Bad People

Synopsis:	Haruna visits Sakura in the hospital. They talk about what makes people 'bad'. Also. Chocolate and also gifts from all the regulars at Gullwing who miss Sakura-chan!

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto was not being good. She felt awful, honestly. She had to keep lying. And using the illusion card to hide she wasn't hurt. Also, the pills. Which were under her pillow. The only good thing was daddy's insurance was covering everything, but she still felt bad for lying to everyone and that made her feel like a bad person.

But then Yukito had come by and read to her and Tomoyo had brought her home work and things were looking up because her friend had been there to help her out a bit. Now she got to relax and just rest, her homework done, her boy friend gone. Even Touya had been extra nice. He'd brought her some sweets. And Kero, her 'stuffed toy'. Who still seemed really sick and was sleeping a lot. The tv was off and she was laying on her back, covers up to her neck and kind of just... napping. She looked so comfy, too, sleeping with her body in the slings she didn't need.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto is in the hospital and she's super upset but she has /gifts/. In fact. When she bounds into the room, high on energy and she frowns. She heard things. Things from Hannah. She stops before she practically bounds over Sakura though and goes into light steps and foot falls.

"Sakura-chan, are you up?" she asks softly.

She peeks up and over to see if she's up or not under those covers.

Sakura Kinomoto blinked and slowly her eyes opened. She gave a soft yawn before looking up at her with bleary eyes. "Haruna-sempai?" she asked softly, before her good arm lifted up to wipe at her eyes and get all the sleepy out of them. "Hi. I ummmm... err... take a seat?" she offered, slowly sitting up. She didn't seem to be in pain, at least. In fact, she seemed fine. Aside from the casts.

"Sorry I missed my shift... I'm kind of stuck here... and I was in surgery for a long, long time. Are you mad?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa huh? "No, I'm not mad!" she says. "So why are you in the hospital? I heard a truck hit you?" she says. "A white haired. Punchy truck." she insists. Because she isn't letting Sakura lie about this one with a frown. "Even though I heard it was an accident?" she asks softly.

She frowns a bit and crosses her arms. That bag still hangs in her hand a bit and then she blinks. "OH! Right! Um!" she hands the bag over.

"Lots of regulars realized you're in the hospital so bought you some cards and small gifts and what not!" she beams. "You're popular at the shop, you know that?" she smirks.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, then nodded. "y-yeah. It was a truck, just came out of..." Then cringed. Oh. She knew. Her eyes lowered. "It was m-my fault," she said softly. And she seemed to be trying to shrink in the bed. Not an easy feat considering her leg and arm wrapped up and suspended. The rest of her shrunk, though.

Then the treats. "R-really? They did?" She looked in the bag and gasped and... "It'sso fluffy!" Pulled out a little stuffed kitty, hugging it to her chest. "L-let everyone know I'll get to work on thank you letters right away, okay? I'll have them ready by the time you come by, okay?" she sounded so happy, hugging her new kitty and... then taking a piece of chocolate. Splitting it in half and... holding out a piece.

Then... "Can... you do me a favor?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa most certainly takes the piece of chocolate. "Oh right. Um..." she sort of shoves the chocolate into her mouth and turns around as she digs the 'Fight' card out and turns around. "Here." she says. "Because the next time Hannah gets outta line you just punch her in the face back with this!" she beams.

"I dunno if you want it back but. You can use it better than me. Also. Like Unity Loop has been talking to it? I don't want it to be a bad influence. Lost Logia can be a little strange you know?~" she beams.

Then she head tilts. "What favor, Sakura?" she asks. "I'll always do what I can!" she beams.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto took the card. She then gulped. "I'm..." She frowned. She couldn't... feel it. Like she could the other cards. It felt different. It was Haruna's card. It felt... just different. She then sighed and hugged it, "I'm sorry. I'll keep you safe, I promise..." she whispered to it.

Then she glanced up. "Mamoru-sempai healed me all up! It was really cool. But, ummmm.... they keep giving me drugs a-and I can't turn them away." If haruna looked, she might notice the IV drip wasn't even IN Sakura. It was just taped to her. "I use illusion card to make them not notice but..." She reached under her bed. So. Many. Pain pills. "Can you do something with these? I'm not hurt so..."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams. "Mamoru-kun is good at that." she says. "I'm glad! But.. then why are---"

Oh. She's been faking in the hospital. She sort of scratches the side of her head. "Right I suppose you actually have family and friends and doctors that'd suspect things if you were just suddenly well WAY ahead schedule..." she says.

"Sure but.. um. I can't take them with me/with me?" she asks.

"I'm gonna need to cheat a little." she says as she empties the 'gift bag' then begins filling it with loose pain pills. She looks left and right and peeks the window open.

"Corvus-chan~" she sings.

There's a few moments of waiting. The seagull comes to the sill and purses his beak as he peeks in. "Everything okay?" he asks.

"Yup! Just take this and um. Dump it directly into the garbage dump okay?" she asks. Corvus peeks at the bag and says. "Uh. Pills?" he asks.

"Look, I've asked you to do WAY WEIRDER things than dump a bunch of pills." she insists.

"Yeah okay." he says.

OF he goes, bag in beak as she closes the window and then tiptoes back. "Done! Do you need someone to do that for you everyday? I can have Corvus tap on the window once a night or something." she says.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto shook her head. "Oh, no. I figured you could give them to Mamoru-sempai or something. I mean, with all the magical people around who might get hurt, I figured... well, they might need them sometimes. You know? But dumping them is probably best. It just feels like such a waste."

She then sighed. "I tried to take one once, but you know... when you're not in pain? I do not like what they do. I felt all loopy and just... I didn't like it." She shook her head. Such a good girl. And... ".... so you know why I was there? Why... Hannah-sempai and I... fought?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head. "Magical injuries aren't healed so easily by pills and bandages. They help but..." she shrugs. "I can always have Corvus go back and get them. He'll remember. Seagulls are smart you know." she insists. "Especially magical ones." she giggles.

"I have a vauge idea that she tried to take something that didn't belong to her and that you got in the way on purpose." she says quietly.

"That's right, right?" she asks, as if asking for Sakura for confirmation.

Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Oh, yes! Corvus is the best bird around! Seagulls are so cute and cuddly," she said proudly. She was probably one of Corvus' favorites by now too. "I should get him something, too. Ummmm... can you give him a piece of chocolate, please? Oh! Daddy made some cookies! Here! Can you take some for you, Corvus and..."She trailed off. "You and Corvus-kun?"

She then blinked and nodded. "Y-yeah. She... she tried to..." She squeezed her legs. "She can't... she's not a good person... is she?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles. Haruna LOVES seagulls and can talk to Sakura about them forever. She was infact, about to, when she asks a question.

'Is Hannah Sharpe a good person?'.

"That's a complicated question, Sakura-chan." she says quietly. "I know it should sound like it shouldn't be, but it is." she says.

"This story. Isn't about Hannah-chan. But it's something similar. Okay?" she asks.

"Imagine that... you have a friend. This friend was a little shy but you made them a friend anyways and things we're going great..." she says.

"...and you're strong. A good fighter." she says.

"But something amazing happens. Something awful and dark explodes out of the ground and it attacks your friend and you fight it, but. This thing is on a whole another level." she says.

"And it wins. And it makes your friend very sick in a way that can't really be cured." she says silently.

"And help did come. But too late, to help you friend. So you're angry. And you're upset..."

"..and then this person comes. And he offers you something. To protect your friend. But it involves also doing not nice things." she says.

"And you do those not nice things to keep the power to also protect those you care about, and because you don't want another person to end up like you friend. Sick and maybe even dying. Because someone wasn't there when you needed them most." she says.

"That person that wants to help but also needs to do bad things because they're beholden to these people that LET them help people..."

"Does that make them a bad person?..." she asks quietly.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto stared at the bed. Then... "No. It doesn't. It makes them a sad person. Someone who... who needs help. A lot of help." She then sighed.

".... But why does she have to steal? Why does she have to hurt others? I... I gave her my magic. And... and it came back but... it cost me the cards. But I gave it to her..."

Then... "I would have given her the cards, if she'd needed them. But she... why does she have to steal, Haruna-sempai? Why did she have to..." Her lower lip quivered and she stared. "Why can't she... be... why can't she just ask for help? I want to help her and... and instead she attacks people..."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns. "Hannah did some things to herself. To make her more powerful so she wouldn't have to obey the other people she takes orders from. They were VERY stupid things she did to herself." she says quietly.

"Really bad things that are making her sick." she says quietly.

"She thinks taking these things will allow her to fix herself somehow." she says.

"She doesn't want mine or Mamoru's or anyone's help because she wants to do it herself, because she doesn't want to feel like she's under someone's thumb again." she says.

"Just... she'll screw up something bad soon." she says quietly. "That's why I'm trying to figure out my own way to help her." she says.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sighed and then lowered her eyes. ".... She's just going to keep hurting herself and... others... isn't she. No matter what we do, isn't she? There's no... helping her... is there?" And now she looked ready to cry.

"I... I want to fix everything... that's all. I just want everything to be happy and good. I... I have magic now. Isn't that the whole purpose of magic? To be able to help people? To make things better? If not that... then what's the point?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa nods. "Hannah will be okay. In the end. She's tough. She doesn't /want/ to do these things but she feels she needs to, or is being made to- do them." she says quietly.

"Hannah-chan... means a lot to me Sakura-chan." she says quietly.

"When I was... alone. Even when I had my sister around. My sis was the only friend I really had." she says. "-and when I became Scorn I had no friends either. Until Hannah sort of was sent to get me?" she asks. "But she also... she did things with me too? Like she didn't have to. She just. Brought me back to the people she works for and we worked out a deal where I would get help and in return they'd study me." she says.

"But we like did things?" she asks. "It was the first time I ever felt like someone actually tried to be my friend despite my attempts to be a jerk at the time." she admits sheepishly.

"When I got better and after you all fought to save me... I kinda. Latched onto her closer? That's when we started properly dating and what not." she says silently.

"Hannah-chan is the reason I have my sister back. And the reason for a lot of good things in my life." she says.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times and stared at her. Her eyes lowered. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say bad things about her. I just... I..." She quivered a little and chewed on her lip.

"I want to believe she's a goodperson. I want to believe she's my friend. But... but I also want to help her. And... and I wanted to talk to her and... instead I find her attacking someone. Instead of... I just want to help her... why can't she just let us help her?" she asked softly, tugging on the blanket as if she was going to tear it apart. "Why can't it just be easy? Why can't we just help her? Why won't she let us, Haruna-sempai?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa frowns. "She is your friend Sakura. She cares a lot about you. And about me. but she also cares about herself." she says quietly. "And she should. But she needs to be made aware this is bad. Just. Don't stop. Letting her know you're upset. Okay?" she asks.

"Don't. Stop being her friend. Her little sis. Even if you say something else to try to get her to understand. Just. Don't give up on her okay?" she begs and pleads a bit at Sakura. Then a frown.

"Sakura-chan if people could be convinced that easily there wouldn't be much fighting at all in the world." she giggles. "But... sometimes. People are just jerks. Even if they're not truly jerks." she says.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods, laying back and relaxing. "You're right. And... and I don't want to give up on her. I want to save her. And.... and I won't ever give up on her." She rubbed her eyes. "A-after all... I... I never gave up on you, did I?" she asked, with a weak little smile. "Atleast... I hope I didn't. Because... because you're worth it and I think she is too."

She then gave a little yawn and pulled her blanket up. "Haruna-sempai can ummmm... can you tell everyone I'll get on writing the thank you notes soon? And... and that I'm very thank ful for their kindness. And I'm doing a lot better! Just don't tell them how much better. If daddy found out... I don't want him to know and worry about this stuff."

Haruna Kurosawa smiles and grins and helps tuck Sakura in. Tuck tuck tuck. "I'll let the regulars know okay?" she says softly. "And.. no you didn't give up on me." she says quietly. "I remember when we met after. All that." she says. "Just. I'll tell you about it later, okay?" she says softly as she smiles and pats Sakura's shoulder. "Sleep well~" she says as she gently begins to slip out so Sakura can get some rest.
