Cast of Characters: | Gaofele Doiru, Hinote Kagari |
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari decided he needed to get out. He wanted to go someplace high up, and thusly has decided upon Clover Tower, along the way, Gao and Rune gets a text saying where he's going, and if they wanna come along. Runealy is probably resting. Gao probably isn't, and gets the text- it says 'Meet you at the top of Clover Tower~'.
Indeed! Hinote has taken the elevator ride up to the top observation area of the tower as he presses himself to the glass, looking out towards Mitakihara as he hrmmmms a bit. You can almmmmmost see the tip of Midori-ya from here! It's a very tall broadcasting tower.
"Let's see..." he says looking towards Uminari City. "Let's see if I can't see my house from here!" he says to himself, as he waits for Gao to show up!
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gao's trip to Clover Tower is much more sedate than his previous trip /from/ the tower. The day had been relatively uneventful, unlike last night's encounter with the Witch, and having a place to wander to sounds like a good idea.
He walks out of the elevator at the top observation area, then walks over to where Hinote is standing. Gao doesn't say anything immediately; instead, he gazes out over the city. The store isn't directly visible from here, but he can at least make out the neighborhood that it's in.
"How are you doing?" he finally asks, a tint of concern still in his voice.
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari ack! He was so caught up in looking for his house that he didn't notice Gaofele finally show up and say something. "Ack! Haaaa--- ha! Sorry! I was caught up. And kind of weird feeling actually." he admits. "I slept like a log last night. Woke up feeling a lot better than when I dragged myself home. I musta looked bad because Mom was super worried." he says as he rubs the back of his head.
"Gonna need to find explanations for why I'm coming home looking like death somedays now I guess." he laughs!
"I was trying to find my home. But there's too many taller buildings obscuring it. It's over in that area of Uminari though..." he says, pointing over to the area.
"You can at least see the theme park from here." he says crossing his arms.
"So are YOU alright?" he asks. "I was too.. out of it after that moon fell on me." he says.
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru nods slightly. "Somewhat unnerved, and certainly tired afterwards," he acknowledges. "I think I managed to withstand it better than most of the others, from what I could tell from the battle."
He thinks about the magical girls they fought alongside. "So... there's at least two Senshi out there," he muses. "Plus... whatever that guy in the tuxedo was." The thoughtful expression fades to a slight frown. "I'm glad he was able to help out... but why did he take the grief seed?"
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari thinks. "I dunno. But I hope he knows what he's doing!" he asides. "Those things are dangerous, remember what Rune said. I don't want to fight that thing again. At least, this time, we know to go straight at shooting the moon next time." he grumbles a bit, a hand sort of brushing through his head.
".. and yeah. That was like, what me and Runealy dealt with. I didn't so much fight it last time than run around trying not to die and throwing rocks at the other creatures in the... area-- field... thing. You saw it right? The landscape changed. It was like that too- only, the one I and Runealy dealt with was like an old castle, and everything was melting." he makes a face.
He sighs and taps the side of his head. "All sorts of crazy things have been going on since I met you two. It's kinda weird." he asides. "I mean. These things aren't normal. At least, to me." he sighs.
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru chuckles weakly. "They're not exactly normal for the rest of us, either," he admits. "Rune and I might be somewhat more used to magic, but we've never encountered anything like a Witch before we arrived here."
The frown returns. "I'd hate to think of what would've happened to those people if we hadn't been in the area," he sighs. "I'm glad we were able to save them, but..."
He shudders. "That place was crazy for us, and we're better able to resist magic. What was it like for them?"
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari nods. "Right. Still. I'm glad you were there to help. Getting pulled under that water was....." he shivers just thinking about it again. "I don't think I'll be going to the beach anytime soon after that one." he says with a short laugh.
"I'm going to be performing in a play soon. I'm hoping that you and Runealy can come see it, if you guys can make time." he smiles. "It's the part I've been practicing for a lot recently. I play the main antagonist of the story." he asides.
"OH, right. Also, I joined Seishou's Kendo Club, I figure that, it can help me learn how to use a sword better. It's helping, a little. Doji's a harsh teacher though. She's already knocked me out twice." he grumbles.
"I think I'll learn a thing or two though." he says as he crosses his arms.
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
"We should be able to make it," Gao smiles. "Barring any last-minute trouble, of course, but I'm definitely planning on being there." What better way to support an aspiring actor than to watch their performance, after all?
He nods at Hinote's comment about Kendo Club. "It should make for good practice," he agrees. "Some of the clubs keep asking me to join, but it's better that I spend my time familiarizing myself with Tokyo." He once made the mistake of making an insightful comment when he happened to watch the Archery Club practicing, and now their captain keeps trying to recruit him!
"Any word about school about Rune or myself?" Gao inquires. He hasn't overheard any comments, but that could just mean that people are being quiet when they're around. "I can tell that it's not that common for new students to arrive at school at this point in the year; do we seem to be fitting in?"
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari says. "Well. There's the usual rumors about transfer students." he asides. "Nothing you need to worry about." he smiles. "Just be friendly, relax, make friends." he says. "Just make sure, if you need to lie, you keep your story straight." he asides. "That'll get the rumors going if you're telling different stories." he grumbles.
He taps his chin. "But otherwise, nope. Nothing extraordinary." he smiles.
He looks back out over the area and hrms. "Ugh, I got in a fight with a gang recently, with Matsuo. Trying to find a girl's dog." he says. "Nothing magical there. But it was pretty crazy. THAT kind of stuff I'm used to." he laughs. "We figured out where the dog was though." he smiles.
He pauses for a moment. "Do you guys miss home?" he asks gently. "I guess that's a silly question. Just. I dunno." he says biting his lip. "I just wanna know if there's more I can do to help make you guys more comfortable." he says crossing his arms.
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru pauses for a moment. "Somewhat, yeah," he admits. "I miss my family a bit, and I really miss the forest. The parks are nice, but... it's not the same."
He turns and leans back against the railing, looking upward. "The Barrier Forest is an old forest," he explains. "The trees are large, and it's not as tamed as the plantings you have here in Tokyo -- for obvious reasons, of course! In some parts of the forest, a skilled branch-walker can travel for miles without touching the ground. It's a much different feel than being in a town, much less a huge city like Tokyo!"
He looks over at Hinote. "But... I wouldn't call it 'feeling homesick'. We're here to protect our world, and that helps give us the strength to keep going." A slight smile crosses his face, and he touches his chest. "As long as we can remember that, I think we'll be fine."
- Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari has a vivid picture painted for him. An old forest. Large trees---big enough you can walk along the branches! It's a lovely mental picture. It makes him smile--- he hopes he gets to see it, he doesn't really express that. Runealy promised as much already. "Yeah, the park's trees aren't really... old. And they don't get too high." he admits. He nods.
"As long as you two are getting along okay. I hope when I go over to Waldia you guys give me the same treatment, because I'm going to be soooooo lost." he laughs a little bit.
"But I hope I get to see your forest." he admits.
- Gaofele Doiru has posed:
"It should be the first thing you see when we go through the portal," Gao nods. The hollow tree the Waldian side of the portal is in isn't one of the biggest ones, but it's still larger than most of the trees around Tokyo! "And of /course/ we'll help you get used to Waldia! After all, what are friends for?"
He turns around and looks out across the city. Out there are countless people, more people than he had thought could ever be possible. And scattered througout the city are magical girls and monsters, aloof allies and diabolical enemies... and more importantly, magical energy -- energy that might help them to save their world, if they can gather it.
