Synopsis:	Hinote tries to learn how to use Rising Crash.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote was in a good mood. He was primarily in a good mood over the big cylinder with a large red button on it that was sitting on the counter in the now lighted store. He was sitting on a chair and staring at it intently. The girl with the blonde twintails called it a Mana Batttery. That sounded useful....

He stepped back and raised his hand, his relic braclet already around his list. "To Protect Justice.. I am Guardian Hino!"

There was an orange flash and Hinote shifted into the knight.

He gently placed a finger on the cylinder testingly.

Nothing happened.

He hrmmmmmms.....

"Now how do I use this thing...." he mumbles.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Huh!?" Runealy hurries out of the cooler area, the side-wall section now used as the main bed room for those staying here (though scattered sleeping bags allowed others to have their own area if they so wish). Homework she barely understands - and hardly cares about - is easily forgotten when she hears Hino transform and sees that flash.

"What's going on?" She looks around frantically, and after a few seconds she comments: "I don't see anyone attacking us, and you don't look like you're training with anyone here right now, so... what was that all about?" It's a question asked with shaken nerves; she's calming down, but was definitely spooked for a moment.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino ack! "Oh!" he says. "I...didn't know you were there Rune." he says sheepishly.

"I guess that would be jarring just transforming like that." he says brushing a hand through his hair. "I'm just. Working with this cylinder thing Gao and I got..." he says. "It's supposed to be a mana battery...but...."

He scratches his head. "I wonder how it's used." he says as he crosses his arms.

It's weird to be transformed and not imemdiatly grabbing for his sword though. "Nrg... I could try... something but I'd maybe just damage it." he grumbles.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"So that's what it is?" Rune walks over to join Hino, eyes raised and curiosity taking over now that fright has faded. "This is the thing you said you found earlier? I don't understand much about it myself. You said it was a 'battery', just now. Like the batteries in a cell phone? I'm guessing 'give it electricity' isn't the right answer, though?"

She pokes her head around to look at it from various angles. "Damage it, you say? Is this thing even okay to have here?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino shrugs. "I dunno. When we found it was belching fire. It seems safe now though..." he says as he scatches his head a bit in thought. He places a hand over the top and thinks a little. His gauntlet covered hand glows red!....

Nothing happens. He removes his hand. "Like a battery, but for magic I guess." he says.

He lets that sink in. 'Like a battery' and then his eyes light up. "OH! I'm so silly..." he says as he picks up the device and tries placing his hand on the bottom, where a round protrusion on the cyclinder is. His hand begins to glow again.....

The thing talks.

<Charging... 1%>

"Aha!" he says.

"Okay so I was just being silly and I had to actually touch uh. What I guess this things contact is. Like a barrery." he says with a blush.

You'd think he'd know that kinda thing. Being from. well. /here/.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Wait, what!?" Now Rune is alarmed all over again. "It was sending fire everywhere and now it 'seems' not dangerous?" She's not angry, but she's very dubious about this. "Hino, are you sure this is okay? If this place gets lit up, we're in big trouble."

Yet he seems to have it going by the time her protests finish. "How'd you do that? Where is it getting electricity from?" At no point did Hino tell her this particular battery takes in electricity, she's simply presuming even though he used other terms. "What does this do for us?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino removes his hand when it belches that it's 1% charged. He doesn't press that weird button on top. He holds his chin. "Yeah it was. But it was also continously charging and releasing energy---it isn't doing that anymore." he says. "The girl...said. she.. sealed it? That made it stop operating on it's own." he asides.

"Well... we can use it to store magical energy I guess. I mean. That seems to be what charges it, and what it was doing when me and Gao found it.

"The recording.. said it was a Lost Logia? I don't really know what that is."

"I'm wondering if we can't fill crystals with it. I mean...."

"If I could just sit here for an hour.... fill this thing up. Then use a crystal to drain the energy...."

"I dunno but I have a feeling this could store a LOT of energy."

"OH! Right, recording. Um....."

Hino taps it.

"I dunno how to play it. gimme a moment." he says.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Who's 'she'? Whoever it is, 'she' fixed it, though? So it works right and won't hurt us?" Rune ventures a guess as to the implications. "I /think/ I've heard 'Lost Logia' somewhere before, but I'm not sure. Couldn't tell you much about them even if I have, really. But..."

Her eyes widen as Hino lays out a few other details. "It stores energy? Great! We could... wait, what do you mean, 'an hour'? Wouldn't an hour... kill you? I'm more worried about you being alive and okay than I am some weird recording. Let's figure that out before we start making tons of plans on using it, okay?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino hehs. "Yeah I guess we need to think this out." he admits. "But... " he pauses. "Remember that blonde twintailed girl from that night where we got mistpaw? Her. She's the one that sealed it. She also had some sort of dog woman with her who took it away from her and tried to throw it into a sewer grate. I sort of grabbed it then. Also. There was some sort of tiny prince there who said he met you and didn't like you any." he says.

He taps the top twice and then suddenly some sort of projection appears at the top.

An unnamed TSAB officer appears in a holo-recording and speaks.

"This Report was originally intended for the TSAB HQ on Midchildia. However, due to the classified nature of its contents, its being locked away in this Lost Logia."

Classified information is being poured out for anyone to hear it. Its almost like someone wants this to be known. The nature of the message seems a bit random, though.

"Koto Miata took the death of her sister, Miri Miata, very hard. She had sympathy for the people who were killed in Miris raids, but she insisted that it wasnt Miris fault and that she shouldnt have to pay for someone elses crimes. We tried to explain to her that there was no way to save Miri without it costing many lives in the process, but she either didnt believe us or didnt care."

"A short time after she was released, Koto Miata vanished. Around that same time we noticed that one of the powerful Lost Logia reclaimed from the raiders was also missing. It was known then as the Seed of Sunrise. It was a powerful Lost Logia meant to restore dead stars to life, and if misused it could have disastrous consequences."

"We didnt suspect, until it was way too late, that Koto Miata had stolen the Seed of Sunrise. She had altered the Lost Logia to a new destructive purpose. We had no choice but to respond in the way we did."

The recording ends.

"....huh." he says.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
Rune looks surprised, tense. "Her? So that's what she can do, and..." 'little prince'... those words chill her mood instantly, head lowered. "Of course he wouldn't. He has no reason at all to like me, he's the one I hurt at the park recen-- hmm?"

Her moping is cut off by the recording, causing the princess to hop back a few steps, tense. "Whoa! What is that!? No, maybe that's kind of like what I saw at 'her' home..." Rune is opting not to name names, but her thoughts flash back to the displays she saw when visiting Homura some time ago.

She quiets down to pay attention to the recording, expression a rollercoaster of reactions. Her gaze lowers in sympathy as talk of a loved one's death is played. Worry, as a 'TSAB' on 'Midchilda' is named. Rapt interest at talk of a device meant to fix entire planets, and celebration cut short by talk of a more sinister use for it.

Hino may have been fairly quiet about it, but she's alarmed as her mind races to make sense of all this new information. "Okay, that's a lot to take in. So there's another world called TSAB Midchilda... one more potential invader. We'll have to steer clear of them if we can. I wonder what's going on with this 'Koto Miata', though? And... wait, is this one of those 'seeds'?"

She stops looking at the device, facing Hino with a very serious and concerned expression. "If it was meant to fix planets, and now it's destructive, do we have some kind of 'planet destroyer' on our hands, right here in this store? Or am I missing something?"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino scratches his head. "I don't think so? I mean. This thing kinda fired off at 100% power before all it did was create a four feet wave of flame for about fifty feet. Not destroy the planet." he murmurs.

"I mean, Gao was able to help contain that with his plants. I don't think that'd matter if this thing destroyed planets or something." he says crossing his arms.

"It's such a small thing. Surely it's not. Like. Destroy the planet dangerous?" he murmurs.

He thinks thoughfully a moment.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"That's a pretty big fire," Runealy remarks as she envisions roughly what a wave that wide would be like. "But no, you're right... that's not enough to destroy a world. Okay. Let's keep an eye on this, maybe we can use it. Let's be careful, though. If it starts to take too much energy from someone, we need to stop. If it turns out to be a planet-destroyer, we find some way to destroy it or find someone we can trust to deal with it. Those are 'just in case' ideas, though. For now, it looks like..."

She gazes at the device, "It looks like it could be just what we need. Let's see if we can make it work. If we can, we're another big step closer to saving everyone. I was worried, but for right now?" A nod over to Hino, "You did good, picking this up. It's a huge gain for us!"

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino smiles. "Gao helped too. So you should let him know too when you can." he says.

"Actually, it was. Yeah. I think if I tried to unleash something like that I'd just hurt myself." he laughs.

He goes ahead and shifts out of his powered form. No need now.

He smiles and places his hands in his pockets.

"Um, do you need help with school work?" he asks softly. "I know School started today. It's a little hectic for everyone." he smiles.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"You're right. I will! It's amazing just how much of what's going on can be traced to you and him... him from the beginning, and you joined in not long after. Still, Gao was at it from step one and now we're finally making real progress... I'll tell him as soon as I see him next," Rune insists with a firm nod.

As for school work? "Sure. A little, I guess. I just need to do well enough to not fail outright, so they don't give us extra trouble. Beyond that, it's not like my grades matter... we won't be attending here much longer, after all."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino smiles. "That's right." he says. "But I don't wanna just slack off because I'm not coming back." he admits...

"I'll be honest. I think my mom is starting to notice my late nights. I think she's going to have an awkward talk to me about deliquincy or something which will kinda stink, but." she shrugs a bit.

"Just.. Dad's an Actor and is around and about too much to really notice much. But mom's a policewoman...."

He pauses. "That's like a City Guard." he says softly.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Do what you have to," Rune is fairly casual about how Hinote approaches schoolwork. As the topic shifts to talks with parents, her head lowers again. "Right... I'm sorry. That has to be the worst, doing something like this and having her misunderstand because we're hiding everything... I'm really sorry, that's not fair to you at all."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Guardian Hino frowns and steps forward and gives Runealy a hug. Even if she may not be ready for it. She's still getting the hug. "Please don't be sorry. This was my choice. I don't regret it." he says softly. "I don't want you worrying about me." he says with a soft series of nods before ending the hug.

Really. He just Runealy to feel better about and not worry about him and his own troubles.

"I can deal with it." he smiles.
