A new guardian in training

Location:	Seiyou Public School - Royal Garden
Synopsis:	Amu brings Airi to meet the other guardians! And indoct-- abso-- invite her into the guardians. She stood no chance.

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori was doing the smart, responsible thing. Taking initiative. Stepping up to the plate. Making poor airi suffer. That's right. She was making the poor girl be SOCIAL!

And today, social meant being dragged to the guardian garden to meet the other guardians. Well, two of them. Tadase was still sick or busy or just not around for reasons. She could meet him later. For now, though, was the important time. She brought Airi into the garden, giving her hand a little squeeze. "Kukai-kun!" Pause. "Nagi-kun!" Yes, she called him na-chan more lately. But... iit was up to Nagi to reveal himself. Not her.

"This is the girl I told you about, with the charas? Airi Nakahara! And this is her chara, Vidya!" Putting the poor two on display.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai hadn't ever heard of this other girl before, as far as he knew. If he had, sadly, he'd forgotten about her. But Amu said she had a Guardian Chara, so he needed to meet her. The quiet time for smooching off in a shady corner was just bonus.

Kukai hops up from one side, looking over at Amu and Airi. "Hello? Hey, I see you. Hi! Uh..."

He walks towards the center of the Garden, looking at Airi and Vidya, rubbing his chin as Daichi sits on his head. "Huh. Hello." When he's close enough, he sticks out his hand. "Hi. I'm Kukai Souma, Jack of Guardians. It's nice to meet you, Airi, Vidya!"

Airi Nakahara has posed:
'Why the devil am I here again?' Its the only thought running through poor Airi's mind right now. She definitely doesn't feel like she fits in here. Especially given her other affiliations. All she wants to do right now is take off running the other way. Sadly Amu has her hand and there is no escaping!

Vidya on the other hand is front and center. Perhaps Airi secretly wants to be more outgoing? That could explain things easily. Still There is Vidya and she is quite content to be hanging out with Ran, Su, and Miki at the moment. She's potentially looking forward to meeting the others Too!

Then there is Kukai greeting Airi. Airi closes her eyes. "Err... Hello?" She whispers to the sporty guy. Quietly she looks at Amu, "Should I really be here? You're busy and stuff. I can find other things to do..." She tries to get herself out of all of this.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
Paperwork. While keeping up with paperwork was a good thing, that meant that instead of panicking and rushing to get it all done in a few days, there was now a steady stream of it to do.

At Amu's voice, he tries hard to make it look like that's what he's been doing. Paperwork. He clears his throat and studies his sheet of paper, hopefully getting it turns right side up before anyone notices.

"Ah, hello! Nice to meet you! I'm Nagihiko Fujisaki, the Ace Chair. And don't worry about it, there's always paperwork to do."

Temari eyes Vidya curiously. Rhythm, being Rhythm, tackles the new chara. "Yay! Hi!"

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori nodded, grinning. "Trust me, they're awesome. Besides, you're new, right? And you still need friends. So, here's two new ones for you. You have a chara of your own, so you'll fit right in. And don't worry, we're not going to ask you to join us yet. Probably." She paused. "Are we?" glancing to the others. Well, she kind of got sucked right in so... "Maybe eventually. Either way, Kukai-kun and Nagi-kun are two of the greatest people I know. Nagi-kun is my best friend, too. There's no one better you could ask to have your back."

She then paused. "And, err, they of course know about the x-eggs. So don't worry about that. They're honestly the ones who taught me all about this stuff to begin with."

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai smiles at Airi and Vidya. "No, no, it's fine! Like Nagihiko said, there's always something to do around here. Even when this paperwork is done we've got more stuff to do. When that's done we have other things we should do. So we can put it off. It's fine."

He moves in, taking Airi's hand and pulling her towards the table, while Rhythm tackles Vidya into pieces. "C'mon, sit down! We can have a talk about things. How much do you know about Charas?" He plops down in one seat, looking at Airi as Amu mentions x-eggs. "Uh. Oh, right, yeah, we're familiar with X-eggs. We catch 'em, Amu cleans 'em. Well. When I can catch them. There's a lot of things going on."

Airi Nakahara has posed:
Valid points. Confound those valid points! Airi just sighs, "yeah yeah. You're right." She gripes as she looks to Nagi and Kukai. Then she's caught off guard, "Wait What?!"

Airi's face goes deep red. She's never thought of being part of any group. She's been terrified to even try. The only group she really belongs to is the Video game club. She's heard of what the Guardians do. There is no way she could fit in. She looks panicked. "Errr umm... No way. I'm not good with crowds and stuff. I'm just okay with computers..."

"And coming up with Storyboards, anf gaming, and drawing concept art!" Vidya chimes in after recovering from the inbound tackle from Rhythm. "Airi is re... *MMPH!*"

The much larger hand of Airi quickly grabs hold of the chara, covering her mouth. "Enough of that! I'm not that good at any of that!" She looks at Nagi and she gives a little smile, "Oh umm. Nice to meet you. Fujisaki-san" She bows politely and is suddenly pulled over to the table. "Gahhhh!!!"

Suddenly she is feeling like she's being interrogated. "I know that Charas are the sum of a person's deepest dreams. That most people don't have them. That they are really naughty sometimes!" She gives a look to Vidya." She bites her bottom lip. "I know about the X-eggs... Errr. Hinamori-san told me." She cants her head, "What is going on?"

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
His eyes settle on the linked hands of Kukai and Airi. And is very proud that not even an eye twitches!

He sits at the table (as close to Kukai as he can without coming across as territorial) as well and picks up a pile of paperwork that he's done the likes of several times already. Brainless for the most part, once you know what you're doing. "What's going on here is a school group designed to ensure the wellbeing of all if the kids' hopes and dreams. Other than that, I need more specifics."

Then he blinks. "And you may not be good at any of that, but clearly you have the potential to be."

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori nodded. "Exactly. You have Vidya, so we know you'll have big dreams." She sat down by her. "And... well, that about sums it up. And she's just being humble. She's done some game work, too. She helped me find a few x-eggs, even. She found one down town that I hadn't sensed either."

She sounded so proud. "And I'm sure we could find uses for someone like that. Heck, I don't... really do much more than sharpen pencils here so..." She sounded a little sad about that.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai nods and then smiles, reaching over to pat Airi's shoulder. "It's ok, really. Nobody's insisting you be involved. We just know that most people with Charas do better when we work together. And hey, you don't have to be embarrassed about what you're good at. It's ok."

Kukai nods. "Well.... I mean, there's more magic than just Charas out there, so there's a lot of things to take care of. At the moment, you shouldn't worry about it. Just focus on developing your relationship with Vidya."

He looks over at Amu as he scoots a little closer to Nagi. "Huh. You can sense and find X-eggs? That's a pretty strong ability. And fooey, Amu. None of the rest of us can purify X-eggs. That's all you. Without you, we wouldn't really be able to do anything."

Airi Nakahara has posed:
"Oh I umm, I meant what Souma-san said. He said a lot was happening. I was just curious." Airi looks down at the table. "Well yeah, I guess... I mean I want to be a game creator. It caused Vidya to appear and she's fun to play games with sometimes. When she isn't cheating."

"HEY! I'm not the one who always picks Kirby in Smash Brothers!" Vidya retorts!

"I'm not the one with the Konami code on my Egg!" Airi states then Akanbes at her chara.

Vidya blushes a little, "Well... Its cool isn't it?" To that Airi just rolls her eyes.

Finally Airi looks to Kukai. "Umm, Well umm, I dunno about that I just was in the right place at the right time. I guess. I mean... I dunno if I can sense them or not. I just happened to be there?" Never mind she knows the exact reason why she was at the right place at the right time.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
Nagihiko gives Amu a Look. And then he plops a large stack of papers in front of her. "Okay. Go through these. Forms that look like this--" He places one of the sheets of paper at the top. "Go here. These ones here." Tedious, but hey. It helps, and she all but asked for it!

Kukai scoots closer and he links his foot behind the boy's ankle. Low level footsie.

He arches quizzical eyebrows at Airi. "Huh." He can't tell if he is suspicious or not. Probably.

Then he shakes his head. "Well. If the eggs were saved, that's all that matters in the end."

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori blinked. "W-wait, really? You're not worried I'll mess it up?" She... seemed actually, oddly, happy to start organizing the papers. Who was this and what had they done with Amu? "Yeah, I managed to find the egg. It was a mean one, too. I feel bad for the kid who lost it, the egg was so sad to be apart from its owner and just... well," she sighed and shook her head. "I'm just happy you found it, Nakahara-chan. Losing an egg like that is one of the worst things ever. I couldn't imagine losing mine."

She then glanced up. "What's a kordon code?" she asked. "Is it like... morse code?" Oh gosh she was serious. "And you should totally join us. We could always use the help. Maybe you could make posters for our events and things like that. Miki usually does that but she'd probably like the help."

"W-what? But I thought you liked my posters! I don't need help!"

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai grins. "I'm not much of a video game player.. Unless it's Wii Sports. I'm apparently really good at that." He coughs. "So.. maybe Amu can take you out at some point and search for more of them, once you and Vidya are more in tune?"

He keeps his foot still and successfully bites back a grin. Hee hee hee.

Kukai makes an aww sound and then reaches over, patting Amu's shoulder. "You did good, both of you. And sure. More help is always good, if you want to join. We're not gonna make you like we did Amu." He grins at the pinknette.

Airi Nakahara has posed:
Airi gets a sly look on her face, "We'll have to play sometime, Souma-san. I'm always interested in kicking someone's butt!" She snickers mischievously. No Chara-change. Just mischievous gamer being mischievous! She holds her hand up for a high five which Vidya is more then happy to meet.

Then the comments about her joining. She looks really nervous all of the sudden. "There are probably better people for it. I mean. I'm not that great at this stuff. I mean, Vidya could do it but I don't know if I could." She is really trying to downplay her things. Namely because of her 'other' life. Still they are being nice and they did ask so... it could be alright? "I umm. Maybe?"

Vidya, meanwhile, has snuck down to Airi's bag. She opens it and pulls out her idea tablet. The notebook that has Airi's ideas for games and story boards in it. The little chara carries it up and lays it flat open for all to see. The art in it is not terrible.

Airi goes white as snow. "Vidyaaaa! Noooo!" She closes her eyes and just hides her face.

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
He gives her another Look. "You'll do fine. And don't worry, even if one or two end up in the wrong pile, it's still heaps better than doing it by myself. I can show you how to sort the rest of the paperwork later, if you want. It's my least favorite part, so if you did that it'd be a huge help."

He bites back his own smirk at Kukai.

"I've only really played with Tadase at the Crown. We spent a whole summer getting our initials to fill the top tens, and then the Mizuno girl goes and blows them all away in like a week." He sighs, clearly not really put out.

"You could do a volunteer basis at first. See if its a fit. Let us know, hopefully, if you can't make it."

Curiously, he leans over and looks at the tablet. "Not bad. Better than I could do."

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori nodded, a big grin on her face before she reached out and patted Airi on the back. "Don't worry, Nakahara-chan. I know what you're thinking. You're just scared, okay? But... don't worry. We're all your friends here. And if you're with us, we can help your dreams come true, too! Besides, the guardians look great on any resume you end up apply to for school."

She gavee a little wink. "It's like an advanced club. Besides, Vidya seems to like it. And she's who you want to be, isn't she?"

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai arches an eyebrow at Airi. "....Is that some kind of a challenge, miss Nakahara?" He has a wide grin on his face that Nagihiko recognizes and Amu probably does as the 'I'm about to accept a challenge' grin, sort of like Tadase's 'prince' grin. It distracts him, at least, from looking down at the tablet too much, but it does look pretty good. He does however nod after a moment. "It's an offer and you're free to take it at any time." It's all he can do to bite back on 'unless you're scared', gripping the table with both hands.

Airi Nakahara has posed:
Airi quietly bites her bottom lip. She is really nervous. What if she fails? What if she can't do as good a job with this as she did in her game plans? "I uhh. I dunno. I mean. What if I..."

Then Kukai manages to rescue her from the awkward state. Suddenly her bow flashes turning into a game controller. Her eyebrows raise twice, "Souma-san, We should probably have this little battle somewhere quiet. I'd hate to make you look bad." She crosses her arms in the same manner that Vidya is.

"And another thing, I am in. I am so going to blow you all away with my awesome skills!" She smirks like she's the best possible person for the job. Then her bow returns to normal and her eyes go wide. "Oh no. Nonononono! Vidya We talked about this!!!"

The Chara laughs. "You wanted to do it! I just helped you out! Besides we were challenged!"

Nadeshiko Fujisaki has posed:
Nagihiko places a hand on Kukai's knee, just in case, wondering if he'd need to find Kukai's version of The Bucket.

But then Airi accepts. Or rather, her chara accepts for her.

"Well, you're under no obligation to fulfil something said under the influence."

And then a set of earphones are around his neck and he stands up suddenly. "But I think you guys should do it! Neck and neck, skills against skills, being the best you can be! In the end, it doesn't matter who wins, you're both AWESOME!!!"

And then there's a sprig of cherry blossoms in his hair and a naginata in his hand. His eyes glint as the pointy end of the stick is aimed at Airi. "But Kukai's More Awesome."

Amu Hinamori has posed:
Amu Hinamori sighs and leans back. Then holds up a hand. "Don't you three dare," she warned.

"Awwwwww."

She watches with an amused grin as the charas take over. "You know, this is actually kind of fun to watch from a distance. and, err, don't mind that side of Nagi-kun. He won't stab you unless you try kidnapping Kukai-kun, stealing the humpty lock or trying to make x-eggs," she said with a light giggle. "And what? since when has that ever stopped you two from forcing ME to do the things under the influence?" she asked, shaking her head. Well, it always was for her own good, usually.

She then smiled. "Either way, welcome to the group, Nakahara-chan!"

Her charas threw confetti on vidya. celebration time!
