A small favor

Synopsis:	Sakura went to Haruna for a very, very embarrassing request.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto walked up to the house, a nervous grin on her face. she had never, ever done anything like this, so she was... extra nervous. and wearing a cute little skirt and a sweater, with leggins to keep her legs warm.

She gently reached out and knocked on the door, rocking back and forth as she waited. She hoped Haruna wouldn't be mad at her...

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
"Coming!" says Haruna Kurosawa from behind the door.

There's footsteps then Haruna peeks the door open and! "Oh! Hi Sakura-chan." she says meekly. She opens the door all the way and motions her inside. The apartment is--- a mess. There's a paperwork explosion all around.

"Ehehe--s-sorry! It's usually super clean! But..." she says. "I had to catch up with work because the store is opening realllllly soon." she says with wide eyes. Corvus is tapping away at a laptop nearby with feathered wings. He gives a wave over to Sakura.

"Um.. you're...okay...from...the other day..."

"Right?" she asks meekly.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked, opening her mouth. A look of concern crossed her face. She looked around. "Do you ummmm... want some help? I mean, I'm not good at math or anything, but I can... arrange things? Grab you forms?"

Oh gosh how could she be so selfish. Here she was wanting to ask her friend for this and she completely ignored the fact that it's probably really hectic and hard for her. "Can I come in?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head. "Nono! Everything is sort of organized chaos right now, don't touch anything." she says softly. "It's just. I was in. That illusion for..three days. I was on schedule but that ruined everything." she says with a sigh a bit as she sits back down and works. "Don't mind me!" she says. "It's not math. Just. Signing papers..." she says.

"And things like that." she says.

A pause. "Um. I'm sorry. About the other day. Still." she says. "I don't even know if you know what it was about." she says.

"Who was...your friend?" she asks. "The one you came with?"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, then smiled. "Yuuki-chan. She's a magical girl, too! She's really strong, she saved my life. Oh. I actually need to talk with Hannah about her, actually..." She then gulped. "

"So... errr... you have everything you need for it, right? Uhhh, wait staff... too?" She walked inside, careful to avoid stepping on anything, trying to find somewhere uncovered to sit. "Or... ummmm... do you need any help with anything?" She looked a bit... flustered.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
The couch is free of paper at least. "Oh! Corvus get.. Sakura some tea and a snack!" she says. Corvus sighs and rolls his eyes and flaps off into the kitchentte area to go about making tea and preparing some sort of cookies from a package.

"Huh? I have a few staff lined up." she says. "But I intend to work too~ and Corvus is gonna work too. In his human form of course."

"I'm day shift manager!" he insists from the kitchen.

She head tilts. "Well if you want I can tag Hannah to have her talk to her." she says.

She blinks. "Why you asking about staff?" she asks.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods, smiling nervously up at her. "I... I ummmm... i..." She chewed on her lower lip, clenched her fists in her lap and... "I-I want to know if you'd be okay w-with me working for you! A little bit! I-I'll do whatever job you want a-and I'm a really hard worker, I-I can have my daddy call you, I do all my chores really well except when I switch with Toya but daddy says I'm really mature and always get the laundry and cooking and dishes done and cleaning! I-I'll do whatever job you need, I'll cook or clean or wait tables o-or whatever you want!"

Oh gosh she couldn't look more flustered, her cheeks flushed, her lips in a squiggly line, eyes wide and staring at the ground. and she had that lil tremble in her fists. "I just... kind of need some... spending money and... and I..." She chewed on her lower lip a little. "I-I wanted to get everyone who had helped me until now a christmas gift and... and I'd kinda... want to know if you'd lend me some money for it. I-I'd pay it back! If you hire me.. w-with interest!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa blinks at Sakura, then smiles a bit with a giggle. "Ohhh Sakura-chan." she says. "Of course you can come work at the shop when it opens. And--- well. It depends how much you want- but we can do that." she says. "But...it means you need to work until you at least pay it off...okay? That's your responsibility then." she says with her arms crossed a bit with a curt nod.

"Can you promise me that?" she asks softly.

"Also, you need to do what the customers ask and what Corvus asks you to do." she says.

Corvus flaps back with Tea and cookies and presents them to Sakura. When they're taken. He gets back to work. Helpful Seagull!

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, staring up at her. "Y-yes! I'll pay it all back, I promise! N-no matter what! I... I'll even use my magic, if you want! a-as long as no one knows." Ohhhh, bubble card could be useful. "A-and I won't give up. I'll be very, very responsible. I promise! You'll be the boss and I'll do whatever you say!"

She took the cookies and gave him one of her heart warming smiles. "Thank you." Taking one of the cookies and nibbling it. She then stared up at Haruna. "If... if that's okay? If you'll... take me? If you can't, I understand. I-I know this is asking a lot and I really, really didn't want to, I-I mean, I know it's selfish of me a-and greedy b-but I don't really know any other way to do it and Toya said he'd teach me how to make the-- errr... g-gifts. If I can get the money for it."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts. "Sakura. People ask for 'advances' all the time when they work for things like that." she says. "It's not like you're asking for free money. It isn't greedy." she says as she purses her lips.

"Tell you what, you drop by the shop around... five pm tommrow and I'll get you setup okay?" she smiles some.

"Also it isn't selfish." she says. "You wanna get gifts done in time for Christmas!" she beams.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, then got up and hugged her around the waist, a big grin on her face. "T-thank you so much Haruna-sempai! I-I'll be the best worker you ever had, I promise! I'll be there bright and early, a-and I'll work so, so hard, you'll see! I-i'll work twice as hard as everyone else! three times as hard! I-I won't let you down I promise!" She then pulled back and grinned up at her, practically glowing. "Thank you so much, Haruna-sempai. And... are you sure you don't need my help for anything?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa thinks about this. Something. for Sakura to do right now. Nrg, nothing. Signing papers and putting them into piles. Not really anything for Sakura to do. "No, I'm sorry Sakura-chan." she says softly. "Nothing needs moved and stuff just needs my signature." she says meekly.

A pause. "Actually..." she then thinks. "If you go through each paper...in this small box?.." she points to the 'Out' box on the table. "Can you make sure that I signed every paper at the bottom?" she asks softly. That's something she can do, right?

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, a big grin on her face. "Yes ma'am!" she said quickly, before kneeling down and slowly going through each and every paper one by one, examining them closely for any missed signatures.

... Well... at least Haruna would discover that, yes, Sakura DOES have a good work ethic.
