Synopsis: Shiniko comes to visit Hannah! Jobs are offered, and Hannah notices something new about Shiniko
Cast of Characters: Hannah Sharpe, Sora Hisakata

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Just another day in WPS. With a startling lack of Witches these days, it's put Hannah's research priorities squarely on Puella-related things, and thus she's been holed up in her lab for a day or two.

The explosion that happens, sending dust, a few computer parts, and what appears to be a Familiar's arm flying out of the entrance to said lab might indicate how bad things are actually going.

Out walks a lab-coated Hannah, coughing, and dusting off her now Familiar-blood soaked coat. Ugh.

She taps an intercom. "Someone send me a new coat. Ugh, and a towel, and coffee. Damnit."
Sora Hisakata has posed:
A cold, malicious and likely somewhat familiar giggle responds to that request. A moment after Shiniko walks out of the shadow, grinning with a mouth full of sharp teeth. "How is the research going, White-san?" There's a current of malice in her voice that wasn't there before, an undisputable monstrous element.

She doesn't have any of the listed items to offer, but she grabs a nearby flunky with a hand made out of shadow. "Do as she says, and quick." Then the flunky is thrown to the ground.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Squint. That's...new. And a little worrisome. NOt that Shiniko wasn't creepy before, but that monstrous malice in her voice isn't a good sign.

Still, who is she to complain when she's busy cutting up familiars?

"Ugh. Don't ask! Finding a substitute to grow a Familiar into a delicious Grief-Seed carrying Witch is a pain in the butt. I swear, nothing is ever simple with these Puella!" She vents, scowling.

The flunky scurries off. "Hey! Gentle with the interns. I'd like to keep this one sane, she does decent work and doesn't ask too many questions."

Then she's waving Shiniko on in to the lab. It's a little bit smokey and you might want to watch that new stain on the floor. Slippery!

"What brings you over today, Shini-chan? You seem different. New haircut?"
Sora Hisakata has posed:
Shiniko follows into the lab, walking on her shadow-infused hair like she tends to do. "Ahh, you're trying to expand your business from Witch-hunting into Witch-farming?" Cold, calculated curiousity. As though she's trying to calculate how she can fit it into her own plans. "The intern will be fine."

"Nothing has changed, nothing beyond that I have accelerated the rate at which I gain power. Soon, all will bow to the reign of justice." There's some passion when she says that, it almost makes the malice gone, until it comes back with a vengeance, "And the gnats who stand in my way will perish."
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A wave of the hand. "Yeah, it's always been a goal of mine, but with the recent situation I can't afford to keep it on the backburner. Can't have my clients starving to death after all." Grin.

"...You don't say? 'Justice', huh? Ahh, you're cute Shiniko. Well, you've got one part right. Only power matters if you want to see the world made better." A shrug.

"I'm glad you're keeping to your beliefs though! Can't wait to see what you get up to!" Who knows, maybe she can point Shiniko over to some of her fellow Eclipse rivals.
Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Can't have them starve, no." The Shadowy girl immediately changes topics, "So I wanted to ask you a question." Shiniko settles in a chair within the lab, and with her enduring presence the shadows within the immediate vicinity grow deeper and larger. If the Witch is aware of that, she doesn't seem to care.

"An acquaintance of mine, Lacrima, has been telling me about a little organization called UMBRA organized by our mutual friend Riventon. I wondered if you knew anything about that~?" Yeah the whole encouragement and cute thing is flat out ignored.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Soon enough, Hannah has coffee and a fresh coat. A mop, too, which she's using to deal with that stain. Mop mop mop mop mop!

The shadows getting thicker aren't a good sign though. She discretely has some of her (non-exploded) equipment take some readings.

"I know a thing or two, yeah. But Riv-kun likes keeping it pretty quiet. So if you want details, or if you want in, I'd suggest talking to him first."

Sigh. "He's been stuck in his lab, though. Good luck getting to him."
Sora Hisakata has posed:
There's some passive dark energy leaking from Shiniko, not a whole lot, but it's leaking out, pushing her influence without her even seeming to pay attention to it. "Lacrima said so, I have his phone number, but if he's busy I don't want to disturb him, I'm in no hurry~"

There's another giggle, and then she adds on, "I doubt I'll join that organization, but I might freelance for it~" Much like how she's never quite joined WPS, she's just been freelancing when desired. "I prefer my freedom."
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A shrug. "The guy's...going through a rough time right now. So yeah, patience. Who's this Lacrima anyway?"

The CEO laughs, kicks her feet up on a table, and makes Shiniko some coffe. "Contractors are the life's blood of any corporation, Shiniko! Good work for when you're young. You'll do fine I'm sure. I might have a job or two coming up soon anyway. There's a few things I want to check out, and I want someone with your...drive and abilities there." Grin.
Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Lacrima is someone I've worked with her a few times while doing work for Riventon." Which explains fairly little and yet quite a lot, in all likelihood. "She might have joined UMBRA, I am not entirely certain on the matter." She doesn't seem to care enough to bother finding out either.

"As for work, well you know I'm always interested in more work, so I'm listening." Shiniko has brought up what she wanted to bring up, but these kinds of opportunities are always good.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah shrugs. If she's working for Riv, then there's no problem. She moves on to more important things, such as work.

"Well, there's been weird readings in my equipment here." Tap tap tap a computer. "At first I thought they just needed maintenance. Turns out, they're fine if I move them to a different location. We did some looking, and the source of the disturbances is riiiight beneath our feet. Someone, or something, magical is setting up shop below /my/ company. I don't like squatters. We're going to have a fun little trip through the sewers to find whatever's down there!" A sewer level. Clearly Hannah's intent on torturing people.
Sora Hisakata has posed:
Shiniko giggles, "We shall teach them the consequences of squatting." The way her eyes glow more in that red, and the unambigious malice in her voice and giggle might inspire some to request mercy, because it does not appear like Shiniko is inclined to offer any.
