Cast of Characters: Norie Okana, 188

Norie Okana has posed:
'You should go to the recreation room in the upper levels. There's others like you. You can meet them. You don't need to be alone'. More or less words Riventon-sama told her a few months back.

Lacrima is just getting around to that now. The upper levels are reserved for those who are proper members of the shadowy organization- those that know the true nature of it.

There's all sorts of... arcade games here. On free play. And vending machines. And tables. Some private-like booths.

Her eyes trace to the arcade games. Maybe later, she thinks. Games are not interesting right now. But know what is?

Eating.

Lacrima makes her way over to the vending machine and inserts some ridiculously high value bill-- then begins to press the button for a chocolate bar. A kind with some sort of fluffy, cherry-like pink filling.

She clears out the machine's supply of thirty candy bars and gathers them up into her hands as she walks to one of the tables.

She begins eating like this is a perfectly normal thing- to sit there with a stack of thirty candy bars with apparent intent to eat all of them in one sitting.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
With perhaps the least similar intent, Shinobu still seems to find herself wandering the same path as the candy-hoarding girl she finds occupying the recreational room. Despite the horrific humdrum of socialization it's impossible for the regal Shinobu to deny that appearances are important, but in order to hold to that she must, of course, make an appearance.

To that end, there's not even the tiniest hint of slacking as she whisks open the doors to the room with a toss of her hand as if in the same motion commanding them to open for her. At least, that might be what it looks like to someone who didn't see her actually just push the door open. She trots into the room with a proper gait, twirling a little parasol over her shoulder while eyeing the area, "Huuuum... Quaint... quaint." She lets out, though her voice is quiet, it's clear she's enunciating with purpose to attract attention.

Shinobu takes a short saunter around, observing this or that in the room, taking the longest path that would eventually lead her to Lacrima, who she seems to treat with the same sense of observation as any of the arcade games she passed. She stalks just behind the munching vampiress and leans to one side then the other, looking her up and down with a polite, if, naturally sinister smile on her features before lifting a hand with a dainty grace and nearing it to Lacrima's face with the intent being anyone's guess, though the snake-like aura the gothic girl has around her might put someone on guard, but if the vampiress allows the gesture without recoil, Shinobu would simply poke the other girl on the cheek while asking in a suddenly bubbly and almost condescending tone of voice, "Yummy?"
Norie Okana has posed:
Eating. It's one of the very few human activities she can do that hasn't changed since she became this thing. So Lacrima tends to over do it horribly when she does eat. Because it makes her feel like nothing is wrong. She can /eat/ humans can /eat/ too! Therefore, NOTHING IS WRONG!

Everything is wrong. She just won't admit it to herself right now.

A girl walks in, dressed in an apparent elaborate manner. This is not surprising to her, given the nature of the organization- and the wealth it brings.

She peers up at the girl as her cheek is poked. Poke! She doesn't move to act against it. Nope. Her cheek feels cold to the touch. She does pause in eating and seems to consider this action for a bit as her eyes narrow.

A little creepy, this girl. But Riventon is creepy too. and almost everyone she's interacted with in any major way is. She's pretty sure she's creepy herself.

This thought does bring a frown to her face. But she only seems to have two expressions. A frown, and a neutral straight face- at the moment.

"They are good." she says.

A pause. "Do you want one?" another pause. "I cleaned out the machine." she says.

"Of them." she adds.

The frown turns back into that mostly straight face she was wearing eating before Shinobu came to bother her. "May I ask why you are using a parasol indoors?" she asks. A pause. "Is it protective?" she asks.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Plop! Shinobu plops. Right next to Lacrima at the table. After sitting, she seems to remember she's being presentable and idly adjusts her obnoxiously elaborate attire, the dress, the blouse, the jewelry, the other jewelry, even more jewelry. It all gets resettled and her skirt is swept gently beneath her as she performs a little hop in place.

After clearing her throat, Shinobu addresses Lacrima again, "I do, actually. They look tasty and I am absolutely famished." At this point, it seems like Shinobu may have built up some creepy immunity because neither the building they're in, nor anything about her lavish presentation, nor Lacrima's general being seems to phase her apparently bright spirits.

The way Shinobu regards the sometimes-frowny-sometimes-not girl next to her might seem friendly... oddly friendly given they don't really know eachother yet, like they've been childhood friends forever, but up close, it's clear that Shinobu is appraising her fellow-Eclipsite like she were a painting in a museum. The idle appreciation ceases momentarily as the gothic girl tilts her head with some sense of confusion on her features at Lacrima's questions. With a quirk of her lips and some consideration, she eventually shuts her parasol then holds it out as if trading it for the aforementioned treat, "Try it. Just hold onto it and twirl it around. It's hard to explain, but it's fun and makes you feel pretty."
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima offers a candy bar without much fanfare. It's still wrapped, and most likely delicious whenever Shinobu gets around to eating it.

Lacrima is odd. She definitely looks human, but examining her... her skin is pale. Her hair is long and silken purple. Her eyes the same piercing color. She's just not quite... right. She's dressed in that odd dress of hers. Less elaborate than Shinobu's gothic lolita, but still fanciful. In it's own way.

Lacrima takes the parasol and holds it as she purses her lips.

She stands up and does as suggested, and opens the parasol carefully as she places it against her shoulder. She doesn't spin it- but she seems to... think. This feels...
Familiar. She feels like she should have--- something else. In her other hand- which is currently empty. She does look a little confused for just a moment- before she resumes her usual standard dull expression.

"I guess I can see. How it is fun. I don't know if it makes me feel pretty. But. It feels. Familiar?" she asks. "In a 'good' way. That is. I feel as if it's missing something though...." she trails off.

"Sorry. I often feel like there are things I forget that I've never experienced to begin with." she says flatly.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Shinobu accepts the candy bar and, as it goes with rich people, or rich-seeming people, she takes her time opening the wrapper as if it were some kind of ritzy banana, peeling away the plastic in slivers before munching down on the first bite of the yumminess. All the while, she's peering at Lacrima, taking in the sight of her and the new accessory she's toting with an eerie and unplaceable interest sparking in her eyes.

Once the parasol-toting vampiress is standing, Shinobu holds her hands up while balancing the candy bar between two fingers and forms a square out of her remaining fingers, miming a camera in Lacrima's direction. With a flourishing motion, the would-be shutter closes and she makes a little "Click!" sound. She has one eye shut and one could swear the other actually flashed in that moment, "What a photo op, it suits you really well." She compliments while idly dipping her head in an indicative fashion.

"Hmm, like deja vu?" Shinobu inquires, utterly confused by the notion Lacrima's explaining to her. She tilts her head curiously while continuing, "Or perhaps you saw it in a dream, or maybe you were just destined to be amongst the pretty and don't know it yet." There's a subtle sense of insult to be taken in her words, but her mannerisms and general charm sweep right over it as though nothing out of the ordinary has been said.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima purses her lips. "Something like it. I have... empathic impressions. Of a bygone era. Of sorts." she says politely. "But I feel most comfortable when I feel the 'good' ones." she says.

She head tilts a bit. Picture? She frowns a bit. She doesn't like looking at herself in the mirror, let alone a picture!

She head tilts. "Beauty has not particularly been a concern of mine...."

"Should it...?" she seems to ask- not particularly to Shinobu- but to.. well no one it seems as her eyes search the ceiling- as if trying to figure it out- or ponder on it.

She just softly shakes her head. "Right... My name is... Lacrima." she says softly. "I work with. UMBRA division. As a 'Field Agent' of sorts." she says. "I'm not much of a scientist. Not. Officially. I've been studying. Creatures." she says in a stilted manner, each period a short pause.

She head tilts a little. "Who are you?" she asks.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Speaking of empathy, not an ounce of respect is paid towards Lacrima's frowning by Shinobu, in fact, it seems as though hardly anything about the vampiress' limited emotional state means much of anything to the self-concerned, candy-munching entity that is Shinobu. However, the concept relayed to her by Lacrima does get a few, pitying "Tsk"s out of the ornately-dressed gothic girl.

"That, is a pity. It sounds to me like you don't even know what comfort is if you can't even be comfortable with yourself." Shinobu starts before squinting slightly, hesitantly confused by her own words before she rectifies them, "Or even if you are yourself... whatever." She casts off the would-be sympathy a little too easily and shifts to stand rather suddenly, a bit of flare cast into the motion with a subtle twist of her hips, providing her the perfect pose to show off what she considers her good side.

Perhaps unfortunatly, Lacrima's question seems to have lit a fire in Shinobu as her eyes twinkle with motivation, "Hoooo? Me? Well perhaps you ought to consider this your lucky day as you've gotten to meet me. I am Shinobu Yuu, the soon-to-be foremost beauty of this world, though, you may simply call me Queen, if you like." She says, going off on an obnoxious, self-reverential tangent.

Definitely to the misfortune of the other girl, Shinobu's elation gets the vampiress caught up in it as she reaches both of her hands out, attempting to grasp the hands of Lacrima to bring her in to a waltz to no music whatsoever. Shinobu doesn't quite start dancing on her own, but the intent is clear as she draws herself somewhat close to the vampiress in a poised stance, "I am, amongst other things clearly, a pursuer of sorts for our humble and beneficial friends here and for myself too, of course."
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima frowns a little. "Comfort is not a particular sensation that comes easy to me, no." she says. She head tilts. "I know who I am. But at the same time I'm not who I was." she says.

She listens to Shinobu as she elegantly and lavishly introduces herself. She head tilts a little. So she wants to be a model? An Idol? Eclipse seems to like their Idols.... Or something else? She wonders if she should ask. She does not. Though... then her hands are touched. They are cold.

Lacrima is tugged. She is familiar with this grasp- and motions. Dancing. The major thing that made her happy when she was human. Does it make her happy now? Well. It makes her content. That's... almost likely happiness. Right?

She almost falls into the motions. A step to the right, and if Shinobu moves with her- she will get twirled in this direction. She seems to know what she is doing.

She head tilts. "Soon-to-be?" she asks. "Is there some sort of competition you need to handle first?" she asks curiously.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Judging by the look and body language Shinobu is giving off, one would think Christmas came early for her. Ironically, it's talking about herself that seems to be doing the trick. As they go on, every word becomes a motion. She paces the dance with the conversation, rather than with any rhythm, which seems to be the only sensible way to do things considering there is no music or beat to speak of outside of the general ambiance.

"There's always competition. Beauty is no different and prettiness extends far beyond just your looks. It's a way of being viewed and a way of life. Until everyone heralds me as their Queen, I can't accept it as true, but that is just a matter of time." Shinobu announces matter-of-factly with an obvious giddiness infused into her words as she twirls the vampiress about one hand, taking the lead in the dance with confidence, not an ounce of hesitance shown or offered to her partner.

As Shinobu brings Lacrima back in she continues, "How then, might you ask, can I feel comfortable being me when all is not yet right. Well it is simple, my dear. All that should happen, shall, if you make it." She advises without solicitation, a bit vaguely all in all. Beyond just believing her own words, there's an eerie force at work that's becoming palpable, though it seems to just exist, hanging in the air without intent. An invisible, malicious miasma that seeps out of Shinobu as if to give sensation to the will she wishes to exert onto the world.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima spin. Waltz. Lacrima does not step on toes. She is graceful, deft and fluid with her movements. She is glad that Shinobu also seems to be a good dance partner. There is still no smile on her face- but she enjoys... whatever she's feeling right now. That's enough. The talk and conversation doesn't seem to directly phase her.

Everyone in Eclipse seems to want to rule the world. But they can't all singly rule it. Eventually. Someone's going to win. Then what?

"But how do you intend to do such a thing?" she asks. "Becoming a model--- or an idol. Seems like a good stepping stone for that sort of thing." she says quietly.

Lacrima is familiar with malicious miasma. She basks in it regularly. This one seems controlling, however- it has intent and direction. Not like the free flowing darkness she likes to bask in.

"Oh. I see now." she says quietly.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Shinobu moves with a practiced grace, her movements are practical and precise without a lot of room for individual flair. The dance almost seems like second nature to her as her focus is planted fully in the conversation and her self-reverance. She's beaming brightly, juxtaposing Lacrima's frowny tendancy, but it's a vacant smile that doesn't even try to hide the fact that her mind is drifting to fantasy and ideas of grandeur.

"Models and idols are just jobs. People are free to like or dislike them and it's all just a fad or taste. To be a Queen is much more difficult. I must rule, after all." Shinobu dictates with an airy giggle escaping her lips as she twirls the vampiress once more, "And I see the path, my eye shows me everything, all I must do is walk it." She continues as her left eye glimmers with a yellow light, staining the typical amber of her eyes. For a moment, the haze surrounding the two, oozing out of Shinobu turns warm and comforting, like an embrace, but it's easy for someone who spends time in such darkness to see through the facade, however convincing it may be. Contrasting the former notion, it's the type of warmth that one could let themselves get lost in, another type of control that Shinobu seems to be flaunting giddily to her cohort in Eclipse.

The dance pauses as they come together, back to the initial step, "It's odd that we should be brought together. Maybe it's fate even. I wonder what it is I would truly see if I cast my bountiful light on you." She starts before pausing the dance even longer. Her grip intensifies for a moment as she giggles softly just as the next movement in the dance should be happening. She squeezes Lacrima to the point of trying to force her to stop should she attempt to continue on as one would expect in the waltz. Shinobu then leans close to whisper in the vampiress' ear, "What would I find in your heart that you desire?"
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima seems to listen. She's about to respond when... some sort of light? Warmth and Comfort...

A look of horror seems to overcome Lacrima, though not for the reasons Shinobu might think. Such things.. such yellow light and warmth-- she's felt these before. Thoughts of purification- of becoming intangible nothing course through her mind.

She pauses, however. It feels... like... fakery. Like someone put frosting over moldy cake-- or disguised a raisin cookie as a chocolate chip one-- what you expected is not what you get.

She stops- dead. Mid step-- but she places her foot straight to the ground easily enough.

She frowns. Look inside her heart?...

Does she still even have one?

"I am la vampira. Vampire." she says matter of factly. "Undead." she says. "That is to say- I am not human." she says quietly.

"It isn't hard. You don't need to-- look inside whatever substitutes as a 'heart' for me." she says. "To know I want to be human again." she says quietly.

"But we both know that isn't happening." she says quietly.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
Shinobu seems to relish in all the little things happening in Lacrima, even some of the things that might not be too tangible to those with an average perception. She backs away from Lacrima, but leaves her hands where they are, though they loosen their grip to an easygoing hold, leaving the thought of continuing the dance in the air without an answer.

"Aw, you're no fun. You could at least lie to me to make it more fun. You're suppose to say something crazy to hide what you truly want." Shinobu jovially scolds the vampiress without much emphasis behind it. She giggles once more and cants her head to one side as she inquires, "I've never met a vampire before. I've seen them a lot in movies though. Anyways, why would you want to become a human again? Isn't there anything you like about being a vampire?" She asks with an obvious sense of naivety surrounding the subject.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima frowns a little softly. "What would be the point?" she asks quietly. "To hide it?" she asks. "Besides. You don't want to go poking around 'inside me'." she says. "I'm nothing but a construct of dark energy. At least. My body is." she says. "I'm more native to the Dusk Zone, than Earth." she says.

"There are advantages. I can't die, through conventional means. I'll never age. I'm effectively immortal." she says.

"But attacking people to feed on their energy. Unable to feel comfortable-- or happy." she says. "To become irrational suddenly for-- very little reason." she says.

"Those are not so enjoyable." she says flatly.

"The movies are mostly wrong. At least how it relates to me at least. Garlic just tastes bad. But raw garlic always tastes bad." she insists. "Even for humans." she says matter of factly. "Stakes through the heart hurt, but... well. Dark energy construct, as I said. Not flesh, or bone."

"Well..." she says curtly. "I do feel urges to sleep in cramped spaces- such as a coffin." she says. "And I can turn into a bat." she says. "Though sunlight just merely makes me uncomfortable. It isn't deadly to me- or debilitating." she offers.

"You dance quite well." she offers, finally. "I don't get to dance very often. I was in the Dance Club, at my school, when I was human." she says. "But nowadays. Well." she huffs.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
For a little while, it would seem Shinobu is being quite attentative towards Lacrima, but as time goes on, that attention seems to drift further and further from what the vampiress has to say and back towards those dreamy fantasies that put a vacancy in her expression. However, contrary to before, she still seems quite centered in the moment, "I'm actually immensely interested in you. It's not everyday you meet someone made of dark energy... or a vampire for that matter." Her voice is tinged with excitement, like there's more she wants to say, but it's witheld for some reason.

Shinobu releases Lacrima's hands, her own drifting upwards as she glides some of her fingers through the other girl's hair, toying with it gently as she stands with her weight to one side, head tilting gently while appraising the vampiress with that same appreciation as before as though Lacrima were some sort of painting on display, "Dancing is an important skill for one who is beautiful, it's an excellent display to grant your subjects." She states as though that's a helpful bit of information for anyone to know.

"As for you, well, I mean, you have a lot of potential, I think anyways. Not as much as me, of course, but certainly more than the average rabble." Shinobu offers to Lacrima in a mostly complimentary manner, "A bow here, a smile there, just the right touch of grace. I can see it." She says as if she's already off in some dreamland where whatever it is she's envisioning is real. As she pronounces such, her hand roves without regard for Lacrima despite concerning the vampiress, touching on the other girl's head and dress indicatively and with consideration. Amidst the perusal, Shinobu's left eye begins to glow with a dim, yellow light.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima head tilts. 'More than the average rabble'. More of that familiar feeling-- but something more. It causes her teeth to click together. Lacrima's hair is inhumanly silken. Dark purple and violet. She doesn't seem to mind this violation of personal space too much.

Maybe it just feels nice for someone not to be afraid to touch her. She doesn't know- in either event. She's always confused about such things. This makes her think of someone else though. She frowns- just a little- at the thought.

She head tilts--- her eye glows. She wonders. Perhaps, what's the nature of SHinobu's own power.

"Now. What exactly. Are you Shinobu?" she asks quietly. "I felt warmth earlier. Much like how it feels when someone 'purifies me', but when my senses actually tasted it... well." she says.

"Do you cloud minds?" she asks curiously.

"I get that impression, fairly easily, right now." she offers. "It was easy to feel earlier." she says. "Oppression. Of some form- or another."
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
"No, no, no, silly." Shinobu starts immediately. Despite her casual tone, she's still being touchy in a more intimate fashion as though she's regarding Lacrima as some sort of doll that needs just the right touch, but she can't seem to decide for certain. Her thoughts are so far beyond the whole fact that the girl in front of her has free will that it's a little oppressive in its own right, never mind the magic that's still hanging in the air like some hazy coils of a snake.

"I'm just a girl and I don't cloud minds. I bring clarity. There are things in this world that aren't right, they're meant to be... different, but only I can tell what they are and all I do is make them... right." Shinobu explains in perhaps the most eloquent display of egoism and insanity the world has ever known. Perhaps.

Slowly, as if giving a demonstration. She gently takes one hand from its dutiful touchiness and extends it out to one side while canting her head in an odd way, casting a dominant and somewhat sinister gaze over Lacrima as that glimmery left eye of hers begins to brighten intensely... or does it? It's hard to tell and in that way, it draws the eye. It simply becomes of interest with the way it seems to pulse but also doesn't. Also in that way, it poses a question to... something within Lacrima, whether it's her mind, senses, or even directly to her body, it's hard to tell, but one thing is certain. The answer to that question is that it seems like a good idea to do the same thing Shinobu's doing, just to let one's arm gently extend to the side.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima might agree with such a statement, of this being the most eloquent display of egoism and insanity the world has ever known- but Kunzite has told her stories about Queen Beryl. This is getting pretty up there, however, she thinks somewhere in the back of her mind.

Shinobu answers her questions. She says words. Words are things people use to hide truths. Like when Kukai lied to her. When people tell her 'they can help her' then--- do nothing.

This causes her teeth to clench a little. Not at Shinobu, but those thoughts of others. She wants to rant. She in fact, almost unwisely does this-- to go on a rant about 'saying what you mean'. But then Shinobu catches her with that blare of magic-- trying to delve and probe into her. It will find... something in her. What it is, isn't very pleasant. It feels wrong- and inhuman-- Like something horrible that's wearing the mask of 'a human soul'--- but it is something that power is able to touch.

She can feel that. Does it happen?

Well her arm does twitch- but it never quite extends.

Shinobu doesn't feel resistance- on Lacrima's part. Perhaps that-- whatever this power is talking to-- it doesn't understand it's 'language'. Perhaps whatever Lacrima is just can't be controlled easily. Vampires are known for their dominance. Lacrima knows this much. She feels it. It's why she exerts control over these creatures from the dark so easily.

"That feels very strange. I feel I know what you're trying to do." a pause. "Not that. I'm trying to stop you." she says.

"But I think I understand." she says pursing her lips.

"I have a similar power. But it is much different. You are very strange. However. You're able to manipulate, it seems. While they are lucid." she says.

"I feel as if--- I perhaps could just imagine the marionette string... if I squint just hard enough...."
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
The effect doesn't last long. Just a short, dazzling display. Then the light in Shinobu's eye dims down till her eyes are their regular amber color again. Her arm slides down to her side, the other still extended towards Lacrima, gently twisting a few locks of that purple hair between her fingers as if it's some precious material. She handles it delicately and it certainly doesn't seem like it's a new experience for her, in fact, it's almost like she practices invading personal space at this point.

However, the delicate touch doesn't last long. It actually suddenly shifts, ruining the tone of the moment as Shinobu suddenly tries to pinch the vampiress' cheek and give it a soft tug and wiggle like one's grandmother might do, "Ah, I feel like I could just squeeze you. You're so cute and... and... gah." She lets out, her pent-up excitement that she had been saving seems to just spill out of her at this point and it seems to bring a sense of relief as though the excitement had built up tension. Self-control never was Shinobu's strong suit. It ends with Shinobu attempting to tilt foreward, dropping her princessy facade momentarily to rub her cheek against Lacrima's forehead like one would a cute pomeranian.

"You're right on most accounts. In fact, it was my choice to take this lesser power." Shinobu admits in an expository tone of voice, "People are much easier to control when they're not aware, but then... then you miss all the little things that happen. It goes "Huh?" then "Wait..." Then "No!" She kind of explains, her face briefly mimicking the expression of confusion, more confusion, then outright shock and resistance.
Norie Okana has posed:
Lacrima is treated like a cute Pomeranian. She is called cute. Now. Normal humans would react to this oddly from someone they just met. Well the last time she was called cute. It was by her brother--- maybe just a week until this stupid necklace cursed her into this thing. She ran away from home. She hasn't seen her brother in nearly four months. She misses him. And it hurts.

But that makes her thinks of slightly lighthearted times. It doesn't make her happy. But it does prevent her from making Shinobu stop this odd behavioral physical contact at the moment.

Lacrima seems a little relived-- in some manner- which manifests as a slight mouth twitch- when Shinobu says it was her choice to take on these powers. "Ah." she says. "I was not so lucky. To get to choose. I was cursed by this necklace." she says frankly. "It once contained the power. Then it sort of leaked like a damaged juice can." she hrmphs.

"The necklace isn't even... malicious. It was a /prison/.. made by... /holy men/." she spits. "They just did a shoddy job of sealing it 'forever'." she says with a snap.

She listens to Shinobu expresses her satisfaction over the reactions she gets. She head tilts. "You sound like you enjoy it a lot." she says softly. A pause. "Once again. I. Make.. statements. Sometimes. I-- don't... really... human. Well. Anymore. When I say such things, I am merely stating a fact-- not... judging..." she says.

"Some people take it that way." she says matter of factly.

"I used to be really good at dealing with people. But it's hard when... your base for knowing certain emotions is just your memory of them, rather than... feeling it.. itself." she says.

She head tilts. "Squeeze me? Ah. Tsk. I don't know why you find me cute." she admits.
Shinobu Yuu has posed:
At this point, it's difficult to tell if there are any physical boundaries that even exist to Shinobu. She's briskly snuggling with a vampiress made of darkness she's only just met like it's just something that's completely normal. However, because of this, she does so with gusto and in an oddly caring manner despite her earlier signs of psycopathic levels of empathy.

Unfortunately, the revelry is interrupted by the soft jingling of what is probably Shinobu's phone hidden... somewhere in her dress. Does it even have pockets? Who knows. At first, the gothic girl makes no move to answer or even address the ringing. Too wrapped up in her current admiration one could easily assume, but after a few more annoying rings, it seems to dawn on her and she slowly lifts her head and takes a step back from the vampiress.

"It seems that I must take my leave. Leads don't pop up every day so they must take precedence... even over such fascinations as yourself." Shinobu chirps out, elation and annoyance both clear in her tone. It's not clear whether or not she was even listening to Lacrima, that is, until she does address all the explanation in a rather short manner. She turns and starts to walk away, the click of her small heels enuciating her gait and her exit showing a similar level of lavishness as her entrance, "I'm not really good with details... At least, details of other people anyways, but color me happy that whatever happened to you, did... Not that it could have happened any other way. Hope to see you later, my little vampire." So distracted by the abruptness of the call is she that she doesn't really mask any meanings, even subtle ones in her words. They all seem rather genuine. Not that it really matters in the short term considering her pacing. She's almost through the door when she responds, giving Lacrima little time to respond to her statement, let alone register it.
