A Shopping Trip
Date of Scene: 28 December 2016
Location: Uminari City - Shopping Strip
Synopsis: Unmei and Yuzu go shopping, getting the former a complete make over and helping her get prettied up.
Cast of Characters: Unmei, Yuzuki Amemori

Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama was standing and waiting by the marketplace and...

Actually, she didn't look half bad. At all. She was wearing a black blouse that drifted down her arms rather than over her shoulders. A red and black plaid skirt that was a bit short and thigh high black leggings. She had tiny little black shoes on and her hair was let loose, even combed down. She also had little red wrist bands on. Her hair was a mess, but slightly... straighter mess. Fizzy. And her make up was... she really needed someone to teach her how to do it.

To be fair, she'd spent about two hours getting ready. And had a tiny little black purse clasped so tightly in her hands her fingers were white.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori is a few minutes early, though not quite as early as Unmei. She's got her satchel slung over her shoudler, but not her usual laptop case. She's got a warm looking pale seafoam green hoodie, headphones and a scarf to keep warm with as well as a pair of gloves. A long skirt, boots and tights round it all out. She looks slightly tired, but not as bad as she'd usually look.

Waving to Unmei as she makes her way through the crowd, she steps up alongside and says, "Hey." Keeping it simple, mostly because anything else was interrupted by a yawn. She pats Unmei's shoulder and asks, "Ready?" when she stops the yawn
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, smiling over to her. Then the smile began to fate. "Yuzuki? Is everything okay? If... if you don't feel up to this, we could do it another time?" There was an anxious look about her, though. She obviously didn't WANT to do it another time. Judging by the way she was slightly swaying and her fingers kept tapping, she obviously was very excited about this whole thing.

Of course, when given an agreement to continue, she nodded. "Yay! I managed to get a bit of money together for this. so I should be fine!"

'And here I thought you didn't like theft, Unmei~'

Her cheeks turned red. 'I-I'll give the money back, eventually! I just... needed it more. I'll return it!'

'There's nothing wrong with doing it in the first place! They'd probably never even notice.'
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks confused at the response she gets. "Huh?" is about the only answer she musters immediately. "What do you mean? I Wasn't late was I?" she looks down at herself, then around briefly, then shakes her head quickly. "Nono, I said I'd help, I meant it!" She points towards the exit and continues, "Let's go!"

Picking her way through the crowd, her inner voice only works when she's asleep so she has no input for the time being. Instead she notes the embarassed look and asks, "Something wrong?" watching her curiously as she walks, adding, "And we'll get lunch after a stop or two alright?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Okay. I just... you seem tired. I don't want you to push yourself. You're... kind of my... first real friend here and all." If allowed, she'd even take the girl's hand. In a fully friendshippy manner.

"Yay! I've really been looking forward to this! I ummm... I'm sorry I haven't really had much time to look at those videos. With christmas and all my... err... new family likes to keep us... busy during this time of the year. Eh heh. You know. Little things for his work. Meeting with people. Stuff like that. By the time I get home I'm so tired that I can't even focus. sorry..."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori stifles a yawn as if for punctation and says, "I was out late last night, something to do before classes start again, it was tiring you know?" She shakes her head though, taking the girl's hand and squeezing it, "Stop worrying so much. If I wanted to cancel I'd have called and asked to cancel right?" She considers a few things in the back of her head before finally asking, "Where do we start? Do you need anything in particular before we just go looking for something fun?"

She holds up a finger as though remembering at the last second, "I mean aside from makeup, I said we'd do that so we definitely need to." There's a few moments of consideration, "Hm... they'll probably run you through a lot of stuff at the counter. I know I got the rundown when I first asked for help. Let's... hope it doesn't take too long."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, then blinked. She stared at her for a few moments, her mouth opening and then closing. Finally... "Wait, you can just ASK? But I thought you had to have your mom teach you about that kind of stuff? Won't they think I'm weird? Or stupid? Or... or not... girly enough, if I don't know how to do it?" Her cheeks burned. "I-I mean... that's... how it was back home..."

She quickly looked away, her hand loosening. "Ummm... make up could be... I mean... if it'lltake a while I-I'd rather not make you wait. We could... clothes shop, too? If that's okay? and there's a good music store around here..."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori streeeeetches out before continuing on the way, finally pull the hood down and turning her music off, which was at a reasonable level for once even! "Not everyone grows up knowing how to apply any of it from the getgo, besides they'd probably know tricks you won't pick up on your own without help and they're supposed to know tone matching better to boot. What's wrong with asking for help?" She adjusts the strap of her bag and heads out, seeming happy enough, even if she looks tired.

She makes a dismissive gesture with one hand at the mention of not doing makeup, "Nono, not at all not at all, we're going because that's what the trip was for originally and I won't have any complaints." There's a pause, then she adds, "Unless you really don't want to, that's you, not me though!"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, smiling. "Then... then I'd like to... if... if that's okay. Thank you." And... it would take a while! Unfortunately. But she picked it up quickly and went a bit over board. Pretty much buying whatever they told her to get. Once they wiped off the make up, she'd also find that... unmei had a rather natural beauty to her.

Totally not like her body was magically altered to make her appear prettier. Noooooo. Totally natural.

So really, they didn't have to do much to get her looking cute. A little eye liner, some blush(though she had a natural blush that her embarrassment brought along in droves.) By the end, Unmei was walking out, practically spinning with excitement as they walked. "T-that was so amazing d-did you see me I actually looked good I don't tihnk I've ever looked good!" She practically squealed, before taking Yuzuki's hand and hauling her towards the next place, the... food court area? "Here. I know we were there a while, so choose whatever you like. My treat."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori doesn't seem to mind the wait. She picks up a few pointers of her own really, though for the most part, she finds a comfortable seat nearby, slips her headphones over one ear and listens and maybe even dozes a touch as Unmei is taught and sold things! She also picks up a few things of her own, though hers was mostly eye shadow and lipstick, maybe part of an attempt at a new stage look? As they're leaving, she shakes her head a few times and stifles a sleepy yawn, "Hm, do you remember all of that? There was a lot there, if you need help let me know?"

She's not away of any of these change things! Instead she mostly just thinks the girl was probably sheltered. "I need to get some stuff for my hair while we're out too, should probably do that before I forget. Turns out being in the club atmosphere isn't always good for it!" And she can provide some tips for Unmei to help with the frizziness too! Maybe at least. Then there's the offer of food, "Huuuh- I like unagi, but really I'm open to all kinds of food! What do you like?" Beat, "Either way I eat a lot. I think it's my body's way of making up for the lack of sleep."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Oh, yes, I'm good at picking up new information! It's, uhhh, my talent." She grinned none the less at her, giving a soft giggle. She paused for a moment when she caught sight of one of the workers, before going to a stand. "Two order of large unogi," she orders, handing over the money.

"Oh, but you have such pretty hair!" She said with a big grin. Honestly, she was already looking a lot better. Make up. And with yuzuki there, she'd slouched less. Her clothes were still a bit loose, but they weren't so bad anymore. "You should sleep more, if you can. I can understand, though. I eat a lot too, heh heh."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori settles down at a convenient seat once they've gotten their food, nodding quickly, "I don't know too many people who ick up information super quickly, but we all do kind of learn on the fly right?" Like learning to use a sword, based on memories of your own, that aren't your own! That works right? "Thanks by the way." She offers, holding up her order.

She does mentally note the sitting up straight thing mentally, but doesn't comment on it, figuring it would ruin any confidence the girl's gotten since they've started! "I'd sleep more, but then I'd have to give up either maintaining my grades in school, which won't happen or giving up music, which makes maintaining those grades tolerable. I'll make up for it later, I'm sure." She shrugs, "I do back off of the music if it's getting too tiring though."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, giving her a big grin. "I've been lucky. I'm not really... talented at anything. But I get passable in a lot of things. It's really useful sometimes. Other times it just gets me punched in the face," she said with a light sigh. "Huh? What? N-no! Ishould be thanking you! You did so much for me today!"

She took a small bite of hers, blinking. "Soooo... this... is eel, right? I've honestly never had it. And that's good. grades are important! If you want to go to college and get a good job, you'll need good grades for the future," she said with a big nod.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori rolls her shoulders and head back and forth a few times before relaxing in again, she seems like she's just woken up even if she's been awake a while. There's a pause and she asks, "Why were you punched in the face?" There's a beat and a murmured, "I don't think I've ever been flat punched." She kind of zones out, then shakes her head and focuses. "Happy to do it." she leans over and nudges the other girl, "But seriously, how did you get punched in the face?"

After, she's asked about food. "Yep, eel, I don't know what kind specifically." She scowls, pulling her free to search it out now that she's said that. Whiel searching she nods, "I want to do well because it's expected of me, but also so I have options. I can't just expect to make it big in music right away right?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "W-what? No! I was just using that as an example. When people get mad at me, that's all. Like, well, some people got violent, but most didn't. They just... mostly tried to cut me down." She mumbled and eyed her meal, a frown forming on her face. "Some people get... very hostile when they don't tihnk you've earned what they have."

She nodded. "Oh, that makes sense. I mean realistically, your chances of making it big are in the single digits of percentages. Possibly in the zero point digits. Unless you already know some people who are famous and can help you out. A backup plan would be smart."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori nods slowly and gives the girl a curious look again, wondering just what she's done to warrant those kind of reactions from anyone. "If someone throws a punch or anything even resembling it, or tries to uh, cut you down, let me know." She holds an arm up and flexes, clearly a joke, "I'll hold them upside down or something."

Joking aside, she nods and says, "Probably not that low, not for a decent fanbase at least. If I'm looking for the superstar thing, then yeah, super low. I'll never be a pop idol or anything like that though- even if I wanted to."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama gave a little snort. "Oh, those days are behind me now. I've had a bit of bullying since coming here, but it has mostly just been emotional. The physical attacks are..." For a moment, she smiled. It wasn't a nice smile. "I imagine I could handle them a lot better now." She then yelped, shaking her head. "B-but I'd rather not have to do anything like that! I think this will help. all of your help."

She nodded. "so you just want to become popular enough to survive? That's... there's honor in that."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori watches Unmei closely now and asks, "Did you used to get into a lot of fights back in-" she drums her fingers, "Back home?" she tilts her head to the side as though looking for scars, "Nothing wrong with a fight if there's a reason for it, but I still wonder what kind of trouble you got into."

She shrugs, not seeming too put off by it, she figures a fight's a fight, whether it be with a kid of a monster so she shouldn't say too much. "It's not about honor, I just like doing music and I'm happy others are enjoying it."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Yeah. All the time. I wasn't the... most popular girl back there." She took another small bite. "Probably why my parents didn't want anything to do with me." She gave another shrug. "My own fault, really. Didn't know how to defend myself then. I always let myself be the victim. I'm not doing that any more."

She grinned up to her. "Maybe after this, I could come by? Hear some of your music? I'd love to know what kind of things you do, Yuzuki. I bet it's amazing."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori glances over and asks, "You don't really think that do you? Or did something happen to make you think that?" Seeming genuinely surprised that someone's parrents would kick them out for not being popular. She's sure there's more to the story, but at the same time... 5r 5r "I'm at the school most days- after school that is. Stop by, I'm usually working on new stuff! I'd be happy to share it with you!"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Of course. If you just... sit there and take it, what incentive is there for them to stop?" she asked with a shrug. "I mean, that's what people do. Some people do. And if you just sit there and take it, you... will never stop them." She glared down at her food. "I was a lot weaker back then. I didn't see much point in fighting back. Now... I know sometimes you have to fight. If you want things to change."

She nodded, grinning. "I'll come by tomorrow after class then, okay?" She then glanced to the food. "I... think I'm done. Want to get to go containers?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "Fighting isn't always the answer-" she stops, realizing that she tends to just barrel in, but there's usually a pretty clear distinction here!

She scowls, thinking to herself before replying, "That isn't to say you should just take the abuse, but there's other options, right?"

The suggestion that she'd be stopping by after class gets a smile and a nod from the girl, "Sure sure, you're going to stop by right after, or after clubs? You've got my number so just text me when you're on the way over?" She takes a bite of her food and settles in lazily for the moment. "Maybe I'll get you to do some audio clips to mix in. Those are always fun."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, glancing down and idly spinning her fork around it. "Yeah. But never fighting is..." She was quiet for a long moment. Then looked up.

"Yuzuki, you have a dream, right? Something... you want more than anything? Hypothetically... if someone came and told you they could make your dream a reality, proved they could... but you had to fight for it? Would you do it? I mean, would you see something like that worth fighting for?"

She then nodded. "After clubs. If I miss them... well, I'll probably get in trouble. I'd feel stupid, then, heh heh."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori drums her fingers against the bench as she lounges there lazily. "I guess it depends on what you're calling fighting. I think you can talk it out with most things though." Beat, "Well most things that can communicate back at least."

She sits up, then leans forward while giving Unmei an appraising look, "Do you mean something like a fairy godmother, or Faust's deal?" What, she's well learned! "If someone told me they could give me my dream, but I'd have to fight for it, I'd ask what they thought I was already doing. Or do you mean a different kind of fight?"

"After clubs? I can probably wait around."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked and then broke into a small flurry of giggles. "I-I guess more f-fairy godmother," she said through her giggles, hands over her mouth. "And I don't know. Just... fight? Do what they say? And if you stopped, you'd lose your dream? I don't know. It's just hypothetical."

Pin, meanwhile, was glowering. 'You think I'm a FAIRY? GRANDMOTHER?!!!'

'Well, you are old, wrinkled and sparkly.'

'I AM NOT WRINKLED!'

She snickered some more. "Yeah. But sometimes you can't talk. Sometimes... people won't listen. They just don't think you're worth listening to. That you're too young, or stupid, or... something. some reason they can tune you out."

"And yeah, after clubs would be best."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori holds her hands up and says, "I'd ask why go for something with a time limit then." There's a shrug and she adds, "I'd rather just work for what I've got." She watches Unmei before asking, "What was your dream? You've danced around it before, so you had to have had one."

She twirls her finger and says, "Then make them listen, ignore them and find someone who will. I mean... that's not always an option, I understand, but what's the price at that point?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked and then shrugged. "I don't know. Had one once. A goal. I guess. But... not really any more. Some dreams don't happen. Because you can't make them happen. Or others won't let them happen. Or they're just impossible." She gave a shrug, idly playing with her food. "I guess... to... be liked? Or something?" she said half heartedly. "I just... was mostly curious what you'd see as... worth fighting for."

She then blinked and nodded. "E-exactly! Just leave them behind, right? If they won't hear what you have to say, then why put up with them? That's perfect!"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori rests her elbows on the table and props her head up on her free hand. "So what dream was it? Something like dreaming of being a muppet? You'd make a cute Kermit." There's a moment that passes and she adds quickly, "That joke may be too obscure." Before huffing and taking a bite of eel to cover it. There's a few moments of thought, then she asks, "Why wouldn't yo ube liked? And there's plenty to fight for and plenty of ways to do it. You'd want to be more precise I think."

She shakes her head and says, "It's situational! I don't like giving up unless I see no other way out." Beat, "I mean... I have to beat my head through a wall before I give up."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama snickered softly, a hand to her mouth. "It's not easy being green. Though I don't think I could pull off the look. And I don't know. It's just..." She frowned and looked at her food. "I don't know. It's... hard to say." She swirled her plate around. "I mean. I thought it was impossible. I guess. But now I feel like... I'm making it? Sorta? I just..." She took another deep breath. Why did it have to be so hard? "I think I just wanted a second chance. To be... someone else. You know? To try again? And I feel I'm getting it but... it feels like I have to fight a lot, too? And sometimes I worry if it's worth it. But... I'm also terrified to stop fighting? You know? I'm sorry, I'm not making much sense, am I? And yeah. I guess being... liked is a vague wish. Huh?"

She gave a light chuckle. "Do you often beat your head through a wall? And would you do it? What would you do, what would you fight, if it meant you would be guaranteed success in your dreams? To become the musician you want?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori gnaws idly on the stick, having run out of eel, "If it's hard to say I can wait? Though I will admit my curousity's getting the better of me now." She taps her chin and asks, "Astronaut maybe? I know that kind of job is super hard to get into, especially since we're not doing many missions as a planet right?"

She tilts her head to one side at the mention of a second chance. "You're not making much sense, no, I'm sorry. Uh, I know that some people do cut and run, I can't say I know the need, but I understand the concept at least." There's only a brief delay, "What are you running from?"

She thinks about the last question for longer than usual before replying to it with, "I don't usually need to beat through a wall." Nevermind that she has a built in magic for breaking walls even! "What's the fun in a guaranteed dream? Isn't earning it part of the deal?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "I'm not really... I don't... I don't know? It's just kinda... there's no... real... way to get it? I mean, to say it's like it and that you can..." She shook her head. Then... it clicked. Of course! It was so obvious! Why didn't she think of that? It would technically be true! "W-when I was... younger it was..." She squirmed. "I wanted to be a princess..." And her cheeks flared. "Silly, right?"

She glanced down. "I'm not running at all, anymore. I mean, not as many... bad people here. But like... sometimes... but yeah..." She was clear as mud. "So, ummm, hair now?"

She nodded. "R-right. some dreams. But some dreams can either... be done or they can't be done. Right? And it'd be a lot less stressful."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head slowly and says, "If this is about becoming a princess, that's... probably a harder dream than most, but with some creative flexibility I bet you could get there." She shrugs, missing the idea. "I guess it's not that silly though, I know that's a thing right?"

She seems more confused by Unmei's reaction than the actual revelation. "There are still bad people here, you should be careful, but uh- what happened? IF you want to talk I mean."

Finally she nods and shrugs, "Hair stuff, let's go?" Figuring maybe she'll wear the other girl down! Not really, she's terrible at digging for information subtley.
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked and snorted. "No. It was a silly dream and impossible. But... a part of me... made it? I think?" She sighed and... glanced down and... "Yuzuki I'm... not sure if you noticed I mean, we've only met a few times but... my home life is a bit..." She took a slow breath. "It's not nice. I... never told you I was... adopted... did I?"

She then nodded. "Right, hair stuff," she said with a smile, getting a to go contrainer for her food. Lunch, yay!
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori points down the road to a store while she listens, leading the way. "A part of you made it?" Sounding confused at that kind of statement, but the rest of it gets a somewhat awkward silence as she tries to remember if and how many times she put her foot in her mouth. Too late now! "You didn't mention that. Huh." She glances over and pats the girl, "Doesn't change things right this moment though right? You're still a friend." Well, that's good enough for now. She's kind of terrible at this.

Brushing herself off, she throws away the remaining sticks and stretches out, working her arms a few times, then even doing some brief stretches. Capping it all off with a yawn. "If you ever want someone to talk at, let me know right"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, smiling to her. "Uh huh." Upon the pat, she moves in a little closer, nudging her shoulder lightly against the girl. She looked up. "I... ummmm..." She chewed on her lower lip. "... I was... recently adopted. This... year. Actually. It's why I'm here."

'Careful, Unmei. Say too much and she'll need to be removed.'

'I know. I'll be careful.' Still, she struggled with the words. She wanted to tell someone so bad. To vent. To scream it. Yet she had to pick each word carefully. Not say too much. "My... parents didn't want me. Hadn't... wanted me for years. In fact. But it got... a lot worse lately. A lot... worse. It's why they got rid of me."

She was silent for a few moments. "My... current parents don't... really... want me either. They tolerate me but... they don't... really care about me." Yet she still called them parents. "It's... more a sense of... obligation. Than anything else. They're like... family. So they can't just let me live on the street, you know?" She had to bite her tongue. It wasn't all true, it was close, though. "But it's... why I sometimes... I'm sorry... I just can't always... think. Of what I want to say. Without... struggling. You know?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori blinks at the girl moving in closer. She puts the arm around her in a hug and says, "This month huh? Well, congratulations? I think?" She scowls, "I uh.... am not sure how to be supportive other than hugs in regards to this. I'm sorry."

She doesn't let go of the hug unless it seems like Unmei tries to wriggle out of it though. "I'm... honestly sorry to hear that." That's about all she can think of in regards to her comment about both her parents and the adoptive parents.

"Well, I like having you around, so that counts right?" She smiles and squeezes the hug gently, "So don't think you're not wanted by anyone at least, right?" She pauses, that sounded bad too and she looks like she's grimacing a bit.
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, closing her eyes and moving slightly into the hug. "I... I think this helps. Having you say that. Having you just... want... to be near me? I think? I... I like that."

'Don't tell her too much, Clotho.'

'I won't.'

'If you tell her why they didn't want you, she'll leave you too.'

There was a low start from the girl. "Things are better now, though. I mean, back home I just... had to hear it. all the time. It hurt. But now it doesn't hurt as much. When it hurts. And...and I made a friend. A good friend. Who... likes me. And... and helps. Me. With this stuff. Sorry." She gave a light chuckle. "I sound weird, don't I? I'm sorry. Thank you. Yuzuki. I'll try not to be such a downer all the time, okay? so! Ummm..." She stopped by the beauty store, motioning inside. "W-what kind of shampoo do you like? Do you dye your hair?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori notes the lean into the hug and after a moment turns to give the girl a proper hug. "I'm glad it helps, really." She begins to gently rubs Unmei's back while saying softly, "I'm serious, if you ever need to talk, just call me or come to me. I'm pretty solid that way." What with being an earth-y mage-y type. She holds the hug as long as the other girl wants, either way.

She gently pats Unmei at the comment that she shouldn't be a downer and says, "Don't let it drag you down, but don't worry about leaning on me either alright!" Then she adds, "You sound a bit weird, but that's okay. I mean, weird's the norm around here I think."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nods rapidly. "Y-yes! it helps... more than I can say." Pin wasn't happy about it. Still, she relaxed against the hug, even gingerly reaching up to hug her back. She then smiled up at her. "Thanks. For... doing this with me. I never really had any girl friends back home who... I could do this with. And my mom..." She gave a shudder. "Oh no. Even asking her somehting like this would have ended... poorly for me." She shuddered. "Thank you. For everything."

She nodded. "And I'll try my best to be normal weird!" She giggled and then reached out, gently... brushing yuzu's hair back a little. "I... ummmm... I'd thought about dying my hair a few times."

Pin snorted. 'Of course. You liked the changes when you transformed, right?'

She then reached up and brushed her own white hair. "Do you think I should try it? For a little bit?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori smiles and gently guides the two out of the middle of the sidewalk so that they're not blocking things. She starts to say something else, then stops when Unmei mentions not having any girl friends. Which she interperates wrong, "Well I mean, if that's why you're having a hard time talking, that's... definitely not a problem." She shrugs, not explaining that she likes girls, figuring it's clear enough.

She then shakes her head, "Just be yourself, you don't need to try and be something to appeal to me, I wanted to help you because I felt like it. You, not some ideal version right?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "N-no. I'm just not good at talking. I-I'm happy we're friends now." Completely missing her mis understanding. She then squeezed her hand a bit. "Yeah. I... I'm not used to having friends like this. I mean, I had a few boy friends back home but... well, try talking to them about make up sessions or hair dyes and that's a good way to get punched," she said with a snort. Then blinked. Wait, no. "Emotionally punched, I mean."

She then blushed. "T-thanks. so... you think dying it would be a bad idea, then?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks briefly confused and asks, "So you weren't made fun of for liking girls?" Then she mistakes the boy friend comment, tright until she says they punched her, which gets a completely different reaction. "Any boys here punch you and you come to me." She pauses, "Uh- I said that before too didn't I?" She then shakes her head. "But, yeah. Don't let them do that, that's bad." A keen eye for the obvious.

Then she looks confused, "Wait, dying what?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked, then nodded. "What? Liking... oh. Yeah. I was made fun of all the time for it," she muttered. "To be honest, it's part of the reason my parents wanted nothing to do with me." She then urked. Wait, was that too much? What if she gave it away?! Were girls not allowed to be friends here? "Ummm, y-you don't mind,do you?"

'... I get the feeling you two are having two different conversations.'

'... Huh?'

'Nothing, Unmei.'

"Dying my hair. Maybe blue, like yours! It's so pretty..."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "Definitely not a good thing. My parents have been pre-... well. If you need support come to us right?" She looks up at the sky and considers before asking, "Wait, boys were picking on you for it too?" Sounding actually surprised. Maybe she's been spoiled for that kind f behavior. The... positive bad side? She's not sure.

"Huh, well if you want to dye it, it can look nice. I had my hair white with red in it for a while, but I usually just leave it it's natural color."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times. Oh my gosh. Yuzuki had figured it out, hadn't she? Well, she was pretty obvious... she sighed and gave a nod. "Oh yeah. I mean, at first. The first few I revealed it to would pick on me, I got beat up a few times for it. But nothing too badly. I then... hid it. For a few years and... and let my parents think I was... normal. They were honestly the worst. Always telling me I was... well... But I couldn't keep... hiding it... forever... you know?"

She nodded. Then grinned. "Would you ummm... help me? With it? Your hair is a lot nicer looking than mine."
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori totally has figured out the wrong thing, but that's not a problem, is it? She scowls and says, "Really? I... can understand why you wouldn't want to be near your famiyl then." She sighs and ruffles Unmei's hair, "But you don't have to worry about that anymore right? You've got a friend with me at least, I'm sure you'll make plenty more once you start reaching out and talking to people." She gives the girl a really tight hug, she's actually quite strong nad adds, "I should introduce you to Haruna, she's a friend, she's super nice!" beat, "Usually."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Y-yes. That'd be nice. Making new friends. Don't... tell her, though, please? Ummmm... it's still kind of a... personal... thing..." she said with a nervous smile. "Just, err, between girlfriends... right?" Oh gosh she was just going to make it worse. Also, her cheeks were burning from the hug. It was a good thing that yuzuki was probably straight. Otherwise Unmei would totally get the wrong idea!

"And... so... would you help me?" Also, oh gosh her hair was so ruffled now! D:
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks confused and asks, "Don't tell her you're into girls? She's going out with one, it's fine." Well that may take some of the mystery out of it. Though she does leave who she's dating open and Hannah is violent enough! Terrible jokes aside, she then laughs and says with a playful nudge, "Aren't you jumping the gun a bit there Unmei?" In regards to the girlfriends comment! She then gets a contemplative look! She's not considering it is she?

"Of course, I'm happy to help you! What kind of friend would I be if I didn't right?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times. Wait, into gi-- Her eyes widened slightly.

'Oh my gosh she thinks I was talking about being a lesbian!'

'Well, it'd make sense.' Pin said.

'Oh my gosh! OH MY GOSH! She doesn't know I'm a... wait. I'm not figured out! Yay! Wait. Jumping the--' Oh gosh her cheeks could not have gotten redder and she stared. "N-no! I didn't mean... back home, girl friend can... can be used to determine a girl, who is a friend. Like boy friend can be a boy, who is a friend. I-I didn't mean I was asking you out or anything!" she shrieked, flailing her hands. "I-I've never even been on a date! I-I wouldn't know the first thing about dating! I-I'd never ask you out!" Then, blinked. "Wait, no, that came out wrong, I-I meant, I'm... err... ummm..." Time to clear up any mis conceptions. She took a deep breath and... Under her clothing, her gem sparkled just a little, glimmering gold. Fortunately it was hidden. "Okay. I'm bi. I like girls and boys. But I am not dating anyone. Nor am I... asking you out. I like you. But... as a friend. I would never do something to jeopardize the friendship you've offered me," she said firmly. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable." Then another deep breath. "And... I didn't... have any girl friends. Friends who were girls. Back home. And my mom wasn't... so... I never had anyone to... do this stuff with. So... it... it means the world to me that you're willing. Thank you."

She then gulped. "You... still will, right?" she asked hopeful like.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks completely confused at this point. There's a bemused expression buried under the confused one at least. "I know about the weird duality thing of it, why not just call them friends? Does it really matter whether they're boys or girls?" The gushing from the girl gets an even bigger bout with confusion from Yuzu. "I didn't... think you were asking me out? I wasn't trying to ask you out?" She pauses and gently nudges her, "I was more thinking that that's why you were picked on." Rubbing the back of her head after, "I figured you weren-" she stops, that sounds meaner as she starts to say it. "Confused isn't a common state for me, but it's alright." Though her insistance for other things now gets her brain working in different directions.

Good news is, she's sleepy and isn't connecting any dots because she doesn't even consider it an issue, why would it be?

"Still help with your hair? Why wouldn't I?" She seems completely lost at this point. Not upset either at least though.
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama lets out a sigh of relief. "Because you might have thought I was flirting with you and that might have made you mad and uncomfortable because, let's be honest, you'd be way out of my league. I mean, you're an upper classman for one!" she said with a giggle and shook her head. "And, err, confusion. Sorry. Thank you for listening to me."

She then took her hand and started going down the aisles and... ".... There are a thousand different dyes. Which dye do I use? How does any of this even work?" she asked, staring.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori seems a bit slow on the uptake, but she comes out and says flirting and it kind of clicks. She begins laughing and after a moment says completely deadpan, "You mean you weren't flirting with me? And here I thought this was a date." She's joking right? She has to be, the fact that right after she says it she gently nudges Unmei again and asks, "What shade did you want? I think we have to get the dye then do the really annoying brush and foil stuff, then wait a while and hope we didn't mess up while causing chemical burns. Because hair dye's kind of nasty stuff I guess?"

She does say in a more normal tone, "You act like I worry about that kind of thing though, the grades thing that is." There's a brief shrug to which she adds on, "I figure being picky's dumb, it's like trying to make music for one specific group right?"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, struggling to contain her blushes. But she was joking. she was sure of it. "I don't know. Sorry. I ummmm... I'd like a light blue. something... sky colored. It was always my favorite color. And maybe something to make it... straighter? I tried letting it flow for a while, but it always got so fuzzy and wild. That's why I have it as a ponytail. My hair is just way too wavy. Is there a way to straighten it?"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori doesn't comment on the blushing, though one gets the distinct feeling hse's considering the best way to tease the girl without hurting her! "You don't know about doing dye? Because we're in the same boat there. It may be best to get some help." She taps her chin, "I...- I don't think I know anyone into that. I know sports-y types, the punchy guy, tall, dark and ca- white haired uh... she bakes, she paints. Maybe Seishi? Hm."

Eventually she shrugs and at the mention of frizzy hair, she points down to other isles, "We could straighten it, but wavey hair can be pretty too. We'll get some nice shampoo and conditioner, a good brush and a few other things."
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked, staring at her. "Wait, you don't? I thought you said you did it white, with red streak? How did you do that without dyeing it?" she asked, staring at her hair. "Magic?" she asked with a joking tone.

She followed the girl. "A good brush? Aren't they all the same? I mean, I just use one I picked up at the dollar store. My shampoo, too. Is conditioner really that important?" Oh by the stars...
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori laughs and holds her hands up, "I paid someone else to do it. That's why I know what it might look like. MAybe." The comment about magic gets a shake of her head, "Nah, no magic hair. I swear I heard I once looked like I was a redhead though."

She glances at the other girl, once more getting a few things that she'd have thought at least other female friends would have helped her out with though remembering what she said. "It can matter, yes. The brush too!"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded and soon... she had all her supplies. She let out a sigh of relief. 'I can just pay them back later, right?'

'Stealing from them isn't so bad. They need you, after all. And they get a sizable bonus for it.'

She nodded, staring at the supplies... then... grinning to her. "Okay! so, what things did you need? You said you wanted some stuff for your hair too, right?" She was definitely looking a lot better. Happier. Standing taller. A grin that reached her eyes. And that tension she always carried seemed gone.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head, hair flipping about briefly until she smooths it all out. "I won't be doing anything with my hair this time, uh dye wise. I need a few things though. I'm almost out of shampoo." She gestures to the idle they're bound for later. The lack of tension and overall confidence does get a gentle hug from the girl as she slips past though. "You know, I should get some ties, ribbons and a few other things since we're here though." She holds her finger up and begins to wander off, seeming like she's just wanting to grab a few things.
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, leaning in close to the hug. She grinned and nodded, happily, patiently waiting as she got all her things. Her bag was getting full! but... she looked so happy as she did it. Like a kid on christmas morning. If only her mother could see how...

She shuddered then, her gaze lowering. No, it wouldn't make any difference. They made that perfectly clear. The ties, ribbons and other things got her staring, though. "Long hair is so much fun, isn't it? So many things you can do with it," she said with a soft fin and happy, content sigh.

Once everything was done, she took yuzuki's hand and, once again, started hauling her off. To dresses?

NO! The music store! "You like this stuff, right?" She grinned wide to her.
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori isn't so dense that she's miss the other girl suddenly looking less sure of herself. She bumps into her and says, "Come on, come on! We're not done quite yet! No reason at all to look so down!" She slings an arm around the other girl and points to a clothing store, "We've got a few we should be stopping at!" She offers, "Find you a few nice outfits to show off with right?"

As for long hair, that gets a shrug, "I have to wear it in a bun a lot, or a lot of other things. It's nice, but there are times I strongly consider just cutting most of it off and going with a pixie or something." Then there's a music shop and she says, "Nono, this is your day out, I've got all I need right now! I told you, it's all digital, digital!"
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, then... "well... okay." She said with a smile then. Her cheeks turned a little redder. "Ummmm... Yuzuki... errr... I'm not... really good with fashion. You'll help, right?" She gave a shy smile. It wasn't as timid or scared as before. As if she knew she'd say yes.

"A pixie? Cutting it off? W-what? But you're hair is so pretty and long! I-I know it's a lot to maintain, but trust me, having it short is just awful! My parents used to practically make me have a crue cut and it was the worst thing ever! Easy to maintain but you could NEVER do anything with it!"
Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori smiles, "When I was younger, I convinced my mother to let me do a mohawk very briefly. It hung to one side." Beat, "That went away as soon as I could. I don't know, I might go shorter, the pixie look is so cute isn't it?" She stops at the first shop, hanging at the door, "Of course I'll help! I have my own style though so uh, let's find a happy middle ground. I'm sure my taste is warped by now."

Back to hair, "A crue cut? I mean I've seen a few girls pull it off, but that's usually one you give to guys when you're being lazy or they want it super short." She stops, finger to chin as she thinks. About clothes mostly, but the timing!
Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama urked, stumbling a bit. "M-my parents were just lazy. They were afraid I'd get it messed up and they wanted to make it last as long between cuts as possible and they didn't care that it upset me or anything," she said rapid fire, trying to explain it away.

She then nodded, grinning. "Let's... try a bunch of different things, okay? Please? Can you help me figure out what my sizes are? I usually just... guess." Hence why all of her clothes were so baggy. "I don't know what the pixie look is... like... tinker belle?" she blinked, then nodded. "I guess it's cute. But i just love long hair. So much you can do..."
