Synopsis:	Nanoha finally meets the new arrival in at Seishou Elementary school, Yuuki Oshiro

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Another day of quiet learning at Seishou Elementary school. As the final bell rings and students begin to clear out to go to their respective clubs or home, Yuuki Oshiro quietly gathers her things, puts them in her bag and slips it over her shoulder. Yuuki is a new student here at Seishou having only arrived in Tokyo at the beginning of this school year. She's not made much effort to try to make friends. Like not at all. In fact she's barely said a thing in class save for answering the Teacher's occasional questions. Beyond that. She's just really there and thats about it.

Quietly she begins making her way out of the classroom. As she makes her way through the hallways she does her best to ease through the crowd making a point to not run into anyone. Occasionally she does bump into people. She gives a big smile to those she bumps into but says nothing. The smile is forced not unlike her desire to remain quiet. Still She does give an "excuse me."

Finally she makes her way outside of the school. She quietly she finds a quiet place to just look at around. The trees are changing color and they are really pretty. Its a peaceful feeling she is taking in. The memories of her father picking her up from school in the fall and walking with her fill her mind. It brings the most authentic smile to her face that she's done in a long while.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
New Student. Nanoha Takamachi is drawn to new students. Arisa and Suzuka are off doing chores for the homeroom when class lets off so this gives her time away. Also. It's good time away because Arisa and Suzuka sometimes don't let up on the 'why are you so tired' and 'why do you run away a lot!' and 'STOP KEEPING SECRETS'. Ugh.

Sometimes. She wishes it was just easy to come out and say- 'I'm a really powerful mage and magical girl and I have a talking ferret!'. The ferret is not with her. Yuuno does not often come to school with her.

Nanoha Takamachi eyes the newer student leaving and purses her lips. Does she know 'forced smiles' and 'forced quietness' when she sees it?

She mostly does.

So she skips out after her- not so much skip as bounce her way through people. Move to the left... a little to the right...

Chestnut brown hair ends up near Yuuki easily enough. Perhaps she's also caught too much up in her thoughts.

"Hey..." says Nanoha. "You're... Yuuki-san. right?" she asks. Everyone introduces themselves to the class at least once- right?

"How are you liking Seishou so far?" she asks with a wider smile.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki is completely lost in thought when Nanoha comes up behind her. Her mind was on the past and the good times she had just a few short years before. She sjust glances down at the ground for a moment, until...

"EEP!" She quickly whips around and starts to withdraw herself. "Oh umm... hi." She quietly looks around. "Yes. My name is Yuuki Oshiro. You're Nanoha-san, yes?" She asks with an Okinawan accent. "It's okay. I... I miss my friends but... Momma said it was best to move away. There were lots of bad memories there."

She just looks down and smiles again. This is one that isn't really authentically. "Umm... what do you do after school?" She asks quietly sounding happy enough. "I usually just go home and help clean up and cook. Momma works at the hospital and she is really tired when she gets home.'

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi head tilts and ohs! "Um, my family owns the Midori-Ya Cafe in the city." she says. "It's a bakery! And light cafe foods- but mostly baked goods! I help after school and on weekends, mostly!" she says. "So that's what I do!" she says.

Is that smile authentic? She doesn't think so. But everyone's a little different. Someone's 'really bright smile' might be someone else's 'slightly less happy smile', afterall.

"Bad memories?" she asks. "I can understand that. If moving away helps..." she says quietly.

She head tilts. "Hospital work is really important." she insists. She's had her share of being slapped into there.

She has a seat down next to Yuuki. "What do you like to do?" she asks. "Do you like cooking?" she asks.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki gives a more authentic smile to see Nanoha talking about her family's business. "I will have to tell my momma about that. I bet she would like to go there and try things. I like fresh baked bread." She comments softly.

When the memories are brought up again, Her smile fades again, returning to the more fake one. "My daddy passed away last year. He got sick and they couldn't find a cure for it. It was really bad. I miss him so much."

As soon as she can she looks for a way to change the subject. Thankfully Nanoha gives that opening. "I like playing the cello. I want to get really good at playing it and maybe, someday I want to play and make people all over happy." There is the more authentic smile again.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns a little as she listens. It's a sad frown. She looks back to Yuuki. "I'm sorry." is all she can say to that. "I know how that must feel." she says. "One of my sisters is actually adopted- because she lost her parents too." she says. "And she was actually sort of my cousin before that!" she says.

She head tilts a little and nods a lot. "You should come by!" she says. "I've been working on my baking." she insists.

She head tilts. "You play the cello? Wow. I don't play any instruments. I'm really only good at....." magic. "....uh. Um! Maybe I can come by and listen. Are you in the Music Club? You should join if you wanna be in the music club." she says softly. "Lots of people there you can learn and play along with!" she says. "I bet." she says.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
"I'm sorry, Nanoha-san." That makes Yuuki sad too. She sits there and listens. "Well at least she has a good family to call her own now. Thats a good thing!" She warms up a little. Slowly her more shy nature begins to fade away.

She gives a little smile to Nanoha and nods, "That sounds like fun! I might do that. I'd love to try some of your baking." She comments as she swings her feet on the bench. "I know how to make a few things. Like Ramen and Momma showed me how to make udon noodles too but those are really hard." She shrugs a little.

Then the question of her joining the music club is brought up. Yuuki just starts shaking her head. "I umm... I don't want to. I've not played my cello since after my daddy passed away. I sorta lost my way when I was Daddy passed. I thought my friends would never want to talk to me again. It really stinks. I Guess I just am trying to find myself now."

She looks up at the trees and just smells the air. Its a very nice scent. The sweet smell of Autumn. "I really like this time of year. My daddy would walk me home and we would take a longer way through the woods. We'd look at the trees as they'd change colors and the smell always reminded me of him. I don't know why he always took me through the woods though. I guess it just made him feel happy. It makes me feel happy too."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi listens a bit and frowns, but then smiles. "Well that's a happy memory then." she says with a matter of fact nod. She head tilts and frowns a bit. "Oh." she says. "So you don't play anymore." she says sadly. "Maybe someday." she says. "Making friends is important." she says as she looks back up to the trees.

"Winter is going to come soon. Means Momma's gonna get the extra Hot Chocolate machine out of the closet and get it going. Sales for it go up in the cold." she says.

"Also need to order more marshmallows." she says. "Lots of people like them in their hot chocolate." she says.

"We've been pondering chocolate flakes to put in this year." she says. "It seems trendy!" she says.

She head tilts. "Do you look forward to the snow? I think it's pretty..." she says.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns, "Someday I will play again. I just don't really want to right now. Its been so hard to do some things." She nods and gives a weak smile, "You're right. It is. but I pushed mine away. Maybe things will be different here."

She listens to Nanoha talk about the marshmallows and shaved chocolate for hot cocoa. That gets her to light up. "I love hot cocoa! Ooo! You should get Peanut Butter!!! That go really well in hot cocoa! Its like drinking a peanut butter cup! Cinnamon is really yummy in it too!" She licks her lips at the thought. Those things are yummy to her!

She smiles a little, "The snow!! I like playing in the snow. I like throwing snowballs and making snowmen. And Snow angels! They are so pretty. It always feels really nice too. Like its warmer! I really am looking forward to it!"

She looks at Nanoha and makes a curious little face as she seems lost in thought. "The last thing Daddy said to me. It doesn't really make much sense. But I think he may have been a little loopy. They put him on a lot of medicines to try to help him. He told me I have a lot of strength in me. And to follow my heart. That I can make everything better. This world, This dimension, everything. I love you and I'll always be with you." She goes back to thinking about it. Its a curious thing for her. "Yes I think he was really loopy."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi listens to those words. She doesn't know anything about worlds or other dimensions. Nope. Not at all. Except they totally exist and also someone in the class is from another planet.

"Well. I don't think it's loopy." she says quietly. "There's a lot of sense in there. If you think about it.". Nanoha isn't about to go off on magical stuff to someone who is /clearly/ mundane.

She begins to wonder about Yuuki's dad now. But. Well, it's no good to keep questioning Yuuki about her dad. That'd be bad.

Maybe later when Yuuki's had more time. This sounds really recent.

She smiles. "Well hopefully it snows soon!" and not some sort of mega death glacier that encompasses all of the city like many months back.

That'd be bad.

"I should introduce you to another friend of mine, soon, Nicola." she says. "She can be a little strange sometimes." because she's from another planet. "But that's what makes her special!" she beams.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
"Strange isn't so bad. It can be really fun. Maybe a little scary too but scary can be good too though. Getting scared sometimes is fun but not always." She shrugs and smiles a little.

I can't wait until it snows. It just looks like everything is brand new. So clean and pretty. I love it!" Yuuki giggles softly. "Maybe by winter I will make some friends and everything really will be new." She shrugs.

"So what do you do for a club? I mean, you seem really nice and stuff. Are you in a cooking club or something? I mean you probably could do well in one."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Clubs.

A reminder that Nanoha never really had anything special about her until she discovered her magical calling. She can't really... say. 'Oh I do magic stuff instead' and 'study magical math' in what would be my Club time. She ahems.

"I don't. Actually do any clubs." she says embarrassedly. "Nothing really appealed to me I guess for clubs." she says quietly.

Yup. For all that talk of clubs, she sure isn't in one herself!

"Right now it's fall though. Ugh! All those leaves. I don't like jumping into leaf piles." she admits.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro shrugs, "maybe next year something will be better fitted for you." She gives a little smile and just goes back to looking at the trees and the sky as well. Its very different here. She's still not gotten accustomed to it in this city.

"I used to jump into the leaves while helping momma and daddy to rake them up. It was fun to do! I guess we just let them lay where they fall now. I don't do a lot of things anymore. It kinda stinks. I just don't want to anymore. I help out mom and I take care of Kit Cat. But I dunno." She smiles a little.

She shrugs, "Do you like Apple Cider?" She asks curiously. "Is one of my favorite things to drink during this time of year. It can be warm or cold. Its sweet and apple-y and just really yummy."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi head tilts. "Kit Cat?" she asks. A pet? She doesn't know! She sighs a bit and shakes her head. She shakes her head as she sighs a bit. She head tilts apple cider?

"Hot or Cold?" she asks. "I like it when it's Hot. With Spice." she says. "But the cold stuff you get in stores just tastes like 'heavier apple juice'." she says with a scrunched up nose- like she doesn't like it very much.

Uh oh. Here comes Arisa and Suzuka. They're done with classroom chores.

"Nanoha-chan~" says Arisa. "We're going now!". "And you're coming!" says Suzuka. "No running away this time!" she huffs.

E..eehh. -,-;;.

"I need to go now Yuuki. I'll see you tommrow!" she says with a wide smile. She gives that warm smile and begins to stand up and walk towards her friend with a mopey gait. ugh.
