger girl, slightly mutinous in tone.
"When I'm not all blonde and regal, I'm Haruka Haruno, a middle school student at Verone Academy," she said. "My roommate never showed up, so if you ever want to chat, come visit! And if you need help..." Haruka shrugged a little. "Apparently all Pretty Cure, Princess or otherwise, are pretty strong and fast, so text me if there's something you can't handle. All of us magical people should help each other out, I think..."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blushed and squirmed. Tomoyo just smiled. "Oh, it's no problem. You both look absolutely adorable when you're thinking of your crushes. Yukito and Kanata~" Tomoyo had that knowing grin on her face. Kero just shrugged.
Sakura nodded and blushed, taking the card and putting it in her cell phone. "I... thank you. Really? Hee hee. I've never had a sister before. Well... except Tomoyo. She's kind of like my sister, too." Odd, did Tomoyo give an odd sigh there? "And yeah! I've met so many magical girls since I found this book and--" Then her eyes went wide. "T-that's right! I needed to ask! Is... is Sailor V real?"
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"Well, I've never met Sailor V, but I met Sailor Moon!" Haruka said, trying to ignore Tomoyo's comment. "I have a little sister, but she's back in my hometown with my parents. I'm here by myself becaue I got accepted into Verone."
Haruka moved to sit on a bench, smiling at the younger magical girl. "Sailor Moon helped me-- because the Princess thing came with the magic thing, I didn't think I was really a real princess... she kind of set me straight there."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sat by her, gasping. "Really? That's... wait, sailor moon? Who's that?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. "There are other... sailor people? Do they have games too?"
Tomoyo was of course loving this. Sakura was just adorable when she was talking with others~
"I think you're a really beautiful princess, too. What's your kingdom like? Are you able to go there?"
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka laughed. "I'm from a little town outside of Tokyo, here in Japan! I hear the Hope Kingdom is really nice-- or was before Dysdark messed it up," Haruka said.
"I think there are, I don't know if they have video games, though." Haruka shrugged a little- she'd never been big into video games, except recently for Pokemon Go, which was more fun since she liked to go running a lot.
At the comment about her being a beautiful princess, Haruka's cheeks colored. "I... well, I wanted to be a princess since I was really little. There's a book called the Princess of Flowers, by Yume Mochizuki. It's a picture book, and I decided when I was little I wanted to be a princess like the Princess of Flowers. My Dress Up Key came from the Hope Kingdom, and I think my dream is what woke it up." Haruka paused for a moment, kicking her feet. "If you see some guys wearing locks who put people in cages of despair, and make monsters with giant locks on them, call me immediately. They're DysDark, the ones who messed up the Hope Kingdom." Her expression and voice are briefly fierce, protective. "And I think I'm the only one who can unlock those cages until Mermaid and Twinkle show up."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, watching her. Her little hands came up under her face and she gasped, sounding frightened. "Oh no, not your place, too! Ohhhh, why are all these bad things happening?" she asked.
Kero frowned and crossed his arm. "There is a lot of magic in this area, now that you mention it. Magic used to be very, very rare. All these magical girls now... this is probably why you were chosen to bear the key now, Sakura. The world probably needs the clow cards and, by extension, you."
She squeaked. "W-what? But it was an accident!"
"Clow Reed knew everything, he could see both the past AND the future. If he didn't trust whoever ended up with the book of clow to work it correctly, you never would have gotten your hands on it. Chances are your future is going to be tied just as closely to all of these magical girls as mine is with yours."
"W-wow. Well... I ummm... if I ever see them, I'll let you know. And... let me know fi you ever need help, okay?"
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka spluttered at what Kero said about Clow, shaking her head. "He what?" That was unsettling- the idea that someone, long, long ago, had seen her, the idea that it was her ultimate destiny to be a princess, that this was what she was meant to do. It made her feel like she was standing on the edge of a crumbling, tall cliff overlooking a vast canyon, making her feel small and insignificant.
"I will. After all, all the magical people I've seen around seem to want to help each other." Haruka smiled weakly, trying to regain her composure for the younger girl's sake, if nothing else. "And you should meet Kanata sometime, he's really nice. He showed up here in Tokyo." She wasn't sure where he was staying, or what he was doing while she was busy with school. The thought of him in a school uniform made her dissolve into giggles briefly.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Kero glanced over. "Clow Reed. He was able to predict the future with uneering accuracy. Sakura will be able to do it as well, eventually. Well, probably not as well. But she can already tell the future a little bit."
"W-what? When?"
"Your dreams, rmeember? You keep having dreams about the people you'll meet. If there are this many princesses and worlds getting involved, then chances are you'll need all the clow cards as quickly as possible in order to help all these forces fight the bad people off. And make sure the clow cards don't fall into their hands. That could end up destroying the world."
Sakura urked and... yeah, now she had that same look haruka had. That 'on the edge of a crumbling, tall cliff' look. Tomoyo gasped. "So... cute..."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka buried her face in her hands for a moment at Tomoyo's comment. "Well, that's... useful," Haruka commented. She'd like to be able to know when Mermaid and Twinkle show up, or even if they did defeat DysDark and help out the Hope Kingdom.
Still, it was utterly terrifying to think that someone could predict magic that accurately. "I wonder what happened that there's so much magic around here," she muttered softly.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gulped and nodded, staring. KEro then frowned. "On the other hand, he never DID tell me about you. So I suppose it's possible that you don't only fail, he'd know you fail so the real card captor could show up and--" He then noticed the look of despair on her face. "W-wait, Sakura, I didn't mean, I just, err... I-I'm sure you're going to succeed. Really! Most the cards like you!"
"Two of the three I've met tried to drown me..." she mumbled.
Kero gulped. "Eh... heh heh. Well, errrr, Haruka. It's simple. For all this magic to be gathering here and now means something big and bad is coming. Possibly something that would, normally, end the world." He nodded. "Think of yourselves as an immune system. All of these magical girls are being gathered in order to fight this big, bad thing off. To keep the world safe. After all, magic doesn't just come out of nowhere."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka shot Kero a glare, wrapping an arm around Sakura's shoulder. "Someone very smart once told me that it doesn't help to say things like that-- and they were talking about one of the Royal Faeries being as much of a Sour Sally as that sounds, Mis-ter Keroberos," Haruka said archly. There was a touch of the Disapproving Princess from earlier in her tone, right down to Haruka tilting her head back so she could look down her nose at him.
"That makes sense, though. I don't think the guys from DysDark I've seen could be organized enough to take out a whole kingdom on their own, and if their leader does show up here..." Her tone was temporarily dark, worried. She shook her head. "But I don't think things are that far, yet."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto kind of leaned into the arm, her eyes staring off. "What... what if he's right, though? I mean, I-I've come across three cards. I never would have caught them if others hadn't helped me. I would have died. What if that's what's supposed to happen? What if I'm just gathering some of them and then... then one of the other, better magical girls grabs them and becomes the new card captor? What if that's... what I--"
"NO!" Keros said quickly, shaking his head. "No, sakura, I was just, saying that was possible. But it is EXTREMELY unlikely. The key of clow chose YOU. It chose YOU to be its master. That means the cards are supposed to fall into your hands. Clow would NEVER set up such a sweet girl to fail like this, honest! I mis spoke, I'm sorry." Well, he at least seemed to care about her, at least.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka grabbed Sakura by the shoulders, turning her to look at her. "That's despair chewing on you. Stop it." Her voice was commanding, even forceful. "Despair is what wrecked the Hope Kingdom, and I'm not going to let it eat someone like you. Keep hoping. Do you want to be the one with all of your cards? Then don't let anyone tell you you can't, okay? You will become the master of all those cards, just like I am going to be a grand princess." Her voice is the voice of absolutely ferocious, inspiring hope.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto stared up at the other girl, her eyes wide and shocked. She stared up with amazement. Then, softly... "You... really think I can do it?" she asked, sounding almost like a frightened child who needed a bit of confirmation that everything was going to be okay. "If I... try...?" She was starting to believe it, too.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"Yes. I at least hope you can, which is the best anyone can do. You might be just starting, but... heck, I'm just starting, too," Haruka said. She hugged Sakura close. "And hope can do a lot. Hope, and hanging on to your dreams. I mean, if I hadn't hung on to my dream of being a storybook princess when I was five, there are a lot of people out there who would be trapped in cages of despair right now, and wouldn't have much of a chance of getting out."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, closing her eyes and relaxing into the arm. "Thank you. That... really... means a lot. I think you're going to be an amazing princess. Just like the storybooks," she said softly, closing her eyes. "Beautiful, fair, kind and caring..." she mumbled softly. "I'll... I'll do my best not to let you down, okay?"
Kero let out a sigh of relief. Happier sakura was good. "Besides, Sakura. The flower card was happy to go with you. So I'm sure the others will be too, once you show what you can do. You're a lot stronger than you realize. The fact you were able to break the seal at all shows how much magical potential you have."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka nodded. "I'll do the same," she replied, ruffling Sakura's hair gently. "And I can introduce you to some of the other magical people I know!" She thought that maybe introducing Usagi and Sakura would be a good idea, and the same with Nagihiko... The poor girl seemed like she'd felt, there at the beginning, utterly unsure of herself, and it made Haruka want to hug her.
"And Keroberos doesn't sound like a negative nelly, unlike some magical types I can think of," Haruka muttered under her breath, thinking of Aroma and his insistence on formal things. Butthead bird. She could grow to resent him dearly, and she was happy he'd flocked to Kanata when Kanata had shown up. "I might have to ask her... but... Sakura-chan, would you like to have a princess lesson or two with me?" Miss Shamour was a strict teacher, but fair, and even encouraging so long as she didn't give up, and she thought that maybe the feline Royal Fairy might be a good influence on Sakura. "One of the faeries from the Hope Kingdom has been teaching me things like how to serve tea properly," she said. "She's... honest about stuff like this, but she's fair. I was making tea for hours before I got it right..."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "I'd like that. A-and Kero-chan is amazing, really! He's been so helpful to me! He helps me with my chores and has guided me through the cards and he really is encouraging, honest! I couldn't have done any of this without him."
The little mascot blushed. "W-well, I ummm, y-you're a great captor, Sakura. I'm just trying to help."
She then blinked. "R-really? Princess lessons? I-I'd love that! That'd be amazing!"
"Oh, you have to let me record it!" Tomoyo said excitedly. Recording all of this as it was.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka squawked, staring at Tomoyo and then the camera in wide-eyed disbelief. "D-do you record everything Sakura does!?" Haruka squeaked, cheeks a high and bright red.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blushed and then nodded. "Oh, yeah. She really does," she said with the defeated voice of someone who has given up so long ago.
"Of course. Sakura-chan is the most adorable. Doesn't she just look the cutest in that little outfit? If you want, I can show you some of the videos of her other adventures!"
Sakura's cheeks turned scarlet and she covered her face. "Oh please no... Tomoyo-chan..."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka laughed nervously, shaking her head. "M-maybe some other time, Tomoyo-chan," she said. Note to self: Tomoyo is kind of... an odd child. And sort of obsessed. A lot obsessed. Haruka was so glad she didn't have a friend like that, it had to be so embarrassing. "We'll have to ask Miss Shamour if it's okay, too," she said.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded and smiled. "Tomoyo-chan really helps me, too! She makes all my outfits for these. Though I wish she could settle on just one..."
"But you justl ook so cute, Sakura-chan. It wouold be a travesty to just leave you in one outfit..."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka laughed. "I think it's easier that my clothes as Cure Flora just appear," she said with amusement in her voice. "And that I just have the one. Tomoyo-chan does make some pretty cute outfits, though!" Haruka smiled at the darker-haired girl.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Oh, yes. She's an amazing designer! She's so talented."
"Well, it's easy when I have such a pretty girl inspiring my designs. IT's so much fun to dress you up."
"Eh heh heh..." Poor Sakura.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"You sound like you really love Sakura," Haruka says, stretching slightly. "Do you go running, Sakura-chan? That's what I was doing before I came here. A grand princess is supposed to be strong, kind, and beautiful, so I figure running a lot can only be good for becoming a Grand Princess... And I think it might help when I transform, too. I mean, if I learn how to run really fast at normal-people speeds, think about what I could do transformed!"
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked. "Oh, of course. We love each other very much! We're the best of friends!"
Tomoyo sighed and nodded. "Oh, yes. Sakura-chan is amazing at sports. She always wins on track and field day and she's great with the baton and cheerleading and an amazing swimmer."
Kero nodded. "Yeah, it's her one talent as the card captor."
Sakura blinked. "Waht do you mean ONE talent? I can do more than exercise!"
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka grumbled. "I wonder if Miss Shamour can give you and Aroma lessons about getting your feet out of your mouths," she told Kero, voice flat and completely unamused.
"I'm not really good at much of anything in particular, yet, but that's what the Princess Lessons are for," Haruka says.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto pouted a little and crossed her arms. "I... I am good for more than that, aren't I?"
"Oh, of course you are, Sakura-chan. You're so kind and sweet and cute. And you're really good at the flute. And you're so caring. You have so many talents," tomoyo said happily, pepping her friend back up. Maybe a friend like that wasn't so bad.
"I-I think you're pretty good. I mean, you... beat me really bad. I mean, it only took a second. And... and you're so nice..."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka waved a hand dismissively at that comment. "That first thing just comes with being transformed. The first time I did it, I jumped and I swear if I'd gone any higher I'd have smacked a passing plane." The latter comment got her to blush, though. "Well, a princess is supposed to be nice."
She smiled at Tomoyo for being encouraging to her new young friend. "Maybe during one of the breaks coming up, you guys can visit my family with me! They have a restaurant, and when it's busy, I help out!" She was good at making and serving noodles. It ran in the Haruno family.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Oh, I'd like that! What kind of restaurant is it?"
Tomoyo blinks. "Are the uniforms cute?" and she was eying sakura.
Sakura just laughed, giggling. "Yeah. But you're so nice and sweet and pretty, as a princess or not." She said with a gentle, honest smile.
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"We make noodles, mostly. Oh! And you could meet my little sister, Momoka-chan! She just started school recently." Haruka beams. "And we don't really have uniforms..." Though she suddenly suspected that this admission would mean Tomoyo would make uniforms for them, something her giant goofy goober of a father would probably fall in love with.
Haruka tried to refuse the feeling of dread in the back of her mind. "Thank you, Sakura-chan. You're really nice and sweet, too."
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Well, i'd love to meet her, then. All of them! That sounds so nice! Are... are they all as nice as you?" she asked with a big grin.
"Really? No uniforms? I guess I'll just have to make some then, huh?" Tomoyo said with a sigh. "Don't worry, I'll make a really cute one for both of you. You'll really be like sisters. And something cute for you, too, Kero-chan!"
"Yay!"
Sakura just giggled. "Thanks! And thank you so much for ummm... with the flower card. Sorry I thought she was... she's such a nice card."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka laughed. "Yeah. My dad's kind of a dork, though. He cries over everything, I swear. My mom's a lot more practical. Momoka-chan is kind of mad I went away for school, but I don't really blame her..." Haruka gave Tomoyo a startled look, cheeks turning red. She was not telling Kanata about this. And hopefully Tomoyo would focus more on Sakura than her.
"I should introduce you guys to Puff and Aroma-- Puff more. She's one of the Royal Faeries of the Hope Kingdom, and she's really sweet. Aroma is kind of a pain in the butt- he's really stuck on protocol and stuff."
"She's a super-nice card," Haruka agreed, standing up and stretching.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "What? Fairies? I'd love to meet fairies! I mean, I guess I've... kind of met one."
"I'm not a fairy!" Kero yelled. "I am the guardian beast, one of the most powerful creations of Clow Reed! There are fairy cards, though."
Sakura just giggled. "I don't blame her. You seem like a really cool big sister! Nothing at all like my big brother."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka snickered at Kero's outrage, offering her hand to him. "Do you have to pretend to be a stuffed animal for the normal people? That's what Puff does. Aroma can get away with acting like a bird, but... Puff looks like a bright pink tiny spaniel." There was no real recourse there.
Haruka's cheeks colored at the comment. "You have an older brother? How much older?"
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sighed. "Ugh, he's seventeen and he's the absolute WORST. But he's friends with Yukito and yukito is the absolute best," she said with a dreamy sigh, little hearts over her head. "I can't imagine why someone so amazing would hang out with someone so awful like my big brother..." She then glanced to keros. "Yeah, he ha to hide or he gets in trouble."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"Well, if he ever wants to hide out in my dorm, it's pretty safe as far as stuff like that goes. Short of like, room inspections and stuff, nobody but me and people I invite go in or out. It's kind of nice, honestly..." Haruka stretches, ruffling Sakura's hair.
"You sound like me talking about Kanata when you mention this Yukito person!" It was slight, mild teasing, with acknowledgement of her absolutely ridiculous crush on Kanata thrown in for good measure.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto eeped, her cheeks going red. "I-it's not that, Y-yukito-sama is just... so amazing. Everyone thinks so. I get to see him every day on the way home from school and he's so kind and sweet and he always gives me pieces of candy and he's just the most amazing person ever!"
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
"...You realize you only sound more like me talking about Kanata?" Haruka asked, tone dry and amused. She smiled crookedly, sitting back down again. "I should know. I have the worst crush on Kanata. I have since I was six years old. He gave me my Dress Up Key... There was a boy in my class who told me I could never be a princess, and I ran away from school and cried so much... and Kanata was there and gave me this, told me it was a good luck charm to protect my dream." And now her expression has gone distant and dreamy.
"And he's just as kind as I remembered..." Has. It. Bad.
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sighed and, for a moment, the two would be caught in a reflective barrier of 'crush crush crush' with the squealing and the giggling and the super duper happy.
Tomoyo got it allll on camera. "Wow, you two really are adorable when you're in love~ I'll have to keep this one special...."
- Haruka Haruno has posed:
Haruka sighed softly, then shook her head. "We should go get food," she said firmly, face furious red. "I'm always kind of hungry after doing magic stuff, are you, Sakura-chan?" Haruka asked. Quick! Divert topic!
- Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded rapidly, eeping as she looked in the camera. "R-right! Food sounds good! Yes, let's go get something to eat! ah ha ha ha ha!"
Kero perked up. "A-and something sweet for me, right?"
"Of course, Kero-chan," Sakura said, grabbing him and giving him a hug. She then looked down. "I, uhhh, I need to change first, though."
