2037/Dance of the Behemoth

It's the weekend, it's a cloudy day with the promise of rain to come and Yuzuki's out on the strip looking for replacement guitar strings and maybe a few other things. The place is crowded, there's plenty of people around and it's been a relatively slow week for the girl, what with having missed the one attack she'd heard about. It's hard not to hear about a giant dog rampaging around. Well and the girls climbing out of the water and being a minor nuisance, spreading darkness aside.
Exiting the store with her purchase in hand, her next focus after placing the items in her school bag are to make her way out back into the crowd while contemplating doing the food thing. Maybe she can find a place without a huge line. Or maybe she should just put it off until home, she does have some stuff there! This internal debate happens right in front of the store.
While all of this is happening, something lurches out of an alleyway, looking almost like it crawled from the shadows, landing first on a huge clawed hand that shook the ground. A horned head, skin drawn taut over a beastial skull and framed in a wild man peers out, the only light in it's empty eyes are two pinpricks of sickly green light. The second arm soon follows and with a roar lurches into the crowd. Leaking shadows, people around it begin to stumble and fall while the rest scatter. Pressing tight against the wall, she looks at the dark creature and huffs, it's the weekend! She ducks into an alcove and reaches out. Clenching her fingers around something, she calls out, "Grasp the cord of fate!" and emerges from her hiding place in her orange, layered armor, a sword trailing behind her in one hand as she charges after the thing, flintlock in hand to get it's attention with a customary greeting at this point of a heavy earth spike to slam into it!

Tsubasa was in the Section Two HQ when this happened, where sensors went of blazing as soon as they picked up this magical signature. Moments later, a chopper is flying overhead and Tsubasa jumps out, still wearing her school uniform. As soon as she leaves the chopper, she begins to sing.
"Imyeteus Ame no Habakiri Tron~"
In a flash of blue magic, the Symphogear forms around her, and she wields a Katana. She twists herself around to be going down Katana-first, her weapon pointed straight at this horned head.

The shot to it's side gets it's attention, mostly long enough for it to pull the spike free and fling it at Yuzuki, forcing her to duck out of the way as it shatters against the stone behind her. Tightening her grip on her sword, the flintlock is set back behind her and she comes to a skidding halt, using the shift in momentum to do a spinning strike, trying to build as much force into the huge blade as she can. The creature rears back, trying to get away from the biting blade, only resulting in a slash across it's arms. This does put it in a good place for Tsubasa though as the blade penetrates into it's shoulder. The eyes focus on the other girl, then a clawed hand reaches up and tries to grab her, looking to fling her away like she's nothing more than an annoyance. The thing is dripping black, each spatter spreading more of that darkness for a moment before it turns into dust and blows away, taking the darkness with it.
Yuzuki jumps back in surprise, calling up, "H-hey! A heads up so I don't accidentally skewer you would be good!" Before she raises her sword above her with both hands and dashes forward, aiming low to sweep at the creature's legs while it's trying to deal with the girl above!

Tsubasa doesn't respond to Yuzuki's requests for a 'heads up' she's too busy getting flung away and getting a rough landing on the ground. She rolls with it and gets up, and blue swords of energy start to form in the air as it becomes clear that Tsubasa isn't going to stop singing any time soon. She maneuvers herself to a better position before those blades come crashing down, each of them aimed for the creature they're fighting.

Feels her blade dig into the creature's leg only to stop with jarring force. Shaking her hand, she pulls the sword free viciously and tries to swing at the same place, though the creature lurches out of the way, already starting to feel the impacts from both of the girls' assaults. Seeing as how the thing is big enough to throw, she doesn't spare a look when she calls out, "Still alive?" only to be met with more singing. The blue energy swords manage to pin it in place through one of it's legs, another into it's back, though it now seems to be enraged, tugging against the blade through it's legs trying to reach Yuzuki.
Yuzuki's response is laughter from behind her mask, this time having taken on the appearance of a strange stone mask with fangs. She stomps her foot down, creating a pillar of stone, knocking the creature in the chin and causing it to stagger for a moment from the force, which she uses to do an overhead swing. It digs the creature and sheers off part! Though the inky blackness within, oozing out doesn't seem too phased by it yet. The green light is more visible now and it almost looks like it's a being controlled from within!

And then, Tsubasa starts to run up a wall, kick herself off and throw her sword into the air. When in the air it grows to not just be larger than herself, but to be taller than plenty people's homes. This massive blade floats in mid-air for a moment. And then, Tsubasa kicks it, and with her magic to aid that kick, that sword comes barreling down at a high pace towards the staggered creature. Far enough from Yuzuki that it shouldn't cause any real problems. All the while, Tsubasa keeps up her singing.

Hakuomaru watches the blade crash into the creature, further pinning it into place. It struggles in vain though, reaching up with both hands, trying to pull at the blade weakly. She hefts her sword up and traces her fingers along the blade, energy forming into the glowing molten rock encasing the blade. Twisting the blade and hefting it back, she raises it to the right and swings down at an angle, the blade sinking into the creature before seeming to detonate, throwing the samurai girl away! She does land on her feet, impressively enough and the creature, now impaled, missing a good portion of it's chest and leaking that shadowy stuff from all over collapses forward before blowing away in the wind.
Yuzuki pulls a piece of cloth from her belt and drags it along the blade, removing any remnants of the shadow before throwing the cloth into the air and igniting it with a snap of her fingers, which is about the extent of her fire magic currently! Setting the sword point down in the ground after, she adjusts straps on her armor, then makes her way over to the fallen people, taking a momen to check on each of them while calling out to the girl, "Do you have a name, a DJ name, do you speak Japanese? English maybe?"
- Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
Tsubasa's sword returns to its normal size when she jumps down next to Hakuomaru. She's singing in Japanese, though the singing slowly dies down, so presumably she does speak Japanese. "I'm the wielder of Ame no Habakiri. That's all you need to know." She answers her brief ally in this fight, and looks upwards, flagging down the chopper that still hangs overhead. "I'm with the Mobile Disaster Response Corps, Section Two." There's an intentional coldness, the girl clearly seeks to keep her distance.

Hakuomaru slowly claps and says, "Neat, I should totally start introducing myself like I'm a robot, I know my mask shows up like one occasionally." She adjusts the mempo in question and keeps it securely in place. "Hold on, hold on! Let me try!" She draws her sword and says in a flat monotone, "Halt villain. I am the weilder of the Mayonakamatsuri. I will defeat you." She then waves the sword around and sheaths it once more. Brushing her hands off, she tugs the armored gloves off and says, "I'm Hakuomaru, I hit bad guys with a sword and protect the innocent when I'm not doing the music thing. It's ni-.... something to meet you."
- Tsubasa Kazanari has posed:
"This is not a game." Tsubasa answers Hakuomaru before grabbing onto the rope ladder that's been extended down from the chopper as it approaches. "Take it seriously, or you'll die." Then, the chopper hauls in the rope ladder and starts to fly off, taking Tsubasa with it. She doesn't bother with extending such niceties.

Hakuomaru calls up cheerfully, "I know! I've died before, I'm a reincarnation!" to the dying part. She begins laughing again, because it is kind of funny. Glancing around, she ducks out of the way, dropping her henshin and finding her stuff to make her way out before questions start being asked. She's always worried some nerd will notice her in the background of a bunch of events or something.
