2039/Gull Gloom

Gull Gloom
Date of Scene:	16 October 2016
Location:	Hannah's Apartment
Synopsis:	Ayana's visiting Hannah. Haruna's visiting Hannah. Ayana ... drains Haruna? This was not what anyone expected out of the day.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
The door handle jiggles. Unlock. Haruna Kurosawa steps into the apartment. She has a briefcase. She wasn't working WPS today- Hannah knows that much- so it's probably related to her coffee shop project.

She looks tired. Also. There's a white- something sticking out of the bottom of the briefcase.

Corvus is with her. Corvus is in human form when he walks in, a young boy just a year or two younger than Haruna with white hair and currently formalish attire- but that lasts all of twelve seconds because with a flourishing poof of Precure Mascot magic, he's back to bird form perching on Haruna's shoulder.

"Honnnney, I'm hommmmmmme~" she sings tiredly as she lumbers into the living room area. Then a pause.

Look to Hannah. Looks at Ayana. Looks at Hannah. Looks at Ayana.

She gives a mock sourpuss look. "Your snuggle tank better not be empty because I'm going to get plenty tonight." she insists. "Cuz. I got a thing~"

"Wait. Isn't that..." asks Corvus.

Another pause. Haruna finishes Corvus's sentence- "Ayana-chan!" she says.

"Ayana-chan! You're okay and not-only-fox!" she says. A pause. "Is something wrong? Or.. this just... a visit?" she asks with sudden concern.

"Sorry I'm late!" she says. "I had. Things. to do. and. the stop off. For the thing." she says.

"Things." says Corvus.

It's like her favorite word!

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Suddenly, there's a Corvus and Gull! Hannah gives a big ol' yawn, the effects of snuggling a wiggly fox! A single hand rises, and a sleepy smile!

"Haruna, my beautiful birdie, my snuggle tank is always on empty when you're around! Because I can't have enough~!" Comes the CEO soon splitting a grin and wink!

"Now come here and give this poor foxy idiot a hug!" She motions to Ayana, giving two foxy ears a scritch!

Hannah does cough though. A 'glance't o Ayana then to Haruna. It's not her place to say, a small nod to both, and she'll let the fox herself field that one.

"Wait, a thing?" Hannah's voice audibly picks up in excitement. Then she realizes there's a poor Gull back, perhaps without food! "H...hey! Have you eaten yet you two? I've got some leftover stew!" She can't quite rise just yet. No, there's a fox blocking her!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana had mostly fallen asleep by this point. Having the door open sets her ears twitching, but it's the voice that breaks through. She opens her eyes, only to close them immediately when Hannah starts to pet her ears again.

Then she shakes her head free and rolls off of Hannah. There's a soft thump as she lands on the floor. Bleerily, the hoodied teen looks up at Haruna. Black hair, black ears. Not that Haruna's known her any other way. Well, except as a fox.

"Ugh," she says, upon seeing Gull. Corvus gets a look as the fox debates her hunger level. "You fed me when I came over," Ayana points out to Hannah quietly. "But I can always eat more. But umm. I forgot you have a girlfriend. I should go. You can do tests on me later."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa raises hands. "Woah, hey now, you're always welcome here. Hannah's place. I just crash here~" she says. "Also, I'm harrrrdddly the super jealous type." she insists.

"Maybe a little jealous. Cuz I was out working while apparently snuggling was happening!" she huffs.

She flops down on the couch. "I'm hungry!" she says. "Super hungry. I almost totally ate Corvus."

She flips open the brief case and remoooooooooves. Well it's connected to that white thing that was poking out. It's!--- a Miss White plush! Complete in adorable felt suit and also tiny Raging Tempest gloves. "I had this made at Twin Bells!" she insists.

"Cuz, you know. The Plush Gull is lonely. Super lonely." she insists as she hands it to Hannah over Ayana.

Then she grins and looks down to Ayana and offers a hug. "Tests? What's this about tests? Seriously. What's wrong fox-chan~" she says.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Up goes the fox, and she's trying to flee! Oh no. Oh /no/ that's not happening. Reeeeach, Hannah grabs that hoodie-part and all but drags Ayana back to the couch. Yup, Hannah hasn't been slacking, she's still strong as ever! Down fox!

"You're not going anywhere foxy-fluff. Okay, so. If I were you, I'd tell her. Haruna knows how to get to the bottom of things and won't let it go. Like a very feathery junk yard dog." She advises, before she walks over to Gull. Grab! Sppiiiiin, twirl! A quick dip-smooch, and she's off to the kitchen!

"The jealousy just makes you that much cuter! I love feeling your cheeks all blushing!" Comes Hannah with a cheeky grin. But not before getting Plush White-chan!

Pause. Pauuuuuuse. There's a decidedly un-Hannah-like squee of joy as she hugs it! "BERIGHTBACKGONNASNUGGLEPLUSHIES!" Zooom to her room! Give her a moment, people. That stew is gonna need a sec.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana practically chokes on the zipper of her hoodie as she's dragged back to the couch. Good thing those come with Hannah cuddles or she might be very irritated at this. As is, she merely blinks in confusion and surprise to find herself back where she started.

Rubbing her stocking-clad knees, the kitsune glances up at Gull again, then sighs and looks away. When Hannah runs off, there is a moment she debates trying to flee again. But no, it's futile; Hannah will just track her down again.

So instead, she sighs and looks up at Haruna. "Fine, fine, whatever. Give me your hand," she says, holding hers out palm up.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa softly head titls down at Ayana and frowns some. "So something is wrong." she says. "Look. Hannah-chan's friends are friends of mine and I like to help if I can." she says.

She head tilts and offers her hand. Corvus keeps a side eye over. Just in case this is a mean trick.

Haruna doesn't think this is a mean trick.

She grins at kisses and spins~ Kisses and spins are returned and she watches Hannah run away with the plush~

She looks back to Ayana, and re-holds out her hand because Hannah spins/kisses happened.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah eventually comes back! After a lengthy round of snuggling plushes! For as amazing as they are, she has the real thing here tonight! The device user sneaks to the kitchen as Haruna and Corvus get to work. There's the sound of stew being reheated, iced tea poured, and bowls being filled!

"That's a good foxy!" Calls out Hannah amidst her domestic-izing!

Ayana has posed:
"'Good'," Ayana repeats Hannah's word uncertainly as she takes Haruna's hand. For a moment she just sits there clinging to Gull's fingers faintly. Then, with a sudden jerk, she pulls Haruna towards her with a strong grip. It's not quite Hannah's strength, but Ayana isn't a weakling, and knowing the exact right time to pull someone when they're off guard is sorta her thing.

And as the blonde is pulled towards her, Ayana whispers a word she hasn't found useful in months.

"Gloom."

And there it is: A choking miasma; a cloud of negative energy that engulfs the fox and everything near her, draining energy from the world and supplying it back to Ayana.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa is sitting there waiting as her eyes peek back to the kitchen area and then back to Ayana and it's in that moment that's a perfect time to strike and she's tugged forward and---

Choking cloud of dark energy. She's felt it before. She /thrived/ it in before- she knows what it feels like and she hates it because right off the bat it invokes bad memories. Bad memories of being alone. Bad memories of feeling like no one cares. Bad memories that you'll never see your sister ever again. She's not able to tug herself away from it.

It's awful. But she's been energy drained before.

Corvus however, acts faster because he feels that tingle before it even exists--- he poofs- suddenly into human form and.. "Hiiiiyaaa!" he goes-- shoving Haruna forward, and over the arm of the couch and there's a seagull pile on the floor on the other side as Corvus pushes out of Ayana grip.

"Ow." goes both of them as they clatter to the floor.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
There's a sudden veneer of emerald green around Hannah's apartment, and a burst of wind as both Haruna and Corvus go clattering. A Barrier settles in, and the feeling of Hannah activating Raging Tempest fills the room. Miss White doesn't run in, instead, walking into the room with a vein in her forehead twitching in pure rage.

"AYANA!?" She barks out, frowning as she scans bird and even-more-bird on the floor.

"This house is a no-draining zone, and especially not my girlfriend! Back off before you really make me angry! We're trying to help you!" There's already a ball of wind in her right fist, and she looks itching to use it.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana is utterly unsurprised when Gull is pulled away from her almost immediately. The faint sneer of amusement on her lips is probably just a result of absorbing energy. It's probably not the way she really feels. Probably.

Just like that, the gloom dies, and she's left staring at the rage of Hannah, with Gull and Corvus on the floor behind her.

"'Do you want to drain people?' Then do it.'" She's quoting, and the sneer of amusement is there in her voice, too; oh she's certainly not behaving. "I wanted to drain her. So I did. Your words," she points out.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna mutters. "I'm okay." she says weakly in the barrier. Then she begins to weakly clamber herself upwards by the arm. Corvus pops up too. His white hair is frazzled. He blinks once and frowns.

"But that doesn't answer the question of what's wrong? Do you need energy?" she asks.

Then Ayana says a thing. Then she looks to Hannah and froooowwn. Disapproving Gull is dissapproving. But she says nothing.

She then sighs. "It's okay, Hannah." she says. "I'm fine! Really!" she says.

She does look shaken up still though. Just a little. It's the nervousness to her tone that gives it away.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
All of her anger doesn't quite fade, but Hannah does look slightly gobsmacked by her own words. Up goes Haruna and Corvus. Her sizzling goes from 'vague murder' to 'upset'. Arms finally cross.

"That doesn't mean be an idiot about it. I'm trying to help you, and I'm keeping your secrets. Is it /really/ smart to go making me angry? I'd never betray you, but I'd happily leave a few bumps on your head to keep you straight! So no hurting my girlfriend, okay? Jeez, if you wanted that I'd throw you an underperforming intern." Hannah can be mean.

In the end, though, Hannah tweaks one of those foxy-ears! "You're definitely getting a bath tonight now! Bad fox!"

Then she's over to Gull and Corvus, making sur ethey're steady on their feet.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana winces at the tweak to her ear--it hurts!--then takes a step back and squares her shoulders defiantly. "I'm not being an idiot about it!" Ayana challenges. "You told me she was going to find out anyways. You told me to do it if I want to. It's a safe environment. Even if I did drain her, it wouldn't have killed her, and at worst she'd have fallen asleep on your couch for a few hours--literally the safest place she could possibly be. And now you're scolding me for doing exactly what you said."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa is a little shaken. She's on her feet though. So.

"That didn't answer my question. What's wrong?" she asks. "I mean. You've...always been able to do that. Right?" she asks. "I mean you did it before. Sheesh. Almost a yearish ago." she says. "To me, too!" she says. "Cuz I was here."

"Remember?" she asks.

She does look back at Hannah and frowns a bit, a moment, before looking back. Yeah she didn't like being hit with the bad thinky stuff though.

"...did you loose that ability or something?" she asks.

"I remember things. About... Cute Wolves.." she taps her bottom lip as Corvus leans over and whispers.

"Oh! That's right!" she says.

Pause.

"But why can you do it again?" she asks. "Is it causing you problems?"

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Eyes finally roll. Squint! Hannah lets out a sigh, and with a snap, the barrier ends. "Okay, okay, maybe I should've made some qualifications! I mean, yeah, you're right it's better than elsewhere but..."

A frustrated sigh! "At least /warn/ her, okay? It's /rude/ to drain a friend without asking!" Both hands fly into the air, waving a little. Silly, silly stubborn fox!

She thuds back onto the couch. She's actually huffing a bit. Annoyed Hannah is annoyed!

She also mutters something about stupid wolves! Yup, she's still holding a grudge against said Cute Woof! "So be more careful Ayana! Otherwise I might have to put you over my knee for being a bad fox! Follow the rules of the house when you're here! Cuddles, not draining!"

Ayana has posed:
The kitsune jerks her head back at Hannah's threat, then looks away. "Take what you want. Do what you want. Power is the only thing that matters in this world. Your words. Takashi's words. Everyone's mad at me for doing exactly what they tell me, except Ikiko, who is toos tupid to be mad at me when I actually do something wrong."

Huffily, she stalks towards her boots. "I didn't ask to get this power back. I don't know why the orange went away, or why my gloom is so very, very easy to reach. It was harder, when the orange was here. It felt wrong. Now it feels right again, and everyone's upset with me, and I'm probably going to piss off a god because of it. You're right. I am a bad girl. I wish I could just go back to being a fox."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns. "Power isn't the only thing that matters." she says silently. "Regardless what my silly girlfriend here thinks." she says. "Family. Friends. They matter too." she says.

"You choose what matters to you most." she says. "No one else does." she says. "Hannah. or Takashi." she says.

She moves to sit on the couch and lean against Hannah. For comfort right now.

"I didn't like feeling that without knowing first." she admits to Ayana. "Remembering some stuff I don't like to think about too hard isn't really good for me." she admits.

Corvus sighs and shakes his head. "Gods are fickle people." he says. "Trust me. I know. I was one." he says with a smirk. "Well. Demi-god. God lite. Just a little god." he says, kiddingly.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Sigh. "Come on Ayana! Don't be so stubborn!" She calls to the fox, Hannah flopping back against the couch. "I'm not really mad at you, okay? I just get protective of Haruna because I love her. Come on back, sit down. We still need to get you scanned, remember?"

Oh yes, snuggle time it is. One arm wraps about Haruna's shoulders.

"Yeah. Ayana, at the end of the day, I'm just giving you an opinion. You gotta be true to yourself at the end of the day. No matter what I think."

Ayana has posed:
Ayana hesitates with her boots in hand, staring at the pair for a moment. Then she shakes her head. "I'll come by your labs tomorrow," she says upsettedly. "I think I need to take a walk. Besides, I don't want to see you two cuddling all night when I don't have Ikiko here. Just ... I need to work through some things. Thanks for the stew. I'll see you tomorrow."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns. "Ayana, be well. I'll um. make sure to have some fried chicken when you come to the labs tommrow!" she says. "It'll be really delicious."

"It /is/ really delicious." insists Corvus. Which is strange because he's also technically a bird.

She sighs and looks over to Hannah. "Sorry! I didn't know there was company!" she says. "I could had always found something else to do." she says with a soft frown. "Did I mess things up?" she asks.

"Sorry. Just."

"Reminded. About things." she says.

"Sucked when I was alone. You know?" she asks. "I mean. Really. Really. Alone."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah lets out a groan as she hand-palms. "Fine. Fine! Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow you silly fox. Get it out of your system, we've got a lot to do. Just be careful okay? You're a friend. Don't go and do something stupid." There's honest concern in Hannah's voice. She waits until Ayana's off.

And then, she pretty much collapses on Haruna. "Nah, I was just an idiot. I swear, that girl worries me. Can't tell her the truth without her throwing your own words back at you. If I ddin't like her so much I'd swat her on the head!"

Warm arms wrap around Haruna. "Well you're not alone. Not now. You've got Corvus, so many pretty cure friends, Ayana even if she's a fox-baka, and me. Not gonna happen again. Never!"
